Zusammenfassung In der Gipslagerstätte Wienern am Grundlsee wurden pumpellyitführende Kissenlavabreccien nachgewiesen. Die in das permische Salinarbecken extrudierten Laven zeigen mehrphasige Veränderungen in Form von Mineralneubildungen. In den basischen Eruptivgesteinen sind dies vor allem Chlorit, Pumpellyit, Phengit, Kalifeldspat und seltener Biotit.

Pumpellyite-bearing pillow-lava breccias from the gypsum-anhydrite-deposit of Wienern, Styria, Austria
Summary Pumpellyite bearing pillow-lava-breccias have been observed in the gypsum-anhydrite mine of Wienern, Grundlsee, Styria. During Permian times, lava extruded into saline environment. The observed alteration of pillow-breccias is due to metamorphism of very lowPT regime. The newly formed minerals are chlorite, pumpellyite, phengite and potassium feldspar. Occasionally biotite was observed near ironrich ore minerals (pyrite).

Piton de la Fournaise, on the island of La Réunion, and Kilauea volcano, on the island of Hawaii, are active, basaltic shield volcanoes growing on the flanks of much larger shield volcanoes in intraplate tectonic environments. Past studies have shown that the average rate of magma production and the chemistry of lavas are quite similar for both volcanoes. We propose a structural similarity — specifically, that periodic displacement of parts of the shields as huge landslide blocks is a common mode of growth. In each instance, the unstable blocks are within a rift-zone-bounded, unbuttressed flank of the shield. At Kilauea, well-documented landslide blocks form relatively surficial parts of a much larger rift-zone-bounded block; scarps of the Hilina fault system mark the headwalls of the active blocks. At Fournaise, Hilina-like slump blocks are also present along the unbuttressed east coast of the volcano. In addition, however, the existence of a set of faults nested around the present caldera and northeast and southeast rift zones suggests that past chapters in the history of Fournaise included the slumping of entire rift-zone-bounded blocks themselves. These nested faults become younger to the east southeast and apparently record one of the effects of a migration of the focus of volcanism in that direction. Repeated dilation along the present set of northeast and southeast rift zones, most recently exemplified by an eruption in 1977, suggests that the past history of rift-zone-bounded slumping will eventually be repeated. The record provided by the succession of slump blocks on Fournaise is apparently at a relatively detailed part of a migration of magmatic focus that has advanced at least 30 km to the east-southeast from neighboring Piton des Neiges, an extinct Pliocene to Pleistocene volcano. 相似文献

The high-grade assemblage Cd-Ga-Si-Qz can be thermodynamically modelled from available calorimetric data on the metastable reaction: (I) $$3 MgCd \rightleftarrows 2 Py + 4 Si + 5 Qz$$ naturalK D Fe-Mg between garnet and cordierite and experimental results on cordierite hydration. In the system SiO2-Al2O3-MgO-H2O, reaction (I) becomes (II) $$3 MgCd \cdot nH_2 O \rightleftarrows 2 Py + 4 Si + 5 Qz + 3 nH_2 O$$ . However, hydrous cordierite is neither a hydrate nor a solid solution between water and anhydrous cordierite and when nH2O (number of moles of H2O in Cd) is plotted against \(P_{H_2 O} \) , the resulting isotherms are similar to adsorption isotherms characteristic of zeolitic minerals. Reaction (II) can thus be considered as a combination of reaction (I) with a physical equilibrium of the type nH2O (in Cd)?nH2O (in vapor phase). Starting from a point on equilibrium (I), introduction of H2O into anhydrous Mg-cordierite lowers the chemical potential of MgCd and hence stabilizes this mineral to higher pressure relative to the right-hand assemblage in reaction (I). The pressure increment of stabilization,ΔP, above the pressure limit of anhydrous cordierite stability at constantT, has been calculated using the standard thermodynamics of adsorption isotherms. Cordierite is regarded as a mixture of Mg2Al4Si5O18 and H2O. The activity of H2O in the cordierite is evaluated relative to an hypothetical standard state extrapolated from infinite H2O dilution, by using measured hydration data. The activity of Mg2Al4Si5O18 in the cordierite is then obtained by integration of the Gibbs-Duhem equation, and the pressure stabilization increment,ΔP, computed by means of the relation: $$\Delta V_s \Delta P \cong - RT\ln a_{MgCd}^{MgCd \cdot nH2O} \left( {\Delta V indepentdent of P and T} \right)$$ . Thus, one may contour theP-T plane in isopleths of nH2O=constant within the area of Mg-cordierite stability allowed by the hydration data for \(P_{H_2 O} = P_{total} \) . The present model indicates greater stabilization of cordierite by H2O than the model of Newton and Wood (1979) and the calculated curve for metastable breakdown of hydrous MgCd is consistent with experimental data on cordierite breakdown at \(P_{H_2 O} = P_{total} \) . Mg/(Mg+Fe) isopleths have been derived for cordierites of varying nH2O in the SiO2-Al2O3-MgO-FeO-H2O system using the additional assumptions that (Fe, Mg) cordierite and (Fe, Mg) garnet behave as ideal solutions, and that typical values of the distribution coefficient of Fe and Mg between coexisting garnet and cordierite observed in natural parageneses can be applied to the calculations. The calculated stable breakdown curve of Fe-cordierite under conditions of \(P_{H_2 O} = P_{total} \) to almandine, sillimanite, quartz and vapor has a positive slope (dP/dT) apparently in contrast to the experimental negative slope. This may be explained by hydration kinetics, which could have allowed systematic breakdown of cordierites of metastable hydration states in the experiments. The bivariant Cd-Ga fields calibrated from the present model are, potentially, good petrogenetic indicators, as, given the iron-magnesium ratio of garnet and cordierite and the hydration number of cordierite, the temperature, pressure and water fugacity are uniquely determined. As this geothermobarometer is in part based on the water content of cordierite, it can be used only if there is some assurance that the actual hydration is inherited from high-grade metamorphic conditions. Such conditions could be realised if the slope of unloading-cooling retrograde metamorphism is more or less parallel to a cordierite isohydron. 相似文献

We report here on high angular resolution observations of solar noise storm sources at a frequency of 75 MHz. The data for the study were obtained at the Gauribidanur Radio Observatory (long.: 77°2612 E, lat.: 13°3612 N) about 100 km north of Bangalore, India, during the solar eclipse of 24 October 1995. Our main conclusion is that there are structures of angular size 2.5 arc min in the outer solar corona. 相似文献

The orbits of 13 Trojan asteroids have been calculated numerically in the model of the outer solar system for a time interval
of 100 million years. For these asteroids Milani et al. (1997) determined Lyapunov times less than 100 000 years and introduced
the notion "asteroids in stable chaotic motion". We studied the dynamical behavior of these Trojan asteroids (except the asteroid
Thersites which escaped after 26 million years) within 11 time intervals - i.e. subintervals of the whole time - by means
of: (1) a numerical frequency analysis (2) the root mean square (r.m.s.) of the orbital elements and (3) the proper elements.
For each time interval we compared the root mean squares of the orbital elements (a, e and i) with the corresponding proper
element. It turned out that the variations of the proper elements ep in the different time intervals are correlated with the corresponding r.m.s.(e); this is not the case for sin Ip with r.m.s.(i).

Romania's climatic and hydrographical characteristics are due to its position in east central Europe and to the Carpathian arc at its centre. The influence of baric centres, the subtropical Azores anticyclone and the Siberian anticyclone, is to be noticed in climatic parameters in all seasons. In its turn, the Carpathian arc brings about vertical variation and an obvious gradation in the distribution of temperature, precipitation drainage and other geographical features (soils, vegetation, fauna, etc.).On the background of these characteristics of general circulation and local relief, the climate and the hydrography show differently various aspects: humid in the west, south-Mediterranean in the south-west and continental in the south and east. The hydrographic net is affected by the Carpathian arc which causes all morphometric and hydrologic particularities, and is almost completely collected by the Danube. The synopsis of climatic and hydrogeographical regions reflects the conditions of the continental temperate zone in which Romania lies. 相似文献

Lineament intersections of the humid and semi-arid climates are described, analyzed and compared as much for their occurrences and patterns exhibited as for their relationship to mineralization. For each environment, the mineralized intersections are compared with each other first, then compared with barren intersections. While lineament intersections in a humid climate are quite complex, being formed by an aggregation of several “sub-intersections” (with a mine that may occur within several kilometers from one of these secondary centers), the intersections in the semiarid climate were until this time considered to be rather simple and very sharply marked in the field (with a deposit that may occur from 0 to 1 kilometer at the most from a center). This observation remains valid but the apparent contradiction resolves itself when it is accepted, from experience gained in the humid environment, that the axes of the very broad sandy valleys of the semi-arid country without any doubt must represent lineaments of major importance. It results that intersections of such lineaments have been buried for millions of years, leaving only those intersections of lesser importance still visible now on the eroded mountains. Mining deposits in this environment must therefore be considered as occurring around and very close to lineament intersections of a secondary or third order represented most of the time by well-marked faults. A revision of the lineament theories in the semi-arid climate is in order prior to any further interpretation. A mining exploration technique in the humid environment can tentatively be presented by the fact that the elements of lineament structure are so much more easily detected than in the semi-arid environment. 相似文献

The precambrian postorogenic pluton of the Fort-Trinquet area (Northern Mauretania) is composed by a series of granitic rocks in which amphiboles are the characteristic mafic minerals. Twenty six amphiboles have been separated and chemically analysed; the optical properties and the unit-cell data are also given.The crystallographic and chemical differences between these minerals reflect the variations in bulk composition of the host-rocks. In the plutonic suite, two igneous trends have been recognized: 1) a granitic trend (quartz monzonite-adamellite-granite) and 2) a syenitic trend (syenite-quartz bearing syenite-alkali granite). The amphiboles of the first trend belong to the tremolite-hastingsite series; they become richer in hastingsite mole with increasing proportion of quartz and decreasing Mg/(Mg+Fe) ratio in the rocks. The granitoids of the second trend are characterized by the occurrence of two amphiboles: a primary prismatic green-coloured actinolitic hornblende generally surrounded by a dark blue rim of riebeckite composition; the riebeckite may also form some acicular crystals associated to needles of stilpnomelane. These coexisting amphiboles would result from autometasomatic reactions which affected the rocks of the syenitic trend and which gave rise to the late alkali pegmatites where the constituent is a low arfvedsonitic riebeckite. The major substitutions involved in that amphibole transformation are Nax R3+Cax R2+ and NaxSiCaxAlIV.Comparison with experimental data allows to estimate the physical conditions during the emplacement and the tardimagmatic evolution of this granitoid series. 相似文献

Résumé L'étude minéragraphique et autoradiographique du charbon du Schaentzel montre le caractère surimposé de la minéralisation d'uranium, son mode d'introduction et de fixation. On a observé une très faible activité du charbon dépourvu d'inclusions ou de fissures, ainsi qu'une relation entre l'augmentation locale de la réflectivité et la quantité d'uranium.
Mineragraphic and autoradiographic study of the Schaentzel coal shows the superposed character of the uranium mineralization and its mode of introduction and fixation. One observes a very low activity of coal, devoid of inclusions or fractures, and a relationship between the local increase of reflectivity and quantity of uranium.
Zusammenfassung Eine erzmikroskopische und Kernemulsionsplatte Untersuchung der Schaentzel Kohle zeigt den sekundären Charakter der Uranvererzung, die Art ihrer Zufuhr und Ablagerung. Es konnte eine sehr schwache Aktivität der Einschluß- bzw. spaltfreien Kohle, sowie eine Beziehung zwischen den örtlichen Ansteigen des Reflexionsvermögen und der Uranmenge beobachtet werden.
