Lead concentrations and isotopes in aerosols from Xiamen, China 总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1
To investigate the magnitude and origin of lead (Pb) pollution in the atmosphere of Xiamen, China, 40 aerosol samples were collected from the coast of Xiamen from January to December 2003. All these samples were measured for Pb isotopic compositions (208Pb/206Pb = 2.10897 ± 0.00297, 207Pb/206Pb = 0.85767 ± 0.00159, n = 40) using a Multi-collector-Inductively Coupled Plasma Mass Spectrometer (MC-ICPMS). Thirty-five out of forty samples were also measured for Pb concentrations (79.1 ± 38.3 ng/m3, n = 35) by Atomic Absorption Spectroscopy (AAS). The results indicate that the Pb concentrations display significant seasonal variations while Pb isotopic ratios remain relatively constant. The Pb concentrations were high in January and February, abruptly decreased in March, remained relatively constant (but low) from April to August, and then gradually increased from September to December. This corresponds to the rainless climate in winter and rain scavenging in summer. The higher Pb concentration of Xiamen aerosols in winter and spring may be also caused by long-range transferred anthropogenic Pb during the northeastern monsoon seasons. Although the use of leaded gasoline in Xiamen was banned in 2000, our new data indicate that the Pb annual concentrations of aerosols in Xiamen increased about 12% when compared to the data measured between 1991 and 1993. Thus, Pb pollution in the atmosphere of Xiamen has not receded even after the phase-out of leaded gasoline. Our results further confirm the previous studies’ conclusion that the primary source of atmospheric Pb in China, especially in South China, is the vast combustion of lead-containing coal, not leaded gasoline. 相似文献

南天山地区是天山地震构造区现今构造运动最为强烈的地区,该地区地震活动频度高、强度大。本文选取了南天山地区1985~2010年6月15日M≥3.5地震的强震动记录共360条,采用改进的两步回归法拟合了该地区土层加速度衰减规律。通过回归结果和实际记录资料的对比分析,发现模型Ⅱ的衰减曲线与实际观测资料拟合度更高,同时也发现水平向回归结果好于垂直向的回归结果。与该地区的其它地震加速度衰减关系研究成果相比,此衰减关系与实际记录的吻合度较高。 相似文献

We isolated a strain of lymphocystis disease virus (LCDV) from Japanese flounder (Paralichthys olivaceus) cultured in northern China. Based on published sequences of major capsid protein (MCP) gene of LCDV-cn (GenBank: AF126405),
we designed two primer sets P1/P2 and P3/P4. We then used one-step or nested PCR and in-situ hybridization (ISH) to detect
LCDV and identify the target tissues or cells in infected Japanese flounder. The PCR products were positive in purified viral
supernatant, skin nodules, gut, gill, kidney, spleen, stomach, heart, and liver of Japanese flounder. We compared the DNA
sequence with 14 MCP nucleotide sequences from GenBank, including Megalocytivirus (OFIV and RSIV), Iridovirus (CzIV and WIV), Ranavirus (TFV and FV3), and Lymphocystivirus (8 LCDV). Based on the alignment, we confirmed the PCR product was from Lymphocystivirus (GenBank accession number DQ279090 (LCDV-HD)). Using ISH, we noted the presence of LCDV in the skin nodules, gut, gill, spleen,
stomach, and heart of spontaneously infected Japanese flounders. We successfully amplified LCDV fragments from Schlegel’s
black rockfish (Sebastes schlegeli Higendorf), redwing sea robin (Lepidotrigla microptera Günther) and turbot (Scophthalmus maximus) using the one-step and nested PCR, suggesting the target genes can be widely detected in fish using this method. 相似文献

Sea surface temperature (SST) from a near real-time data set produced from satellites data has been assimilated into a coupled
ice–ocean forecasting model (Canadian East Coast Ocean Model) using an efficient data assimilation method. The method is based
on an optimal interpolation scheme by which SST is melded into the model through the adjustment of surface heat flux. The
magnitude and space–time variation of the adjustment depend on the depth of heat diffusion into the water column in response
to changes in surface flux, the correlation time scale of the data, and model and data errors. The diffusion depth is scaled
by the eddy diffusivity for temperature. The ratio of the model and data errors is treated as an adjustable parameter. To
evaluate the quality of the assimilation, the results from the model with and without assimilation are compared to independent
ship data from the Atlantic Zone Monitoring Program and the World Ocean Circulation Experiment. It is shown that the assimilation
has a significant impact on the modeled SST, reducing the root mean square difference (RMSD) between the model SST and the
ship SST by 0.63°C or 37%. The RMSD of the assimilated SST is smaller than that of the satellite SST by 0.23°C. This suggests
that model simulations or predictions with data assimilation can provide the best estimate of the true SST. A sensitivity
study is performed to examine the change of the model RMSD with the adjustable parameter in the assimilation equation. The
results show that there is an optimal value of the parameter and the model SST is not very sensitive to the parameter. 相似文献
