In this paper, near-fault strong ground motions caused by a surface rupture fault (SRF) and a buried fault (BF) are numerically
simulated and compared by using a time-space-decoupled, explicit finite element method combined with a multi-transmitting
formula (MTF) of an artificial boundary. Prior to the comparison, verification of the explicit element method and the MTF
is conducted. The comparison results show that the final dislocation of the SRF is larger than the BF for the same stress
drop on the fault plane. The maximum final dislocation occurs on the fault upper line for the SRF; however, for the BF, the
maximum final dislocation is located on the fault central part. Meanwhile, the PGA, PGV and PGD of long period ground motions
(≤1 Hz) generated by the SRF are much higher than those of the BF in the near-fault region. The peak value of the velocity
pulse generated by the SRF is also higher than the BF. Furthermore, it is found that in a very narrow region along the fault
trace, ground motions caused by the SRF are much higher than by the BF. These results may explain why SRFs almost always cause
heavy damage in near-fault regions compared to buried faults.

实验研究断层黏滑过程的变形演化,尤其是失稳黏滑瞬间的断层位移演化特征,对于了解地震从孕育到发生的全过程具有重要意义.本文基于数字散斑相关方法(digital speckle correlation method, DSCM),用三套图像采集系统(两套低速和一套高速图像采集系统)搭建了断层黏滑过程的多观测区域、多时间尺度的变形场测量系统,并用此系统对一种花岗岩双剪滑动模型的黏滑过程进行了实验研究.对间黏滑期和黏滑期断层位移演化特征进行深入分析的结果表明:间黏滑期断层位移演化体现出空间上的非均匀性和时间上的"趋同化"特征,断层滑动趋同化也许是断层错动匀阻化的一种宏观表现形式;断层黏滑动态过程持续时间非常短(本文300 mm断层黏滑过程持续时间约在1 ms量级),黏滑失稳前会出现预滑,预滑出现到黏滑失稳发生所经历的时间与黏滑失稳过程所用时间相差一个量级;断层的一次黏滑由若干个滑动速度不同的、小的失稳滑动组成,黏滑失稳过程中断层的滑动速度呈现出波动性,整个滑动过程中断层经历了多个高速滑动和低速滑动的交错. 相似文献

The paper presents an experimental study on critical sensitivity in rocks. Critical sensitivity means that the response of
a system to external controlling variable may become significantly sensitive as the system approaches its catastrophic rupture
point. It is found that the sensitivities measured by responses on three scales (sample scale, locally macroscopic scales
and mesoscopic scale) display increase prior to catastrophic transition point. These experimental results do support the concept
that critical sensitivity might be a common precursory feature of catastrophe. Furthermore, our previous theoretical model
is extended to explore the fluctuations in critical sensitivity in the rock tests. 相似文献

The speedv, especially the problem whether super S-wave velocity in the classical model (linear elasticity fracture mechanics) exists,
of spontaneous propagation of a shear fault is investigated theoretically. An in-plane shear crack propagating in the crack
plane is taken as the model of the shear fault. The results obtained firstly by Kostrov (1975) is extended from sub-Rayleigh
wave velocity to super S-wave velocity, and the analytical expression for the stress intensity factorK
2 in the case ofα>v>β is derived. It is proved that for Poisson mediumK
2 is positive and real in the velocity range (β, 1.70β). This demonstrates that (β, 1.70β) is the velocity range which fulfils the conditions for spontaneous crack propagation. The existence, convergence and positiveness
or negativeness ofK
2 forv in individual sections are examined, and it is found that for an in-plane shear crack: 1. There are three sections forv, i.e., [0.v
R], (β, 1.70β), andα, respectively, and 2. There are two physically reasonable sections forv, the first is [v
R, β], and the second is [1.70β, α]. These two forbidden sections behave as barriers to fault propagation.
The analytical expressions derived in this paper are not only suitable to classical model, but also to the other derivative
models (e. g., the slip-weakening model and the renomalization model etc.). The model considered in this paper is more realistic
than the static model employed by previous authors.

以数字散斑相关方法(DSCM)为观测手段,对雁列断层结构的破坏过程进行了实验研究,观测和分析了变形破坏过程中模型表面的变形场演化过程.断层结构由一块含两条平行割缝的大理岩平板模拟,模型试件在双轴试验机上加载;DSCM观测系统在加载过程中记录试件表面的散斑图像,然后分析得到模型表面待测区域各记录时刻的位移场及应变场.全场连续的变形数据清晰地反映了雁列断层结构的变形破坏过程的各种细节.实验结果显示,变形最初集中在断层带周围,然后迁移到雁列区,最后雁列区贯通,结构发生滑动导致整个结构发生失稳破坏.对变形破坏过程中的变形场进行统计分析发现,一种描述变形局部化特征的统计指标—Cv值,可以作为一个雁列断层破坏的前兆指标. 相似文献

为研究紫荆关活动断裂的构造效应,在怀来的土木-石河地区布设了由9条测线,528个测点与6个临时台组成的观测网,开展了精神地磁观测。分析研究结果表明,实验区中磁场分布的不均匀性与东西则地磁日变幅的差异是紫荆关活动断裂构造磁效应的明显反映。 相似文献

An approach for estimating ground surface rupture caused by strong earthquakes is presented in this paper, where the finite element (FE) method of continuous and discontinuous coalescent displacement fields is adopted. The onset condition of strain localization is introduced to detect the formation of the slippage line. In the analysis, the Drucker-Prager constitutive model is used for soils and the rate- and state-dependent friction law is used on the slippage line to simulate the evolution of the sliding. A simple application to evaluate the ground surface rupture induced by a reverse fault movement is provided, and the numerical simulation shows good agreement with failure characteristics observed in the field after strong earthquakes. 相似文献

如何正确地消除复杂地表对地震波场的影响,提高地下构造成像的质量一直是中国西部复杂地区地震勘探中存在的难题.本文在三维复杂表层速度模型层析反演\[1\]的基础上,研究了关于复杂地表的静校正问题,提出用三维波动方程在炮集上对地震波场进行正、反向延拓,消除复杂地表对波场的影响,实现三维复杂表层模型校正.理论和实际应用证明,该方法已超越常规静校正的含义,属时变校正方法.用本方法处理复杂地表问题,不但能消除表层对不同深度反射波产生的不同时差影响,提高叠加剖面质量,而且能使校正后的地震波场保持波动特征不发生畸变,可为建立正确的深层速度模型和波动方程叠前深度偏移奠定良好的基础. 相似文献

面波成像是研究地壳上地幔横波速度结构的一种重要方法.通常,面波相速度或群速度成像假设面波沿大圆路径传播.但是,在地下介质速度结构变化较大时,面波会偏离大圆路径传播,从而导致基于大圆路径假设下的面波成像结果存在一定的误差. 我们采用基于射线追踪的面波成像方法,研究了面波的偏离大圆路径传播对四川西部地区面波相速度成像结果的影响.使用快速行进法(fast marching method)进行面波传播路径的射线追踪,采用子空间反演法(subspace inversion)进行迭代反演,对理论模型合成数据和川西台阵的短周期背景噪声相速度频散数据进行成像分析,并与使用大圆路径传播的成像结果进行对比.对理论模型的测试结果表明,当速度结构变化较大时,基于偏离大圆路径传播的面波成像能够更好地恢复模型异常.对川西台阵的真实数据反演结果显示:在短周期为6 s时,基于偏离大圆路径传播的反演方法较基于大圆路径传播的反演方法所获得的相速度异常的幅度更大些,在四川盆地区域两者的差异接近0.2 km/s;在周期为10 s时,两种反演方法的差异显著减小,基本都在0.1 km/s以内.这主要是因为6 s周期的面波相速度对复杂的上地壳浅层结构更为敏感,从而使得面波的偏离大圆路径传播效应对反演结果的影响更为显著.本文结果表明,当某一周期不同路径的面波相速度测量值变化较大,例如相对于平均相速度的异常超过10%时,则需考虑采用基于偏离大圆路径传播的面波成像方法,否则速度异常较大区域的反演结果可能会造成较大的偏差. 相似文献

用瞬态多道瑞利波法,对夏垫隐伏断裂附近的浅层速度结构进行了调查研究,利用f-k域分析方法提取瑞利波频散曲线,分别用遗传算法和半波长方法反演,得到断裂附近的横波速度结构和瑞利波相速度分布剖面。反演结果与钻孔资料的对比表明,瞬态瑞利波法对于探测上断点埋深较浅的隐伏断裂是有效和可靠的。 相似文献

位场数据曲化平是位场数据处理解释中的重要运算,但是它的计算量和计算的复杂性影响了它在许多处理和解释方法技术中的应用.本文提出一种位场数据曲化平的迭代方法,即通过把位场数据曲化平视为平面位场数据向上延拓的反问题,得到曲化平的线性积分方程,再把曲面上位场数据视为曲面平均高程面上的位场数据,利用向下延拓的波数域广义逆算法把平均高程面上的位场数据向下延拓到设定平面上,再根据曲面和其平均高程面的相对起伏对设定平面上的向下延拓数据进行起伏校正,最后再把所得平面上的位场数据向上延拓得到曲面上的位场数据,并进行迭代.把这种方法用于三维理论模型数据和实际磁场数据的曲化平处理均获得了理想的结果. 相似文献

本文利用边界积分方程方法,以基于三角形网格的全空间格林函数及离散积分核计算为基础,进行了最常见的弯折断层的破裂传播过程模拟.为了去除边界积分方程方法中格林函数计算存在的高度奇异性,研究采用分部积分等方法对动力学方程进行了重整化和离散化处理.地震力学过程可以被视为断层由静摩擦转为动摩擦的过程,对于震源破裂过程的动力学模拟,摩擦准则起着重要作用,本研究采用常用的滑动弱化摩擦准则.计算引入Courant-Friedrich-Lewy比值来表达场点的影响,并控制计算的收敛性和稳定性.通过与典型算例的比对,检验了方法的正确性和有效性.地震破裂能否穿越断层弯折部位继续传播是震源动力学研究的重要内容,基于此,本文建立了多种理论弯折断层模型,模拟了断层弯折对地震破裂传播的控制作用,并通过改变断层周边初始应力场、断层弯折角度大小以及滑动弱化距离大小等来分析各个因素对破裂传播的影响.模拟结果表明:断层面上初始破裂区域内外的应力越高,破裂越容易越过断层弯折部位继续传播;初始破裂区域半径越大,或滑动弱化距离越小,破裂也越容易发生,并越过弯折部位继续传播.同样的初始条件,断层弯折角度越大,断层弯折作为障碍体,对破裂传播的阻碍作用越显著.小的弯折角,其破裂传播过程与平面断层差别不明显,基本仍以椭圆方式对称向两侧传播. 相似文献

虽然InSAR技术具有高精度、大范围和高空间分辨率等优点,但只能监测雷达视线方向上的一维地表形变;而GPS技术虽可以监测地表的三维形变,但其空间分辨率很低.本文针对融合InSAR和GPS技术监测地表高空间分辨率三维形变展开研究.首先证明了简单的局部最优化迭代算法就能求得综合InSAR和GPS监测地表形变速率的能量函数模型的全局最优估值.随后提出了利用BFGS局部最优算法反演最优的地表三维形变速率.该方法既能避免全局最优化算法计算复杂且难以收敛的问题,又能克服传统的解析法中数值计算不稳定的缺点.最后,通过模拟实验和美国南加州真实数据实验表明,该方法能够得到高精度的地表三维形变速率场.而且当观测或插值误差导致解析法误差较大时,BFGS方法仍能得到高精度、稳定的全局最优解. 相似文献

GPS结果显示,2011年3月11日日本Mw9.0大地震引起了我国东北地区的拉张活动增强,其中,依兰—伊通断裂带最显著.这个变化在温度场中是否也有所响应是一个值得探讨的问题,也是一个利用地表温度进行现今构造活动探索的机会.本文利用2000-2011年的中分辨率成像光谱仪(MODIS)地表温度产品对东北地区地表温度进行了分析,以去除稳定年周期变化的年变残差作为研究对象,通过空间和时间分析,排除地形、纬度、气象等干扰因素的影响,寻找与构造活动相关的热信息.结果表明,2001年初和2010年初依兰—伊通断裂北段曾经出现了显著的降温现象,且降温过程持续约两个月.通过气象资料分析,初步认为上述现象并非由气象因素引起.这与GPS远场同震位移结果所显示的依兰—伊通断裂带在日本地震后出现相对比较明显的张性应变相吻合.初步认为上述降温现象与依兰—伊通断裂的拉张增强有关. 相似文献

This paper presents a Lebedev finite difference scheme on staggered grids for the numerical simulation of wave propagation in an arbitrary 3D anisotropic elastic media. The main concept of the scheme is the definition of all the components of each tensor (vector) appearing in the elastic wave equation at the corresponding grid points, i.e., all of the stresses are stored in one set of nodes while all of the velocity components are stored in another. Meanwhile, the derivatives with respect to the spatial directions are approximated to the second order on two‐point stencils. The second‐order scheme is presented for the sake of simplicity and it is easy to expand to a higher order. Another approach, widely‐known as the rotated staggered grid scheme, is based on the same concept; therefore, this paper contains a detailed comparative analysis of the two schemes. It is shown that the dispersion condition of the Lebedev scheme is less restrictive than that of the rotated staggered grid scheme, while the stability criteria lead to approximately equal time stepping for the two approaches. The main advantage of the proposed scheme is its reduced computational memory requirements. Due to a less restrictive dispersion condition and the way the media parameters are stored, the Lebedev scheme requires only one‐third to two‐thirds of the computer memory required by the rotated staggered grid scheme. At the same time, the number of floating point operations performed by the Lebedev scheme is higher than that for the rotated staggered grid scheme. 相似文献

利用1992—2012年间西南天山GPS观测和2003—2009年EnviSAT卫星InSAR图像,构建西南天山与塔里木盆地间(喀什坳陷)震间变形的三维位移场,约束区域内滑脱断层运动模型.结果显示:位于喀什坳陷基底与沉积盖层间埋深为12~18 km的主滑脱断层进入西南天山(迈丹—喀拉铁克断裂带以北)沿高角度断坡深入天山底部至23~33 km,并北倾1°~2°延伸至天山内部,从完全闭锁到自由蠕滑,滑动速率9~10 mm·a-1.依据断层位错模型,1902年阿图什M8大地震可能从铁列克断层根部23 km左右开始破裂,沿高角度断坡断层扩展25~30 km的距离至科克塔木背斜南翼托特拱拜孜—阿尔帕雷克断裂.1902年阿图什地震可能导致阿图什背斜下方埋深2~12 km的高角度断坡断层以2~3 mm·a-1速率持续蠕滑,蠕滑过程释放的应力等价于一次Mw6.7左右的中强地震,西南天山及喀什坳陷基底滑脱断层控制了西南天山及前陆地带的现今变形和地震活动. 相似文献

断层带内的流体不仅可以通过水岩反应改变断裂岩的矿物组成和化学成分,从而导致化学性质和物理性质的变化,而且可以影响或控制断裂带的变形行为.断裂带中岩石磁学特征是由特定化学环境下磁性矿物的种类和含量所决定的,因此,从矿物学和地球化学角度探讨断裂岩的磁性变化,对揭示断层的变形行为和环境具有一定的指示作用.本文以汶川科钻WFSD-3P钻孔中龙门山灌县—安县断裂带断裂岩为研究对象,运用高分辨率磁化率测试、XRD矿物成分半定量分析、XRF元素扫描以及不同价态Fe元素含量分析等多种方法开展断层磁学变化和变形环境的研究.磁化率测试结果表明灌县—安县断裂带断层泥的磁化率值普遍低于对应的围岩磁化率平均值.结合前人研究成果表明造成该断层泥低磁化率异常的原因是在间震期的长期流体作用下,铁磁性矿物(例如磁铁矿)转变成顺磁性矿物(铁硫化物、菱铁矿或含铁的黏土矿物).新生铁硫化物和含铁黏土矿物是在间震期缓慢形成的,而黏土矿物含量的增加弱化了断层强度,促进断层蠕滑,这说明断层泥低磁化率异常可能指示了该断裂在间震期长期缓慢活动,即为蠕滑变形.断层泥中黄铁矿的发育和高Fe2+和S元素、低Fe3+的特征显示灌县—安县断裂作用环境通常是在低温、还原环境中进行的.这些结果与低磁化率值的相关性暗示断层泥低磁化率异常可能对活动断层的低温还原环境具有指示意义.
