Field investigations following the 2008 Ms8.0 Wenchuan earthquake identified 118 liquefaction sites, most of which are underlain by gravelly sediment in the Chengdu Plain and adjacent Mianyang area, in the Sichuan Province. Gravel sediment in the Sichuan province is widely distributed; hence it is necessary to develop a method for prediction and evaluation of gravel liquefaction behavior. Based on liquefaction investigation data and in-situ testing, and with reference to existing procedures for sandy soil liquefaction evaluation, a fundamental procedure for gravel liquefaction evaluation using dynamic penetration tests (DPT) is proposed along with a corresponding model and calculation formula. The procedure contains two stages, i.e., pre-determination and re-determination. Pre-determination excludes impossible liquefiable or non-liquefiable soils, and re-determination explores a DPT-based critical N120 blows calculation model. Pre-determination includes three criteria, i.e., geological age, gravel contents, gravel sediment depths and water tables. The re-determination model consists of five parameters, i.e., DPT reference values, gravel contents, gravel sediment depths, water tables and seismic intensities. A normalization method is used for DPT reference values and an optimization method is used for the gravel sediment depth coefficient and water table coefficient. In order to further improve the seismic performance of RC shear walls, a new composite shear wall with concrete filled steel
tube (CFT) columns and concealed steel trusses is proposed. This new shear wall is a double composite shear wall; the first
composite being the use of three different force systems, CFT, steel truss and shear wall, and the second the use of two different
materials, steel and concrete. Three 1/5 scaled experimental specimens: a traditional RC shear wall, a shear wall with CFT
columns, and a shear wall with CFT columns and concealed steel trusses, were tested under cyclic loading and the seismic performance
indices of the shear walls were comparatively analyzed. Based on the data from these experiments, a thorough elastic-plastic
finite element analysis and parametric analysis of the new shear walls were carried out using ABAQUS software. The finite
element results of deformation, stress distribution, and the evolution of cracks in each phase were compared with the experimental
results and showed good agreement. A mechanical model was also established for calculating the load-carrying capacity of the
new composite shear walls. The results show that this new type of shear wall has improved seismic performance over the other

利用延安城市站与延长农村站1969—2008年气温资料,分析了热岛效应对延安气温的影响。结果表明:延安城市发展对年平均气温的影响可分为三个阶段,1992年以前,延安站温度未受影响,1993—2002年,城市影响较轻,年平均气温的热岛效应增温贡献率为38.1%,2003年以后,热岛效应明显,增温在1℃以上,与大城市的热岛增温接近。热岛效应增温对四季温度的影响基本一致,热岛效应增温与自然增温贡献率相等。城市热岛效应对最低气温的影响开始时间早,影响程度高,对年平均最高气温基本无影响。受热岛效应影响,不但提高了城市的温度同时也改变城市的增温率,使得城市气温增温率加大。 相似文献

With a growing interest in small 17O-anomaly, there is a pressing need for the precise ratio, ln17α/ln18α, for a particular mass-dependent fractionation process (MDFP) (e.g., for an equilibrium isotope exchange reaction). This ratio (also denoted as “θ”) can be determined experimentally, however, such efforts suffer from the demand of well-defined process or a set of processes in addition to high precision analytical capabilities. Here, we present a theoretical approach from which high-precision ratios for MDFPs can be obtained. This approach will complement and serve as a benchmark for experimental studies. We use oxygen isotope exchanges in equilibrium processes as an example.We propose that the ratio at equilibrium, θE ≡ ln17α/ln18α, can be calculated through the equation below:

Regional land use changes are an important part of global changes. The research on land use changes in the Three Gorges Reservoir
Area of China attracts a lot of attention owing to the Three Gorges Dam building. The Three Gorges Reservoir Area becomes
one of the important research areas. This study analyzed the transforming processes and traits of each land use type and the
regional differences of land use changes during the past 30 years, summarized the distribution of different land use types
in different buffer zones and regresses the equation areas and different buffer distances based on buffer analyses and regression
analyses, and then analyzed the transforming rules in different buffer distances, got the optimal influence distances. The
research results indicate that, (1) cultivated land lies at the northwest of the reservoir and was decreasing, however, the
construction land was increasing, especially the urban construction land, a large number of land was flooded because of the
reservoir water level rise; (2) urban area was sprawling quickly in developed and neighboring areas, and a great deal of cultivated
land and a considerable amount of grassland were occupied; in the earlier time, rural settlements occupied lots of cultivated
land and a sum of forestry land in the later time; (3) the optimum influenced distances for cultivated land and forestry land
were 10–35 km, and for urban and rural settlements were in 5–20 km. Overall, this research can reflect the spatial-temporal
characteristics of land use changes during the 30 years, and it is helpful for urban planning and land use planning in the
