嵩县螃蟹沟隐爆角砾岩体与钼金矿化成因探讨

螃蟹沟隐爆角砾岩体是河南省嵩县西北部众多含钼、金角砾岩体之一,这些角砾岩体具有成群、成带分布的特点.螃蟹沟角砾岩体的定位与分布受北西向背形、北西向和北东向断裂构造的复合控制,由燕山期钙碱性岩体与岩脉的侵入,以及随后发生的隐蔽爆发-坍塌作用而生成了角砾岩体.其中包括了震碎角砾岩、隐爆角砾岩、侵入角砾岩及坍塌角砾岩.岩体被后期断裂构造作用所复合叠加,致使钼、金富集成矿,形成"多型一体"的钼金矿床.     

Measurements of radio noise at 0.700 mc and 2.200 mc from a high-altitude rocket probe

Radio noise observations at frequencies of 0·700 Mc and 2·200 Mc were made at altitudes between 3000 and 11,000 km from a Blue Scout Jr. high-altitude rocket probe on 30 July 1963. A steady background flux of (7·5₋₃⁺⁶) × 10⁻¹⁹ W m⁻²)(c/s)⁻¹ at 0·700 Mc and (1·8^+1.0_−0.5 × 10⁻¹⁹ W m⁻² (c/s)⁻¹ at 2·200 Mc was observed. Assuming a galactic origin of the observed fluxes at both frequencies, the averaged sky brightnesses are b(0·700 Mc) = (6₋₃⁺⁵) × 10⁻²⁰ W m⁻² (c/s)⁻¹ sr⁻¹b(2·200 Mc) = (1.4^+1.0_−0.5 × 10⁻²⁰ W m⁻² (c/s)⁻¹ sr⁻¹ The observed brightness at 2·200 Mc is in reasonable agreement with the results of other observers. The apparent brightness at 0·700 Mc is, however, greater than was expected from previous observations. An alternative source of the 0·700 Mc flux in the terrestrial exosphere, as well as characteristics of several noise bursts observed during the flight, is briefly discussed.     

Equivalent thickness of the outer ionosphere obtained by evaluation of Faraday records

With an appropriate system of higher order approximations the Faraday-effect is calculated for instantaneous ionospheric models the data of which are derived from the results of vertical soundings. Only one parameter which corresponds to the thickness of the outer ionosphere is left open; it is determined by global comparison with simultaneous Faraday-observations of satellite emissions. The thickness parameter shows various forms of variation with latitude; an increase towards north is the rule for quiet daytime conditions. Comparison with local methods shows considerable differences due to the indetermination of the absolute number of rotations.     

从统计分析看控制东海重矿物分布的因素

任何地质作用过程都是复杂的,东海也不例外,其沉积过程具有长期性、继承性和叠加性的特点.因而反映在矿物组合及其分布变化上较为复杂,影响因素颇多.然而,运用数学地质方法却可帮助我们寻找和确定其主要的影响因素,查明它们的相互关系,甚至建立定量描述的模式.而这正是传统地质学研究中的难题之一.     

马里亚纳弧前区锥形海山岩石学及成因

锥形海山是马里亚纳弧前区非火山成因的海山。它是由俯冲的太平洋板块对仰冲板块的上推作用,地壳下的上地幔物质底辟侵入的结果。海山顶部的岩石是由蛇纹石化超镁铁质方辉橄榄岩组成。其主要矿物成分为斜方辉石、橄榄石、尖晶石、磁铁矿、蛇纹石和碳酸盐。手标本呈显晶质块状构造,薄片中呈粒状、残留状、筛网状及斑状变晶结构。岩石化学特征表现为:低Si和Al,高M/F值,含水,亏损了所有过渡金属。岩石的成因属超基性岩浆直接结晶,后经海水的参入,在热液作用下普遍发生蛇纹石化和碳酸盐化。

THE VERTICAL MIGRATION OF DIATOM IN LITTORAL OF XIBIAN AND XIAO''AO

The vertical migration of diatoms in mud-flats was studied in littoral of Xibian, Longhai County and Xiao'ao, Lianjiang County, the dominant species being Gyrosigma spencerii and Hantzschia virgata respectively. Both light and tide are important factors affecting the vertical migration of diatoms. With the advent of tide, the diatom community disappears from the surface. It reappears gradually when exposed to light. In the dark, the diatoms never appear in great quantity on the surface in laboratory or in littoral. Whether in the light or in the dark, the diatoms aggregate in maximum numbers in the upper 2 mm of the sediment. But when the tide has covered the sediments for 4 hr, Hantz. virgata penetrates the mud down to a depth of 14 mm, Gy. spencerii, 12 mm. We have found that Gy. spencerii posseses phototaxis, but no tide rhythm and no day-night rhythm in our laboratory.     

Some stability properties of large-scale baroclinic flows with nonlinear zonal current profile

The stability properties of a baroclinic zonal current with nonlinear velocity profile are investigated. The integral method is applied to the governing eigenvalue equation having the vertical velocity as the dependent variable. Expressed in terms of the Rossby number and the Richardson number, stability criteria, unstable regions in the complexc plane, and the upper bound of the unstable wave growth rate are found. Some differences in the results are noted between the present model and the quasi-geostrophic streamfunction model, particularly in connection with the effect of the velocity profile curvature termU _zz . It is conjectured in the present model that, depending on extreme behaviors ofU _zz , the propagation speed of unstable waves can be greater thanU _max or smaller thanU _min .
