改进的多视PolSAR非局部均值滤波算法

像素点间相似性度量是非局部均值滤波算法的关键所在。从信息论角度出发,提出了一种改进的多视Pol SAR非局部均值滤波方法。该算法在综合分析各类矩阵测度基础上,选定Kullback-Leibler距离作为最优相似度量,结合多视极化相干矩阵服从复Wishart分布,给出了极化相干矩阵的KL距离,并在预处理中应用了极化旋转。实验结果表明,改进方法能够在保持边缘细节的同时有效抑制相干斑。     

铁路功效运输联系空间差异化及区域整合效应

由于速度、票价、合理运距等技术经济特征的差异,高速铁路和普通铁路可以反映不同功效层级的空间运输联系,并对国土空间结构重塑产生影响。本文基于铁路列车时刻表数据,采用客流联系强度模型,研究了基于高铁与普铁服务的差异化空间级联系统秩序,比较了两者对功效空间的区域整合效应。研究结论为：相较普铁而言,高铁的空间布局与全国经济社会发展梯度格局更一致,距离衰减效应更显著,在600 km范围内最具优势;高铁与普铁优势城市分别集中在长江以南和以北,考虑旅客运输需求后显示普铁服务更为均衡。进一步分析发现,在技术经济优势、高铁与普铁竞争以及网络布局影响下,高铁功效空间区域整合呈现出显著的两极分化态势,以邻近区域集聚形态为主,普铁则形成了宏观尺度的南北向和东西向跨区域廊道集聚形态,二者对功效空间区域整合亦分别呈现出多中心等级化与多板块均衡化组织模式。     

新时期粤港澳大湾区的创新发展之路

面向新的国内外形势下粤港澳大湾区发展问题,从经济、社会、文化、制度等多个维度探讨了大湾区创新发展的内容、挑战和路径。文章认为粤港澳大湾区的创新发展需要加强科技和产业创新能力,提高应对外部冲击的区域韧性,增强区域内部要素的流动性,促进民生福祉水平提升,提高空间治理的能力,促进城乡融合发展,优化区域生态安全格局。需要从系统和联系的视角思考大湾区的创新发展,不仅寻求各个发展领域的革新,并且要促进各领域之间的耦合协调,使区域获得能不断突破瓶颈、消解外部冲击、解锁新发展路径的能动性。呼吁加强跨领域跨学科的交叉合作研究,为推动实现粤港澳大湾区的发展目标贡献地理学力量。

Mercury levels in feathers of Magellanic penguins

Feathers are useful to determine mercury (Hg) contamination. We evaluated the mercury concentration in feathers of Magellanic penguins (Spheniscus magellanicus) age 1.5 years to 25 years at Punta Tombo, Argentina before and during their molt. Mercury ranged between <1.4 and 367 ng/g dry weight, with three extreme high values (8996 ng/g, 3011 ng/g and 1340 ng/g) all in young adults. The median concentration was lowest for juveniles and significantly higher for adults but with high variation among older adults. Males and females had similar mercury loads. Compared with other penguin species, concentrations in Magellanic penguins were low. Mercury levels for Magellanic penguins in the Southwest Atlantic for older adults averaged 206±98 ng/g, and serve as a baseline for biomonitoring and/or ecotoxicological studies.     

Roles of financial innovation and information technology: Lessons from US sub-prime mortgage crisis and its implications for China

The mortgage loan has evolved from a local lending instrument into a major global security and its role is unparallel to other financial instruments in the process of financial globalization.This paper explains how technology and financial innovation transformed the mortgage loan from a local security into a premier global security traded worldwide.It examines the fundamental flaws of this process and why it does not work in regards to mortgage lending and the re-securitization products that were created through financial innovation.The findings show that regulation was unable to keep pace with financial innovation,which created an environment where actors in the financial service sector were able to behave geographically irresponsibly by using information asymmetries to their advantage by participating in moral hazard activities and engaging in other immoral and unethical business practices that were centered around localized geography,which ultimately contributed to the global financial crisis.It also examines the roll of financial innovation in regard to the Lehman Brothers Mini-Bond in Hong and its role as a driving force behind China’s newly emerging shadow banking sector.It concludes with a policy recommendation and its implication for China’s continued economic development.
