This paper provides a review of various investigations concerned with vibration isolation using trench barriers and factors affecting their performance, also extracts design recommendations, because there is no exact conclusion of researches in this field. Vibrations induced by different sources can be seriously harmful to structures and occupants. Geometrical parameters, soil characteristics, and filling material properties can affect a barrier’s performance. Investigators have applied analytical approach, finite element, boundary element, experimental, and field studies to identify relevant factors. Various geometrical parameters affecting trench’s isolation level were examined, among which depth of trench was found to be the most important, but in most cases, the width of the trench and source-barrier distance have a low effect. Shear-wave velocity ratio of filling material and surrounding soil has the most significant role of all material properties. Using high-energy-absorbing materials can lead to better isolation. The majority of studies consider soil and filling material’s behavior to be elastic, so changes in loading amplitude have no effect on vibration reduction. Finally, among special cases in vibration isolation by trenches, non-rectangular and multiple ones found to be economically satisfying and well-isolating barriers.  相似文献

Simulated acidic precipitation (1:1 equivalent basis H2SO4:HNO3) at pH values of 2.5, 3.0, 3.5, 4.0, 4.5, 5.0 and 7.0 were conducted using column leaching to determine impacts of simulated acid rain on phosphorus (P) leaching from a calcareous sandy loam soil over a 40-day period. Soil columns were irrigated every day to make a total of 1,061 mm, equivalent to 3.5 years of rainfall (based on average annual rainfall). Leachates were collected and analyzed for anions and cations. There was significant nonlinear correlation between the amount of P leached and the simulated acid rain (R 2 = 0.61). Losses of P from the pH 2.5 and 7.0 treatments were 1.23, and 1.32 mg kg−1, respectively. The results showed that the amount of P leached from pH 4 (1.46 mg kg−1) and 5 treatments (1.52 mg−1 kg−1) were significantly larger than other treatments. Linear equation adequately described leaching of P in different treatments. The slope (mg kg−1 day−1) in the linear equation was defined as the leaching rate and for the pH 2.5 was 0.0354, and 0.0382 and 0.0406 for pH 4.5 and 7.0, respectively. The geochemical code Visual MINTEQ was used to calculate saturation indices. Leaching of P in different treatments was controlled by rate-limited dissolution of hydroxyapatite, β-tricalcium phosphate and to some extent octacalcium phosphate. The results indicate that acid rain in calcareous sandy loam soils may pose a risk in terms of groundwater contamination with P.  相似文献

The metamorphic rocks of the Aligudarz-Khonsar region can be divided into nine groups: slate, phyllite, sericite schist, biotite-muscovite schist, garnet schist, garnet-staurolite schist, staurolite schist, mylonitic granite, and marble. In this metamorphic region, four phases of metamorphism can be identified (dynamothermal, thermal, dynamic and retrograde metamorphism) and there are three deformation phases (D1, D2 and D3). Paleozoic pelagic shales experienced prograde metamorphism and polymetamorphism from the greenschist to amphibolite facies along the kyanite geotherm. The metapelites show prograde dynamothermal metamorphism from the greenschist to amphibolite facies. Maximum degree of dynamothermal metamorphism is seen in the Nughan bridge area. Also development of the mylonitic granites in the Nughan bridge area shows that dynamic metamorphism in this area was more intense than in other parts of the AligudarzKhonsar metapelitic zone. The chemical zoning of garnets shows three stages of growth and syn-tectonic formation. With ongoing metamorphism, staurolite appeared, and the rocks reached amphibolite facies, but the degree of metamorphism did not increase past the kyanite zone. Thus, metamorphism of the pelitic sediments occurred at the greenschist to amphibolite facies (kyanite zone). Thermodynamic studies of these rocks indicate that the metapelites in the Aligudarz-Khonsar region formed at 490–550°C and 0.47–5.6 kbar.  相似文献

Sedimentary biogenic silica from Redeyef in Gafsa basin (southern Tunisia) was analysed for its 29Si and 27Al magic angle spinning nuclear magnetic resonance (MAS NMR) spectra and complemented by X-ray diffraction and SEM observations. The 29Si MAS NMR spectrum is characterized by the abundance of hydroxylated silicon, displayed in resonance intensities and reflects a clear tendency towards dissolution of diatomaceous amorphous silica and the occurrence of the hydrated silica, which is the main component that ensures the diagenetic transition via the mechanism of dissolution–precipitation to other more crystalline silica phases, after the lost of its hydroxyls groups (water) by heating (burial). 27Al MAS NMR reveals two coordinations of Al; the octahedrally coordinated Al suggests the presence of clay relics trapped during crystal growth or a microcrystalline zeolite (clinoptilolite detected by SEM observations), while the tetrahedrally coordinated Al suggests the presence of minor quantities of minerals with tetrahedral Al, such as an Al-rich fluid and/or minerals such as feldspars.  相似文献
