This paper describes the simulation of the flow of a viscous incompressible Newtonian liquid with a free surface. The Navier–Stokes equations are formulated using a streamline upwind Petrov–Galerkin scheme, and solved on a Q-tree-based finite element mesh that adapts to the moving free surface of the liquid. Special attention is given to fitting the mesh correctly to the free surface and solid wall boundaries. Fully non-linear free surface boundary conditions are implemented. Test cases include sloshing free surface motions in a rectangular tank and progressive waves over submerged cylinders. 相似文献

The reservoirs of the Upper Triassic Xujiahe Formation in Sichuan Basin have the characteristics of low compositional maturity, low contents of cements and medium textural maturity. The general physical properties of the reservoirs are poor, with low porosity and low permeability, and there are only a few reservoirs with medium porosity and low permeability in local areas. Based on the diagenetic mineral association, a diagenetic sequence of cements is established: early calcites (or micrite siderites) →first quartz overgrowth→chlorite coatings→dissolution of feldspars and debris→chlorite linings→ second quartz overgrowth (quartz widen or filled in remain intergranular pores and solution pores)→dissolution→third quartz overgrowth (quartz filled in intergranular and intragranular solution pores)→intergrowth (ferro) calcites→dolomites→ferro (calcites) dolomites→later dissolution→veins of quartz and calcites formation. Mechanical compaction is the main factor in making the reservoirs tight in the basin, followed by the second and third quartz overgrowth. In a long-term closed system, only feld-spars and some lithic fragments are dissolved by diagenetic fluids, while intergranular cements such as quartz and calcit are not dissolved and thus have little influence on the porosity of the Xujiahe Formation. This is the third factor that may have kept the sandstones of Xujiahe Formation tight finally. The hydrocarbon was extensively generated from organic materials after the second quartz overgrowth, and selectively entered favorable reservoirs to form tight sandstone gas reservoirs. 相似文献

Precise measurements of neutron star(NS) velocities provide critical clues in regard to the supernova physics and evolution of binary systems. Based on Gaia Data Release 2(DR2), we selected a sample of 24 young( 3 Myr) pulsars with precise parallax measurements and measured the velocity of their local standard of rest(LSR) and the velocity dispersion among their respective local stellar groups. The median velocity difference between thus calculated LSRs and the Galactic rotation model is ~ 7.6 km s~(-1),small compared to the typical velocity dispersion of ~ 27.5 km s~(-1). For pulsars off the Galactic plane,such differences grow significantly to as large as ~ 40 km s~(-1). More importantly, the velocity dispersion of stars in the local group of low-velocity pulsars can be comparable to their transverse velocities, suggesting that the intrinsic velocities of NS progenitors should be taken into account when we consider their natal kicks and binary evolution. We also examined the double NS system J0737-3039 A/B, and measured its transverse velocity to be 26_(-13)~(+18) km s~(-1) assuming nearby Gaia sources are representative of their birth environment. The wave rays and their seasonal variation of stationary and low-frequency Rossby waves are studied by using the Runge—Kutta
scheme. The results show that for stationary waves the rays can reach lower latitudes in winter, and are limited in higher
latitudes in summer. The main differences between the stationary and low-frequency wave rays are that low—frequency waves
can propagate across the equator and the easterlies will not be an obstacle on their propagation. It explained to some extent
the interaction of disturbances between the Northern and Southern Hemispheres. The lower wave frequencies and the stronger
easterly flow are, the more difficult low—frequency waves will be to propagate across the equator. The waves with 20-day period
are easier to propagate across the equator than that with 50—day period. The winter is the most favorable season for low—frequency

The Loess Plateau in Northwestern China, with 60 million inhabitants, is strongly endangered by heavy erosion quickly decreasing soil fertility and yield of crops, causing also severe problems in the main river of the area, uplifting its bed by strong sedimentation. This situation is mainly due to improper land use, cutting woods, ploughing up grasslands which are the consequence of the decreasing yield of former plough lands. This vicious cycle may only be disrupted by a proper land management based on the newest results of scientific research, on up to date data bases as well as on traditional methods. The land melioration methods must primarily aim at a prevention of further erosion and at an increase of infiltration by different methods, but all means of a proper country planning and development should be harmonised in order of halting of further deterioration of the area. 相似文献
