The existence of cracks in a rock mass causes the reduction of seismic wave velocity and the anisotropy of seismic wave velocity, which is characteristic for rocks with preferred orientation of cracks. The present study concerns sedimentary rocks (sandstone, limestone) and igneous rocks (basalt, granite). Studying the relationship between seismic anisotropy and cracks anisotropy in rocks I was only interested in fractures perpendicular to the layering. This allowed me to calculate two-dimensional crack tensors and velocity tensors in planes parallel to the layer surface. An application of tensor calculus enables to take into account both geometry and orientation of cracks. The obtained results confirm that the directions of major axes of second-rank velocity tensor prove the relationship consistent with predictions of theoretical models. Owing to these dependences, seismic methods can be used to study the cracks anisotropy in rocks inaccessible for direct observations.  相似文献

基于均匀设计法,考虑围岩和衬砌的不确定性,提出了一种高效计算山岭隧道地震易损性的模型。基于该模型,得到了计算岩石山岭隧道结构的易损性计算曲线。根据计算结果得出:(1)均匀设计法能够考虑多种不确定性并为计算生成好的样本参数;(2)根据计算所得的地震结构易损性曲线与经验易损性曲线相对比,得出所提出的计算模型有较好的适用性。当交通隧道穿越地震带时,所提出的地震易损性曲线分析可为隧道线路规划以及设计参考。  相似文献

Use of a field technique recently devised by Selby for the measurement of rock mass strength has resulted in the understanding of the relationship between rock mass strength and slope form. It is suggested that the accuracy of rock mass strength assessments may be enhanced by further subdividing the rating scales for intact rock strength and the spacing of partings. The relationship between rock mass strength and gradient is reformulated using southern African data, and statistically based confidence limits for identifying strength equilibrium slopes are proposed.  相似文献

A complex of methodology, instrumentation, and software tools is worked out, which makes it possible to accomplish high-precision measurements of permeability for a single-phase fluid and its anisotropy within a wide range of values both under the normal conditions and high temperature and pressure.The transient method, modified with allowance for the dependence of the properties of a percolating gas on the parameters of its state, enables one to simultaneously determine, from the data of a single experiment, the permeability values for a sample of condensed fluid and the Klinkenberg constant, which characterizes the pore space of rock. This approach made it possible to substantially increase the accuracy of measurements, reducing their labor-intensiveness.The method of varying the flow shape makes it possible to simultaneously determine, in the course of a single experiment, the axial and radial components of the permeability tensor of anisotropic rocks with layered structure. The instrumentation and software implementing these new methodologies are developed and thoroughly tested.  相似文献

The propagation characteristics of blast-induced shock waves in a jointed rock mass have been monitored and studied. Accelerometers were set up on a rock surface along three lines, at 0°, 45° and 90° with respect to the orientation of the predominant joint strikes. Cylindrical charges were detonated in a charge hole, and ground accelerations in both vertical and radial directions at various points on the rock surface were recorded. Results show that rock joints have significant effects on the propagation characteristics of blast-induced shock waves. The amplitude and principal frequency of shock waves attenuate with the increase of distance from the charge centre, and the increase of incident angle between the joint strike and the wave propagation path. The measured data were compared with the empirical equations of shock wave attenuation proposed by other authors. The mechanism of rock joint effect, the attenuation of shock waves in relation to the propagation distance, the charge weight and the incident angle, are discussed in this paper.  相似文献

An in-situ experimental program in a jointed rock mass was designed and implemented to investigate the rock joint effects on stress wave propagation. Accelerometers were placed on rock surface along three lines at 0, 45 and 90° to the predominant rock joint strike direction. Eight blasts were detonated in a charge hole drilled in the rock mass. The equivalent TNT blast weight ranged from 2.5 to 50.0 kg and the loading density (charge weight divided by the charge chamber volume) varied from 1 to 20.0 kg/m3. A fully coupled detonation with a charge weight of 25.0 kg was also exploded to study the coupling effect. The recorded data are presented and analyzed in this paper. The effects of rock joints on characteristics of stress wave propagation such as peak value attenuation, spectrum, and spatial variations are discussed.  相似文献

Results of five-year electromagnetic monitoring of a rock mass of the Tashtagol mine are presented. The introduction of the interval intensity parameter for disintegration zones is shown to be instrumental in the numerical classification of the rock mass state in terms of three gradations: stable, unstable, and intermediate. Disintegration zones of stable and unstable rock masses are shown to differ in spatial dynamics.  相似文献

The results of simulated tidal current field, wave field and storm-induced current field are employed to interpret the depositional dynamic mechanism of formation and evolution of the radial sand ridges on the Yellow Sea door. The anticlockwise rotary tidal wave to the south of Shandong Peninsula meets the following progressive tidal wave from the South Yellow Sea, forming a radial current field outside Jianggang. This current field provides a necessary dynamic condition for the formation and existence of the radial sand ridges on the Yellow Sea seafloor. The results of simulated “old current field (holocene)” show that there existed a convergent-divergent tidal zone just outside the palaeo-Yangtze River estuary where a palaeo-underwater accumulation was developed. The calculated results from wave models indicate that the wave impact on the topography, under the condition of high water level and strong winds, is significant. The storm current induced by typhoons landing in the Yangtze River estuary and turning away to the sea can have an obvious influence, too, on the sand ridges. The depmitional dynamic mechanism of formation and evolution of the radial sand ridges on the Yellow Sea seafloor is “tidal current-induced formation—storm-induced chang—tidal current-induced recovery”. 联络通道与盾构隧道的连接处是隧道抗震的薄弱环节,但目前有关联络通道抗震性能的研究开展得还很少。对于隧道与联络通道连接部位这类典型的空间结构,三维动力有限元分析是最为有效的方法,而其中的人工边界条件和地震动输入方法是实现这一方法的关键技术之一。本文以显式形式将多次透射边界条件引入三维动力分析控制方程,采用分割算法分别求解边界节点和内部节点的响应,然后以对武汉长江隧道工程为背景,利用这种算法研究了隧道与联络通道连接处的地震响应规律,并对采用柔性搭接代替刚性接头和地基加固两种措施的减振效果进行了计算分析。  相似文献

地铁隧道爆破施工时严重威胁邻近居民楼的结构安全,因此研究邻近居民楼爆破峰值振速是非常必要的。文章基于群孔荷载简化模型、柱面波理论及传统的应力波衰减理论,在考虑高程效应影响下推导质点峰值振速公式。依托乌鲁木齐地铁一号线工程,对一邻近六层居民楼的爆破施工响应进行监测,并将实测质点峰值振速、提出的修正公式预测振速和传统萨道夫公式预测的振速进行对比分析。研究结果表明:采用修正公式预测的质点峰值振速与现场实测值的分布规律一致,呈现出随着高程增大而逐渐增大的趋势;而且现场实测值与修正公式预测值相对误差较小,表明考虑高程因子的修正公式是可行的。  相似文献

An intelligent system for monitoring anomalous seismic processes intended for predicting the beginning of an earthquake by standard ground-based stations is presented. The problem is solved by analyzing the seismoacoustic signals coming from deep layers of the Earth. Rock glaciers contain valuable information about the spatial and temporal distribution of permafrost. The wide distribution of these landforms in high mountains promotes them as useful archives for the deciphering of the environmental conditions during their formation and evolution. However, age constraints are needed to unravel the palaeoclimatic context of rock glaciers, but numerical dating is difficult. Here, we present a case study assessing the potential of luminescence techniques (OSL, IRSL) to date the inner sand-rich layer of active rock glaciers. We focus on the signal properties and the resetting of the signal prior to deposition by investigating single grains. While most quartz shows low signal intensities and problematic luminescence characteristics, K-feldspar exhibits much brighter and well-performing signals. Most signals from plagioclases do not show suitable properties. Luminescence signals far below saturation indicate distinct but differential bleaching. The finite mixture model was used to determine the prominent populations in the equivalent dose distributions. The luminescence ages represent travel times of grains since incorporation into the rock glacier and hence, minimum ages of rock glacier formation. Luminescence ages between 3 ka and 8 ka for three rock glaciers from the Upper Engadine and Albula region (Swiss Alps) agree well with independent age estimates from relative and semi-quantitative approaches. Therefore, luminescence seems to have the potential of revealing age constraints about processes related to the formation of rock glaciers, but further investigations are required for solving some of the problems remaining and reducing the dating uncertainties.  相似文献

The hydrodynamic behavior of fissured media relies on the relationships between a few very conductive fractures (channels) and the remaining low-conductivity fractures and matrix (blocks). We made a quantitative measurement of those relationships and their effect on water drainage and storage in a 19,000 m3 natural reservoir consisting of karstified limestones. This reservoir was artificially saturated with water by closing a water gate on the main outlet during a varying time (delta t) fixed by the operator. The water gate was completely or partly closed until the water pressure reached a particular specified value. If the water gate was left completely closed long enough, the water pressure was fixed by the elevation of temporary outlets at the site boundaries. The water elevation within the reservoir was monitored by means of pressure cells located on single fractures representative of the bedding plane and the two families of fractures of the massif network. The comparison of pressure variations with the network geometry allows us to identify a typical double permeability characterized by a few very conductive channels along 10 vertical faults. These channels limit blocks consisting of low-conductivity bedding planes and a rather impervious matrix. Depending on the closure interval, delta t, of the water gate, the total volume of water stored in the reservoir can vary from 0.8 m3 (delta t = 5 minutes) to 18.6 m3 (delta t = 2 days). Such a variance of storage versus closure time is explained by the reservoir's double permeability that is characterized by blocks that saturate much more slowly than channels. If plotted versus time, this injected volume fits a power relationship, according to the saturation state of the blocks. In less than 34 minutes, storage is close to zero in the blocks and to 1.6 to 2 m3 in the channels. For closing times shorter than 1 hour, only 1% of the volume that flows in the channels is stored into the blocks. Depending on the water pressure and for a given delta t = 3000 minutes, the volume of water stored is controlled by the geometry of the joint network and of the aquifer boundaries. Such an experiment shows that the flow is concentrated in about 10% of the fractured network (channels). The water storage that takes place in the 90% remaining fractures (blocks) depends mainly on time during which pressure remains high into the 10% channels. The accurate modeling of such typical double-permeability media needs a careful study of the geometry of the channels whose narrowings modify the flow and induce dam effects that maintain a high pressure gradient with surrounding blocks.  相似文献

A numerical model for groundwater flow and solute transport was employed to examine the influence of the screen and sandpack on the collection of a representative geochemical sample from a piezometer monitoring well installation in a discretely fractured bedrock aquifer. The optimization of screen and sandpack combinations was explored for the potential to reduce purging times and volumes in practice. Simulations accounted for the location of the fractures along the well screen, fracture aperture, screen length, and the pumping rate. The variability in the required purging times (t(99)-the time required to achieve 99% fractional contribution from the formation to pump discharge) can be explained by: (1) the relative hydraulic conductivities of the components of the system (fracture, sandpack, and screen), (2) the truncation of the flow field from the fracture to the screen by the upper and/or lower boundary of the sandpack of the flow field from another fracture, and (3) time-dependent drawdown. During pumping, only a portion of the sandpack may actually become hydraulically active. The optimal configuration (shortest purging time) is achieved when the ratios of the screen, sandpack, and fracture hydraulic conductivities are close to 1:1:1. More importantly, the role of the fracture hydraulic conductivity in the ratios is not as crucial to reducing t(99) as having the hydraulic conductivities of the screen and sandpack as similar as possible. This study provides a better understanding of well dynamics during pumping for the purpose of obtaining representative groundwater samples.  相似文献

Vertical profiles of the streamwise mass flux of blown sand in the near-bed (< 17 mm) region are analysed from high-resolution measurements made using an optical sensor in a wind tunnel. This analysis is complemented by detailed measurements of mass flux and mean velocity profiles throughout the boundary layer depth (0·17 m) using passive, chambered sand traps of small dimensions and armoured thermal anemometers, respectively. The data permit a preliminary analysis of the relations between the observed forms of the profiles of near-bed fluid stress and horizontal mass flux within a carefully conditioned boundary layer. Profiles of mass flux density are found to be characterized by three regions of differing gradient with transitions at about 2 mm and 19 mm above the bed. The exponential decay of mass flux with height is confirmed for elevations above 19 mm, and when plotted as a function of u*2/g (a parameter of mean vertical trajectory height in saltation), the gradient of mass flux in this region scales with the wake-corrected friction velocity (u), where u > 0·30 m s−1. A separate near-bed region of more intense transport below 19 mm is identified which carries 80 per cent of the total mass flux. This region is evident in some previous field and wind tunnel data but not in profiles simulated by numerical models. Ventilated passive sand traps underestimate mass flux in this region by 37 per cent. At slow or moderate wind speeds a third significant region below 2 mm is observed. These regions are likely to be related to grain populations in successive saltation, low-energy ejections and intermittent bed contact, respectively. Optical measurements reveal locally high grain concentrations at some elevations below 5 mm; these heights scale with transport rate, mass flux gradient and wind speed. 从能量释放的角度讨论了深部岩体开挖激发微地震的机制. 研究表明, 伴随着爆破破岩新自由面形成而发生的岩体弹性应变能释放属于瞬态过程, 高地应力条件下爆破开挖产生的微地震由爆炸荷载和初始地应力(开挖荷载)瞬态释放耦合作用引起. 地应力瞬态释放激发的微地震可成为周围岩体振动的主要组成部分, 这有赖于岩体自身的蓄能能力、岩体开挖方式及开挖面的大小. 通过瀑布沟地下厂房爆破开挖过程中实测围岩地震信号的时能密度和幅值谱分析, 对地应力瞬态释放激发的微地震进行了识别. 耦合地震信号的低频成分主要由初始地应力瞬态卸荷引起,而高频成分主要由爆炸荷载引起. 应用数字信号处理的FIR滤波方法对耦合振动信号进行了初步分离,数值计算验证了分离结果的可靠性.   相似文献

为了掌握断层构造带对周围岩体地质力学的影响程度及范围,以金川Ⅲ矿区+1165m水平巷道为工程背景,进行了现场调查、试验研究和理论分析等研究.首先,在了解工程概况的基础上,分别分析了主要构造、地层岩性和地应力分布规律.然后,采用详细线观测法进行结构面的现场调查,结果表明越靠近F2断层的岩体,受其影响程度越大,稳定性就越差;可将影响范围分为断层带(0~84m)、断层影响带(84~117m)、破碎带(117~146m)和节理带(146~180m)四个区域;采用数理统计方法分析不同影响区域的岩体节理密度和分布情况,表明整个影响范围之内岩体的完整系数Kv为0.5左右.最后,采用X衍射仪和扫描电镜对调查区域内的岩体进行矿物成分和微观损伤分析,表明从断层带至节理带,其岩体受构造影响程度逐渐减小,先是呈松散泥状岩体,然后由破碎状态过程到节理发育的岩体.巷道变形调查结果表明,岩体受断层影响程度越大,巷道的整体变形程度也越大,其支护形式也不一样.这些调查与研究结果对于深部巷道的掘进和大硐室开挖具有十分重要的参考价值.  相似文献

由于附加质量法具有方便,无损等优点,近年来在堆石体密度的检测中已经有了较为广泛的应用,但是目前对于该方法的研究仍不够深入,而且常用的附加质量法测试过程仍然有一定缺陷,需要进一步改进.本文以在糯扎渡水电站进行的一系列实验为基础,对附加质量法检测堆石体密度中存在的一些问题进行了研究并提出了改进建议,主要包括:1)通过公式推导和实验发现,当附加质量的级数较小时,主频提取的误差会对刚度的测试结果造成较大的影响,建议将附加质量的级数由常见的5级增加到10级以上;2)通过对实验数据的分析发现目前的主频数据确定方法包含较强的主观因素,容易造成较大的误差,而采用t检验准则剔除异常数据并求取算术平均值的主频统计确定方案更为合理;3)利用实验研究了测试参数及质量块旁边放置重物对主频提取的影响情况,发现偏移距和震源高度及质量块旁边放置重物对主频的数值都有一定的影响,而且震源高度较高,偏移距较小时主频提取的稳定性较高.因此建议测试过程中应保证震源参数不变,偏移距取20cm,震源高度取60cm.并且在距离质量块1m以内的区域内应尽量避免放置重物,尤其是尽量避免放置重量接近或超过质量块的重物.本文的研究结果有助于提高附加质量法在测定堆石体密度时的准确性.  相似文献
