青藏高原东北缘寺口子盆地新生代沉积演化及其构造意义 总被引:2,自引:0,他引:2
宁夏固原寺口子盆地发育巨厚的新生代地层,这些地层记录了青藏高原东北部的沉积演化特征和构造演变历史。根据剖面沉积物粒度特征、沉积结构和构造、沉积层序,识别出20种岩相、5种沉积相类型。结合前人对寺口子剖面的古地磁测年,分析研究盆地的沉积演化特征以及对构造的响应表明:20.1 Ma盆地以缓慢的坳陷沉降开始演化,直至1.2 Ma遭受破坏。在此期间青藏高原东北部经历了6.4 Ma、4.6 Ma和1.2 Ma这3次明显的构造挤压隆升运动,其中约6.4 Ma的构造运动是青藏高原向东北部扩展首次影响到海原—六盘山断裂以东地区。从盆地的形成和沉积演化过程来看,马东山山前断裂的逆冲推覆,导致了寺口子盆地的强烈变形和构造降升,并且最终成为青藏高原的最新组成部分。 相似文献

In the 2008 Wenchuan earthquake in Sichuan Province, a large number of buildings, water conservancy facilities, and transportation
facilities were severely damaged. The damage caused by liquefaction and earthquake-induced soil subsidence was widely distributed,
diverse, and extensive. Typical liquefaction and earthquake-induced subsidence damage for this region has been described by
investigations of soils and foundations in the earthquake-stricken area. Factors that influenced the liquefaction of soils
in Dujiangyan County were analyzed, accounting for regional geological conditions. The results identify several factors that
may affect the process of liquefaction and general damage to buildings, roads, levees, and dams. Such factors could serve
as the basis for further research into mitigating the damage caused by earthquake-induced liquefaction and subsidence. The
importance of detailed ground reconnaissance and the implementation of reasonable and effective measures to improve soft soil
are proposed for earthquake hazard reduction in similar areas. 相似文献

Petrogenesis and tectonic implications of Late Jurassic shoshonitic lamprophyre dikes from the Liaodong Peninsula, NE China 总被引:5,自引:0,他引:5
This paper presents detailed mineral chemical, element geochemical and Sr–Nd–Hf isotopic data for the Late Jurassic (155?±?4 Ma) lamprophyre dikes in the Liaodong Peninsula, NE China. The lamprophyres are shoshonitic and geochemically fall into three groups: Group I has relatively high SiO2 (52.5–57.0 wt.%), low MgO (5.5–8.3 wt.%) and compatible trace element (e.g. Cr?=?128–470 ppm) contents, high initial 87Sr/86Sr ratios (0.7093–0.7117), and low εNd (T) values (?9.6 to ?12.1); Group II has relatively low SiO2 (44.8–50.0 wt.%), high MgO (10.8–14.2 wt.%) and compatible trace element (e.g. Cr?=?456–1,041 ppm) contents, low initial 87Sr/86Sr ratios (0.7073–0.7087), and high εNd (T) values (?1.4 to ?2.9); Group III is transitional between the two in all elemental and isotopic compositions. Interpretation of the elemental and isotopic data suggests that the lamprophyric melts were derived by partial melting of subcontinental lithospheric mantle (SCLM) at a depth of 60–80 km (group I), decompression melting of upwelling asthenosphere at 60–100 km (group II), and mixing between the SCLM-derived and asthenosphere-derived melts (group III). It is assumed that the local SCLM was detached at a depth of 60–80 km by the 155 Ma ago. A continental arc-rifting related to the Palaeo-Pacific plate subduction is favored as a geodynamic force for such a cratonic lithosphere detachment. 相似文献

准噶尔盆地西北缘二叠系是重要的产油层和储集层,通过岩心观察、薄片分析,结合测井和录井资料,对西北缘克百断裂下盘二叠系砂砾岩的沉积环境和沉积特征进行了深入研究。研究表明,该区砂砾岩既有水上冲积扇沉积环境沉积的,也有水下扇三角洲前缘沉积环境形成的。前者主要为棕褐色、泥质杂基含量高、分选和磨圆差,储层物性相对较差;后者经过了稳定水流的淘洗,杂基含量少,钙质或沸石类胶结发育,分选性和磨圆度也较高,其物性条件也明显较好。并据此建立了研究区冲积扇与扇三角洲有机结合的沉积模式,该模式突出了湖岸线的重要性,同时模糊冲积扇与扇三角洲之间的界限。并对冲积扇与扇三角洲各亚相的岩性特征、沉积结构和沉积序列进行了归纳和总结,为该区寻找二叠系优质储层提供借鉴和思路。 相似文献

The Mississippian (Early Carboniferous) is generally a period of scarce carbonate buildups in South China. This study documents
outcrops of stromatolite mounds at Mengcun and Helv villages, in Laibin City, Guangxi Province, South China. The stromatolite
mounds contain various stromatolite morphologies including laminar, wavy-laminar, domal or hemispheroidal, bulbous, and flabellate-growth
columns. Intramound rocks are brachiopod floatstone and dark thin-bedded laminated micrite limestone. Individual stromatolites
at Mengcun village are generally 3–6 cm thick and morphologically represent relatively shallow-water laminar (planar and wavy-undulated
stromatolites) and deeper-water domal, bulbous and columnar forms. Where mounds were formed, the stromatolites continued growing
upward up to 60 cm thick. Thrombolitic fabrics also occur but are not common. Stromatolite microscopic structure shows the
bulk of the lamination to consist of wavy microbialite and discrete thin micritic laminae. These mounds are intercalated in
deep-water fore-reef talus breccia, packstone formed as a bioclastic debris flow and thin-bedded limestone containing common
chert layers of the Tatang Formation (late Viséan). Further evidence supporting the deep-water setting of the stromatolite
mounds are: (1) a laterally thinning horizon of brachiopod floatstone containing deep-water, small, thin-shelled brachiopods,
peloidal micritic sediments and low-diversity, mixed fauna (e.g., thin-shelled brachiopods, tube-like worms and algae) that
have been interpreted as storm deposits, (2) common fore-reef talus breccias, (3) lack of sedimentary structures indicating
current action, (4) preservation of lamination with sponge spicules, and (5) lack of bioturbation suggesting that the stromatolites
grew in a relatively low energy, deep-water setting. The stromatolite mounds are the first described stromatolite mounds in
Mississippian strata of South China and contain evidence that supports interpretations of (1) growth history of Mississippian
microbial buildups and (2) environmental controls on stromatolite growth and lithification. 相似文献

Records of two loess sections located in mid-eastern and western margins of the East Asian Monsoon area captured 20 Dansgaard-Oescher events and six Heinrich events. All these suggested that the climate in the East Asian Monsoon area fluctuated rapidly on millennial to century timescales during the whole Last Glacial. We found that these loess-based events of rapid climate fluctuations were generally synchronous with those of GRIP records, but that there were differences between the Shagou loess section in the west and the Wangguan loess section in the east: the former was more sensitive to climate change than the latter. Compared with earlier studies on loess records covering the Last Glacial from neighboring areas, we discovered that the magnitude of Dansgaard-Oeschger cycles decreased gradually from west to east and we suggest that it resulted from the combined effect of the Westerlies and the East Asian Monsoon. 相似文献
