在1:20万航空磁测中仅发现小而弱的磁异常,在地表发现了铁帽,并在铁帽下发现了铜矿化的基性岩后,通过地表磁测,发现磁异常,经钻探发现了致密块状铜镍矿.选用重力、磁测、激发极化法及化探土壤测量等方法进行工作,获得明显的综合异常,指导了钻探工程的正确部署,钻到了工业矿体.  相似文献

湖南某黄铁矿在一九七五年以前一直是作为铁矿或多金属硫化矿床进行工作的。一九五八年前后相继有几个地质队做过一些地表地质工作,认为是泥盆系棋子桥组中的风化残积铁帽。一九七二年我队开展物探和地表地质工作,采用自然电场法,圈定了六个局部异常,最高异常值—600毫伏,认为该铁帽可能与热液交代硫化矿床有关。一九七五年对铁帽和自电异常开展验证评价,开始在铁帽上连续施工数孔,均未遇到硫化矿体,仅见底部棋子桥组灰岩。之后,在西部最后一  相似文献

通化地区早元古宙集安群变质岩系中,分布着众多的铁帽,其含金量各异。本文在地质、物探资料综合解释的基础上,分析了控矿铁帽产出的地质条件,对铁帽中的金等元素组合做了统计分析,以数量化理论划分了三种铁帽类型,其中含钒、钛的铁帽,系铁质岩石氧化而成,为假铁帽与金矿无关;铅、锌硫化物的铁帽也与金矿无关;而含铜硫化物铁帽则含金较高,具有指示找金的意义。  相似文献

一、FT金矿的发现 FT金矿的发现,显示了地球化学异常寻找金矿的作用和效果。早在六六年在此开展铜铁的找矿工作时就查定了金,其结果为: Ⅰ号铁帽含铜0.14%、含金1.98g/T,人工重砂含自然金0.11g/T;Ⅱ号铁帽铜的平均含量为0.41%、金含量最高达15.6g/T、最低含量为0.08g/T,平均含量为1.63g/T,人工重砂含金0.12~0.51g/T。 七八年我队化探组在评价鄂东铁帽寻找菱铁矿的专题研究中,对该区Ⅰ、Ⅱ号铁帽又做了多元素分析,发现金最高含量达19.77g/T,其中有四个样品含金在2.5g/T以  相似文献

木里新山在地质构造上处于扬子地台西缘推覆弧形构造带上的一个穹窿中,地表出露有许多褐铁矿体,规模很大。本文认为这些铁帽由原生铜矿床氧化形成,且与李伍铜矿具有相同的成矿地质环境和类似的矿床地质特征,预测铁帽的下部,可能存在一中至大型的原生铜矿床。  相似文献

Three major types of dolomite occur in the Trenton Formation (Mid-Ordovician) of the Michigan Basin. These are: (1) ‘regional dolomite’ which is confined to the extreme western edge of the basin; (2) ‘cap dolomite’ which occurs in the upper portion of the Trenton and is confined to the basin's southern margin; and (3) ‘fracture-related’ dolomite which occurs in association with both large- and small-scale faults and fractures. These three dolomite types can be distinguished from one another by their major element chemistry, oxygen isotope ratios and rock texture. The regional dolomite is fine-grained, has <0.34 mol% FeCO3, and mean δ18O of ?6·8‰OPBD. The cap dolomite is texturally similar to regional dolomite but contains 3–13·0 mol% FeCO3 and has a mean δ18O of ?7·7‰. Fracture-related dolomites are coarse-grained, low in iron, and have the most depleted δ18O ratios (x?=–9·0%PDB). Petrographic relationships imply that the regional dolomite, formed prior to the cap dolomite probably during early diagenesis. The cap dolomite formed at relatively shallow depths as a result of the interaction of the overlying Utica Shale and the Trenton Limestone. Fracture-related dolomites post-date the cap dolomite and formed during deeper burial. A temperature of precipitation of approximately 80°C was calculated for fracture-related dolomites using oxygen isotope data. The distribution of the cap dolomite was controlled by the availability of Fe2? which was in turn controlled by the availability of S2?. In the centre of the basin Trenton-Utica deposition was continuous. The upper Trenton contained relatively high concentrations of organic matter which was used by sulphate reducing bacteria to produce H2S from seawater sulphate. The precipitation of iron sulphides (pyrite + iron monosulphide) followed and used up most of the available Fe2?. As a result only small amounts of ferroan dolomite formed. On the periphery of the basin, subaerial exposure resulted in the oxidation of most of the available organic matter. Sulphate reducing bacteria were therefore limited and produced limited amounts of H2S. As a result only a minor amount of iron sulphide (iron monosulphide) formed. The remaining Fe2- was then available for the formation of the ferroan cap dolomite. This model is supported by the following: (1) In the southern margin of the basin, the contact between Trenton cap dolomite and the overlying Utica Shale is sharp and probably unconformable. In the centre of the basin the contact is gradational. (2) In the centre of the basin, the total organic carbon content in the upper Trenton is an order of magnitude higher than in the cap dolomite. (3) The whole-rock concentration of iron is high in both the cap dolomite and in slightly dolomitized equivalent beds in the basin centre. (4) Iron sulphides are abundant in the centre of the basin and mostly in the form of pyrite. In the cap dolomite, iron sulphide is minor and primarily in the form of iron monosulphide.  相似文献

青海省都兰县洪利铅锌矿床地处华南板块与柴达木盆地南缘的接合部,位于东昆中断裂带内,总体构造线走向为NW-SE向,构造形迹以断裂、褶皱为主,矿区断裂构造发育,按其走向可划分为2组,即NW,NE向断裂。其中NW向断裂为区内主干断裂,略具规模,控矿明显,为区内主要的导、控矿构造,洪利铅锌矿床即受其控制。次为NE向断裂,但规模不大,且对矿体具错断和破坏作用。区内岩浆活动多集中于晋宁期和华力西期,成矿地质条件较好。受后期构造活动影响,造成了该矿床由于矽卡岩化与热液蚀变在空间上的叠加而使其矿化特征的复杂多变。通过详细的野外观察和室内分析共圈出锌多金属矿体2个,磁铁矿体6个,金矿体2个,铁矾帽9个。根据围岩蚀变、矿体走向、分布特征及其与岩性、构造的关系,可分为南、北2个矿段,初步划分了Ⅰ,Ⅱ,Ⅲ条矿化带。研究认为铁矾帽、磁异常、地球化学、矽卡岩化、热液蚀变及角岩化是该区的主要找矿标志,其中铁矾帽系该矿区找矿的直接标志。  相似文献

鲁西南单县地区赋存沉积变质型铁矿,近年来,该地区铁矿找矿取得了较大的进展。为了更好地指导区内铁矿勘查工作,通过介绍单县地区铁矿地质特征、地球物理特征,剖析大刘庄铁矿床、龙王庙铁矿的矿床特征,建立找矿标志,并对今后铁矿找矿方向进行研究。单县大刘庄、龙王庙铁矿赋存于新太古代泰山岩群山草峪组中;铁矿体总体呈层状、似层状,局部呈透镜状,铁矿体产状与围岩一致。通过分析认为,区内的铁矿总体受山草峪组控制,构造、侵入岩对铁矿有破坏作用。经过对重磁测量成果分析,总体认为磁异常及其化极明显部位是区内铁矿勘查中最重要的指示标志,重力梯度带是铁矿赋存的重点位置。通过对以往勘查成果的综合分析认为,辛羊庙异常区应为今后铁矿勘查工作的首选地区。  相似文献

The Nkout deposit is part of an emerging iron ore province in West and Central Africa. The deposit is an oxide facies iron formation comprising fresh magnetite banded iron formation (BIF) at depth, which weathers and oxidises towards the surface forming caps of high grade hematite/martite–goethite ores. The mineral species, compositions, mineral associations, and liberation have been studied using automated mineralogy (QEMSCAN®) combined with whole rock geochemistry, mineral chemistry and mineralogical techniques. Drill cores (saprolitic, lateritic, BIF), grab and outcrop samples were studied and divided into 4 main groups based on whole rock Fe content and a weathering index. The groups are; enriched material (EM), weathered magnetite itabirite (WMI), transitional magnetite itabirite (TMI) and magnetite itabirite (MI). The main iron minerals are the iron oxides (magnetite, hematite, and goethite) and chamosite. The iron oxides are closely associated in the high grade cap and liberation of them individually is poor. Liberation increases when they are grouped together as iron oxides. Chamosite significantly lowers the liberation of the iron oxides. Automated mineralogy by QEMSCAN® (or other similar techniques) can distinguish between Fe oxides if set up and calibrated carefully using the backscattered electron signal. Electron beam techniques have the advantage over other quantitative mineralogy techniques of being able to determine mineral chemical variants of ore and gangue minerals, although reflected light optical microscopy remains the most sensitive method of distinguishing closely related iron oxide minerals. Both optical and electron beam automated mineralogical methods have distinct advantages over quantitative XRD in that they can determine mineral associations, liberation, amorphous phases and trace phases.  相似文献

Pyrrhotite (Fe7S8) is a natural iron sulphide that can participate in rock magnetisation. Its electronic structure is not yet surely described. X-ray magnetic circular dichroism (XMCD) at Fe L2,3 edges on Fe7S8, coupled with multiplet calculations, shows that iron is present only as Fe2+ in this magnetic iron sulphide. It reveals a strong magnetic orbital moment. XMCD at Fe and S K edges shows the quite strong polarization of both Fe and S in Fe7S8.  相似文献

电子导体的极化暂态特性与电子导体的性质有密切关系。差异激电法的观测参数─激电差△P能够反映这种特性。本文用极化暂态特性的理论对石墨板、铜板和铁板三种模型上激电差△P异常的基本形态各不相同的现象作了初步解释,说明根据激电差△P异常的基本形态可以把不发生阳极溶解、不可逆性较弱和不可逆性较强的矿石─围岩溶液体系区分开,并且可以剔除炭质干扰。文中还给出了野外试验结果和应用实例。极化暂态特性反映的信息量很丰富,进一步研究有利于激电异常的区分和场源性质的识别。  相似文献
