Data collected by monitoring suggest that the movement of mudslides essentially develops through alternating stages of undrained–drained deformation. Undrained conditions are established as a consequence of landslide mobilisation or reactivation. Every acceleration phase is followed by progressive deceleration associated with dissipation of excess pore pressure. This paper reports the results of some simple numerical analyses performed to investigate the role of pore pressure on mudslide behaviour.  相似文献

裂隙性粘土是一种具有特殊性质的粘土,这种粘土边坡的破坏是渐进性的,传统的极限平衡法无法描述分析它的破坏过程和机理,也无法精确地判断它的长期稳定性。用FLAC程序对裂隙性粘土边坡的渐进性破坏过程进行了描述,算例表明在一定程度上用FLAC程序来模拟边坡渐进破坏和进行稳定性判断是可行的。  相似文献

裂土的裂隙是影响其工程性质的重要因素。为研究土体裂隙在外界环境变化条件下的演化过程,设计了一套精确控制湿度的试验装置,再现了裂土在脱湿情况下裂隙产生、传播、扩展的过程。对试验结果进行了理论分析,总结了试验中裂土裂隙出现、传播、扩展的规律。研究结果有助于加深对土体裂隙变化物理过程的认识,为处理工程问题提供思路。  相似文献

A numerical compaction model of overpressuring in shales   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
A one-dimensional model of sediment compaction is presented to relate pressure, porosity, permeability, and fluid and solid-particle velocities in an evolving sedimentary basin. The burial history of a sedimentary package is followed and incorporated into rate models for diagenetic reactions to predict clay compositions with depth. The governing set of nonlinear, partial differential equations constitutes a moving boundary problem and is solved by a finite difference scheme. Sedimentation rates and a permeability-porosity function for shales are required to implement the model. Additional factors are incorporated to mimic the effect of increased fluid volume generated by dehydration from clay mineral transformations and by thermal expansion. We demonstrate that the major cause of overpressuring in sediments accumulating along passive margins is nonequilibrium compaction. Sedimentation rates and strata permeability are the most important geologic factors in the formation of overpressured zones. Smectite dehydration and aquathermal pressuring play secondary roles in the development and sustenance of overpressures.  相似文献

对采自扬子地区寒武系黄柏岭组、幕府山组和牛蹄塘组的泥页岩进行了甲烷吸附性能及影响因素研究。所分析页岩的TOC含量在1.08%~4.16%之间;粘土矿物含量在36.7%~62.3%之间。页岩样品甲烷吸附量测定结果显示,寒武系页岩甲烷最大理论吸附量与页岩TOC含量之间总体上呈正相关性,表明有机质丰度是控制页岩甲烷吸附能力的重要因素。而粘土矿物总含量与页岩甲烷最大理论吸附量之间缺乏相关性,仅蒙脱石含量与页岩甲烷最大理论吸附量呈正相关性,显示个别粘土矿物具有较强的甲烷吸附及影响页岩吸附性能的作用。寒武系不同地区页岩吸附性能存在显著差异,遵义牛蹄塘组页岩甲烷最大理论吸附量在2.76~5.30mL/g之间;南京幕府山组页岩甲烷最大理论吸附量在1.36~4.35mL/g之间;池州黄柏岭组泥页岩甲烷最大理论吸附量在1.63~2.72mL/g之间。此外,寒武系不同地区页岩有机碳含量与甲烷吸附量之间关系变化很大,显示页岩吸附量不仅受有机质丰度类型的影响,而且受有机质成熟度、区域地质演化以及粘土矿物吸附等多种因素制约。  相似文献

This article presents the developments of an ongoing research aimed at modelling the influence of fissuring on the behaviour of clays. In particular, it recalls the main results of an extensive laboratory investigation on a fissured bentonite clay from the south of Italy and presents the data of a new investigation on the evolution with shearing of the strain fields developing within the clay, resulting from Digital Image Correlation (DIC). Element test results are analysed in the framework of continuum mechanics and linked to the clay fissuring features, once characterised using the Fissuring IDentity (F‐ID) chart. This article compares the bentonite behaviour with that of other fissured clays of different F‐IDs, highlighting the common behavioural features. Thereafter, the soil response at the macro level is related to the DIC‐derived strain fields evolving within the clay with loading. For this purpose, DIC was successfully used to investigate the deformation processes active in the fissured clay and the sources of the localisation phenomena. DIC is shown to provide indications of the extent to which highly to medium fissured clays element test results can be of use to model the clay behaviour according to continuum mechanics. 泥页岩水化过程中黏土矿物起着主要的作用,但目前还缺少相关的定量描述研究。为此,利用SEM、X-粉晶衍射技术,对采自不同地区的泥岩和板岩在干燥状态、不同浸泡时间后的微观结构和含量进行分析及研究,分析黏土矿物的组构随浸泡时间的变化过程,并定量地分析其对水化过程的影响规律,研究泥页岩的软化过程。研究认为,(1)泥页岩、板岩中影响水化过程的内在因素是蒙脱石、高岭石、绿泥石和伊利石等黏土矿物的含量;(2)黏土矿物定向排列时水化作用效果较无序排列时的明显;(3)泥页岩的水化作用是一个渐进的过程,即在水化过程中流体介质首先使表面的黏土矿物软化,产生掉块;随着时间延长,流体沿裂缝、层理面向岩石内部渗透,黏土土矿物发生膨胀;无围岩限制作用时坍塌掉块持续发生;(4)泥浆中加入一定的无机盐有助于抑制水化过程的发生;压力增加将抑制水化过程的产生;温度升高则能促进泥页岩的水化过程。  相似文献

天然气可以吸附或以游离态赋存在富有机质泥页岩及其夹层中,使页岩成为一种重要的非常规储集体。页岩的微米—纳米级孔隙是页岩气富集的重要场所,常规孔隙研究手段难以适用,目前,国际上尚没有关于页岩孔隙类型的统一分类方案。因此,页岩的孔隙结构特征成为页岩气勘探开发中的关键问题。总结近年来页岩孔隙结构的主要研究手段和分类,并初步分析了浙西—皖南下扬子地区古生界页岩的孔隙特征。  相似文献

This paper presents the construction and performance details of a compacted London Clay barrier that was designed to prevent any leachate or methane penetrating a stretch of the cut and cover box section tunnel of the London Heathrow Express Rail Link. The barrier was constructed with London Clay that was spoil from concurrent bored tunnelling operations on adjacent sites. Laboratory investigations carried out on the compacted London Clay are presented in the paper. These indicated that it was possible to design the clay surround to function as a barrier protecting the structure from the ingress of the leachate. Field monitoring using magnetic extensometer gauge measurements indicate that the consequent ground movements are lower than that predicted by the laboratory tests.  相似文献

根据连云港至徐州高速公路连云港段60多个断面的现场实测沉降资料,分析了在路堤荷载作用下连云港海相软土的沉降和固结规律。实测数据表明,在路堤荷载作用下连云港海相软土地基的沉降曲线符合双曲线形式,故可采用双曲线法预测最终沉降。由此可以分析在不同施工期的地基沉降和固结特性,得到不同地基处理条件下路堤填筑期和预压期地基平均固结度与施工时间的关系。分析亦表明,粉喷桩加固能加速地基的固结速率。最后,针对沉降和固结理论计算中计算参数的难以合理确定的局限性,对现场实测沉降数据采用数理统计方法,提出了适用于连云港地区海相软土路堤沉降和固结估算经验公式。  相似文献

A design of a dewatering system is necessary for site improvement prior to the construction of some structures. The design of an efficient dewatering system requires estimating the value of the in-situ coefficient of permeability. The available relationships for estimating the permeability coefficient were developed based on limited field measurements and conditions, and their predictions vary by several orders of magnitudes. Therefore, it was necessary to conduct field measurements of permeability and determine the relationship that best fits these measurements prior to the design of a dewatering system for specific geological and site conditions. This paper presents field measurements of permeability in complex chaotic and diagenetic limestone strata. It also offers comparative analysis of several relationships available in the literature for predicting the in-situ coefficient of permeability. The analysis is conducted for both steady and nonsteady conditions. The results show that the coefficient of permeability value is dependent on the water table level, which is affected by the tidal condition. 本文以南海北部湾SO-31沉积柱为研究对象,研究了14C年代学和粘土矿物学特征,并对部分全球气候事件进行了对比,为古环境、古气候的恢复提供基础资料,也为全球重大气候事件在该区域的响应提供信息。结果显示全新世以来地层沉积正常,平均沉积速率为0.57mm/a。粘土成分主要由蒙脱石、伊利石、高岭石和绿泥石组成,组合类型为蒙脱石-伊利石-高岭石-绿泥石型。全新世以来环境气候演变可划分为五个阶段:低温期阶段、干湿交替的寒冷气候阶段、逐渐升温阶段、干旱温暖气候阶段、湿热阶段。气候在每个阶段背景下还存在一些次级波动,总体趋势为干湿交替,温度逐渐上升。由于海域环境及矿物指标的影响,北部湾SO-31沉积柱粘土矿物记录的降温事件时间比其他指标记录的新仙女木降温事件发生时间滞后500~800a。  相似文献

This study aimed to identify displacement properties of landslide masses at the initiation of failure and factors that affect the landslides activities in areas where quick clay is found. We set up a research site in a quick clay deposit area in Norway and monitored the displacements of landslide masses and meteorological and hydrological factors for a long period of time using an automatic monitoring system. The system collected data for two landslides that occurred at the site from the start of their movement until their ultimate collapse.

The two landslides that were monitored showed definite secondary and tertiary creep stages before they collapsed. One of the landslides moved from the secondary stage to the tertiary creep stage when another landslide occurred nearby. The tertiary stage of this landslide showed reconstruction of short primary, secondary, and tertiary creep stages. These phenomena suggested that (1) the stress at the end of the landslide mass was released during the nearby landslide, and (2) a new stress distribution was formed in the landslide mass. The critical strain differed for 14 times between the two landslide masses we monitored. The difference was likely attributable to the difference in the contents of quick clay, which shows small critical stress against slope failure, as well as topological factors.

Our analyses of the effects of hydrological and meteorological factors on landslides showed that the precipitation of 3 and 10 days before six slope failures as the final stages of the landslides that had occurred in the research area was no different from the mean precipitation of periods that showed no slope failure, suggesting that precipitation had no direct effects on the collapse of the landslide masses. On the other hand, the traveling velocities of the landslide masses during the secondary creep stage, which was prior to their collapse, were affected by the water content of the soil and precipitation (and the amount of snowmelt water), but was little correlated with the pore-water pressure of the quick clay layer. We also found that the presence of snow cover scarcely affected landslide movements.  相似文献

利用ICP—MS等分析技术对典型黑色页岩的微量元素及P、S等组分进行了分析,探讨了黑色页岩的化学特征、风化机制和微量元素富集特征,阐明了黑色页岩的资源功能和环境效应。结果表明,黑色页岩不但富含多种矿产资源,产有大型、超大型多金属矿床,而且可用作复合化肥以改良土壤。同时,黑色页岩因风化分解释放CO2、产生酸性矿排水、释出重金属元素等而可能对环境产生严重影响,引起环境问题。开发利用黑色页岩不但要充分认识其资源功能特征,拓宽其应用途径,而且要特别注意其可能引发的环境问题。  相似文献

Geochemical compositions of the Lower Cambrian Niutitang Formation shales in the southeastern Yangtze Platform margin were investigated for provenance, tectonic setting, and depositional environment. The shale samples are characterized by higher abundances of large ion lithophile elements (Cs, Ba, and Pb), lower abundances of high field strength elements (Cr, Sc, and Co) and transition elements (Th, Zr, Hf, Nb, and Ta) relative to average shale. North American shale composition (NASC) -normalized rare earth element (REE) patterns are observed, with negative Ce anomalies, negative Eu anomalies, and positive Y anomalies. The chemical index of alteration (CIA) varies from 68.67–74.93. Alkali and alkaline element contents and CIA values suggest that the source rocks have undergone moderate weathering. The index of compositional variability (ICV), Zr/Sc and Th/Sc ratios vary from 0.53 to 1.07, 5.31 to 8.18 and 0.52–1.02, respectively. ICV values and relationships between Zr/Sc and Th/Sc ratios indicate negligible sedimentary recycling. The Al2O3/TiO2 (14–26) and TiO2/Zr (56–77) ratios imply that the source rocks of the investigated shales had intermediate igneous compositions. However, Cr/V ratios and a La/Th–Hf discrimination diagram suggest that the intermediate compositional signal of the source rocks was derived from a mixture of 75% mafic and 25% felsic igneous rocks rather than intermediate igneous rocks. The major source was the Jiangnan continental island arc with bimodal igneous rocks, lying to the south of the study area, together with a contribution from granites and gneisses uplifted and eroded in the Yangtze Block. Discrimination of tectonic setting using major and trace elements indicates that the source rocks originated in a transitional setting from active continental to passive margin, consistent with the failed intracontinental rift model for the evolution of the South China plate. The Niutitang Formation shales were deposited in a rift basin setting under conditions of anoxic bottom water in a redox-stratified water column, with organic-rich shales prospective for shale-gas production being found in deep-water downslope and basin environments rather than the shallow-water shelf.  相似文献
