High levels of uncertainty in non-methane volatile organic compound (NMVOC) emissions in China could lead to significant variation in the budget of the sum of hydroxyl (OH) and peroxy (HO2,RO2) radicals (ROx =OH + HO2 + RO2) and the ozone production rate [P(O3)],but few studies have investigated this possibility,particularly with three-dimensional air quality models.We added diagnostic variables into the WRF-Chem model to assess the impact of the uncertainty in anthropogenic NMVOC (AVOC) emissions on the ROx budget and P(O3) in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region,Yangtze River Delta,and Pearl River Delta of China.The WRF-Chem simulations were compared with satellite and ground observations,and previous observation-based model studies.Results indicated that 68% increases (decreases) in AVOC emissions produced 4%-280% increases (2%-80% decreases) in the concentrations of OH,HO2,and RO2 in the three regions,and resulted in 35%-48% enhancements (26%-39% reductions) in the primary ROx production and ~ 65% decreases (68%-73% increases) of the P(O3) in Beijing,Shanghai,and Guangzhou.For the three cities,the two largest contributors to the ROx production rate were the reaction of O1D + H2O and photolysis of HCHO,ALD2,and others; the reaction of OH + NO2 (71%-85%) was the major ROx sink; and the major contributor to P(O3) was the reaction of HO2 + NO (~ 65%).Our results showed that AVOC emissions in 2006 from Zhang et al.(2009) have been underestimated by ~ 68% in suburban areas and by > 68% in urban areas,implying that daily and hourly concentrations of secondary organic aerosols and inorganic aerosols could be substantially underestimated,and cloud condensation nuclei could be underestimated,whereas local and regional radiation was overestimated. 相似文献

The development of the COMPASS satellite system is introduced, and the regional tracking network and data availability are described. The precise orbit determination strategy of COMPASS satellites is presented. Data of June 2012 are processed. The obtained orbits are evaluated by analysis of post-fit residuals, orbit overlap comparison and SLR (satellite laser ranging) validation. The RMS (root mean square) values of post-fit residuals for one month’s data are smaller than 2.0 cm for ionosphere-free phase measurements and 2.6 m for ionosphere-free code observations. The 48-h orbit overlap comparison shows that the RMS values of differences in the radial component are much smaller than 10 cm and those of the cross-track component are smaller than 20 cm. The SLR validation shows that the overall RMS of observed minus computed residuals is 68.5 cm for G01 and 10.8 cm for I03. The static and kinematic PPP solutions are produced to further evaluate the accuracy of COMPASS orbit and clock products. The static daily COMPASS PPP solutions achieve an accuracy of better than 1 cm in horizontal and 3 cm in vertical. The accuracy of the COMPASS kinematic PPP solutions is within 1–2 cm in the horizontal and 4–7 cm in the vertical. In addition, we find that the COMPASS kinematic solutions are generally better than the GPS ones for the selected location. Furthermore, the COMPASS/GPS combinations significantly improve the accuracy of GPS only PPP solutions. To understand better the variation of solar activity indicators originated at different layers of the solar atmosphere with respect to sunspot cycles, we carried out a study of phase relationship between sunspot number, flare index and solar radio flux at 2800 MHz from January 1966 to May 2008 by using cross-correlation analysis. The main results are as follows: (1) The flare index and sunspot number have synchronous phase for cycles 21 and 22 in the northern hemisphere and for cycle 20 in the southern hemisphere. (2) The flare index has a noticeable time lead with respect to sunspot number for cycles 20 and 23 in the northern hemisphere and for cycles 22 and 23 in the southern hemisphere. (3) For the entire Sun, the flare index has a noticeable time lead for cycles 20 and 23, a time lag for cycle 21, and no time lag or time lead for cycle 22 with respect to sunspot number. (4) The solar radio flux has a time lag for cycles 22 and 23 and no time lag or time lead for cycles 20 and 21 with respect to sunspot number. (5) For the four cycles, the sunspot number and flare index in the northern hemisphere are all leading to the ones in the southern hemisphere. A series of observations of the venusian hydrogen corona made by SPICAV on Venus Express are analyzed to estimate the amount of hydrogen in the exosphere of Venus. These observations were made between November 2006 and July 2007 at altitudes from 1000 km to 8000 km on the dayside. The Lyman-α brightness profiles derived are reproduced by the sum of a cold hydrogen population dominant below ~2000 km and a hot hydrogen population dominant above ~4000 km. The temperature (~300 K) and hydrogen density at 250 km (~105 cm?3) derived for the cold populations, near noon, are in good agreement with previous observations. Strong dawn–dusk exospheric asymmetry is observed from this set of observations, with a larger exobase density on the dawn side than on the dusk side, consistent with asymmetry previously observed in the venusian thermosphere, but with a lower dawn/dusk contrast. The hot hydrogen density derived is very sensitive to the sky background estimate, but is well constrained near 5000 km. The density of the hot population is reproduced by the exospheric model from Hodges (Hodges, R.R. [1999]. J. Geophys. Res. 104, 8463–8471) in which the hot population is produced by neutral–ions interactions in the thermosphere of Venus. 相似文献
