We investigated the high-pressure behaviour of Fe3+-bearing hydrous phase-X, (K1.307Na0.015)(Mg1.504Fe 0.373 3+ Al0.053Ti 0.004 4+ )Si2O7H0.36, up to 34?GPa at room temperature by synchrotron X-ray powder diffraction. The lattice parameters behave anisotropically, with the [001] direction stiffer than [100]. In the 10?4 to 22?GPa pressure range, the axial bulk moduli are K 0a ?=?112(3) GPa and K′?=?4, and K 0c ?=?158(2) GPa and K′?=?4, and the anisotropy of the lattice parameters is β0c 0a ?=?0.71:1. The cell volumes are fitted by a second-order Birch–Murnaghan equation of state giving a bulk modulus of K 0?=?127(1) GPa and K′?=?4 in the same pressure range. After 22?GPa, a discontinuity in volume and lattice parameters can be recognized. Sample did not become amorphous up to 34?GPa. The coupled substitution K?+?Mg?=?[]?+?Fe3+ has only a limited influence on the bulk modulus and structural stability of phase-X.  相似文献

The article overviews the most important changes in the internal urban structure of Prague since 1989. Post-communist urban development has been influenced by government-directed reforms of political and economic system, internationalisation and globalisation, public policies favouring unregulated market development, economic restructuring in terms of deindustrialisation and growth of producer services, and increasing social differentiation. The three most transparent processes of urban change in Prague have been (1) commercialisation of the historical core; (2) revitalisation of some inner city neighbourhoods; and (3) residential and commercial suburbanisation in the outer city. Three generations of Quaternary conglomerates formed by cementation of glacial gravels are found in drift of the Appalachian Plateau in south-central New York. Postglacial conglomerates have been locally cemented by carbonate minerals within limestone-bearing (erratic-rich) gravels of Late Wisconsin (Woodfordian) age. Conglomerates cemented during the Mid-Wisconsin interstade occur as numerous fragments in erratic-rich Late Wisconsin drift, and as a single in situ mound near Syracuse. Mid-Wisconsin conglomerate contains fragments of a still older conglomerate believed to be of possible pre-Wisconsin (Sangamon) age. Both postglacial and Mid-Wisconsin conglomerates were cemented in the same manner, as a result of diagenetic processes in the vadose zones of limestone-bearing terraces. Information gleaned from conglomerate fragments indicates that Early Wisconsin drift was similar to Late Wisconsin drift; the Early and Late Wisconsin glaciations and deglaciations of the plateau probably proceeded in much the same fashion.  相似文献

The quality of groundwater was assessed by determining the physicochemical parameters (pH, EC, TDS and TH) and major ions concentration (HCO3, Cl, FSO4, Ca, Mg, Na and K) around Dindigul district, Tamil Nadu, India. The groundwater samples were collected from 59 bore wells covering the entire study area and analyzed using standard methods. The GIS mapping technique were adopted to highlight the spatial distribution pattern of physicochemical parameters and major ion concentration in the groundwater. Gibbs diagram reveals that the source of major ions is predominantly derived from rock–water interaction and evaporation dominance process. The salt combinations of the aquifers are dominated by CaHCO3, mixed CaMgCl, mixed CaMgHCO3 and CaCl facies type due to leaching and dissolution process of weathered rocks. The Canadian Council of Ministers of Environment Water Quality Index (CCMEWQI) suggests that most of the groundwater quality falls under good to marginal category. The statistical analysis indicates that the presence of major ions and physicochemical parameters are chiefly controlled by rock–water interaction and residence time of the groundwater. However, the major nutrient like nitrite in the groundwater probably comes from anthropogenic process. Based on the groundwater quality standards, majority of the samples are suitable for drinking purposes except few in the study area.  相似文献

In underground flow tracing studies, the estimation of the nature and the importance of interactions undergone by the substance used very often constitutes an obstacle to good modeling of mass-transfer processes in solution.

We propose a method to quantify these phenomena by the use of lanthanides as tracers.

For this study, we set up an analytical methodology adapted to routine measurements. The quality of five lanthanides as indicators has been examined. We have demonstrated the formation, by substitution, of a carbonate complex which is extremely stable in the natural environment. The field experiments carried out demonstrated the efficiency of those tracers and confirmed their great stability.

Tracer recovery graphs show that, in accord with our hypothesis, convection and dispersion are identical for all the lanthanide elements. Moreover, we have established a direct relation between their fixing rate on earth materials and the value of their stability constants.

Thus, we demonstrate the possibility of correlative multitracing, with known and quantifiable interelement relations.

Dans les études de circulations souterraines par traceur, l'estimation de la nature et de l'importance des interactions subies par la substance utilisée constitue, bien souvent, un obstacle à une bonne modélisation des processus de transfert de masse en solution.

Nous proposons une méthode de quantification de ces phénomènes par l'utilisation des lanthanides comme traceurs.

Pour cette étude, nous avons mis au point une méthodologie analytique adaptée aux mesures de routine. Les qualités, en tant qu'indicateurs, de cinq lanthanides ont été examinées. Nous avons démontré la formation, par substitution, d'un complexe carbonaté extrèment stable en milieu naturel. Les expériences de terrain réalisées ont prouvé l'efficacité de ces traceurs et confirmé leur grande stabilité.

Les courbes de restitution obtenues ont montré que, conformément à nos hypothèses, la convection et la dispersion sont identiques pour l'ensemble de ces éléments. De plus, il a été établi une relation directe entre leurs taux de fixation sur le terrain et la valeur de leurs constantes de stabilité.

On dispose ainsi d'une possibilité de multitraçage corrélatif, avec des relations interélémentaires connues et quantifiables.  相似文献

An attempt has been made in Chinnar sub basin of Dharmapuri district, South India to isolate the geochemistry of uranium occurrences in groundwater. The geology of the area is mainly of charnockite and granite gneiss. Groundwater samples were collected for two different seasons post and pre monsoon in two different litho units (granite gneiss and charnockite) and analysed for major, minor and uranium concentrations. Higher uranium (18.45 μg L?1) has been recorded during pre monsoon season in granite gneiss with increasing pH. The saturation index calculation for the groundwater isolated minerals like uaraninite, coffinite, haiweeite and soddyite to be precipitating and uranium oxides like UO2.25, UO2.25beta, UO2.33beta as oversaturated. The Eh-pH diagram attempted represents solubility of uraninite within the pH range of 6.0 to 8.0. The study isolate uranium in groundwater of the study area is controlled by the presence of (U4O9) uranium oxide.  相似文献

Based on an analysis of the available archived data from the Russian network of geomagnetic stations, it has been indicated that the known event of August–September 1859 was the first and the greatest event in the series of the recurrent geomagnetic storms. Similar series were repeatedly observed in the next years. These series are caused by the processes on the Sun and in the heliosphere related to the superposition of the solar wind flows. The sporadic and regular components in joint activity of the complex, including active regions and coronal holes on the rotating Sun, play the role of the Bartels M regions responsible for initiation and development of geomagnetic storms. Neither coronal holes nor active regions can separately explain observations. During interpretation, active regions and coronal holes should be considered as a unified complex.  相似文献

The artificial ionospheric turbulence occurs in the ionosphere illuminated by high power HF radio waves. There are a lot of irregularities stretched along the geomagnetic field in this region. The investigation of the artificially disturbed ionospheric region is based on the reception of back scattered signals (BSS) which permits the basic parameters of this region to be estimated and its inhomogeneous structure to be described.Experiments were carried out using ‘Sura’ heating facility in the frequency range of ? = 4.7–9 MHz (ordinary mode) with the effective radiated power Peff = 50–70 MW beamed vertically upwards. The most important dynamic and statistical BSS characteristics (the built-up time, the relaxation and autocorrelation times, the BSS amplitude spatial correlation function and power spectra) were measured using probe waves in the frequency range of that made it possible to obtain the basic parameters of the artificial irregularities. The model representation of a disturbed region in a form of a periodic structure gives a possibity to evaluate the scale of the structure, the whole size of the disturbance and its power and to calculate the main BSS characteristics.  相似文献
