In this study, wind tunnel tests were performed to determine the relationships between sediment transport, the surface moisture content, and wind velocity using beach sands from a tropical humid coastal area of China. The variation in the properties of the creep proportion, relative decay rate as a function of height, and average saltation height in the flux profile were determined. Sand transport was measured using a standard vertical sand trap. The creep proportion (i.e., the proportion of the particles that move along the surface rather than undergoing saltation) and relative decay rate decreased and more particles were ejected to higher positions as moisture content and wind velocity increased. The creep proportion ranged between 0.12 and 0.33, and averaged 0.22. The creep proportion and relative decay rate decreased abruptly at moisture contents between 0.587 and 1.448%; the latter value was close to 1.591%, the moisture content at a matric potential of ?1.5 MPa. This moisture content limit may indicate a change in the form of soil water from adsorbed films on particle surfaces to capillary forces created by inter-particle water bridges. The surface moisture content therefore appears to decisively determine the degree of the restraint on particle entrainment by the wind. The average heights, below which 25, 50, 75, and 90% of sand transport occurred, increased with increasing moisture content (except at 0.231% moisture content) and wind velocity. The mean saltation height at various wind velocities increased linearly with increasing moisture content.  相似文献

Aeolian sand transport results from interactions between the surface and the airflow above. Air density strongly constrains airflow characteristics and the resulting flow of sand, and therefore should not be neglected in sand transport models. In the present study, we quantify the influence of air density on the sand flow structure, sand transport rate, adobe abrasion profiles, and abrasion rate using a portable wind-tunnel in the field. For a given wind speed, the flow’s ability to transport sand decreases at low air density, so total sand transport decreases, but the saltation height increases. Thus, the damage to human structures increases compared with what occurs at lower altitudes. The adobe abrasion rate by the cloud of blowing sand decreases exponentially with increasing height above the surface, while the wind erosion and dust emission intensity both increase with increasing air density. Long-term feedback processes between air density and wind erosion suggest that the development of low-altitude areas due to long-term deflation plays a key role in dust emission, and will have a profound significance for surface Aeolian processes and geomorphology.  相似文献

<正>Red clay type gold deposits,located in the south of China,are situated not only in orogenic belts,but also in inner cratons,where climate is tropical-subtropical with clear arid and humid.The lateritic weathering crust often can be divided into five zones,including topsoil,siliceous duricrust zone,multi-color zone(or red clay zone in some deposits),pallid zone and saprolite zone from surface to the base rock,several of which are absent in some deposits.The base rocks are composed mainly of carbonate rocks with minor clastic rocks,intermediate-basic volcanic rocks and intermediate-acid and alkalic intrusions.The orebodies are mainly located in the multi-color zone with part of them in the pallid and saprolite zones.The ore sources include orebodies of Carlin-type gold deposits and porphyry gold deposits,as well as gold-rich base rocks.The red clay type gold deposits experienced early-stage endogenic gold mineralization and laterization during the Tertiary and Quaternary.The areas with endogenic gold deposits,especially Carlin-type gold deposits and porphyry gold deposits in karst depressions on the plateau,structual erosional platforms in the middle-lower mountains,and intermountain basins in southern China are well worth studying to trace red clay type gold deposits.  相似文献

This paper presents a dual-percolation model coupling the percolation theory and the fracture percolation theory to study the conductivity of the fractured porous media. The Monte-Carlo method is used in the numerical simulation. First an appropriate computing scale by considering the calculation precision and elapsed time together is validated. Then, two parameters, A 0 and D are presented in this model to determine the conductivity of the media. Generally the media can be blocked by itself in the condition of D > 2. However, the increase of pore connection and the randomness of fracture direction may release the selfblockage, increase the conductivity and make the dual porous media dissipated. 硒是人和动物必需的微量元素,基于58件标准物质的化学风化指标和硒的认定值,采用微量元素地球化学背景值的经验方程形式拟合得到表征全国范围内硒背景值的经验方程:lgc=0822×(12-WIG/100)-1061×lg(K2O/SiO2)-2704,式中c为Se的含量(单位为μg/g),风化指标WIG的变化范围为43~1116,风化指标K2O/SiO2变化范围为0020~0137。该方程所表征的是样品因风化程度不同所呈现出的硒地球化学背景值,风化程度强的样品总体上具有较高的Se地球化学背景值。将该经验方程式在广东河台和广东南昆山两个研究区进行应用,认为寻找富硒区应当优先将风化程度较强的地区视为备选区,依据全国区域化探扫面数据可以方便地确定风化程度较强的地区。在环境质量评价中可以利用Se实测值确定足硒和富硒区,利用实测值扣除背景值获得的元素含量剩余值可以有效确定残积层土壤下伏的足硒和富硒岩石,即依据全国多目标地球化学调查数据可以有效地确定足硒和富硒地质体(残积层土壤及其下伏岩石)的分布区。广东南昆山岩体中西部的岩石应属于足硒和富硒地质体。  相似文献
