Introduction of species evolutionary sequence into the quantitative biostratigraphy is a significant work, either for studying
biologic evolution or for making stratigraphic correlation and reconstructing geologic history. The quantitative biostratigraphy
is to determine biostratigraphic event sequences by using probabilistic analysis. The evolutionary sequence systematics can
efficiently ascertain species evolutionary sequences. Two methods have been proposed to determine the sequence of species-disappearance
events: (1) species extinction events can be closed by last occurrence events using quantitative biostratigraphic analysis;
(2) the duration of a species may be approximately replaced by the duration of its parent species. To combine these two methods
for determining the sequence of species disappearance is the best way up to now. A consulting standard sequence that consists
of the speciation sequence of Permian waagenophylloid corals and the biostratigraphic event sequence of other important fossils
in Permian is used as an example. The group spearman rank-correlation test is used to test the consulting standard sequence
by comparing four types of calculations and two kinds of sequences and to find abnormal events. Based on the found abnormal
events in the test, the consulting standard sequence is revised to deal with different conditions. Sequences of speciation
and species-disappearance, and species duration are determined. Application of species evolutionary sequence to quantitative
biostratigraphy can largely improve the quality of biostratigraphic event sequence. In stratigraphic correlation, furthermore,

In this paper, the baseline variation and displacement vector was analyzed using the calculated results of GPS measurements carried out from 1995 to 1996 in North China. Based on these analytical results, we studied the recent tectonic activity. In general, the regional extension is dominant in the direction of proximately EW, but there is a difference in the SN direction. Extension is significant in the Shanxi fault-depression zone and Bohai region, while compression with strike-slip is characterized along the Yishui-Tancheng segment of the Tanlu fault zone. The baseline shortening zone is distributed along the Baotou-Zhangjiakou-Ninghe areas. It is a boundary zone of regional variation where many differences of crustal horizontal deformation are discovered between the southern part and the northern part of this zone. The baseline shortening zone in NE direction is distributed along the Jianchang-Tangshan-Gucheng area. It is consistent with the Tangshan-Xingtai seismic zone which indicates that tectoni 相似文献

In this study, we used the multi-resolution graph-based clustering (MRGC) method for determining the electrofacies (EF) and lithofacies (LF) from well log data obtained from the intraplatform bank gas fields located in the Amu Darya Basin. The MRGC could automatically determine the optimal number of clusters without prior knowledge about the structure or cluster numbers of the analyzed data set and allowed the users to control the level of detail actually needed to define the EF. Based on the LF identification and successful EF calibration using core data, an MRGC EF partition model including five clusters and a quantitative LF interpretation chart were constructed. The EF clusters 1 to 5 were interpreted as lagoon, anhydrite flat, interbank, low-energy bank, and high-energy bank, and the coincidence rate in the cored interval could reach 85%. We concluded that the MRGC could be accurately applied to predict the LF in non-cored but logged wells. Therefore, continuous EF clusters were partitioned and corresponding LF were interpreted, and the distribution and petrophysical characteristics of different LF were analyzed in the framework of sequence stratigraphy. 相似文献

Remote sensing based land cover mapping at large scale is time consuming when using either supervised or unsupervised classification approaches. This article used a fast clustering method—Clustering by Eigen Space Transformation(CBEST) to produce a land cover map for China. Firstly, 508 Landsat TM scenes were collected and processed. Then, TM images were clustered by combining CBEST and K-means in each pre-defined ecological zone(50 in total for China). Finally, the obtained clusters were visually interpreted as land cover types to complete a land cover map. Accuracy evaluation using 2159 test samples indicates an overall accuracy of 71.7% and a Kappa coefficient of 0.64. Comparisons with two global land cover products(i.e., Finer Resolution Observation and Monitoring of Global Land Cover(FROM-GLC) and GlobCover 2009) also indicate that our land cover result using CBEST is superior in both land cover area estimation and visual effect for different land cover types. 相似文献
