A filament eruption, accompanied by a B9.5 flare, coronal dimming, and an EUV wave, was observed by the Solar TERrestrial Relations Observatory (STEREO) on 19 May 2007, beginning at about 13:00 UT. Here, we use observations from the SECCHI/EUVI telescopes and other solar observations to analyze the behavior and geometry of the filament before and during the eruption. At this time, STEREO A and B were separated by about 8.5°, sufficient to determine the three-dimensional structure of the filament using stereoscopy. The filament could be followed in SECCHI/EUVI 304 Å stereoscopic data from about 12 hours before to about 2 hours after the eruption, allowing us to determine the 3D trajectory of the erupting filament. From the 3D reconstructions of the filament and the chromospheric ribbons in the early stage of the eruption, simultaneous heating of both the rising filamentary material and the chromosphere directly below is observed, consistent with an eruption resulting from magnetic reconnection below the filament. Comparisons of the filament during eruption in 304 Å and Hα? show that when it becomes emissive in He II, it tends to disappear in Hα?, indicating that the disappearance probably results from heating or motion, not loss, of filamentary material. 相似文献

The 3+1 spacetime split is used in a preliminary investigation of waves propagating in a medium of isothermal plasma in the vicinity of event horizon of Reissner-Nordström planar analogue. The general relativistic magnetohydrodynamic equations for isothermal have been investigated there. The dispersion relations are obtained by using linear perturbation and Fourier analyze techniques for non-rotating and rotating, non-magnetized and magnetized environment. This work deals with the structure of the lunar Weak Stability Boundaries (WSB) in the framework of the restricted three and
four body problem. Geometry and properties of the escape trajectories have been studied by changing the spacecraft orbital
parameters around the Moon. Results obtained using the algorithm definition of the WSB have been compared with an analytical
approximation based on the value of the Jacobi constant. Planar and three-dimensional cases have been studied in both three
and four body models and the effects on the WSB structure, due to the presence of the gravitational force of the Sun and the
Moon orbital eccentricity, have been investigated. The study of the dynamical evolution of the spacecraft after lunar capture
allowed us to find regions of the WSB corresponding to stable and safe orbits, that is orbits that will not impact onto lunar
surface after capture. By using a bicircular four body model, then, it has been possible to study low-energy transfer trajectories
and results are given in terms of eccentricity, pericenter altitude and inclination of the capture orbit. Equatorial and polar
capture orbits have been compared and differences in terms of energy between these two kinds of orbits are shown. Finally,
the knowledge of the WSB geometry permitted us to modify the design of the low-energy capture trajectories in order to reach
stable capture, which allows orbit circularization using low-thrust propulsion systems. 相似文献

We study a massive cosmic strings with BII symmetries cosmological models in two contexts. The first of them is the standard
one with a barotropic equation of state. In the second one we explore the possibility of taking into account variable “constants”
(G and Λ). Both models are studied under the self-similar hypothesis. We put special emphasis in calculating the numerical values
for the equations of state. We find that for ω∈(0,1], G, is a growing time function while Λ, behaves as positive decreasing time function. If ω=0, both “constants”, G and Λ, behave as true constants. 相似文献

A five dimensional Kaluza-Klein dark energy model with variable EoS parameter is investigated in the scale co-variant theory of gravitation proposed by Canuto et al. (in Phys. Rev. 39:429, 1977) in a five dimensional Kaluza-Klein space-time in the presence of perfect fluid source. Using the special law of variation for Hubble’s parameter proposed by Berman (in Nuovo Cimento B 74:183, 1983), we have obtained a determinate solution which represents a dark energy cosmological model in the theory. We have also used the result that the scalar expansion is proportional to shear scalar of the space-time. It is observed that the EoS parameter, skewness parameter in the model turn out to be functions of cosmic time. Some physical and Kinematical properties of the model are also discussed. 相似文献

Multiple-beam observations of solar flares at submillimeter wavelengths need detection with at least four beams to derive the flux density $\mbox{$F$} $ of the emitting source, its size, and centroid position. When this condition is not fulfilled, the assumptions on the location and/or size of the emitting source have to be made in order to compute $\mbox{$F$}$ . Otherwise, only a flux density range $\mbox{$\Delta F$}$ can be estimated. We report on simultaneous flare observations at 212 and 210 GHz obtained by the Solar Submillimeter Telescope (SST) and the Bernese Multibeam Radiometer for Kosma (BEMRAK), respectively, during two solar events on 28 October 2003. For both events, BEMRAK utilized four beam information to calculate the source flux density F 210, its size and position. On the other hand, the SST observed the events with only one beam, at low solar elevation angles and during high atmospheric attenuation. Therefore, because of these poor observing conditions at 212 GHz, only a flux density range ΔF 212 could be estimated. The results show that ΔF 212 is within a factor of 2.5 of the flux density F 210. This factor can be significantly reduced (e.g. 1.4 for one of the studied events) by an appropriate choice of the 212 GHz source position using flare observations at other wavelengths. By adopting the position and size of the 210 GHz source measured by BEMRAK, the flux density at 212 GHz, F 212b, is comparable to F 210 within the uncertainties, as expected. Therefore our findings indicate that even during poor observing conditions, the SST can provide an acceptable estimate of the flux density at 212 GHz. This is a remarkable fact since the SST and BEMRAK use quite different procedures for calibration and flux density determination. We also show that the necessary assumptions made on the size of the emitting source at 212 GHz in order to estimate its flux density are not critical, and therefore do not affect the conclusions of previous studies at this frequency. 相似文献

An approximate solution of the encounter problem of two small satellites describing initially elliptical orbits around a massive oblate primary is obtained. The equations of motion of the center of mass of the two masses are developed in the most general form without any restrictions on the orbital elements. The method of multiple scales which seeks a solution whose behavior depends on several time scales is used. To overcome the singularity the equations of motion are transformed to the Struble variables. An analytical second order theory of the evolution dynamics is obtained. A MATHEMATICA program is constructed. The evolution dynamics of the orbital parameters between the perturbed and the unperturbed cases are plotted. From the approximately volume-limited Luminous Red Galaxy (LRG) sample of the Sloan Digital Sky Survey Data Release 6 (SDSS
DR6), we construct three LRG samples with different g-r color, which have the nearly same number density, to investigate the
color dependence of clustering properties of LRGs. It is found that the blue galaxies have a more filamentary distribution
than red galaxies, and that the bluest LRGs preferentially inhabit the dense groups and clusters. But in three LRG samples
with different u-g color, we do not observe the tendency for clustering properties of LRGs to significantly change with color.
We preferentially conclude that the clustering properties of LRGs are not strongly correlated with colors. 相似文献
