Constraint on cosmological model with matter creation using complementary astronomical observations

The universe with adiabatic matter creation is considered. It is thought that the negative pressure caused by matter creation can play the role of a dark energy component, and drive the accelerating expansion of the universe. Using the Type Ia supernovae (SNe Ia) data, the observational Hubble parameter data, the Cosmic Microwave Background (CMB) data and the Baryonic Acoustic Oscillation (BAO) data, we make constraints on the cosmological parameters, assuming a spatially flat universe. Our results show that the model with matter creation is consistent with the SNe Ia data, while the joint constraints of all these observational data disfavor this model. If the cosmological constant is taken into account, a traditional model without matter creation is favored by the joint observations.

ON THE FORMATION AND MAINTENANCE MECHANISMS OF THE COLD WATER MASS OF THE YELLOW SEA

An analytical study is made on the formation of the Cold Water Mass of the Yellow Sea (CWYS) and the relevant thermally driven circulation. The temperature and velocity field, obtained by solving the coupled equations of motion and heat conduction, show that, in summer, the CWYS has a horizontal cyclonic circulation (component) with vertical upwelling in the middle and downwelling at the edges, that the vertical convection (u-w components) occurs only within a thin layer near the thermocline. and that the deeper layer remains almost motionless. This current structure represents well the mechanisms responsible for the maintenance of the thermocline or CWYS during the wanner months. Comparisons between the theoretical and observed temperatures show very good qualitative and quantitative agreements for corresponding seasons.     

军曹鱼不同组织5种同工酶的研究

采用聚丙烯酰胺垂直凝胶电泳法对军曹鱼的几种组织 (脑、心肌、肾、肌肉、性腺、肝、血液、胰、脾 )的 5种同工酶 (LDH、MDH、ME、POD和EST)进行了分析 ,结果表明 :5种同工酶在军曹鱼中都具有明显的组织特异性 ,这些特异性与其组织特定生理功能相关。与其他硬骨鱼类相比 ,军曹鱼的酶谱简单得多 ,这可能与其种属多样性相关。     

Research on protection of steel piles of Baoshan general steel factory wharf by using DZ and DZ-2 tapes

Steel piles at the tidal zone can be seriously corroded. Common protective methods such as painting or coating with rubber or other protective materials, etc. cannot provide full protection when used as supplementary protection because these traditional methods require strict pretreatment and sealing of the metallic surface from the corrosive mediums, and time for the protective coatings to solidify. This is very difficult under the severe action of waves and surges on the sea. With our oil-soluble DZ-2 tape, protection efficiency for hanging steel plates at the tidal and splash zones reaches to 82–99%. The protection efficiency of water soluble DZ tape at the tidal zone reaches to 92.9%. The DZ and DZ-2 tapes can rapidly reduce the original corrosion velocity to ten percent and one percent respectively as fully proved by the 500 hour rapid corrosion testing with indoor salt fog and by the relevant electrochemical parameters of instantaneous corrosion velocity, etc. DZ tape absorbs much OH⁻ to cause a pH rise. A synergistic protective effect is gained when DZ tape is used together with cathodic protection of steel piles at the tidal zone. The working principle of DZ tape is different from that of DZ-2 tape even though they are composed of the same chemical materials. The latter provides protection because of the close affinity between metal and its carboxyl group shields the active centre at the metal surface to reduce the activation energy of metal. The carbon chain forms a covering oil film of netted structure. Dai Tao, Dai Wei and Xia Caiyuan et al. participated in the research and made useful contribution. ANALYSES OF THE DYNAMIC EFFECTS ON WINTER CIRCULATION OF THE TWO MAIN MOUNTAINS IN THE NORTHERN HEMISPHERE——Ⅱ.VERTICAL PROPAGATION OF PLANETARY WAVES

A linear,hemispheric and stationary spectral model with multilayers in the vertical was employed to simulate thevertical propagation of waves triggered by mountains.Results show that,in cooperation with the East Asia zonal meanflow,Tibetan Plateau can excite a strong wavenumber 1 perturbation in the stratosphere with its ridge and trough lo-cated over the Pacific and Atlantic Oceans respectively.On the other hand,the stratospheric wavenumber 1 perturbationcaused by the mechanical forcing of the Rocky Mountains in cooperation with the North America zonal mean flow isvery weak.Calculations from observational data of the vertical profile of critical wavenumber for vertically propagatingwaves imply that the tropospheric wavenumber 1 perturbation can hardly penetrate the North America tropopause up-wards,whereas it can freely propagate through the East Asia tropopause into the stratosphere.Two-dimensional E-Pcross-sections obtained from both observational data and simulated results also demonstrate that waves excited by theRocky Mountains are refracted towards low latitudes in the troposphere during their upward propagation:whereas,inaddition to the above mentioned equatorward leaning branch,the wavenumber 1 and 2 planetary waves excited by theTibetan Plateau possess another branch which is refracted to high latitudes during upward propagation and penetratesthe tropopause into the stratosphere.It is therefore concluded that the difference in the horizontal and vertical wavepropagations in the two hemispheres is a result of the different dynamical forcing induced by the two main mountains inthe Northern Hemisphere.     

黄金新药源与豫西含金植物

黄金可以入药，历代本草均有记载。但因不溶性金被人体吸收极微，内服有一定毒性，加之其价格昂贵及一些药理学和比较复杂的检测处理与技术加工问题，不能普遍应用。自然界许多动植物都是聚金能手，特别是生长于富金岩石及金矿床风化土壤中的植物含金一般较高，部分动物因以含金植物为食，体内也含一定量的金，并且有些动植物本身就是中药材和食物。据此建议采取一定手段将含金较高、但未达工业品级的岩石，通过生物循环把金聚集至动、植物体内，金与动植物体内蛋白质等有机质结合成金的有机络合物，将此类动植物用于医疗或食疗，既可减小金的毒性，便于人体吸收，又可把未达工业品级的含金岩石利用起来。豫西某构造蚀变岩金矿，其上覆土壤中生长着含金植物，这些植物灰分中含金４×１０－９～９８×１０－９，其中以野苋菜的籽和叶灰分中含金最高（含金７５×１０－９～９８×１０－９），看来在本区用野苋菜籽和叶灰分中金含量进行找矿是可行的
