In order to understand the properties of the winter circulation in the northern China Sea, a two-dimensional numerical model
has been established and calculated for an ideal sea basin.
In the model we employed a quadratic conservative scheme for a complete set of dynamic and thermodynamic equations. The systematic
analysis of stability produced a series of mathematically and physically restrictive conditions which are more general than
those derived by Irvine, and Chen.
Using this model we made calculations on a series of interesting phenomena, such as the Yellow Sea Warm Current, two gyres
in the Yellow Sea, etc. as well as their developing processes. The simulation can also explain the generation mechanism of
the phenomena.

A method of joint estimation of the parameters and the variance σ2 in the linear model is presented in this paper. The M-estimators with finite rejection points are adopted for estimating the parameters. In order to estimate the variance σ2, the Grubbs statistics and the Kurtosis test statistics are adopted to test the residual sequence {;ri};. And the sample variance of {;ri}; after discarding the outliers is taken as the estimation of σ2. This method of estimating σ2 is less computational demanding and more accurate, compared with the well-known method which takes 1.483 medi |ri| as the estimation of σ. The breakdown point of the above estimation of σ2 is more than 20%, while the brekdown point is less than 10%, if only the Grubbs statistics is used. 相似文献

本文利用常规观测资料、加密自动站资料、NCEP再分析资料对比分析2017年4月14日("4·14"过程)和2017年5月1—2日("5·1"过程)南疆中部巴州地区强降水过程,探讨春季强降水天气动力学异同。结果表明:春季强降水发生在副热带西风急流活跃,伊朗副热带高压向北伸展,地面冷锋活动,高低空为急流锋区配置背景中。水汽源地位于东经40°的阿拉伯海—里海附近,沿西方路径进入新疆,在有利风场条件下汇合至巴州地区,高低空急流耦合形成次级垂直环流,干冷空气多方向侵入增强春季降水强度。主要差异在于"4·14"过程是副热带西风急流异常北跳、影响系统西风带短波槽、冷空气西方路径,"5·1"过程则是极锋急流与副热带西风急流汇合、深厚长波槽系统、冷空气西北路径;"4·14"过程是典型急流锋区降水伴有对流性降水,强降水发生时形成两支次级环流圈,3股干冷空气从不同方向向中低层气旋性环流附近汇合激发了另一支低层中尺度次级垂直环流圈的建立;"5·1"过程是典型急流冷锋降水,高空干冷空气在垂直方向向下入侵触发和增强冷锋降水,形成了一支完整强大的次级垂直环流圈造成巴州大范围的系统性降水。 相似文献

Typhoon Chan-Hom(2015) underwent a weakening in the tropical western North Pacific(WNP) when it interacted with a monsoon gyre, but all operational forecasts failed to predict this intensity change. A recent observational study indicated that it resulted from its interaction with a monsoon gyre on the 15–30-day timescale. In this study, the results of two numerical experiments are presented to investigate the influence of the monsoon gyre on the intensity changes of Typhoon Chan-Hom(2015). The control experiment captures the main observed features of the weakening process of Chan-Hom(2015) during a sharp northward turn in the Philippine Sea, including the enlargement of the eye size, the development of strong convection on the eastern side of the monsoon gyre, and the corresponding strong outer inflow. The sensitivity experiment suggests that intensity changes of Chan-Hom(2015) were mainly associated with its interaction with the monsoon gyre. When Chan-Hom(2015) initially moved westward in the eastern part of the monsoon gyre, the monsoon gyre enhanced the inertial stability for the intensification of the typhoon. With its coalescence with the monsoon gyre, the development of the strong convection on the eastern side of the monsoon gyre prevented moisture and mass entering the inner core of Chan-Hom(2015), resulting in the collapse of the eyewall. Thus, the weakening happened in the deep tropical WNP region. This study investigates the spatial and temporal variability of global stratospheric gravity waves (GWs) and the characteristics of GW activity during sudden stratospheric warming (SSW) using the GPS radio occultation measurements from the COSMIC mission during September 2006 to May 2013. Corresponding to the COSMIC RO observational window and analysis method, GW potential energy (Ep) with vertical scales no shorter than ~2 km is resolved. It is found that the distributions of GW Ep over 20-30 km and 30-38 km show similar spatial and seasonal variations. The variations of GW Ep with altitude and latitude along the westerly wind are identified in different seasons over 60°-80°W. In the middle and high latitudes, seasonal cycles are distinct in the time-latitude and time-altitude distributions of GW activities, which show larger Ep in winters when westerly wind dominates and smaller Ep in summers when easterly wind dominates. The influence of quasi-biennial oscillation on GW activity is recognized in the tropics. GW Ep enhances closely following the occurrence of minor SSW events; while during major events, GW Ep may not enhance, and sometimes may even weaken, in the regions where reversals of zonal wind occur, probably caused by the filtering impact of the 0 m s-1 wind level on the GWs. 相似文献

中国正处在环境污染治理和产业结构调整的关键时期,发展新能源产业是应对能源和环境危机的必然选择;同时,锂资源储备和提锂技术直接影响到国家能源战略安全。中国科学院青海盐湖所经过二十年开发,目前已形成一套成熟的选择性离子迁移分离提锂技术,并经过了产业化和工业应用验证,核心技术达到国际领先水平。该产业化具有绿色、高效、低能耗、低物耗、低产品成本、高纯度等特点,技术通用性好,可推广应用到青海、西藏高海拔生态脆弱地区以及南美玻利维亚、阿根廷、智利等高镁锂比盐湖中锂的分离提取,在高钙镁地热水、油(气)田水提锂方面也有一定的应用潜力。 相似文献
