We studied veins in the Triassic Buntsandstein of the Lower Saxony Basin (NW Germany) with the aim of quantifying the evolution of in-situ stress, fluids and material transport. Different generations of veins are observed. The first generation formed in weakly consolidated rocks without a significant increase in fracture permeability and was filled syntectonically with fibrous calcite and blocky to elongate-blocky quartz. The stable isotopic signature (δ18O and δ13C) indicates that the calcite veins precipitated from connate water at temperatures of 55–122°C. The second vein generation was syntectonically filled with blocky anhydrite, which grew in open fractures. Fluid inclusions indicate that the anhydrite veins precipitated at a minimum temperature of 150°C from hypersaline brines. Based on δ34S measurements, the source of the sulphate was found in the underlying Zechstein evaporites. The macro- and microstructures indicate that all veins were formed during subsidence and that the anhydrite veins were formed under conditions of overpressure, generated by inflation rather than non-equilibrium compaction. The large amount of fluids which are formed by the dehydrating gypsum in the underlying Zechstein and are released into the Buntsandstein during progressive burial form a likely source of overpressures and the anhydrite forming fluids.  相似文献

The Lower Saxony Basin, Germany, is one of the several sedimentary basins within the Central European Basin system. In its southwestern part, anomalously high maturity of organic matter has been observed to reach 4.5% VRr in Upper Jurassic and Lower Cretaceous sedimentary rocks in an area which coincides with a magnetic and a positive gravimetric anomaly. This anomaly was often interpreted as the consequence of a deep-seated igneous intrusion, the so-called Bramsche Massif. However, results obtained from calibrated numerical modelling are not in accordance with this scenario. Instead, a burial by approximately 4 km of now-eroded Cretaceous rocks was revealed to be the probable cause for the anomaly. Data and modelling results from six boreholes and two pseudo-wells support this view.  相似文献

The southwestern part of the Lower Saxony Basin (LSB) is characterized by gravity and magnetic anomalies and by an extremely high thermal maturity of organic matter. This was for many years attributed to a Late Cretaceous intrusion, but actually deep burial is being debated. The complex thermal history of the area has been studied by fission track analysis. Zircon data provide evidence for widespread (hydro)thermal activity during the Permian and Upper Jurassic/Lower Cretaceous. Apatite ages indicate a major cooling event in the mid Cretaceous (∼89–72 Ma) reflecting the time of inversion of the LSB. During the Cretaceous, the cooling of the basin centre was rapid compared to the basin margins. Apatite fission track ages from borehole samples which are recently within the upper part of the APAZ indicate a young heating of the sedimentary sequences until present.  相似文献

This paper presents the findings of a collaborative research project of the Geological Survey of Lower Saxony (NLfB) and the Programme Group Systems Analysis and Technology Evaluation (STE) of Research Centre Jülich on the GIS-based determination of the mean long-term groundwater recharge in Lower Saxony using high-resolution digital data (Dörhöfer and others 2001). The model calculations were performed on the basis of the water-balance model GROWA (Kunkel and Wendland 2002) with a spatial resolution of 100x100 m2. The accuracy of the calculated groundwater recharge values for the period 1961–1990 was verified on the basis of data from gauging stations and displayed a good agreement between observed runoff values and model results.  相似文献

近几年的勘探开发发现,鄂尔多斯盆地东南缘下二叠统具有巨大的非常规天然气资源潜力。为探明其沉积环境,在详细的岩心、测井及室内分析化验的基础上,运用沉积学理论,对鄂尔多斯盆地东南缘下二叠统沉积相进行研究。研究结果表明:太原组发育障壁岛、泻湖、潮坪、浅海陆棚沉积,山西组发育三角洲、湖泊沉积;自太原组至山西组沉积环境经历了由海陆过渡相至陆相的演化过程。  相似文献

位于扬子板块东部的下扬子盆地,在石炭纪时,为被动大陆边缘的陆表海沉积,陆源碎屑来自于北边的胶南古陆和南边的江南古陆东延部分─—皖浙赣古陆。石炭系分为上、下两统。早石炭世,盆地南部宣城、广德等地主要发育碎屑岩,中部巢县、南京一带以及北部滨海、洪泽一带为碎屑岩和碳酸盐岩沉积。从南往北,金陵期从滨岸碎屑岩相→开阔海台地碳酸盐岩相→潮坪碳酸盐岩和碎屑岩相;高骊山期为滨岸平原沼泽碎屑岩相→浅海陆棚碎屑岩相→海岸萨布哈白云岩、石膏、碎屑岩相;和州期盆地南部隆起,中部到北部为礁及礁后泻湖一潮坪碳酸盐岩相→开阔海台地碳酸盐相。晚石炭世主要是碳酸盐沉积,黄龙期从滨岸石英砾岩相→潮坪白云岩相→开阔海台地碳酸盐岩相;船山期是黄龙期开阔海台地碳酸盐岩相的继续,以发育核形石生物碎屑颗粒岩为特征。整个盆地的岩相带均以NEE—NE方向展布。  相似文献

鄂尔多斯盆地北部山西组页岩气储层与煤层共生,页岩有机质含量较高,具有较大的资源勘探潜力。为精细表征控制山西组页岩储层分布的沉积微相,根据测井数据、录井数据、岩芯观察描述、薄片分析、粒度分析、X射线衍射全岩分析以及总有机碳含量(TOC),研究了山西组页岩储层岩相与沉积微相类型,在山西组识别出(灰)黑色碳质页岩、(灰)黑色含碳质页岩、(灰)黑色含碳质(粉)砂质页岩、(深)灰色含碳质页岩、(深)灰色页岩、(深)灰色(粉)砂质页岩和含钙质页岩7种岩相。这些岩相沉积在富植沼泽、贫植沼泽、三角洲平原分流间洼地、曲流河河间洼地、天然堤与决口扇远端微相环境,其中富植沼泽、贫植沼泽与成煤的泥炭沼泽、泥炭坪环境比邻共生,且在山二段时期更发育。富植沼泽和贫植沼泽微相控制了具有较高TOC的(灰)黑色碳质页岩、(灰)黑色含碳质页岩、(灰)黑色含碳质(粉)砂质页岩和(深)灰色含碳质页岩的分布,是控制山西组页岩储层分布的有利微相。  相似文献

The Middle Oxfordian of the eastern Paris Basin constitutes a remarkable example of the growth and demise of a carbonate platform. Fischer plots, sedimentary and diagenetic features allow the identification of four depositional cycles (S5 to S8) in the Transversarium Zone; they are inserted in a lower frequency cycle of increased/decreased accommodation space (SoIII). The long‐term period of accommodation creation occurred during the older S5 and S6 cycles, the maximum accommodation zone being located in the lower part of the S6 cycle. This high accommodation period was tectonically controlled and was coeval with local distensive activity of a Hercynian fault. A major minimum accommodation zone exists during the S8 cycle. At that time, the platform was isolated and presented both a windward and a leeward margin. The growth of the platform was favoured by a warm and arid climate, oligotrophic conditions and reduced siliciclastic input during a highstand in relative sea‐level. These palaeoenvironmental features favoured the proliferation of phototrophic organisms producing carbonate material. The death of the platform was generated by a reduction in the carbonate production surface during a lowstand in relative sea‐level and by the appearance of mesotrophic conditions induced by the increase in siliciclastic inputs at the beginning of a period with a cooler and more humid climate. In the eastern Paris Basin, during the Middle Oxfordian, the parasequences are ordered and present ‘greenhouse’ characteristics. In contrast, at the beginning of the S8 cycle, the randomness in the thickness of contiguous parasequences increased. Decreased carbonate production during the lowstand caused by a transition from photozoan to heterozoan benthic communities certainly favoured this randomness and the appearance of catch‐down parasequences.  相似文献

根据岩心的精细描述,结合大量开发井的对比分析,研究了准噶尔盆地彩南地区侏罗系八道湾组上部和三工河组下部砂层组的沉积微相和骨架砂体的分布特点。认为研究区侏罗系八道湾组第3岩性段(BD3)和三工河组第1岩性段(S1)是一套网状河流相沉积。网状河流相可进一步划分为3种亚相(河道、堤岸和越岸湿地)和6种微相类型。主要的储集体是河道砂体和个别决口扇砂体。在平面上河道砂体呈狭窄、相互连接的条带状,砂体的宽度一般在1000m以下,大多为300~800m;决口扇砂体规模一般较小,在横剖面中呈凸透镜状,在平面上常常呈舌状或叶状分布。  相似文献

Abstract Explosive volcanic activity is recorded in the Upper Jurassic of the Paris Basin and the Subalpine Basin of France by the identification of five bentonite horizons. These layers occur in Lower Oxfordian (cordatum ammonite zone) to Middle Oxfordian (plicatilis zone) clays and silty clays deposited in outer platform environments. In the Paris Basin, a thick bentonite (10–15 cm), identified in boreholes and in outcrop, is dominated by dioctahedral smectite (95%) with trace amounts of kaolinite, illite and chlorite. In contrast, five bentonites identified in the Subalpine Basin, where burial diagenesis and fluid circulation were more important, are composed of a mixture of kaolinite and regular or random illite/smectite mixed-layer clays in variable proportions, indicating a K-bentonite. In the Subalpine Basin, a 2–15 cm thick bentonite underlain by a layer affected by sulphate–carbonate mineralization can be correlated over 2000 km2. Euhedral zircon, apatite and biotite crystals have been identified in all the bentonites. The geochemical composition of the bentonites in both basins is characterized by high concentrations of Hf, Nb, Pb, Ta, Th, Ti, U, Y, Zr and low concentrations of Cr, Cs and Rb. Biostratigraphical and geochemical data suggest that the thick bentonite in the Paris Basin correlates with the thickest bentonite in the Subalpine Basin, located 400 km to the south. These horizons indicate that significant explosive volcanic events occurred during the Middle Oxfordian and provide potential long-distance isochronous marker beds. Immobile element discrimination diagrams and rare-earth element characteristics indicate that the original ash compositions of the thickest bentonites correspond to a trachyandesitic source from a within-plate alkaline series that was probably related to North Atlantic rifting.  相似文献

塔里木盆地东部的志留系为一套海相碎屑岩沉积,现今仅保存有下志留统,分布在铁南2井、维马1井以南、阿南1井以北的东西向狭长地带内。下志留统的下砂岩段是油气勘探的主要目的层之一,发育扇三角洲沉积体系。下砂岩段储层岩性为岩屑砂岩,储集空间类型主要为剩余原生粒间孔,压实作用是影响储层物性的主要因素。在下砂岩段储层中,中砂岩的储集性能相对较好,其孔隙度多数在10%以上,是下砂岩段的主要含油气储层。后期的成岩作用改善了局部层段的储层物性。经历了漫长的地质演化后,下砂岩段依然保存有物性条件较好的储层段,可能蕴涵了商业油气储量。  相似文献

During early Carboniferous times a major sea-level rise led to the development of an extensive carbonate ramp over what is now South Wales. Differential subsidence and sea-level changes resulted in distinctive facies sequences in the ramp succession and a model is offered which recognizes three distinct geomorpho-tectonic settings; inner, mid- and outer ramp. The inner ramp zone occurs in the more landward part of the province and was an area undergoing little or no subsidence. The sequence is dominated by oolitic grainstones and peritidal limestones representing shoal and back shoal environments. The peritidal units are transgressive deposits consisting of stacked asymmetrical shallowing-up cycles. The sequence contains many subaerial breaks and tectonic uplift resulted in base-level changes and fluvial incision. The mid-ramp zone sequence is intermediate in thickness between the inner and outer ramp successions and consists mainly of bioclastic limestones deposited below fairweather wave base. Sedimentation periodically exceeded sea-level rise and subsidence, and regressive (progradational) oolitic sand bodies developed, the thickest of which are stacked units with up to four individual sand bodies. Storm processes were of major importance in this setting. The outer ramp zone is represented by a thick sequence of muddy bioclastic limestones deposited below storm wave base and major Waulsortian reef-mounds also developed. None of the shallowing phases seen in the other ramp zones can be detected in this sequence. Subsidence and eustatic sea-level rise seem to have been the major controls on deposition but the recognition of eustatic sea-level falls is difficult. The detailed facies model for ramp carbonates presented here may be applicable elsewhere in the geological record.  相似文献

The Lower Jurassic is subdivided in ascending order into the Wulong, Kangdui and Yongjia Formations on the north slope of Mount Qomolangma, with a total thickness of 1362 m. They are thought to have been deposited respectively in the environments of the carbonate ramp fault-bounded basins and carbonate platform, with six sedimentary facies and six sub-facies. During the Early Jurassic, the Qomolangma area experienced strong faulting and subsidence, and was of a matured rift basin. The Lower Jurassic consists of eleven 3rd-order sequences, which can be grouped into three 2nd-order sequences and form a large transgressive-regressive cycle. The 3rd-order sequences and the corresponding sea-level changes recognized in the area can be correlated quite well with those set up in the western Tethys, and may have been caused by the eustatic fluctuations, while the 2nd-order sequences seem to be more closely related to the basement subsidence and the variation in sedimentary influx, indicating the evolution of th  相似文献

四川盆地下侏罗统自流井组发育东岳庙段和大安寨段两套富有机质页岩层系,主要为湖泊相的页岩夹粉砂岩、介壳灰岩。基于页岩、介壳灰岩和粉砂岩之间的组合特征,自流井组共识别出3类7种页岩岩相组合类型。页岩有机质丰度中等,有机质类型以Ⅱ1、Ⅱ2型为主,热演化程度中等,油气共存。页岩储集空间既有无机孔,也有有机质孔,局部发育微裂缝。自流井组页岩中无机矿物与有机质、有机质与有机质孔的配置关系控制着页岩源—储配置的有效性,在较高的演化程度下,随着TOC的增大有机质孔隙度增大,页岩的源—储配置关系变好。刚性矿物稳定支撑格架下保存的固体沥青个体大,内部有机质孔数量多、孔径大;黏土矿物不稳定支撑格架下保存的沥青呈长条形,内部的有机质孔孔径较小。基于页岩层系不同岩性源—储耦合条件评价结果,页岩的源—储耦合条件明显优于夹层,源—储耦合条件好的优质页岩层段是页岩油气的甜点层段,其中黏土质页岩最好,介壳灰质页岩、粉砂质页岩为次;介壳灰岩和粉砂岩夹层不具备烃源条件且储集条件差,只能与相邻的富有机质页岩形成近源聚集体系。  相似文献

四川盆地早三叠世飞仙关早期的环境基本上继承了晚二叠世长兴末期的格局。在川东北地区演化为碳酸盐蒸发台地。蒸发台地飞仙关组为一套含硫酸盐的富白云岩的蒸发潮坪沉积层系。下部为薄层的含石膏、硬石膏晶体、团块及肠状石膏层的泥晶灰岩、微晶白云岩组成的小潮差蒸发潮坪层序。中部为层状鲕粒白云岩、鲕粒灰岩的潮下鲕粒滩相与萨布哈环境的富层状膏岩的膏坪相、含石膏岩的膏云坪相组成的大潮差蒸发潮坪层序。上部为中薄层状富泥的含石膏质夹层的泥质泥晶灰岩、微晶白云岩组成的旋回性清楚的似蒸发潮坪层序。这三种层序的纵向组合在蒸发台地相区可以很好对比,尽管各层序厚度有明显变化。强烈白云石化的鲕粒白云岩是四川盆地飞仙关组大中型气藏的主要储层,依据鲕粒岩的相序特征可将其分为有障壁性质的台缘鲕粒坝和台内鲕粒滩两类。蒸发台地西缘的台缘鲕粒坝在飞仙关期基本稳定。东缘的台缘鲕粒坝在飞仙关中后期大幅度向盆地方向迁移。  相似文献

下三叠统嘉陵江组可划分为2个三级层序,对应嘉一—嘉二、嘉三—嘉五两大地质时期。根据岩心和测井解释进一步识别出了6个四级层序和15个五级层序。这两个三级层序都由海侵体系域和高位体系域构成,沉积相都经历了由开阔环境向局限环境的转变。因此嘉陵江组含开阔台地和半局限—局限台地两大沉积相,同时可识别出6种亚相及20种微相。四级、五级层序在广大的台地区具有可比性,纵向上滩体位置变化不明显。嘉二1和嘉四1这两个时期处于特殊的海平面升降旋回阶段,台内滩相较发育;嘉一到嘉二期和嘉三、嘉四到嘉五期,经历了由开阔台地相的石灰岩沉积到局限台地相的膏岩、白云岩沉积两次大的相变,构成两轮沉积旋回。  相似文献

The Miocene Barreiras Formation in the Middle Rio Capim area records an incised valley system for which facies analysis and ichnology (Skolithos, Ophiomorpha, Planolites, Gyrolithes, Taenidium) suggest an estuarine character. Three stratigraphic units are recognized (from bottom to top): Unit 1 includes an inner estuarine tidal channel complex and tidal flat/salt marsh deposits; Unit 2 consists of estuarine bay/lagoon and flood tidal delta deposits related to the estuary mouth; and Unit 3 includes a tidal channel with a tidal point bar, as well as tidal flat/salt marsh deposits similar to those from Unit 1. These units and their bounding surfaces record the history of relative sea level changes in the estuary. After a sea level drop, the valley was inundated and formed an amalgamated sequence boundary and transgressive surface. Transgression (Unit 1) promoted the landward shift of flood tidal deltas and lagoon settings (Unit 2). The system then moved seaward, with the superposition of inner estuarine deposits (Unit 3) over Unit 2. Facies architecture seems to have been controlled by tectonics, as shown by: the paleovalley orientation according to the main tectonic structures of the basin; the presence of faults and fractures that displace the basal unconformity; and the abundance of soft sediment deformation.  相似文献

野外考察发现,雅布赖盆地红柳沟发育一套较完整的中侏罗统扇三角洲沉积地层。其中沉积亚相有扇三角洲平原、扇三角洲前缘及前扇三角洲亚相;沉积微相包括辫状河道、天然堤、决口、沼泽、水下分流河道、水下分流河道间、河口坝、席状砂等沉积微相。从沉积构造特征分析可以看出,河道沉积发育于水动力条件较强的沉积环境,扇三角洲前缘河口坝沉积发育于强与弱水动力条件交替出现的沉积环境,而前扇三角洲则在比较稳定的水动力条件下沉积。对野外6个泥岩样品的微量元素化验结果用蜘蛛图解分析处理,得到样品所含微量元素V、Sr、Rb、B相对富集,而Zr、Cr、Ni相对亏损。通过对该地区样品w(Fe^2+)/w(Fe^3+)及气候指数计算表明,当时为弱氧化、半干旱的沉积环境。  相似文献

天然裂缝是致密油储层重要的储集空间和主要的渗透通道,影响致密油气成藏、富集规律、单井产能及其开发效果。本文利用野外相似露头、岩心、薄片及成像测井资料,在研究四川盆地中部下侏罗统致密灰岩储层裂缝类型和发育特征的基础上,阐明了其裂缝分布的主控因素与发育规律。四川盆地中部下侏罗统致密灰岩储层普遍发育构造裂缝和成岩裂缝,其中以高角度构造剪切裂缝为主,大部分裂缝为有效裂缝。在同一区域应力场作用下,构造裂缝的分布主要受岩性、层厚及构造的控制。其中灰岩中裂缝最发育,随着泥质含量的增加,泥质灰岩、灰质泥岩和泥岩的裂缝密度依次降低。总体上,随着灰岩层厚的增加,裂缝间距增大,裂缝发育程度降低。大安寨致密灰岩储层可以分为4 种组合模式,不同组合模式的裂缝发育程度存在明显的差异,其中单层厚度为4~8 m 的介壳灰岩与单层厚度小于5 m 的泥页岩互层是形成裂缝的有利条件。不同构造部位的裂缝分布亦存在差异,其中断裂带附近与背斜轴部和转折端等构造高部位是裂缝发育的有利区域。  相似文献

下奥陶统白云岩是塔里木盆地最现实的重点勘探领域。文中在分析塔里木盆地早奥陶世构造、沉积及古气候等地质背景的基础上,以前人对白云岩的结构分类为基础,从白云岩发育产状出发,将塔里木盆地下奥陶统白云岩划分为灰岩中零散白云石、灰岩中斑状白云石、层状白云岩和沿断裂分布白云岩4类,白云石含量层位上自下而上具有总体减少的趋势。各类白云岩在岩石学特征和发育分布上具有较为明显的差异,局部可重叠出现。灰岩中零散白云石和斑状白云石的岩石学和地球化学及发育分布特征均反映其主要由浅埋藏白云石化作用形成;层状白云岩和沿断裂分布白云岩形成于中深埋藏白云石化作用;各类白云岩的产状特征差异受控于沉积期海平面变化、海水性质及埋藏条件等因素。沿断裂分布白云岩的形成和分布与断裂密切相关,是重要的储集岩石类型。白云岩储集层的形成主要是后期改造的结果,埋藏白云石化作用并未对大规模白云岩储集层的形成起到建设性作用,伴生或后期流体再运移导致的溶蚀作用为其主要成因。  相似文献
