认为青藏形成统一大陆应该在印支期晚期古特提斯洋关闭和海水退出时。由于来自冈瓦纳大陆的羌塘微陆块向NE斜向俯冲 ,产生了印支期的阿尼玛卿、柴北缘和阿尔金大规模走滑断裂的形成 ,并且由于东部受到华南板块的阻挡 ,形成南北向的龙门山褶皱带。此阶段 ,地势较低 ,海拔不高。直至中特提斯洋在白垩纪早期关闭 ,来自冈瓦纳大陆的冈底斯微陆块沿班公湖—怒江一线俯冲到北部高原的下面 ,由于高原北部受到塔里木—阿拉善地块的阻挡 ,东部受到南中国板块的阻挡 ,高原北部开始隆升 ,形成高原雏形。高原南北统一大陆形成于新特提斯洋的关闭和印度板块沿雅鲁藏布江缝合带与欧亚大陆碰撞时 ,并在新近纪后开始快速抬升 ,形成现今的高原地貌 ,这已是共识。值得讨论的是 ,如何识别高原北部白垩纪时期的隆升 ,以及其对建立高原隆升模型和计算高原北部隆升速率的贡献。  相似文献

At present, 48 Late Cretaceous (ca. 70–88 Ma) kimberlitic pipes have been discovered in three separate areas of the northern Alberta: the Mountain Lake cluster, the Buffalo Head Hills field and the Birch Mountains field. The regions can be distinguished from one another by their non-archetypal kimberlite signature (Mountain Lake) or, in the case of kimberlite fields, primitive (Buffalo Head Hills) to evolved (Birch Mountains) magmatic signatures.

The dominant process of magmatic differentiation is crystal fractionation and accumulation of olivine, which acts as the main criteria to distinguish between primitive and evolved Group I-type kimberlite fields in the northern Alberta. This is important from the viewpoint of diamond exploration because the majority (about 80%) of the more primitive Buffalo Head Hills kimberlites are diamondiferous, whereas the more evolved Birch Mountains pipes are barren of diamonds for the most part. Petrographically, the Buffalo Head Hills samples are distinct from the Birch Mountains samples in that they contain less carbonate, have a smaller modal abundance of late-stage minerals such as phlogopite and ilmenite, and have a higher amount of fresh, coarse macrocrystal (>0.5 mm) olivine. Consequently, samples from the Buffalo Head Hills have the highest values of MgO, Cr and Ni, and have chemistries similar to those of primitive hypabyssal kimberlite in the Northwest Territories. Based on whole-rock isotopic data, the Buffalo Head Hills K6 kimberlite has 87Sr/86Sr and Nd values similar to those of South African Group I kimberlites, whereas the Birch Mountains Legend and Phoenix kimberlites have similar Nd values (between 0 and +1.9), but distinctly higher 87Sr/86Sr values (0.7051–0.7063).

The lack of whole-rock geochemical overlap between kimberlite and the freshest, least contaminated Mountain Lake South pipe rocks reflects significant mineralogical differences and Mountain Lake is similar geochemically to olivine alkali basalt and/or basanite. Intra-field geochemical variations are also evident. The K4 pipe (Buffalo Head Hills), and Xena and Kendu pipes (Birch Mountains) are characterized by anomalous concentrations of incompatible elements relative to other northern Alberta kimberlite pipes, including chondrite-normalized rare-earth element distribution patterns that are less fractionated than the other kimberlite samples from the Buffalo Head Hills and Birch Mountains. The Xena pipe has similar major element chemical signatures and high-Al clinopyroxene similar to, or trending towards, the Mountain Lake pipes. In addition, K4 and Kendu have higher 87Sr/86Sr and lower Nd than Bulk Earth and plot in the bottom right quadrant of the Nd–Sr diagram. We suggest, therefore, that the K4 and Kendu pipes contain a contribution from old, LREE-enriched (low Sm/Nd) lithosphere that is absent from the other kimberlites, are affected by crustal contamination, or both.

Based on xenocryst populations, the northern Alberta kimberlite province mantle is dominated by carbonate-saturated lherzolitic mantle. Higher levels of melt depletion characterize the Buffalo Head Hills mantle sample. Despite high diamondiferous to barren pipe ratios in the Buffalo Head Hills pipes, mineral indicators of high diamond potential, such as G10 garnet, diamond inclusion composition chrome spinels and high-sodium eclogitic garnet, are rare.  相似文献

二连盆地下白垩统充填在一系列NE-NNE向正断层控制的(复式)地堑、半地堑断陷中,具有陆内裂陷盆地特征。盆地内部的早白垩世断陷以不同方式连接在一起构成3个不同走向的裂陷带(马尼特—乌兰察布正向裂陷带、乌尼特—乌兰察布斜向裂陷带和川井—腾格尔斜向裂陷带),裂陷带周边隆起区也有零星的地堑、半地堑断陷分布。二连盆地的基底经历了加里东期、海西期、印支期和早燕山期多期构造演化,表现为褶皱与基底断裂构成的强变形带和岩浆岩体、微小陆块等弱变形域镶嵌排列、构造线方向多变的不均一特点。二连盆地早白垩世断陷的构造样式和空间分布与基底构造密切相关,基底强变形带发育大量的断陷构成裂陷带,基底弱变形区只发育有零星的断陷。受基底强变形带走向的影响,不同裂陷带的断陷组合形式表现出差异性。马尼特—乌兰察布裂陷带上叠在走向由NE向转为NEE向、向南凸出的东乌珠穆沁—二连弧形褶皱带上,早白垩世断陷多表现为串联、小角度斜列复合型式,属于正向裂陷带;乌尼特裂陷带上叠在NEE向的二连—贺根山深大断裂带(混杂岩带)之上,川井—腾格尔裂陷带上叠在近EW向的温都尔庙—西拉木伦深大断裂带(缝合带)及两侧褶皱带上,裂陷带内部的早白垩世断陷多表现为并联、中—大角度斜列复合型式,属于斜向裂陷带。正向裂陷带内部的早白垩世断陷多为深而狭长的地堑、半地堑,斜向裂陷带内部的早白垩世断陷多为浅而宽阔的地堑、半地堑。上述特征表明二连盆地早白垩世裂陷的分布及其构造样式受基底构造控制。  相似文献

基底构造在沉积盆地的形成与演化过程中扮演着重要的角色.本文利用地球物理资料和地表地质调查数据, 对二连盆地早白垩世断陷分布规律与基底构造特征及其关系进行了研究, 并分析了基底构造对富油凹陷的控制作用.结果表明, 二连盆地早白垩世68个断陷总体上自北东向南西呈弥散式分布, 这些断陷可分为南部断陷群与北部断陷群, 断陷群夹持在隆起之间, 总体上构成了正负相间的盆岭构造格局.基底构造控制着二连盆地早白垩世断陷分布, 表现为: 断陷群沿着深断裂分布; 坳陷对应着基底先存复向斜, 隆起对应着基底先存复背斜; 刚性的锡林浩特地块分割了断陷群.深断裂作为构造薄弱区在伸展变形过程中优先重新活动, 并控制着断陷的发育与分布; 盖层演化和基底构造之间具有良好的继承性; 基底流变性发生突变的区带对断陷的发育与分布也具有控制作用.盆地基底断裂带上叠的凹陷、基底断裂带交汇处上叠的凹陷和刚性基底上新生的凹陷在伸展变形过程中构造继承性好、沉降量大、优质烃源岩发育, 是富油凹陷发育的有利区域.  相似文献

柴达木盆地北缘晚白垩世构造活动控制了现今中生代残余层序的分布。在分析中生代地层分布特征的基础上,通过对红山凹陷下白垩统的地层尖灭关系讨论、马海凸起中生代地层的剥蚀厚度变化分析和苏干湖凹陷晚白垩世形成的古断裂带结构研究,提出柴达木盆地北缘晚白垩世古构造活动形成了北西走向的构造带,古构造以断块差异隆升为特点。现今新生代层序和下伏层序的复杂接触关系主要是由该期构造运动决定的。  相似文献

There is no international consensus regarding the GSSP for the Berriasian, the basal stage of the Cretaceous System. Any of the events discussed by the international expert community can be regarded as a marker of the Jurassic/Cretaceous boundary: a phylogenetic change of taxa, paleomagnetic reversal, or isotopic excursion. However, the problem of identification of this level in Boreal sections can be solved only using a combination of data obtained by paleontological and nonpaleontological methods of stratigraphy (bio-, chemo-, magnetostratigraphy, etc.). With any of the accepted markers, the Jurassic/Cretaceous boundary in Siberian sections will be within the upper part of the regional Bazhenovo Horizon. The least interval of the uncertainty of the position of this boundary in Siberian sections will be ensured by the selection of one of two markers: biostratigraphic (base of the Pseudosubplanites grandis Subzone) or magnetostratigraphic (base of the M18r magnetozone).  相似文献

陕西省渭北、陕北石炭二叠纪煤系共伴生高岭岩资源极其丰富。渭北高岭岩质纯,矿石中高岭石自形程度差,但结晶有序;府谷高岭岩质量纯,杂质少,粒度细、结晶好,是一种优质高岭土矿。渭北高岭岩可用作“双90”、莫来石、4A沸石等的原料,广泛用于陶瓷工业、造纸工业;府谷高岭岩可用作生产纸张涂布、高级日用细瓷原料。高岭岩的赋存具有平面和剖面上的规律性,这些规律又受区域构造背景、古气候、母岩、沉积环境、成煤植物、成岩后生作用等控制。针对不同的资源特征,可以合理利用,节省投资,化资源优势为经济优势。  相似文献

We report the first record of anilioids from southern South America, a region where they do not live today. The fossils come from the Allen Formation (Late Campanian–Early Maastrichtian) at Bajo Trapalcó and Bajo de Santa Rosa localities, Río Negro province, Argentina. The remains consist of several vertebrae, most of which belong to the mid–posterior precloacal region of the column. Comparisons to other extant and extinct anilioid taxa indicate that these remains represent a new taxon, Australophis anilioides gen. et sp. nov. Australophis is morphologically closer to Palaeocene Hoffstetterella from Brazil and extant South American Anilius than to any other snake. These taxa might be closely related, in which case they would represent a lineage distinct from that including Cylindrophis and uropeltids. The two lineages must have diverged by the Late Cretaceous.  相似文献

通过对松辽盆地北部晚白垩世青山口组和嫩江组一段、二段中沟鞭藻及疑源类化石形态、丰度、分异度、优势度和组合等古生态特征研究 ,以及对微量元素硼含量、相当硼含量、锶钡比和硼镓比等地球化学特性的分析 ,得出在盆地北部沟鞭藻及疑源类化石的古生态、微量元素的分布规律与盆地内沉积相带的展布三者之间具有较好的相关性 ,说明松辽盆地的沟鞭藻及疑源类的发育和分布是由自生环境决定的。同时 ,通过专门对所谓“海侵”通道上的微体古生物和微量元素特征进行综合分析 ,未发现任何能证明海侵通道存在的证据 ,从而认为此海侵通道并不存在。  相似文献

青藏高原拉萨地体北部早白垩世火山岩的成因及意义   总被引:2,自引:2,他引:2  
拉萨地体广泛分布中生代的岩浆岩,了解它们的成因和形成机制可以为认识和理解青藏高原前新生代演化历史提供重要信息。本文报道了拉萨地体北部早白垩世晚期的基性-酸性火山岩的岩石学、锆石U-Pb年代学及Hf同位素特征。岩石学和全岩地球化学特征表明它们为安山玄武岩、粗面英安岩和流纹岩。安山玄武岩为钙碱性岩石,富集Th、U和Pb,具有Nb和Ta的负异常,显示出岛弧玄武岩的特征。粗面英安岩和流纹岩大部分为铁质、钙碱性-碱性岩石,富集高场强元素(HFSE,如Zr),与A型花岗质岩石特征一致。此外,流纹岩具有较高的Si O2含量(75.19%~77.87%)和分异指数(DI=96~98),在原始地幔标准化微量元素蛛网图和球粒陨石标准化稀土元素模式图上,显示强烈Ba、Nb、Ta、Sr、P、Eu和Ti的负异常,说明它们为高分异的A型流纹岩。3个粗面英安岩和7个流纹岩样品的锆石定年结果表明,它们的结晶年龄分别为109~110Ma和106~110Ma,锆石εHf(t)分别为-10.2~+3.7和-8.7~+6.7,相对应的Hf二阶段模式年龄(tDM2)分别为1799~923Ma和1702~708Ma。我们认为安山玄武岩来源于交代岩石圈地幔中等程度(~20%)的部分熔融,并经历了以斜方辉石为主的分离结晶作用。粗面英安岩和流纹岩来源于古老基底岩石的部分熔融,并且有幔源岩浆的加入。流纹岩母岩浆形成后又经历了强烈分离结晶作用。我们推测,上述岩浆岩形成在安第斯型造山作用过程中的伸展机制下,可能与新特提斯洋岩石圈板片沿拉萨地体南缘北向俯冲过程中发生的板片回转、断离,以及岩石圈拆沉作用有关,也可能与班公-怒江大洋岩石圈板片沿拉萨地体北缘南向俯冲过程中发生的板片断离有关。  相似文献

The Mount Athos Peninsula is situated in the south-easternmost part of the Chalkidiki Peninsula in northern Greece. It belongs to the Serbo-Macedonian Massif (SMM), a large basement massif within the Internal Hellenides. The south-eastern part of the Mount Athos peninsula is built by fine-grained banded biotite gneisses and migmatites forming a domal structure. The southern tip of the peninsula, which also comprises Mount Athos itself, is built by limestone, marble and low-grade metamorphic rocks of the Chortiatis Unit. The northern part and the majority of the western shore of the Mount Athos peninsula are composed of highly deformed rocks belonging to a tectonic mélange termed the Athos-Volvi-Suture Zone (AVZ), which separates two major basement units: the Vertiskos Terrane in the west and the Kerdillion Unit in the east. The rock-types in this mélange range from metasediments, marbles and gneisses to amphibolites, eclogites and peridotites. The gneisses are tectonic slivers of the adjacent basement complexes. The mélange zone and the gneisses were intruded by granites (Ierissos, Ouranoupolis and Gregoriou). The Ouranoupolis intrusion obscures the contact between the mélange and the gneisses. The granites are only slightly deformed and therefore postdate the accretionary event that assembled the units and created the mélange. Pb–Pb- and U–Pb-SHRIMP-dating of igneous zircons of the gneisses and granites of the eastern Athos peninsula in conjunction with geochemical and isotopic analyses are used to put Athos into the context of a regional tectonic model. The ages form three clusters: The basement age is indicated by two samples that yielded Permo-Carboniferous U–Pb-ages of 292.6?±?2.9?Ma and 299.4?±?3.5?Ma. The main magmatic event of the granitoids now forming the gneiss dome is dated by Pb–Pb-ages between 140.0?±?2.6?Ma and 155.7?±?5.1?Ma with a mean of 144.7?±?2.4?Ma. A within-error identical age of 146.6?±?2.3?Ma was obtained by the U–Pb-SHRIMP method. This Late Jurassic age is also known from the Kerdillion Unit and the Rhodope Terrane. The rather undeformed granites are interpreted as piercing plutons. The small granite stocks sampled have Late Cretaceous to Early Tertiary ages of 66.8?±?0.8?Ma and 68.0?±?1.0?Ma (U–Pb-SHRIMP)/62.8?±?3.9?Ma (Pb–Pb). The main accretionary event was according to these data in the Late Jurassic since all younger rocks show little or no deformation. The age distribution together with the geochemical and isotopic signature and the lithology indicates that the eastern part of the Mount Athos peninsula is part of a large-scale gneiss dome also building the Kerdillion Unit of the eastern SMM and the Rhodope Massif. This finding extends the area of this dome significantly to the south and indicates that the tectonic boundary between the SMM and the Rhodope Massif lies within the AVZ.  相似文献

在藏北班戈地区多尼组中发现了早白垩世欧特里夫期菊石。这些菊石化石部分保存较完整,鉴定出2科和1种(比较种),包括多皱菊石科Polyptychitidae,新考米菊石科Neocomitidae,减退菊石比较种Lyticoceras cf.stevrecensis。对比发现,该化石组合可能具有较强的地方属性特征。其中,Lyticoceras cf.stevrecensis属于地方菊石亚科,是早欧特里夫期的典型分子,可以与特提斯域的喜马拉雅北部、巴基斯坦北部和西地中海等地区的菊石进行对比,填补了班戈地区Thurmanniceras - Sarasinella菊石组合的欧特里夫期空白,这对于该地区的下白垩统地层对比和重新认识措勤盆地的沉积构造演化可能具有重要的约束作用和指示意义。  相似文献

2020年10月,笔者在四川盆地北缘的四川省通江县下白垩统苍溪组粉砂岩层面之上,新发现5个恐龙足迹化石,其形态均与经典的兽脚类足迹Eubrontes相似(如双足动物所留,足迹宽,功能性三趾型,较短的第Ⅲ趾)。该发现表明,Eubrontes这种中大型的兽脚类足迹广泛分布在四川盆地的下白垩统。该发现对于四川盆地北缘的古气候、古地理和地层对比都具有重要意义。  相似文献

在藏北申扎地区塔尔玛-新吉中新生代沉积盆地北缘发现一套厚1 000 m灰岩夹碎屑岩岩段。岩层呈近东西向展布,南部两侧均被断层所切割,未见顶底。其内含较丰富的早白垩世海相动物化石,在这个地区尚属首次发现,确定了1∶25万申扎县幅内及周边地区有早白垩世的海相地层的存在,为研究班戈—怒江缝合带和雅江缝合带构造格局提供了新材料。  相似文献

We have identified an extinct E–W spreading center in the northern Natal valley on the basis of magnetic anomalies which was active from chron M11 (133 Ma) to 125.3 Ma, just before chron M2 (124 Ma) in the Early Cretaceous. Seafloor spreading in the northern Natal valley accounts for approximately 170 km of north–south motion between the Mozambique Ridge and Africa. This extension resolves the predicted overlap of the continental (central and southern) Mozambique Ridge and Antarctica in the chron M2 to M11 reconstructions from Mesozoic finite rotation parameters for Africa and Antarctica. In addition, the magnetic data reveal that the Mozambique Ridge was an independent microplate from at least 133 to 125 Ma. The northern Natal valley extinct spreading center connects to the spreading center separating the Mozambique Basin and the Riiser-Larsen Sea to the east. It follows that the northern Mozambique Ridge was either formed after the emplacement of the surrounding oceanic crust or it is the product of a very robust spreading center. To the west the extinct spreading center connects to the spreading center separating the southern Natal valley and Georgia Basin via a transform fault. Prior to chron M11, there is still a problem with the overlap of Mozambique Ridge if it is assumed to be fixed with respect to either the African or Antarctic plates. Some of the overlap can be accounted for by Jurassic deformation of the Mozambique Ridge, Mozambique Basin, and Dronning Maud land. It appears though that the Mozambique Ridge was an independent microplate from the breakup of Gondwana, 160 Ma, until it became part of the African plate, 125 Ma.  相似文献

针对羌塘盆地地表地质条件复杂,地震资料信噪比低,取得高质量的地震剖面存在很大困难等问题,中国地质调查局在羌塘布设了总长约52km的试验剖面,初步摸索出一套适用于羌塘地区地震资料采集与处理的方法技术。处理后的地震叠加剖面上反射信息丰富,揭示出盆地基底以上各构造层的空间展布特征,为查明构造圈闭和构造界面,确定地层的组合等方面,提供了高质量数据。文中在对地震反射特征分析的基础上对两条剖面显示的盆地基底的埋深、形态等方面进行了初步研究。  相似文献

Zircon ages are reported for three Moldanubian amphibolite grade orthogneisses from the southern Bohemian Massif obtained by conventional U/Pb analyses. For two of these orthogneisses, conventional U/Pb data are supported by ion microprobe single zircon ages or single grain evaporation data. The amphibolite grade orthogneisses, occurring in three small tectonic lenses within the Varied Group close to the South Bohemian Main Thrust, are of tonalitic, granodioritic or quartz dioritic composition.Conventional bulk size fraction and ion microprobe analyses of nearly euhedral zircons from a metatonalite, erroneously interpreted as a metagreywacke in a previous study, yielded an upper Concordia intercept age of 2048 ± 12 Ma. The well preserved euhedral grain shapes of the zircons suggest crystallization from a magmatic phase, and the upper Concordia intercept age is now interpreted as reflecting a magmatic event at that time. The age of this rock is compatible with the conventional zircon data and the (207Pb/206Pb)* single grain evaporation result from two further orthogneisses providing intrusion ages of 2 060 ± 12, 2 104 ± 1 and 2 061 ± 6 Ma, respectively. For one sample a concordant U/Pb age for sphene of 355 ± 2 Ma defines the age of amphibolite facies metamorphism. 在数千公里地震剖面解释基础上,选用频率、振幅、连续性及内部反射结构等4个地震参数,采用“构形 结构 振幅 频率 连续性”的地震相复合命名原则,总结出南黄海盆地北部坳陷白垩系近10种地震相单元,5种沉积相类型。沉积特征分析表明,在没有钻井揭示的白垩系中、下部,其油气潜力有可能比泰州组更加可观,是很好的烃源岩。钻井资料也表明白垩系具有生、聚油过程,这进一步说明白垩系中、下部的生烃潜力。中、新生界的数套物性较好的储、盖层和众多与油气大规模运移时间匹配良好的构造圈闭,使白垩系成为南黄海盆地找油的首要对象。  相似文献
