为改善文献上惯用的表现银河系分子谱线巡视结果的完全平滑了方位信息的径向分布方法,我们发展了原子气体或分子云参量的分环银经分布图,(X—l)_i图,它在某种程度上给出了方位信息。用现存旋臂模型结合这种图我们得到的银道面旋臂区和臂间区的E(HI),E(CO),E(~(13)CO)和N/S(~(13)CO)的两维对比度约为1—2。  相似文献

从分子云演化的过程来讨论银河系中可能存在的超新星遗迹数目.对银河系分子云的观测已经得到了许多可靠的数据.如果这一研究结果在分子云方面能使理论值和观测值相匹配,那么由此导得的超新星事件结果也有一定的可靠性.结果表明,在内银河系中,可能存在的超新星遗迹约为(775±12)τ5.旋臂结构并不会提高超新星的诞生率,它仅使超新星遗迹的分布有所变化,即在旋臂区域增加,而在臂间区域减少.  相似文献

利用新的银河系旋转曲线和银河系常数,由 H Ⅱ区和巨分子云等示踪天体重新确定了银河系的Sagittajrius-Carina旋臂,得到了其倾角约为12°,并探索了旋臂倾角与银河系常数Ro,Vo的依赖关系,结果表明,减小银河系常数Ro,Vo将导致旋臂倾角的增大,从而按照对数螺旋模型估计的银河系旋臂数目有取大的趋向.同时,银河系晕的质量随着旋转曲线的下倾也将逐渐减小.  相似文献

本文给出了在银道面第一象限中,原子氢气体HⅠ和CO分子及同位素分子~(13)CO发射之间的定量的大尺度相关分析。得到以下结论:(1)发射度E(~(13)CO)和E(~(12)CO),在l=11°—45°,b=0°大部分区域内总是线性相关的。(2)在内银道面第一象限内,不仅是在按简单几何划分的大部分区域,而且在按现存旋臂模型划分的一些特殊区域,HⅠ和CO发射也是大尺度线性非相关的。(3)看来CO发射度只在不多的几个区域中示踪HⅠ。但从平均-平滑E(HⅠ)和E(~(12)CO)的比较分析中,仍然难以确定分子云示踪HⅠ或可能由HⅠ形成的结论。  相似文献

Astrometric Very Long Baseline Interferometry (VLBI) observations of maser sources in the Milky Way are used to map the spiral structure of our galaxy and to determine fundamental parameters such as the rotation velocity (Θ0) and curve and the distance to the Galactic center (R0). Here, we present an update on our first results, implementing a recent change in the knowledge about the Solar motion. It seems unavoidable that the IAU recommended values for R0 and Θ0 need a substantial revision. In particular the combination of 8.5 kpc and 220 km s–1 can be ruled out with high confidence. Combining the maser data with the distance to the Galactic center from stellar orbits and the proper motion of Sgr A* gives best values of R0 = 8.3 ± 0.23 kpc and Θ0 = 239 or 246±7 km s–1, for Solar motions of V = 12.23 and 5.25 km s–1, respectively. The PeV gamma ray background produced in the interactions of ultra high energy cosmic rays with the ambient matter and radiations during their propagation in the Milky Way has been calculated in this paper. If the primary ultra high energy cosmic rays are produced from Galactic point sources then those point sources are also emitting PeV gamma rays. We discuss that the detection of galactocentric PeV gamma rays in the future would be a signature of the presence of EeV cosmic accelerators in the Milky Way.  相似文献

We have explored the hypothesis that the total mass ratio of the two main galaxies of the Local Group, the Andromeda galaxy (M31) and the Milky Way (MW), can be constrained by measuring the tidal force induced by the surrounding mass distribution, M31 included, on the MW. We argue that the total mass ratio between the two groups can be approximated, at least qualitatively, by finding the tidal radius where the internal binding force of the MW balances the external tidal force acting on it. Since M31 is the massive tidal 'perturber' of the local environment, we have used a wide range of M31 to MW mass-ratio combinations to compute the corresponding tidal radii. Of these, only a few match the distance of the zero-tidal shell, i.e. the shell identified observationally by the outermost dwarf galaxies which do not show any sign of tidal effects. This is the key to constraining the best mass-ratio interval of the two galaxies. Our results favour a solution where the mass ratio ranges from 2 to 3, implying a massive predominance of M31.  相似文献

We develop a detailed model of the Milky Way (a `prototypical' disk galaxy) and extend it to other disks with the help of some simple scaling relations, obtained in the framework of Cold Dark Matter models. This phenomenological (`hybrid') approach to the study of disk galaxy evolution allows us to reproduce successfully a large number of observed properties of disk galaxies in the local Universe and up to redshift z ∼ 1. The important conclusion is that, on average, massive disks have formed the bulk of their stars earlier than their lower mass counterparts: the `star formation hierarchy' has been apparently opposite to the `dark matter assembly' hierarchy. It is not yet clear whether `feedback' (as used in semi-analytical models of galaxy evolution) can explain that discrepancy. 对银河系内卫星星系进行全面的"人口普查"具有重要的意义。目前已经发现了二十几个卫星星系,其光度范围分布很广,最暗的矮星系比球状星体还暗。叙述了卫星星系的光度分布、空间分布和动力学性质。总结了观测和理论研究进展,并讨论了星流和伽玛射线在研究银河系结构和暗物质性质方面的贡献。表明了卫星星系的统计分布能用来很好地限制冷暗物质理论和星系形成的相关物理过程,同时指出当前研究的局限性和可能的发展方向。  相似文献

We have redetermined the kinematic parameters of the Gould Belt using currently available data on the motion of nearby young (log t < 7.91) open clusters, OB associations, and moving stellar groups. Our modeling shows that the residual velocities reach their maximum values of ?4 km s?1 for rotation (in the direction of Galactic rotation) and +4 km s?1 for expansion at a distance from the kinematic center of ≈300 pc. We have taken the following parameters of the Gould Belt center: R 0 = 150 pc and l 0 = 128°. The whole structure is shown to move relative to the local standard of rest at a velocity of 10.7 ± 0.7 km s?1 in the direction l = 274° ± 4° and b = ?1° ± 3°. Using the derived rotation velocity, we have estimated the virial mass of the Gould Belt to be 1.5 × 106 M .  相似文献
