The middle Permian Cryptospirifer fauna (brachiopod) has hitherto been found in more than 30 localities in the Yangtze Platform, South China. Examination of data from various localities shows that it occurs stratigraphically in three intervals in the range from the upper Kungurian to Wordian. In the Baoshan block in western Yunnan the fauna occurs in the basal part of the Daaozi Formation and is of possibly an early Wordian age. Outside China the Cryptospirifer fauna has been reported from central and northwest Iran and central Turkey, where the fauna may have an age around the Wordian/Capitanian boundary. Rapid global warming since the late Early Permian and possession of other suitable environmental factors such as proper substrate, clastic input and water depth enabled the Gondwana-derived Baoshan Block and related tectono-stratigraphic units in Iran and Turkey to host the Cryptospirifer fauna, a fauna evolved in the Yangtze Platform that is a type area of the Cathaysian province.  相似文献

From 1985 to 1987, four new localities with abundant fossil mammals were dis-covered by Cao, Tian and others in the Zhoukoudian (Choukoutien) area, Beijing. They are theEast, West, Shangdian and Donglingzi caves. The East Cave fauna consists of 28 speices ofmammals and its age is middle Early Pleistocene. The East Cave assemblage shows that a tem-perature-falling event took place at around 1.20 Ma B.P. at Zhoukoudian. Sixteen species ofmammals were collected from the West Cave, which are mainly forms of late Early Pleistoceneage. The West Cave fauna represents a transitional fauna from the East Cave fauna (dry-cold)to the fauna (warm) at locality 9. The Shangdian Cave fauna is composed of four forms, beingMiddle Pleistocene in age. The Donglingzi Cave fauna contains 21 Late Pleistocene forms. Inthe cave two fossil horizons may be distinguished. The age of the lower horizon is early LatePleistocene, which is equivalent to that of the New Cave fauna; while the fauna of the upper ho-rizon may be correlated with the Upper Cave fauna.  相似文献

A Kubergandian (Kungurian) fusuline fauna from the lower part of the Lugu Formation in the Cuozheqiangma area,central Qiangtang Block is described.This fusuline fauna belongs to the Southern Transitional Zone in palaeobiogeography,and is characterised by the presence of the distinctive bi-temperate genus Monodiexodina and many genera common in lower latitude Tethyan areas such as Parafusulina and Pseudodoliolina.The occurrence of Monodiexodina in the fauna confirms that the seamount-type carbonates of the Lugu Formation did not originate from the Palaeotethys Ocean,but rather from a branch of the Neotethys Ocean after the rifting of the Qiangtang Block from the Tethys Himalaya area in the Artinskian.  相似文献

青海省柴达木盆地北缘晚石炭世地层出露完好,四射珊瑚化方丰富。本文研究了该区晚石炭世四射珊瑚26属,49种和亚种,10个未定种。自下而上建立了5个四射珊瑚组合带:1Lithostrotionella-Thysanophyllum组合带;2Cgathaxomia-Rotiphyllum组合带;3Protoivanovia-Amplexus组合带;4NeokonickoPhyllum-Koninckophgllam组合带;5Pseudozaphretoides-Lophocarinophyllam组合带。  相似文献

丽蚌动物群的分布受气候和地理环境控制,研究地层中的丽蚌动物群可以恢复当时的古环境。在河北省白洋淀地区全新统共发现13种珠蚌科(Unionidae)的化石,属 Lamprotula-Cuneopsis-Unio 组合,称为白洋淀丽蚌动物群。该动物群与长江中下游流域太湖、鄱阳湖、洞庭湖及其周围水域的现代丽蚌动物群和山东王因、河南西水坡中全新世丽蚌动物群相比,虽然分异度低,但其组合特征相似,同属东洋界中印亚界动物地理区,生活于亚热带湿热气候下的河湖环境中。推测白洋淀丽蚌动物群的生活时代应为中全新世早期,当时北亚热带和东洋界的北界应在白洋淀以北的京津-河套一带。  相似文献

下二叠统分角木茶卡组和肖茶卡组。角木茶卡组为碳酸盐岩夹玄武岩,局部夹含砾板岩,厚1000-2500m。含(蜒)类组合Monodiexodina-Parafusulina,珊瑚组合 Lytvolasma Szechuanophyllum,腕足类组合Costiferina-Neospirifer-Spiriferella等。属冷、暖动物群混生类型。肖茶卡组为碳酸盐夹玄武岩,800-2900m。含(蜒)Neoschwagerina,珊瑚组合Iranophyllum-Waagenophyllum,腕足类组合Neospirifer-Spiriferella-Marginifera等,属暖水型动物群。这些反映了早二叠世时冈瓦纳大陆北缘浅海台地深拗陷带碳酸盐和火山岩的沉积特征。  相似文献

龙担哺乳动物群发现于甘肃省东乡族自治县的早更新世黄土底部。此前我国早更新世的哺乳动物化石大多发现于河-湖相地层中,在黄土中极少发现,而且主要在六盘山以东。在龙担哺乳动物群中还发现了灵长类化石,这在我国西北地区尚属首次。龙担哺乳动物群产于黄土底部约30m的地层中,最低的层位距“底板”(积石组砾岩)仅约3m。化石相当丰富,其中有不少新的种类。目前已发现的化石共21种,大体可以分为3类:1)与泥河湾哺乳动物群相同或很接近的;2)与泥河湾哺乳动物群相比,在进化水平上稍低,因而可能代表较早地质时代的;3)在泥河湾哺乳动物群中没有发现过的。龙担哺乳动物群的地质时代可能比泥河湾者稍早,可能约2MaB.P.。其组成倾向于表明,当时该地区周围还有相当面积的森林覆盖。  相似文献

新疆准噶尔盆地北缘乌伦古河地区第三纪含有 7个哺乳动物群 :可可买登动物群 ,哈拉玛盖动物群 ,索索泉组顶部动物群 ,索索泉动物群 ,索索泉组底部 990 0 5动物群 ,铁尔斯哈巴合动物群和乌伦古河动物群。依据动物群分析初步确定 5个岩石地层单元的地质时代分别为 :可可买登组——中中新世晚期 ;哈拉玛盖组——中中新世早期 ,索索泉组——最早中新世至早中新世最晚期或中中新世最早期 ;铁尔斯哈巴合组——晚渐新世 ;乌伦古河组——早始新世至早渐新世。  相似文献

内蒙古赤峰西北地区的东村、东梁一带更新世早期河-湖相沉积物相当发育,为一套白色砂与棕红色亚粘土互层,其中含有丰富的哺乳动物化石,计11科18属21种。动物群性质与泥河湾(狭义)的相当。这是我国最东和最北的一个三趾马与真马共生的化石地点。  相似文献

西藏南部岗巴地区上白垩统的有孔虫动物群十分丰富,经鉴定共有52属130种。根据岩性,该地区上白垩统可以划分出三个最基本的岩石地层单位:冷青热组、岗巴村口组及宗山组。依据其中有孔虫的形态结构、生态环境、系统演化及地史分布等特征,可以划分出五个主要的有孔虫动物群,Rotalipora动物群,Whiteinella-Helvetoglobotruncana动物群,Dicarinella-Marginotruncana动物群,Globotruncana-Globotuncanita动物群及Orbitoides-Omphalocyclus动物群。这五个有孔虫动物在晚白垩世相继绝灭,其绝灭与古水深有着十分密切的关系,主要是受海平面变化的影响。  相似文献

对西藏申扎地区早泥盆世珊瑚类的研究表明,申扎地区早泥盆世珊瑚群不论是从分异度、丰度还是分布范围上,都获得了极大的发展。通过分析西藏申扎地区早泥盆世珊瑚动物群组合,利用大冢系数的定量计算得出以下结论:申扎地区与我国云南丽江地区、西秦岭地区有着十分密切的联系,早泥盆世这3个地区为老世界大区(Old world realm)中的一个生物地理分区,并且进一步提出申扎地区与澳大利亚东部的关系密切。从混生的动物群角度上,印证了有关申扎地区是处于澳大利亚东部地区与我国华南之间过渡地区的观点。  相似文献

本文把采自华南浙江长兴煤山二叠系与三叠系界线剖面的牙形石动物群从老至新分为三个带:1.Gondolella subcarinata-G·wangi组合带;2.G.changxingensis-G.deflecta组合带;3.Anchignathodus parvus带。将煤山剖面的二叠系与三叠系界线划在2、3组合带之间。并初步探讨了长兴地区长兴期至早格里斯巴赫期的牙形石分异度与沉积环境变迁。  相似文献

早更新世时,重庆地区生活着巫山人;中更新世时,生存有盐井沟动物群和歌乐山动物群;晚更新世—全新世时,合川三汇坝动物群繁衍,以水杉、红椿木和枫杨为代表的植物群遍及全区,并有水杉、银杉等孓遗植物存在。整个第四纪时期,重庆地区的气候属亚热带温暖湿润气候,没有发生过冰川活动。  相似文献

The Permian foraminifer Shanita is a genus of special paleobiogeographic importance. Current data indicate that this genus occurs in peninsular Thailand, Shan States of Burma, western Yunnan and northwestern Tibet of China, south Pamir of Tajikistan, South Afghanistan, Kuh-e Gahkum area of lran, Transcaucasus, Pinarbasi area of Turkey, and the Saiq Plateau of Oman. Studies also show that several species of Hemigordius usually coexist with Shanita, and form a peculiar Shanita-Hemigordius fauna. Localities of the Shanita-Hemigordius fauna that have been found hitherto are confined on Gondwanaderived blocks, which constitute a strip starting from peninsular Thailand and extending northwestwards and westwards to Turkey. This fauna is considered as another Permian palaeontological marker of marginal Gondwana environment.  相似文献

早石炭世晚期至晚石炭世早期,太子河流域发育了一套红层沉积,泥岩中含有丰富的腕足动物化石,共计21属39种。系统分析了腕足动物群性质;结合围岩和地球化学特征等,识别出LinoproductusOvatia群落,它生活在与广海相连的浅水海湾低潮线附近地带;对同期腕足动物群进行了比较和讨论,提出当时研究区属于天山—辽吉腕足动物生物地理分区的观点。  相似文献

The study area, Nan Province, northern Thailand is geotectonically situated within the Nan-Uttaradit Suture, the once back-arc basin between the Sukhothai Zone and Indochina Block. Permian Fusulinacean fauna from limestone blocks within the suture has been investigated and the Nan area has been mapped in detail. These may provide the useful information for understanding the faunal assemblage and overall ge-ometry of stratigraphic successions in the basin. The strata were intensely folded and thrust. Scattered Per-mian limestones found in Nan area are blocks within shale interbedded with tuffaceous rock. The contact between this unit and the adjacent units, the strongly foliated shale and tuffaceous sedimentary strata that are mildly metamorphosed and giving phyllitic tex-tures, has been interpreted as a west-dipping normal fault, namely the Pha Sing Fault. This fault runs par-allel to the Highway no.1080 (Nan-Tha Wang Pha). Middle and early Late Permian fusulinacean fauna found in the Nan area contains Neoschwagerina, Pseudodoliolina, Colania, Lepidolina, and Colaniella. Additionally, late Early Permian fusulinacean and Middle Triassic radiolarian fauna have been reported in this area (e.g., Fontaine, 2002; Saesaengseerung et al. 2008). These paleontological data show the existence of Nan Back-arc Basin during late Early Permian (Artin-skian) to Middle Triassic. Moreover, the similarity of fusulinacean assemblage yielding Permian limestone blocks of the Nan Back-arc Basin and the ones of the Indochina Block has been interpreted that the Permian limestone blocks in the Nan Back-arc Basin were part of the continental shelf within the Indochina Block.  相似文献
