时态GIS作为GIS理论和技术研究前沿领域的一个难点问题越来越被重视。从实用角度出发,提出矢量时空数据组织策略,包括:时间精确到秒,用数字表示;离散变化用状态和事件来共同描述,而连续变化用事件来描述;现状/历史数据分离,空间/属性数据分离;时间标记在元组级上,空间数据采用非拓扑数据模型。在此基础上,将矢量时态层划分12种类型,详细设计其关系表组成和具体表结构。最后,设计和开发相应的实验系统,并以图斑数据和车辆轨迹数据为例验证相关策略的可行性。     

Benefits of Software GPS Receivers for Enhanced Signal Processing

In this article, the architecture of a software Global Positioning System (GPS) receiver is described and an analysis is included of the performance of a software GPS receiver when tracking the GPS signals in challenging environments. Results are included that demonstrate the advantage of the software GPS receiver in tracking the GPS signals in low signal-to-noise or jamming scenarios. COMPACT AIR FILM PROCESSORS AND THEIR APPLICATIONS

The essential features of equipment for mobile processing are outlined with reference to the development of small photographic laboratory vehicles for use in the Jield. The resulting air film processor, the Wainco Products Limited 392. is described and details are given of trials carried out to establish its performance for a range of tasks in both reconnaissance and survey. The tests cover the sensitometric and drying behaviour of several air films in current use and include an analysis of the dimensional stability o f j l m in the processor. Applications using direrent containers and eflectiveness in improvised situations are also described and possible future variants of the processor are suggested.

Abstract

A pictorial navigation display for aircraft is described, in which the aircraft's ground position and track are continuously displayed, superimposed on the projected image in colour of a topographical map stored on microfilm. The microphotographic technique developed for preparation of the map films is also described. A navigation display of this type will be incorporated in the prototype Concorde supersonic airliner.
