前言

中国岩石力学与工程学会于1997年12月11日在石油大学(北京)召开了"深层岩石力学专业委员会"成立大会暨首届学术讨论会.本期"地质力学学报"深层岩石力学专集选登的是这次学术讨论会提交的部分论文.这本专集的出版目的在于交流深层岩石力学研究成果,拓宽深层岩石力学研究的广度和深度.因此,专业委员会希望广大的岩石力学科技工作者能提出宝贵意见和建议,以促进深层岩石力学研究的进一步深入,使其在我国经济建设中发挥应有的作用.     

Foreword

The Chinese Geophysical Society and China University of Geosciences (CUG) hosted the last three International Conferences on Environmental and Engineering Geophysics (ICEEG) on the campus of CUG in Wuhan, China, biannually from 2004 to 2008.
