Constraint on cosmological model with matter creation using complementary astronomical observations

The universe with adiabatic matter creation is considered. It is thought that the negative pressure caused by matter creation can play the role of a dark energy component, and drive the accelerating expansion of the universe. Using the Type Ia supernovae (SNe Ia) data, the observational Hubble parameter data, the Cosmic Microwave Background (CMB) data and the Baryonic Acoustic Oscillation (BAO) data, we make constraints on the cosmological parameters, assuming a spatially flat universe. Our results show that the model with matter creation is consistent with the SNe Ia data, while the joint constraints of all these observational data disfavor this model. If the cosmological constant is taken into account, a traditional model without matter creation is favored by the joint observations.     

广西南宁盆地早第三纪沉积相特征

本文论述了南宁盆地的地质构造背景和第三纪地层、沉积相、古地理演化特征,其中侧重对沉积相剖析认为:南宁盆地在中生代以来形成的NE、NW向两组断裂的“X”型构造背景条件下,受NEE、NNE向各两条断裂控制呈菱形状的第三纪陆相断陷盆地;沉积相以湖相为主,河流相、洪积相次之。前者可分为滨湖、浅湖、半深湖等3个亚相,尤以浅湖相发育,后二者仅在古新世至始新世早、中期发育并分布在湖盆边缘;盆地演化过程中始新世时曾一度上升遭受剥蚀,致使瓦窑村组与上覆地层呈不整合接触,由古新世→始新世末盆地中心由SW→NE迁移,盆地范围增大趋势。还指出南湖组与凤凰山组、古亭组是同期(始新世早、中期)异相产物,盆地内产褐煤、粘土与石英砂等矿产。     

Existence of periodically invariant curves in 3-dimensional measure-preserving mappings

With the aid of a normal form of a family of measure-preserving mappings in dimension 3, which is deduced in this paper, we prove that there are periodically invariant curves which survive the nonlinear perturbations in the generic case.     

一类ENSO事件与四川地区粮食产量的相关分析

本文对1949年以来出现的10次ENSO事件进行了分析,得出如下结果:开始於东太平洋增暖和中大平洋增暖的两类ENSO现象分别对应四川地区粮食产量的减产和增产。此结果对四川地区粮食生产政策的制定及产量的预测研究均有较重要的参考价值。     

Radio emission characteristics of Pulsars and their magnetic dipole angle

We have made a statistical analysis on the subpulse width, the mean pulse width and the rate of change of polarization angle in pulsars. We obtained a number of empirical relations showing how these radio emission characteristics are related to the magnetic inclination and discussed the physical implications of the relations.     

The greening of the McGill Paleoclimate Model. Part I: Improved land surface scheme with vegetation dynamics

The formulation of a new land surface scheme (LSS) with vegetation dynamics for coupling to the McGill Paleoclimate Model (MPM) is presented. This LSS has the following notable improvements over the old version: (1) parameterization of deciduous and evergreen trees by using the models climatology and the output of the dynamic global vegetation model, VECODE (Brovkin et al. in Ecological Modelling 101:251–261 (1997), Global Biogeochemical Cycles 16(4):1139, (2002)); (2) parameterization of tree leaf budburst and leaf drop by using the models climatology; (3) parameterization of the seasonal cycle of the grass leaf area index; (4) parameterization of the seasonal cycle of tree leaf area index by using the time-dependent growth of the leaves; (5) calculation of land surface albedo by using vegetation-related parameters, snow depth and the models climatology. The results show considerable improvement of the models simulation of the present-day climate as compared with that simulated in the original physically-based MPM. In particular, the strong seasonality of terrestrial vegetation and the associated land surface albedo variations are in good agreement with several satellite observations of these quantities. The application of this new version of the MPM (the green MPM) to Holocene millennial-scale climate changes is described in a companion paper, Part II.

Measurement of six degree-of-freedom ground motion by using eight accelerometers

A new integrated measuring system with eight force-balance accelerometers is proposed to obtain a direct measurement of six degree-of freedom （DOF） ground motions, including three rotational and three actual translational acceleration components without gyroscopes. In the proposed measuring system, the relationship between the output from eight force-balance accelerometer and the six DOF motion of the measuring system under an earthquake are described by differential equations. These equations are derived from the positions and directions of the eight force-balance accelerometers in the measuring system. The third-order Runge-Kutta algorithm is used to guarantee the accuracy of the numerical calculation. All the algorithms used to compute the six DOF components of the ground motion are implemented in a real-time in Digital Signal Processor （DSP）. The distortion of the measured results caused by position and direction errors of the accelerometers in the measuring system are reduced by multiplying a compensation coefficient C to the output and subtracting static zero drift from the measured results, respectively.     

黄河干流龙羊峡-寺沟峡段灾害地质遥感地质调查

1、龙羊峡库区的沙漠不是今天风力搬运的产物,它是第四纪初期形成的古沙岸。2、龙羊峡-寺沟峡段黄河两岸区的滑坡、崩塌共有210处,其中滑坡137处,崩滑42处,崩塌23处,未滑动危体8处,它们受断裂的控制;3、该区段较大和较严重的泥石流51处,其中极严重泥石流4处,较严重泥石流23处,中等程度泥石流24处,主要分布在贵德、尖扎、循化,共和四个盆地。
