This paper describes the pedogenic features of paleosols in the upper Lower Cretaceous Shiohama Formation, the lowest unit of the Shimonoseki Subgroup, in Yoshimi, Yamaguchi Prefecture, southwest Japan. The paleosol profiles in the Shiohama Formation are compound and complex, characterized by the presence of abundant calcrete horizons. An analysis of these profiles reveals that the floodplain upon which the Shiohama Formation was deposited was part of an unstable aggradation system characterized by the intermittent influx of sediments and occasional erosion. Furthermore, the mean annual range of precipitation was less than about 30 mm, suggesting only minor seasonal change between wet and dry conditions during deposition of the Shiohama Formation. The microstructures of the observed calcretes include dense microfabric, floating detrital grains, micronodules, circum-granular cracks, and complex cracks. These features formed by chemical precipitation under dry conditions, with little bioactivity. The calcrete horizons are classified into seven types (I–VII) based on their modes of occurrence. Two processes of carbonate accumulation can be identified based on the size and abundance of nodules: VI–V–III–(II)–I and VI–(V)–IV–II–I. These processes represent the development of calcrete horizons from the early to late stages of calcretization. Type I represents the most highly developed stage of calcretization. Calcretes within the Lower Member sequence of the Shiohama Formation show repetitions of type I and types II and III. Thus, it is interpreted that the frequency of sediment supply to the floodplain changed repeatedly over time.  相似文献

榆林气田下二叠统山西组2段为一套辫状河三角洲沉积,储集岩主要为石英砂岩、岩屑石英砂岩,平均孔隙度5.36%,平均渗透率4.58×10-3μm2,是典型的低孔低渗储层。以岩心观察为基础,结合薄片鉴定、扫描电镜、阴极发光及物性分析等资料进行研究,认为山2段砂岩经历了压实作用、胶结作用、交代作用、溶解作用、粘土杂基的充填作用等多种成岩作用,目前已达到晚成岩阶段A期。成岩作用是控制该区储层物性的关键因素,孔隙演化经历了原生孔隙的破坏、次生孔隙的形成和次生孔隙的破坏三个阶段。各类次生孔隙占总孔隙度的55.3%,其中岩屑溶孔18.4%,粒间溶孔10.8%,晶间孔26.1%。  相似文献

The northern Austral basin from Patagonia is characterized by an Early Cretaceous (Barremian–Albian) coarse-grained regressive sequence. These littoral to continental deposits conform a 150 km long basin cropping out along the Southern Patagonian Andes between 47 and 48°S. The basin fill consist of basal deltaic sandstones with interbedded shales and limestones from the Río Belgrano Formation, topped by up to 350 m of fluvial conglomerates and reworked tuffs of the Río Tarde and Kachaike formations. This continental depocenter represent a major geodynamic and paleoenviromental change from the underling marine Río Mayer Formation. In this study we analyze the tectonic setting and provenance during deposition of the coarse-grained sequence using sedimentary petrography of 37 thin sections in four stratigraphic profiles covering the northern basin. Our dataset indicates mainly a recycled orogenic sandstones provenance, in agreement with potential surrounding basement sources.  相似文献

Stratabound epigenetic dolomite occurs in carbonate facies of the Barrandian basin (Silurian and Devonian), Czech Republic. The most intense dolomitization is developed in bioclastic calcarenites within the transition between micritic limestone and shaledominated Přídolí and Lochkov formations deposited on a carbonate slope. Medium-crystalline (100–400 μm), inclusion-rich, xenotopic matrix dolomite (δ 18O=−4.64 to −3.40‰ PDB;δ 13C=+1.05 to +1.85‰ PDB) which selectively replaced most of the bioclastic precursor is volumetrically the most important dolomite type. Coarse crystalline saddle dolomite (δ 18O=−8.04 to −5.14‰ PDB;δ 18C=+0.49 to +1.49 PDB) which precipitated in fractures and vugs within the matrix dolomite represents a later diagenetic dolomitization event. In some vugs, saddle dolomite coprecipitated with petroleum inclusion-rich authigenic quartz crystals and minor sulfides which, in turn, were post-dated by semisolid asphaltic bitumen. The interpretation of the dolomitization remains equivocal. Massive xenotopic dolomite, although generally characteristic of a deeper burial setting, may have been formed by a recrystallization of an earlier, possibly shallow burial dolomite. Deeper burial recrystallization by reactive basinal pore fluids that presumably migrated through the more permeable upper portion of the Přídolí sequence appears as a viable explanation for this dolomitization overprint. Saddle dolomite cement of the matrix dolomite is interpreted as the last dolomitization event that occurred during deep burial at the depth of the oil window zone. The presence of saddle dolomite, the fluid inclusion composition of associated quartz crystals, and vitrinite paleogeothermometry of adjacent sediments imply diagenetic burial temperatures as high as 160°C. Although high geothermal gradients in the past or the involvement of hydrothermally influenced basinal fluids can account for these elevated temperatures, burial heating beneath approximately 3-km-thick sedimentary overburden of presumably post-Givetian strata, no longer preserved in the basin, appears to be the most likely interpretation. This interpretaion may imply that the magnitude of post-Variscan erosion in the Barrandian area was substantially greater than previously thought.  相似文献

内蒙古东北地区上古生界主要是一套泥质岩石,其详细深入的矿物学工作尚不多见.本文利用JSM-6700F场发射电镜及INCA能谱仪,探讨了伊利石在成岩.极低级变质作用过程中的行为.采用D/max-2500 X-射线衍射仪,研究了伊利石的结晶度、多型和b0值.伊利石结晶度变化于0.28~0.77,除去构造应力对伊利石结晶度指数值的影响,研究区伊利石结晶度指数应>0.34,反映晚古生代地层主体属于晚期成岩带和低级近变质带.伊利石(白云母)多型分三种类型,分别是1Md型、1Md+2M1混合型和2M1型,是晚期成岩带和低级近变质带的产物.伊利石(白云母)b0值变化于8.9892 ~9.0404 之间,b0平均值9.0196 ,属中压相.  相似文献

江汉盆地白垩系渔洋组砂岩存在五种类型的成岩作用。其中,与油气运移有关并对储层孔隙演化产生重要影响的是硬石膏的胶结与交代作用和后期方解石再次胶结作用。为了更好的研究成岩作用发生的控制因素以及成岩环境的变化,我们通过细致的热力学推导,绘制出包含方解石、白云石和硬石膏等矿物相在内的五组分相图。通过相图分析可以看出,pH值在成岩作用过程中有着重要的作用。方解石和白云石的胶结及交代作用代表了偏中性或碱性的成岩环境;而硬石膏的胶结及交代作用则表明成岩环境由中性或碱性向酸性转变,例如酸性的油气前锋流体的注入。另外,成岩环境中阳离子(Ca^2+、Mg^2+)和阴离子(CO3^2-、SO4^2-)的浓度对方解石、白云石和硬石膏的胶结、溶解及交代作用也有重要影响。  相似文献

根据二连盆地洪特凹陷20余口井的资料,通过对其偏光及铸体薄片,X衍射,扫描电镜,阴极发光等分析测试,对下白垩统(包括K1ba和K1bt1储层)碎屑岩的成岩历史、成岩序列的发展趋势进行了深入的研究。认为该凹陷所经历的成岩作用主要有压实作用、胶结作用和溶解作用,其次为蚀变作用、交代作用、粘土矿物转化和重结晶作用,烃类充填作用及构造应力作用等。  相似文献

综合利用铸体薄片、X射线衍射、阴极发光、扫描电镜、物性分析及镜质体反射率和包裹体温度等资料,结合岩心观察法,对Bongor盆地下白垩统碎屑岩储层基本特征及成岩作用进行了研究。依据胶结物的体积分数及形态、黏土矿物组分的分布、岩石结构镜下特征及孔隙演化、有机质热演化等证据划分了岩石成岩阶段,并分析了成岩作用对物性的影响。结果显示:该区储层岩石类型以长石砂岩为主,胶结物以碳酸盐和黏土矿物为主;溶孔-粒间孔组合型储集性最好,粒间孔-溶孔组合型次之;成岩作用是控制储层物性的主要因素,成岩作用主要包括压实作用、胶结作用、交代作用和溶蚀作用;压实作用和胶结作用是破坏性成岩作用,二者分别使原始孔隙度损失54.93%和31.30%,岩石颗粒中长石、碳酸盐胶结物等易溶物质发育,溶蚀作用是主要建设性成岩作用;目的层成岩阶段以中成岩A期为主,成岩作用弱-中等。  相似文献

Lower Cretaceous sandstones of the Qishn Formation have been studied by integrating sedimentological, petrological and petrophysical analyses from wells in the Masila oilfields of eastern Yemen. These analyses were used to define the origin, type of diagenesis and its relation to reservoir quality. The sandstones of the Qishn Formation are predominately quartz arenite to subarkose arenite with sublitharenite and quartz wackes displaying a range of porosities, averaging 22.33%. Permeability is likewise variable with an average of 2844.2 mD. Cementation coupled with compaction had an important effect on porosity destruction after sedimentation and burial. The widespread occurrence of early calcite cement suggests that the sandstones of the Qishn Formation lost significant primary porosity at an early stage of its diagenetic history. In addition to poikilotopic calcite, several different cements including kaolinite, illite, chlorite and minor illite–smectite occur as pore‐filling and pore‐lining cements, which were either accompanied by or followed the development of the early calcite cement. Secondary porosity development occurred due to partial to complete dissolution of early calcite cements and feldspar grains. The new data presented in this paper suggest the reservoir quality of Qishn sandstones is strongly linked to their diagenetic history; hence, the reservoir quality is reduced by clay minerals, calcite and silica cements but is enhanced by the dissolution of the unstable grains, in addition to partial or complete dissolution of calcite cements and unstable grains. 鄂尔多斯西缘前陆盆地中生界储层砂岩成岩作用主要受前陆盆地构造演化的影响,不同构造区带砂岩储层的成岩环境存在一定的差别。研究发现,冲断带近物源区由于杂基和软矿物含量高,压实作用表现较为强烈,砂岩物性较差;但斜坡带远离物源区压实程度较弱,原生粒间孔隙发育。前陆盆地不同区带的构造演化强度不同,形成了不同的成岩强度,冲断带的Ro值为0.5%~0.65%,其成岩演化刚进入晚成岩A期,但成岩演化程度比斜坡带略高,而坳陷带经历的成岩演化最高,成岩演化程度相对较高(Ro:0.7%~0.9%),强度最大。坳陷带比冲断带、斜坡带含有更高含量的富铁方解石,这些铁方解石属于成岩晚期的产物,很难遭受后期溶蚀改造,所以坳陷带中铁方解石含量较高的地区储层物性也比较差,其机理可能与黏土矿物转化和长石类矿物发生溶蚀有关。  相似文献

We describe two well-preserved and articulated fossil anurans excavated from the Lower Cretaceous Sasayama Group in Hyogo Prefecture, Western Honshu, Japan, as new taxa on the basis of unique combinations of character states. We performed a phylogenetic analysis that included these new taxa, as well as Mesozoic and archaic anurans. This analysis strongly supports the monophyly of each of the two new taxa, both of which are placed in more derived positions than extant leiopelmatids or Liaobatrachus from the Lower Cretaceous in China. Anuran specimens from the Tetori Group of Japan are not assigned to the two new taxa, suggesting that at least three anuran taxa were present in Japan during the Early Cretaceous. These Japanese representatives are not closely related to known fossil anurans from Eastern Eurasia, unlike recently described Cretaceous lizards from these two regions.  相似文献

The Tawil Sandstone (Lower Devonian) in Central Saudi Arabia overlies the Sharwara Member of the Tayyarat Formation (Silurian) and succeeded conformly by the Shaiba Member of the Jauf Formation. Petrographical data reveal that the Tawil Sandstone comprises 96% quartz, 3% feldspar, and 1% rock fragments and all samples are classified as quartz arenites. The presence of well sorted, altered to fresh feldspar, and discriminate function analysis suggests that the sediments have been subjected to substartial reworking resulting in a high level of maturity. Modal analysis data (Q–F–L) suggest a stable cratonic provenance for the sediments and accumulation in a passive margin basin is indicated (binary plot of SiO2 vs K2O/Na2O). Diagenetic features include dissolution of feldspar and rock fragments, compaction, reduction of the existing pore space through rearrangements, and rotation and fragmentation of grains resulting in dissolution of quartz grains and cementation.  相似文献

准噶尔盆地南缘下白垩统内部的层序及界面单纯在地震剖面或电测曲线上都较难识别,但它们在岩石地球化学等特征上有较明显的反映.研究发现,层序边界处具有Ro值的突变,有机质含量(TOC)的低谷,ΔlogR曲线处于基线,粘土矿物组合突变,坡缕石、伊/蒙混层的含量明显增加;Cu、Li、Zn、Cr、V、Ba等微量元素的含量处于低谷;锆石等稳定重矿物含量以及黄铁矿含量较低,褐铁矿含量高等特征.结合地震剖面、测井曲线等特征,将准噶尔盆地南缘下白垩统划分出2个三级层序,每个层序又分别由低位体系域、湖侵体系域和高位体系域组成.  相似文献

根据砂岩薄片、铸体薄片、扫描电镜、X-衍射和包裹体测温分析,研究了鄂尔多斯盆地西峰油田白马南地区长81储层的成岩作用特征,认为该区长81储层处于晚成岩A期阶段,压实作用和胶结作用强烈地破坏了砂岩的原生孔隙结构,溶蚀作用和破裂作用则有效地改善了砂岩的孔隙结构。该区长81储层发育次生孔隙相、泥质杂基压实相、自生碳酸盐胶结相和自生绿泥石胶结相,储层成岩相发育状况决定了孔隙结构的发育特征。发育次生孔隙相的砂岩具有较好的孔隙结构;而云母与泥质杂基压实相和碳酸盐胶结相发育的砂岩具有很差的孔隙结构。  相似文献

通过分析塔中地区志留系砂岩的某些常量元素和微量元素含量的变化,研究了该地区砂岩的地球化学以及其物源特征。结果表明塔中地区志留系的沉积构造环境为活动大陆边缘和被动大陆边缘,物源主要来自再循环造山带。砂岩的矿物成分主要在石英、钾长石、斜长石、伊利石、绿泥石等矿物之间变化。化学风化作用指标(CIW)和化学蚀变作用指标(CIA)反映了该地区砂岩的碎屑成分受到了强烈的风化作用,风化作用强度为:依木干他乌组>塔塔埃尔塔格组>柯坪塔格组。化学组分变化指标(ICV)反映了有些砂岩中含有第一次旋回沉积物。A-CN-K三角图反映了砂岩的碎屑源岩中斜长石含量要高于钾长石含量,主要在花岗闪长岩和花岗岩之间变化,砂岩的碎屑成分在风化过程中受到了钾的交代作用,长石以及长石中的高岭石发生了伊利石化。稀土元素及其比值(La/Yb)_N、(La/Lu)_N等也反映了该地区砂岩来源于花岗闪长岩和花岗岩的混合物。  相似文献

印度与亚洲大陆的碰撞是青藏高原演化的重要构造事件,碰撞过程被记录在拉萨地块南部的晚白垩世到古新世的沉积-岩浆作用中。林周盆地的晚白垩世设兴组及其之后不整合覆盖的林子宗火山岩,是解析碰撞过程的重要记录。本文对设兴组最高层位的砂岩和玄武岩夹层进行了岩石学、地球化学和年代学研究,探讨了岩石成因和构造意义。设兴组砂岩属于杂砂岩,碎屑物质主要来自中酸性岩浆岩源区;锆石Hf同位素指示设兴组大部分碎屑物质来源于盆地北面的中部拉萨地块,少部分来自盆地南部的冈底斯岩基;砂岩中最年轻的碎屑锆石年龄指示林周盆地设兴组是在98Ma之后接受沉积的。以夹层产出在设兴组顶部的玄武岩和玄武安山岩,富集轻稀土元素、亏损重稀土元素、弱负Eu异常,强烈富集Ba、Th、U、Pb等大离子亲石元素,显著亏损Nb、Ta等高场强元素,属于高钾钙碱性玄武岩系列,与典型安第斯型玄武岩特征吻合。玄武岩和玄武安山岩的锆石均为捕获锆石,其最年轻碎屑锆石年龄限定了设兴组玄武岩的喷发晚于110Ma。综合分析表明,林周盆地晚白垩世时期为夹持在冈底斯岩浆弧与中部拉萨地块之间的弧后盆地,新特提斯洋壳晚白垩世俯冲到冈底斯弧和弧后盆地之下,大约在98~110Ma之后喷发到林周盆地的很少量中基性岩浆构成了设兴组顶部的玄武岩和玄武安山岩夹层,是新特提斯洋俯冲相关的幔源岩浆作用。林周盆地设兴组(晚于98Ma)与上覆的林子宗火山岩(底部约为65Ma)之间呈大约33Myr的构造间断,可能代表了冈底斯弧的碰撞之前的隆升剥蚀过程。

湘东长沙-澧陵-浏阳一带中晚元古宇的冷家溪群及板溪群遭受了区域甚低级变质作用.在本地区所采的<2μm的样品中,冷家溪群伊利石结晶度的Kübler指数为0.18~0.26°△2θ,板溪群为0.21~0.28°△2θ(Kisch国际标样校正).从而可把本地区冷家溪群的区域变质划归浅变质带和近变质带上部,温度大约为280~400℃.板溪群划归近变质带上部,温度大约为250~300℃.并未普遍达到目前人们认为的绿片岩相或者是低绿片岩相.样品中冷家溪群伊利石(白云母)b0值的范围在0.8999~0.9042 nm,板溪群为0.9018~0.9042nm.由冷家溪群b0频率累积曲线图,得出本区冷家溪群处于较典型的中压区.  相似文献
