法国是世界测绘强国之一。法国国家测绘局（IGN）是法国测绘的领导机构。本文介绍了IGN的概况，并对IGN大地测量、地图制图、对外服务、研究机构等情况作了较详细的描述。在此基础上对IGN的未来发展特点提出了几点看法。

本文主要讨论了利用空间投影一空间斜墨卡托（SOM）投影进行卫星遥感图像精纠正与定位，解决缺少控制点地区卫星遥感图像精纠正与定位问题，并根据正反算公式讨论了卫星遥感图像纠正的空间投影数学基础。     

A new method for indentifying the model error of adjustment system

Some theory problems affecting parameter estimation are discussed in this paper. Influence and transformation between errors of stochastic and functional models is pointed out as well. For choosing the best adjustment model, a formula, which is different from the literatures existing methods, for estimating and identifying the model error, is proposed. On the basis of the proposed formula, an effective approach of selecting the best model of adjustment system is given. FORMOSAT-3/COSMIC science mission update

The FORMOSAT-3/COSMIC mission is a microsatellite mission for weather forecast, climate monitoring, and atmospheric, ionospheric and geodesy research. This mission is a collaborative Taiwan-USA science experiment to deploy a constellation of six microsatellites in low Earth orbits. The mission life is 2 years with a goal of 5 years. The final mission orbit has an altitude of 750–800 km. Each satellite consists of three science payloads: global positioning system (GPS) occultation experiment (GOX) payload, tiny ionospheric photometer (TIP) and tri-band beacon (TBB). The GOX will collect the GPS signals for the study on atmosphere, ionosphere, and geodesy. The TIP and TBB can provide the electron distribution information for ionospheric research. The deployment of the FORMOSAT-3 constellation and the resulting influence on the occultation sounding distributions are reported. Details are also given on GOX, TIP, and TBB payload operations and the contributions of the Taiwan Science Team.
