本文通过两个软件——CALTECH与AIPS的比较,对如何使用它们做VLBI数据处理进行了分析研究。完成不同任务所用程序的描述都以流程图的形式给出,这有利于新的用户尽快地进入熟练使用阶段。同时,为更合理灵活地使用软件提出了如何安排程序运行顺序及选择输入参数的建议。本文所作比较的目的不是引出软件的质量评价,而是研究它们在不同的VLBI数据处理阶段所占的优势。通过软件之间的数据传输联合使用它们以获得最佳的结果。  相似文献

本文介绍紫台30公分红外望远镜(BIT)地面观测所使用的软件系统。该软件是在BIT地面修复过程中以地面观测为使用目的而开发的。软件用于望远镜指向等系统参数显示和星场照相机控制显示,并预置了软件接口,可进一步实现对望远镜指向的计算机控制。软件已在BIT地面实验观测中使用,运行可靠,操作方便。  相似文献

One of the main problems in celestial mechanics is the management of long developments in Fourier or Poisson series used to describe the perturbed motion in the planetary system.In this work we shall develop a software package that is suitable for managing these objects. This package includes algorithms to obtain the inverse of the distance based on an iterative method, a set of integration algorithms according to several sets of temporal variables.This paper contains a comparative study on the use of the true, eccentric, and elliptic anomalies in semi-analytical methods on celestial mechanics.  相似文献

RTS2 (Remote Telescope System 2) is a highly modular open source telescope and observatory management software package. It evolved from RTS, which was developed in Python to control a telescope aimed at observing optical transients of γ ray burts. The development of a network system capable of operating robotic telescopes is both difficult and complicated. Along with continued software development one must be concerned with maintaining operations and obtaining results. This is a review of experiences gained building a network of robotic telescopes. It focuses on describing which issues are important during development of the robotic observatory software and requirements for future development of the RTS2 package. A study on the two-band observations of the millisecond pulsar J0437- 4715 is carried out based on the radio data of the Parkes Observatory of Australia and the X-ray data obtained with the ASM (All Sky Monitor) in the RXTE (Rossi X-ray Timing Explorer). For the radio observations of J0437-4715 the software TEMPO2 is applied to the calibration of the timing data of different terminal systems, thereby improving the accuracy of the timing model. By taking advantage of the all-weather observations of the ASM in the RXTE, the study of the medium- and long-term light variations of the pulsar J0437-4715 at the X-ray wavelengths is carried out by means of structure function, and it is found that this pulsar has a 620 d light period in the X-ray waveband.  相似文献

We show how to calculate the impact orbits of dangerous asteroids using the freely available the OrbFit software, and compare our results with impact orbits calculated using Sitarski??s independent software (Sitarski, 1999; 2000; 2006). The new method is tested on asteroid 2009 FJ. Using the OrbFit package to integrate alternate orbits along the line of variation (Milani et al., 2002; 2005a; 2005b), we identify impact orbits and can plot paths of risk for the Earth or any other body in the Solar System. We present the orbital elements of asteroid 2009 FJ and its ephemerides, along with uncertainties, for the next 100 years. This paper continues a long-term research program on impact solutions for asteroids (Wlodarczyk, 2007; 2008; 2009).  相似文献

We describe in detail the Apex I and Apex II software packages created for astrometric and photometric reductions of astronomical observations with CCD cameras. The Apex I software package has been created for the semiautomatic reduction of astronomical observations and has a convenient user interface. We describe a software package used at the Special Astrophysical Observatory of the Russian Academy of Sciences to reduce and analyze the data obtained with the Fabry-Perot scanning interferometer. We already described most of the algorithms employed in our earlier paper [1]. In this paper we focus on extra procedures required in the case of the use of a high-resolution Fabry-Perot interferometer: removal of ghosts and measurement of the velocity dispersion of ionized gas in galactic and extragalactic objects.  相似文献

为了检验威海天文台1 m望远镜的测光精度,2009年10月7日晚用该望远镜观测了M39星团,并对观测数据进行测光归算。由于M39星团中个别星较密集,使用IRAF中的DAOPHOT包进行星像测光。详细介绍了IRAF软件中的DAOPHOT包及其使用。数据归算结果表明,在UCAC3星表中匹配到的星,稀疏区域亮星的星等内部精度达到0.003mag,较密集区域的暗星内部精度约为0.012 8 mag。  相似文献

Despite expanding research activity in gravitational lens modeling, there is no particular software which is considered a standard. Much of the gravitational lens modeling software is written by individual investigators for their own use. Some gravitational lens modeling software is freely available for download but is widely variable with regard to ease of use and quality of documentation. This review of 13 software packages was undertaken to provide a single source of information. Gravitational lens models are classified as parametric models or non-parametric models, and can be further divided into research and educational software. Software used in research includes the GRAVLENS package (with both gravlens and lensmodel), Lenstool, LensPerfect, glafic, PixeLens, SimpLens, Lensview, and GRALE. In this review, GravLensHD, G-Lens, Gravitational Lensing, lens and MOWGLI are categorized as educational programs that are useful for demonstrating various aspects of lensing. Each of the 13 software packages is reviewed with regard to software features (installation, documentation, files provided, etc.) and lensing features (type of model, input data, output data, etc.) as well as a brief review of studies where they have been used. Recent studies have demonstrated the utility of strong gravitational lensing data for mass mapping, and suggest increased use of these techniques in the future. Coupled with the advent of greatly improved imaging, new approaches to modeling of strong gravitational lens systems are needed. This is the first systematic review of strong gravitational lens modeling software, providing investigators with a starting point for future software development to further advance gravitational lens modeling research.  相似文献
