分出辽阳群是解决辽吉东部元古宇地质问题的关键

正自1972年冬提出建立宽甸群以来,对辽吉东部前寒武纪地质问题引起很大争论。后来辽宁省地质区测队提出辽河群五分,作为1∶20万区测填图地层单元划分的依据。与之同时,笔者提出解体辽河群的划分方案:将其划分为宽甸群、草河群、大栗子群和辽阳群。时间已经过去40年了,对这个问题还未取得共识,感到非常遗憾。笔者认为首先分出辽阳群是解决辽吉东部元古宇各类地质问题的关键。
