新疆在连续3年没有发生6级以上地震的背景下,2008年分别发生3月21日于田7.3级、10月5日乌恰6.9级以及2次5级地震.为了正确把握未来几年新疆地震活动状态和震情发展趋势,针对新疆境内6.7级以上强震活动的非均一性和新疆地震成组性活动特征进行了探讨分析,结合乌恰6.9级地震较深入分析了乌恰及周围地区地震活动的层次性特征.研究结果表明,乌恰6.9级地震发生后的未来几年新疆大区域范围处于7级左右地震的相对平静时段,未来2年或3年新疆仍处在6级地震成组活跃时段中,乌恰6.9级地震的发生预示着乌恰及周围地区将进入新一轮的中强震活跃时段. 相似文献

从区域地震活动和中等地震震源机制特征的角度,初步研究了2008年新疆于田7.3级地震前区域地震活动和应力场的应力状态特征.结果表明,于田7.3级地震前区域地震活动存在中短期异常特征.一方面,该地震前1年其震区500km范围内中强震以及西昆仑地震带和阿尔金地震带3.5级以上地震出现了增强活动;另一方面,该地震前出现了4级地震孕震空区和近乎共扼分布的3.5级地震密集条带异常图象.于田7.3级地震前新疆区域应力场和震源区及其附近局部应力场的应力状态发生了一定程度的改变,拉张作用力相对挤压作用力有所加强.这可能是于田7.3级地震前新疆和于田震区及其附近具有正断层性质的中等地震增多的原因. 相似文献

在对构造运动差异较大的柯坪块体和天山中部地区地震活动研究基础上,深入分析了这两个不同构造单元的中强地震活动对整体新疆地震形势的影响。不同构造环境下不同构造单元地震活动差异性很大。柯坪块体内构造运动强烈,它是新疆6级地震主要活动区之一。6级地震发生后的1年内,天山地震带是中强地震的主要响应区,在时间上具有短期预测意义。位于特殊构造环境的中天山地区地震少,地震强度低。4次5级地震后的1~3年,新疆地震活动呈明显增强趋势,中天山地区中强地震活动对周边地区中强地震活动会产生触发作用。 相似文献

对1900年以来新疆地区4次M≥7.7大震序列类型、发震构造与震源特征、大震孕震阶段地震活动图像的动态演化特征等进行了分析,探讨了几次大震震源特征。结果表明,大震序列类型具有多样性,包括主-余型、双震型和孤立型;大震震源断错性质基本上反映了天山和阿尔泰构造带分别以逆冲和走滑为主的构造运动特性;大震孕震阶段地震活动图像演化特征明显,中长期阶段新疆地区6级地震活跃,中期阶段相对平静,短期阶段有差异,大震后新疆处于显著平静状态;不同震级的地震活动均反映出明显的由西南向北东迁移规律,表明新疆地区强震活动的主要动力源来自于印度板块向北的推挤作用。 相似文献

Based on the studies of earthquake activity, tectonic movement, crustal shortening rate, fault activity, local stress field and historical characteristics of strong earthquake activities in Xinjiang, we divide the south part of Xinjiang into 4 seismotectonic zones, namely, the eastern segment of south Tianshan seismic belt, the Kalpin block, the Kashi-Wuqia junction zone, and the west Kunlun Mountains seismic belt. Using earthquake catalogues from Xinjiang since 1900, and on the basis of integrity analysis of earthquake records in different magnitude ranges, the seismicity state of different seismotectonic zones is analyzed quantificationally by calculating the mean value of annual strain energy release, annual rate of earthquakes with different lower limits of magnitude, b-value, and the parameter m of accelerating strain release model. The characteristic indexes of seismicity state for each of the seismic tectonic zones are then determined, which provide a quantitative basis for earthquake tendency analysis and judgment. 相似文献

This paper introduces the geological structure background around the 2014 Yutian Ms7. 3 earthquake area, investigates and analyzes the regime of small earthquake activity and the characteristics of regional seismicity pattern in Xinjiang before the earthquake, and compares the characteristics of the regional seismic activity with the 2008 Yutian Ms7.3 earthquake. The results show: ① 2 ~ 3 years before the 2014 Yutian Ms7. 3 earthquake, Xinjiang was in a seismic active state with strong earthquake occurring successively, and before the 2008 Ms 7. 3 earthquake, Xinjiang was in the quiet state of moderate-small earthquakes with M3. 0 ~ 4. 0. ② Before this Yutian Ms7. 3 earthquake, the regional seismic activity showed a short-term anomaly feature, that is, seismicity of M ≥ 5. 0 earthquakes significantly increased on the Altun seismic zone and in the source area three years before the Ms7.3 earthquake, while a five year long quiescence of seismicity of M ≥4. 0 earthquakes appeared on the east of the source area in a range of about 440kin. Six months before this M7. 3 earthquake, there existed seismic gap of M3. 0 ~ 4. 0 earthquakes and near-conjugate seismic belt magnitude 3. 0 and 4. 0 in the source area. ③ The state of strong earthquake activity and the seismicity pattern of small earthquakes before this Yutian Ms7. 3 earthquake were significantly different to that before the 2008 Yutian Ms7. 3 earthquake, and this may be related to the different seismogenic environments of the two Ms7. 3 earthquakes. 相似文献
