Spatial analysis of commuting mode choice in Guangzhou, China   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
Metropolitan cities in China are commonly confronted with unresolved traffic congestion issues, primarily due to rapidly increasing traffic demand. Group disparity between commuting mode choice and its spatial distribution on road networks has enabled us to examine the factors that give rise to the discrepancies and the fundamental spatial causes of traffic congestion. In recent years, micro-perspective, individual, and behavior-based spatial analysis have mushroomed and been facilitated with effective tools such as temporal geographic information systems (T-GIS). It is difficult to study the interrelations between transport and space on the basis of commuting mode choice since the mode choice data are invisible in a specific space such as a particular road network. Therefore, in the field of transport, the classical origin destination (OD) four-stage model (FSM) is usually employed to calculate data when studying commuting mode choice. Based on the relative principles of T-GIS and the platform of ArcGIS, this paper considers Guangzhou as a case study and develops a spatio-temporal tool to examine the daily activities of residents. Meanwhile, the traffic volume distribution in rush hours, which was analyzed according to commuting modes and how they were reflected in the road network, was scrutinized with data extracted from travel diaries. Moreover, efforts were made to explain the relationship between traffic demand and urban spatial structure. Based on the investigation, this research indicates that traffic volumes in divergent groups and on the road networks is driven by: 1) the socio-economic characteristics of travelers; 2) a jobs-housing imbalance under suburbanization; 3) differences in the spatial supply of transport modes; 4) the remains of the Danwei (work unit) system and market development in China; and 5) the transition of urban spatial structure and other factors.  相似文献

轨道交通的快速发展提高了通勤可达性,也被认为在重构城市职住空间格局进而影响职住关系方面产生重大影响。探究城市轨道交通站点周边地区(下称轨交站点周边地区)就地职住平衡与建成环境的关系,对于通过建成环境设计促进站点尺度职住“微平衡”,调节由于轨道交通所导致的区域性职住分离意义重大。本文基于武汉市189个轨交站点刷卡数据,首先识别了轨道交通通勤人员并分析了其出行特征,进而利用逐步回归与地理加权回归模型(GWR)探究武汉市轨交站点周边地区职住平衡与建成环境的关系。结果表明:① 从整体看,武汉市向心通勤显著,且汉口片区与武昌片区之间产生较大规模的跨江通勤,跨江交通压力较大;主城区职住平衡指数优于城市近郊区,就业集聚程度呈现“中心-外围”递减趋势,居住空间围绕二环线在外围城区分布,城市整体形成“中心就业,外围居住”的职住分离格局;② 土地利用混合度、公交站点数量对轨交站点周边地区职住平衡有正向促进作用,轨交站点出入口数量则有负向作用,且各因素的影响具有明显的空间异质性;③ 非首末站的职住状况较首末站更好,而是否为换乘站则差异不大。本研究可为轨交站点周边地区就地职住平衡的形成提供参考,促进轨道交通与城市功能协调发展。  相似文献

Research on the spatial mismatch experienced by low-income minority residents is US-centric. However, spatial mismatch is not necessarily an appropriate term when considering the situation of low-wage workers in cities of northwestern China where there is higher proximity between jobs and housing and lower levels of residential segregation. This paper empirically examines the jobs-housing spatial relationship for one of the most typical low-wage groups, namely, public janitors, in Xi'an, China. Also, the causes of the jobs-housing spatial relationship are discussed in detail. Individual-level data based on in-depth interviews and questionnaires, as well as the GIS network analysis method, are used to provide baseline analyses of the jobs-housing spatial relationship. Results indicate that there is no jobs-housing spatial mismatch for public janitors in Xi'an. This can be implied from the short commuting distance and time.A basic cause is that most public janitors rent low-cost accommodation in villages-in-the-city, and in old residential quarters, near to their places of work. Other causes lie in off-peak commuting and high sensitivity to commuting distance due to the greater extent of nonmotorized commuting modes. The conclusions, based on a large number of social surveys, are an illuminating analysis of the spatial mismatch issue among low-wage workers in Chinese cities.  相似文献

Excess commuting in transitional urban China: A case study of Guangzhou   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
During the reform era, Chinese cities witnessed dramatic institutional transformation and spatial restructuring in general and profound change of commuting patterns in particular. Using household surveys collected in Guangzhou, China, in 2001, 2005 and 2010, excess commuting measurements are estimated. Excess commuting shows an overall trend of increasing during 1990–1999, and then declining during 2000–2010. We argue that deepening marketization of the jobs and housing sectors has induced spatial separation of jobs and housing. In other words, institutional transition and urban spatial restructuring are underpinning the changes of commuting patterns in Chinese cities. Excess commuting has strong relationship with individual socio-demographic status, which is by and large due to the increasing flexibilities of jobs and housing location choices enjoyed by urban residents. The findings call for considerations on balancing jobs-housing in making public policies relevant to urban development in general, and land use and transportation in particular.  相似文献

相比于大城市,中小城市在新型城镇化中至关重要,具有独特的居民出行行为特征,但以往的研究并没有得到足够的关注。目前研究主要使用浮动车数据分析特大城市居民的出行行为,但考虑到小城市土地开发强度低、公共交通不发达、研究空间尺度精细等特点,这些研究方法不能完全适用于针对小城市的研究。因此,本文使用小城市出租车GPS轨迹数据识别上下客事件,沿道路生成随机样点采样得到了分时段的上下客密度,并对其时空动态进行描述和表达;筛选出显著影响上下客密度时空分布的9类设施,建立出租车上下客事件的地理加权回归模型;分析了小城市出租车上下客时空动态与各类城市设施的时空关系,发现在工作日与双休日和一天中不同时段中,不同城市设施对上下客事件的影响具有不同的分布规律及其驱动机制。研究结果可为小城市的城市规划和交通需求精细化管理提供参考。  相似文献

职住分离和通勤距离关系的定量测度,对公共政策、城市规划的制定具有指导作用。长期以来,该领域的计算方法及验证的可靠性、精确性存在多方面的制约,用得最普及的单元平衡法存在单元尺度多大合适、单元边界隔离2个局限性。本研究以上海市为例,以人口普查、经济普查、手机信令数据为基础,多角度开展方法探索。先对中心城区划定职住基本平衡范围,用考虑通勤距离的密度估计函数,按工作地估计职工的居住密度,和从业居民的实际密度相比较,使职住分离和通勤距离对应起来,同时缓解单元尺度问题、消解边界隔离问题。继而使用职住分离零壹指数代替传统职住比,用平均通勤距离验证职住分离,获得了很强的线性相关。尽管统计结果有效,依然会有样本偏离线性回归方程,利用置信区间,筛选出异常点,凭经验解释原因,可从定性角度进一步提高分析结果的可信,还可以探测职住失配的原因。基于上述分析方法,验证了:职大于住的地区,职工通勤距离偏长,居民通勤距离偏短;住大于职的地区,居民通勤距离偏长,职工通勤距离偏短,职住关系越平衡,通勤交通总量越小,越分离,交通总量越大。上述方法以上海为例得到验证,也能适用于其他大城市的中心城区。  相似文献

探究城镇空间扩张的方向性及其时间变化特征,能够反映都市圈发展过程中核心城市与边缘地区空间关联的动态过程,为制定都市圈发展的相关政策提供科学依据。本文从都市圈的核心城市与边缘地区相互关联的视角,借鉴物理学中力的分解原理,构建了同时兼顾扩张强度和方向性的向心扩张指数CEI,并以郑州都市圈为对象,采用2000—2018年30 m分辨率的全球人造不透水面数据产品GAIA,分析了建设用地扩张的总体数量和占比变化、动态度及强度变化、以及空间方向性变化等特征,进一步应用多元逻辑回归模型,揭示了影响城镇空间扩张向心性的关键因素。结果表明:(1)向心扩张指数CEI为揭示都市圈核心城市对边缘地区的辐射带动作用提供方法支撑,能够定量刻画边缘地区朝向核心城市的发展趋势;(2)在郑州都市圈近20年的快速扩张过程中,尽管各区县市的DEI指数和CEI指数随时间而增减波动,但郑州都市圈总体呈现“核心—边缘”发展模式,除个别地级市中心城区及其下辖县以外,多数区县市的向心性显著且随时间增强,郑州市中心城区对于边缘地区具有显著的辐射带动作用;(3)核心城市与边缘地区的人均GDP差异及城镇化率差异是影响边缘地区向心扩张的重要...  相似文献

The emergence of rapid transit, primarily represented by high-speed railway(HSR), while reshaping the regional traffic patterns, leads to the reconstruction and redistribution of population and industry. This leads to either shrinkage or expansion of urban scale. However, research on the influence mechanisms of the urban scale has mostly concentrated on historical, economic and social factors. The influence of traffic factors is rarely mentioned in current research. Therefore, this study examines Northeast China, where the change in urban scale is most significant, to discuss the spatial impact of high-speed railway on the urban scale. This is of great significance in terms of enriching current understanding of the factors affecting the urban scale. The results included the following: 1) The high-speed railway produced considerable space-time convergence effects, however, simultaneously aggravated the imbalance in traffic development in Northeast China. The increase in accessibility presents attenuation characteristics from the high-speed railway. Additionally, the high-speed railway has changed the mode of cooperation between cities in the provinces, inter-regional and inter-provincial cooperation models gradually become popular. 2) The change rate of accessibility and the urban scale present significant spatial coupling phenomena, with the change rate of the Harbin-Dalian trunk lines and its surroundings being more significant. 3) There are predominantly four modes of the influence of high-speed railway on the urban scale, which make difference city present expansion or shrinkage.  相似文献

Mobile information and communication technologies(MICTs) have fully penetrated everyday life in smart societies;this has greatly compressed time, space, and distance, and consequently, reshaped residents’ travel behaviour patterns. As a new mode of shared mobility, the sharing bicycle offers a variety of options for the daily travel of urban residents. Extant studies have mainly examined the travel characteristics and influencing factors of public bicycles with piles, while the travel patterns for sharing bicycles and their driving mechanisms have been largely ignored. Using one week’s travel data for Mobike, this study investigated the spatial and temporal distribution patterns of sharing bicycle travel behaviours in the central urban area of Guangzhou, China;furthermore, it identified the influences of built environment density factors on sharing bicycle travel behaviours based on the geographically weighted regression method. Obvious morning and evening peaks were observed in the sharing bicycle travel patterns for both weekdays and weekends. The old urban area, which had a high degree of mixed function, dense road networks, and cycling-friendly built environments, was the main travel area that attracted sharing bicycles on both weekdays and weekends. Furthermore, factors including the point of interest(POI) for the density of public transport stations, the functional mixing degree, and the density of residential POIs significantly affected residents’ travel behaviours. These findings could enrich discourse regarding shared mobility with a Chinese case characterised by rapidly developing MICTs and also provide references to local authorities for improving slow traffic environments.  相似文献

由于城镇化发展迅速、居民对医疗服务需求的提高,使得城市人口密集区域医疗服务压力增大,因此进行医疗服务设施可达性分析具有重要意义。本文以福州市主城区为例,医疗数据来自于福州市卫健委,利用爬虫技术获得小区户数进行人口估算,基于早、中、晚各时段的实时路况信息,计算居民点到医疗服务设施的最优路径旅行时间,并绘制医疗服务等时区,利用高斯距离衰减函数改进的两步移动搜法(Gaussian-Two Step Floating Catchment Area Method, Ga-2SFCA),考虑出行模式,对福州市主城区二级以上医院进行可达性分析。结果表明:(1)驾车出行模式下,医疗服务覆盖率和居民就医可达性要明显好于公共交通出行模式;(2)驾车出行模式下,医疗服务可达性受出行时段影响较大;而公共交通出行方式下,各时段差异较小;(3)随着时间阈值的增大,居民点的医疗服务可达性等级提升,且高等级可达性范围逐渐扩大;(4)驾车模式下的医疗可达性空间分布和道路保持一致,呈现出“环线层次”的现象;而公共交通模式下的可达性空间分布由于受到城市公交微循环系统的影响,呈现出“轴向扩张”的现象。  相似文献

China’s transition from a planned economy to a market economy has resulted in many changes in its urban structure and society and provided an opportunity for a quasi-longitudinal case study on the relationship between the built environment and activity-travel behavior.This paper draws upon data from an activity diary survey conducted in Beijing in 2007.The survey sample comprised 652 residents living in Danwei(work unit),commodity housing,and affordable housing neighborhoods.On the basis of the three-dimensional geo-visualization analysis of the space-time path and statistical multivariate regression models of daily travel and leisure time,it was found that both residential spatial factors and socio-demographics influence residents’ daily behaviors.The findings show that Danwei residents have less daily travel time than those who live in commodity housing,but people living in affordable housing endure the longest travel time.Daily leisure time is associated more with individual attributes.We argue that although China’s transition is currently gradual,the Danwei system may continue to play significant roles in daily life,and it might provide a valuable model for neighborhood spatial planning.  相似文献

Since its process evolved in recent years, the definition of gentrification has expanded to cover different forms of social upgrading, new spaces and new actors around the world. Studies on gentrification in Chinese cities began to take off in the 2000 s. However, they all mainly focused on the newly emerging global cities and there has been a lack of investigation on provincial cities. Furthermore, discussions on gentrifiers′ profiles and their motivations for housing choice are absent from literature on Chinese gentrification. Therefore, this paper aims to assess the relevance of the broad definition of gentrification in provincial Chinese cities through empirical research on urban redevelopment projects in Chengdu, and to examine the characteristics of gentrifiers(as new incoming residents) in it. The results show the rationality of gentrification processes as urban redevelopment in Chengdu, and reveal original outcomes on the corresponding gentrifiers′ profiles and the motivations behind their housing choice, which are different from the general features of gentrifiers in standard Western gentrification research.  相似文献

遥感地表能量信息能够反映城市生态系统成分、作用与影响关系。本研究从城市生态系统的角度,提取能反映城市下垫面地物实体综合特征、作用与影响关系的相对地表能量信息,针对不同区域、规模与类型城市的地表能量空间分布及特征,建立了定量化的城市相对地表能量分级与评价指标。探讨国际“宜居型城市”生态系统结构、功能、形态及其时空变化特征和规律。结果表明:(1)城市实体空间建筑群的形状、体量,街道与建筑的朝向和配置关系,以及硬质化表面开放性的差异影响城市地表能量的分布。(2)建筑物周边的植被覆盖程度、建筑物之间的空间关系、广场和街道的开放性等,是维持城市开敞空间与实体空间的混合区域地表能量平衡的基础。宜居城市中心周围的大规模低密度居住区构成以中等能量分布为主的城市地表能量缓冲与过渡区。(3)城市开敞空间的地表能量变化幅度比实体空间大,宜居城市开敞空间的中、低地表能量分布占有较高比例。(4)宜居城市实体空间的高能量斑块呈现规模较小和分布相对分散的状态。采用相对地表能量分级与评价指标,可为各类城市规划与设计提供科学依据。  相似文献

The spatial characteristics of residents' leisure activities not only reflect their demand for urban leisure space but also affect the urban spatial layout. This study takes Shenyang, China as an example and analyzes the characteristics of residents' leisure activities through questionnaires. On this basis, it uses point of interest data and mobile phone signaling data to identify various types of residential and leisure functional relationships, and uses spatial analysis and community detection to assess the distance characteristics, flow patterns, and community structure of residents' leisure activities, so as to discuss the spatial structure of residents' leisure activities in Shenyang. The results showed that: 1) in addition to leisure at home, Shenyang residents mainly went to shopping malls, supermarkets,and parks for leisure activities, and the proportions of residents of the two types of leisure activities were approximately equal; 2) the average distances that residents traveled for shopping and park leisure were near in the middle and far in the periphery, and the travel costs of peripheral residents for centrally located leisure were higher than those for residents in central areas; 3) the flow patterns of the residential-shopping and residential-park functional relationships displayed clustering mode characteristics, and Shenyang presented a significant monocentric structure; and 4) residents' shopping activities were concentrated in the southern community, and walking in the park activities were concentrated in the western community. Residents' leisure activities were characterized by centripetal agglomeration,which was prone to problems such as traffic congestion and big city diseases. The spatial expansion process in the city was characterized by obvious directional inheritance and path dependence, and the construction of sub-cities is needed to improve the related service facilities.  相似文献

良好的健康和人类福祉是联合国提出的可持续发展目标之一,提高人口预期寿命是迈向此目标的重要一步。由于中国城市在自然环境和社会发展方面有所差异,因此理解不同城市居民的预期寿命主要受何种因素的影响是制定城市公共卫生策略的关键。本研究基于2015年中国286个城市的有效数据,利用探索性回归、普通最小二乘回归、地理加权回归筛选与预期寿命最相关的影响因素并探索其空间差异,再通过二阶聚类将城市分类,以针对性地提出每类城市政策建议。结果显示:① 经济发展,教育条件和医疗设施条件对预期寿命有显著的积极影响,平均海拔和环境污染则具有负面影响;② 东南地区的经济发展对当地居民的预期寿命影响程度更大;东北和西南地区的医疗设施条件对其居民预期寿命促进程度更高;北部地区的教育条件对当地居民预期寿命影响比其他地区更高;平均海拔对西部地区居民预期寿命的影响最大;西北地区居民的预期寿命则更易受到环境污染带来的负面影响;③ 根据空间差异将城市分为3类,其居民预期寿命关键影响因素依次是经济发展和环境污染、教育条件、医疗设施,每类城市的城市管理者应重点关注不同因素来提升居民的预期寿命。  相似文献

Smart urban development is an inevitable choice, and is essential to overall strength improvement. It is important to explore an urban smart development path which unites smart growth with driving shrinkage perfectly in forming scientific and sustainable development concept and responding to new normal strategic opportunities. Based on statistic data of 294 prefecture-level cities and above in China from 2000 to 2015, we analyzed spatial and temporal evolution of urban smart development in China by constructing a dynamic fitting model of urban land expansion, population growth, and economic development as well as the coefficient of variation of urban smart development(CVSD). Further efforts were then made to consider differential distribution regularity of urban smart development so as to understand the driving mechanisms of heterogeneous classification of urban smart development in China from different scales and scale variation. Our results indicate that: 1) the disordered growth tendency of urban cities in China is overall well controlled in the middle, and late research and it mainly presented a doublet coexistence of shrinkage disordered cities and smart developing cities. It is particularly obvious that Northeast China and East China have regarded shrinkage disordered cities and smart developing cities as main development tendency separately. 2) Areas with basic stability and relative variation were relatively dispersed across the time period, but the proportion was far beyond areas with significant variation. It demonstrates a relative equilibrium spatial and temporal differential evolution pattern of prefecture-level cities and above in China, except for Tongling, Lanzhou and Chaoyang. 3) prefecture-level cities and above in China are mostly characterized by shrinkage disordered and smart development classification under the background of different scale and scale variation from 2000–2015; however, the spatial resonance relation is not obvious. 4) There are many interaction factors forming an important driving mechanism in developing the spatial and temporal pattern of urban smart development in China, including natural geographical factors, industrial structure adjustment, human capital radiation, regional traffic accessibility, and government decision-making intervention.  相似文献

交通与土地利用的协调发展是缓解城市交通拥堵、提升交通水平的关键。城市交通与土地利用一体化模型则是分析和模拟城市交通与土地利用相互作用过程的重要科学支撑。多年来不同国家学者已研发出一些操作模型,并用于城市空间政策的制定研究,但这些模型的核心算法仍需进一步升级完善。本文首先梳理了当前已有主流模型的理论特征,解析了这些模型的核心算法发展及其优缺点;然后针对关键算法的不足,提出新的综合均衡模型,就区位可达性、用地混合度与强度、出行成本3个关键变量的核心算法展开讨论;最后,进一步形成模型各子模块的算法创新,包括考虑增量离散选择过程的居住与就业区位决策模块、细分房地产类型并将土地开发结果动态反馈至城市用地演变的房地产开发模块、采用改进的阻抗函数、小汽车拥有情况和动态出行成本的交通综合模型。本文对于定量化分析模拟城市复杂系统、研发我国城市交通与土地利用一体化模型具有一定的参考价值。  相似文献

中国已经成为全世界城市轨道交通建设里程最长、建设速度最快的国家,合理识别城市轨道站点类别与影响不同类别站点客流特征的建成环境因素对轨道交通的建设具有十分重要的作用。因此,本文以武汉市为例,通过轨道交通刷卡数据,运用引入客流特征的EM聚类方法,将轨道交通站点分为职住错位型、居住导向型、就业导向型、居住综合型、就业综合型、综合型6类。并在此基础上,建立无序多分类logistic回归模型,定量分析站点客流吸引范围内建成环境因素对不同类型站点轨道交通客流特征的影响。结果表明:以综合型站点为对照组,路网密度和交叉口密度对所有类型站点的客流特征有显著影响,低路网密度高交叉口密度更有利于职住平衡;公交车站密度与就业导向型站点的客流特征存在负相关;商务用地占比对职住错位型、居住导向型、居住综合型站点有负向关系;服务业设施用地占比与职住错位型、居住导向型和就业综合型站点的客流特征负相关;科研教育用地占比与居住导向型和就业导向型站点客流特征负相关;土地利用混合度与居住导向型和就业综合型站点的客流特征负相关。研究结论将对武汉市轨道交通建设、轨道交通和土地利用协调发展等具有重要意义。  相似文献

In metropolitan regions, the change in the strength of"flows" between a core city and surrounding cities reflects the range of the core city's influence, while the gravity between core city and other cities reflects the strength of potential relation between them. This article firstly attempts to delimit the boundary of metropolitan regions with the two dimensions measure combining "flows" and gravitation. The former is measured through the flow of people between the core city and surrounding cities, and the latter is measured through both population and gross domestic products (GDP) of the core city and surrounding cities. The hierarchy of the cities within a metropolitan region is classified in order to emphasize the roles of the cities belonging to the metropolitan regions, different from the general way through population scale and administrative level, and is typical in China. This paper uses the Shanghai metropolitan region as a research case, determining boundary of this metropolitan region clearly and classifying hierarchy of the cities within the region. The final results are significantly different to previous work, even overthrowing the traditional system of urban hierarchy partly. It is helpful to highlight the function of cities in organizing the regional economy, the level structure of metropolitan regions, and each city's relative importance in a metropolitan region, which can be taken as scientific basis for planning integrated regions or urban systems.  相似文献

大城市公共交通是一个典型的复杂巨系统,采用复杂网络方法分析大城市公共交通网络系统对于城市交通发展具有重要意义。已有大量的研究采用复杂网络理论进行了公共交通线路网络分析,也有研究基于刷卡数据分析了公共交通客流网络的复杂特征,但少有研究探讨客流网络复杂性日内变化特征。鉴于此,本文基于北京市公共汽车刷卡数据识别的不同时间段客流双向邻接矩阵,通过复杂网络指标对比分析公共汽车客流网络的日内变化特征。结果表明:① 各个时间段公共汽车客流分布遵循距离衰减规律,5 km以下的短距离出行约占总出行量的一半左右;② 度中心性和加权度中心性的空间格局在不同时间段整体呈现出明显的核心-边缘特征,但随时间有一定程度的变化,加权度中心性排名前10的节点存在较大变化;③ 累积度分布和累积加权度分布服从指数分布,属于小世界网络。本文还进一步讨论了基于大数据的动态复杂网络研究对城市交通规划建设的启示意义。  相似文献
