On the basis of shallow water equations, a 2-dimensional model for the wind-driven current is developed in this paper to simulate the mean wind-driven circulation and sea-surface elevation fields respectively in winter and summer, and to describe the general nature of the wind-driven current in the Bohai Sea.Numerical results show that the patterns of the wind-driven circulation in Bohai are mainly the cyclonic circulation in winter and both cyclonic and anticyclonic circulations in summer. A theoretical argument based on vorticity is put up to explain the generating-mechanism of large eddies near the strait, which are considered to be the direct results of the wind stress interaction with topography gradients. 相似文献

In this study, the outgoing longwave radiation (OLR) data of eight years have been used to investigate the annual and interannual variations of large-scale circulation over the tropics. The results of EOF analysis indicate that the first three eigenvectors reflect the essential features in OLR annual variation. However, they contribute little to the interannual change. In comparison, the fourth to the sixth components have very large year-to-year variations. The pronounced anomalies are located over the tropics with east-west dipole pattern. It implies that ENSO events are related closely to the variation of the Walker circulation. 相似文献

由我国北方的寒潮或冷空气所引起的渤海风潮,按文献的分析,该属于“超浅海风暴潮”类型.以渤海风潮为例,按超浅海风暴潮理论进行数值计算,不仅对该理论是一有力的检验,且对探讨渤海风潮的机制和预报也是一个有益的参考. 将冷锋所造成的大风风场重现在计算网格上,在现场海面风资料极度贫乏的情况下,显然是一较难的课题.本文仅就发生渤海风潮时,渤海上空风场的几个主要力学特征,设计了几个理论模式风应力场,对渤海风潮进行了数值计算,以期获得全过程概貌及主要特征.计算结果达到了这一预期目的. 相似文献

本文报道了胶州湾表层海水及C_3和D_3站中层和底层水中的颗粒有机碳(POC)的分布与变化规律。结果表明,胶州湾POC年平均浓度为155~410μg/L;平面分布有明显的规律性,近岸和河口一带的含量较高,湾中部较低,湾口诸站为最低;垂直分布有个别数值偏高或偏低现象,但没有明显的规律;季节变化较明显,初春较高,秋季较低。 相似文献

- This paper deals with species composition, seasonal change and horizontal distribution of the Hydromedusae (Hyd.), Siphonophores (Sip.) and Ctenophores (Cte.) and their relationship to the environmental factors. Materials from 17 stations in the Xiamen Harbour and adjacent waters were taken once monthly for the period from Sep. 1980 to Aug. 1981. The results indicate that for the dominant species of Phialidium folleatum, Lensia subtiloides and Pleurobrachia globosa , the total annual number of species has one peak and the total annual number of individual has one peak and two secondary peaks. On the basis of their ecological characteristice, the Hydromedusae, Siphonophores and Ctenophores found in the region investigated may be divided into the following ecological groups: estuarine group, neritic group and oceanic group. -The tectonic types of the Zhujiang (Pearl) River Mouth Basin in the South China Sea are epicontinental rift-depression basins. Prior to Early Cretaceous time, the Dongsha Uplift arid its surrounding depressions had been combined with the Eurasia Plate in a single unit. Many ENE-trending narrow rifted basins were formed in the third episode of Yanshan orogeny (Late Laramide). The rifted basins in the Paleocene and Eocene were stretched and extended, forming Zhu 1, Zhu 2 and Zhu 3 depressions. The Dongsha Uplift is located between Zhu 1 and Zhu 2 depressions . covering an area of 28 000 Km2. Its geologic evolution can be divided into four stages:(1) Late Cretaceous - Paleocene block-faulting stage.(2) Eocene -Oligocene uplifting and eroding stage.(3) Late Oligocene - Early Miocene sustained subsiding stage.(4) Middle Miocene -Recent noncompensated subsiding stage.The Dongsha Uplift is a structural zone favourable for oil-gas accumulation. 相似文献
