The natural gases in the Upper Paleozoic strata of the Ordos basin are characterized by relatively heavy C isotope of gaseous alkanes with δ 13C1 and δ13C2 values ranging mainly from ?35‰ to ?30‰ and ?27‰ to ?22‰, respectively, high δ13C excursions (round 10) between ethane and methane and predominant methane in hydrocarbon gases with most C1/(C1-C5) ratios in excess of 0.95, suggesting an origin of coal-derived gas. The gases exhibit different carbon isotopic profiles for C1-C4 alkanes with those of the natural gases found in the Lower Paleozoic of this basin, and believed to be originated from Carboniferous-Permian coal measures. The occurrence of regionally pervasive gas accumulation is distinct in the gently southward-dipping Shanbei slope of the central basin. It is noted that molecular and isotopic composition changes of the gases in various gas reservoirs are associated with the thermal maturities of gas source rocks. The abundances and δ13C values of methane generally decline northwards and from the basin center to its margins, and the effects of hydrocarbon migration on compositional modification seem insignificant. However, C isotopes of autogenetic calcites in the vertical and lateral section of reservoirs show a regular variation, and are as a whole depleted upwards and towards basin margins. Combination with gas maturity gradient, the analysis could be considered to be a useful tool for gas migration.  相似文献

Coalbed gases in the Lower Silesian Coal Basin (LSCB) of Poland are highly variable in both their molecular and stable isotope compositions. Geochemical indices and stable isotope ratios vary within the following ranges: hydrocarbon (CHC) index CHC=CH4/(C2H6+ C3H8) from 1.1 to 5825, wet gas (C2+) index C2+=(C2H6+ C3H8+ C4H10+ C5H12) / (CH4+ C2H6+ C3H8+ C4H10+ C5H12) 100 (%) from 0.0 to 48.3%, CO2–CH4 (CDMI) index CDMI=CO2/(CO2+ CH4) 100 (%) from 0.1 to 99.9%, δ13C(CH4) from −66.1 to −24.6‰, δD(CH4) from −266 to −117‰, δ13C(C2H6) from −27.8 to −22.8‰, and δ13C(CO2) from −26.6 to 16.8‰. Isotopic studies reveal the presence of 3 genetic types of natural gases: thermogenic (CH4, higher gaseous hydrocarbons, and CO2), endogenic CO2, and microbial CH4 and CO2. Thermogenic gases resulted from coalification processes, which were probably completed by Late Carboniferous and Early Permian time. Endogenic CO2 migrated along the deep-seated faults from upper mantle and/or magma chambers. Minor volumes of microbial CH4 and CO2 occur at shallow depths close to the abandoned mine workings. “Late-stage” microbial processes have commenced in the Upper Cretaceous and are probably active at present. However, depth-related isotopic fractionation which has resulted from physical and physicochemical (e.g. diffusion and adsorption/desorption) processes during gas migration cannot be neglected. The strongest rock and gas outbursts occur only in those parts of coal deposits of the LSCB which are dominated by large amounts of endogenic CO2.  相似文献

Ordos Basin, the second largest sedimentary basin in China, contains enormous natural gas resources. Each of the four giant gas fields discovered so far in this basin (i.e., Sulige, Yulin, Wushenqi and Jingbian) has over 100 billion cubic meters (bcm) or 3.53 trillion cubic feet (tcf) of proven gas reserves. This study examines the stable carbon isotope data of 125 gas samples collected from the four giant gas fields in the Ordos Basin. Source rocks in the Upper Paleozoic coal measures are suggested by the generally high δ13C values of C1–C4 gaseous hydrocarbons in the gases from the Sulige, Yulin and Wushenqi gas fields. While the δ13CiC4 value is higher than that of the δ13CnC4, the dominant ranges for the δ13C1, δ13C2, and δ13C3 values in these Upper Paleozoic reservoired gases are −34 to −32‰, −27 to −23‰, and −25 to −24‰, respectively. The δ13C values of methane, benzene and toluene in gases from the Lower Paleozoic reservoirs of the Jingbian field indicate a significant contribution from humic source rocks, as they are similar to those in the Upper Paleozoic reservoirs of the Sulige, Yulin and Wushenqi gas fields. However, the wide variation and reversal in the δ13C1, δ13C2 and δ13C3 values in the Jinbian gases cannot be explained using a single source scenario, thus the gases were likely derived dominantly from the Carboniferous-Permian coal measures with some contribution from the carbonates in the Lower Permian Taiyuan Formation. The gas isotope data and extremely low total organic carbon contents (<0.2% TOC) suggest that the Ordovician Majiagou Formation carbonates are unlikely to be a significant gas source rock, thus almost all of the economic gas accumulations in the Ordos Basin were derived from Upper Paleozoic source rocks.  相似文献

Reconnaissance surface geochemical survey for adsorbed soil gas analysis conducted in Proterozoic Bhima and Kaladgi Basins, have revealed occurrence of anomalous concentrations of light gaseous hydrocarbons i.e. C1 to C4 (CH4, C2H6, C3H8, i-C4H10 and n-C4H10) in the near surface soils. The concentrations of C1 and ΣC2+(C2H6+C3H8+ i-C4H10+ n-C4H10) in Bhima and Kaladgi Basins are in the range of 1–2594 ppb and 1 to 57 ppb and 1–1142 ppb and 1–490 ppb, respectively. The carbon isotopic data of adsorbed soil gas methane in few selected samples are in the range of −29.9 to −39‰ (PDB). The evaluation of adsorbed soil gas data indicates that all the gas components are cogenetic and hydrocarbon ratios of C1/(C2+C3) < 10 and C3/C1*1000 between 60–500 and 20–60 suggest that the adsorbed gases are derived from oil and gas-condensate zones. The carbon isotopic values of methane further support thermogenic origin of these migrated gases. The concentration distribution of C1 and ΣC2+ in the study areas illustrate C1 and ΣC2+ anomalies near Katamadevarhalli, Andola and Talikota in Bhima Basin and near Kaladgi, Lokapur and north of Mudhol in Kaladgi Basin. The hydrocarbon anomalies near the surface coincide with the favourable subsurface structural features and correlate with existing geochemical and geophysical data in these basins suggesting seepage related anomalies.  相似文献

Low-mature gases and their resource potentiality   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1
In the 80’s of last century, based on the advances in natural gas exploration practice, the concepts of bio-thermocatalytic transitional-zone gas and early thermogenetic gas were proposed, and the lower limit Ro values for the formation and accumulation of thermogenetic natural gases of industrial importance have been extended to 0.3%–0.4%. In accordance with the two-stage model established on the basis of carbon isotope fractionation involved in the formation of coal-type natural gases, the upper limit Ro ...  相似文献

Molecular and isotopic analyses of core gas samples from 3 permafrost research core holes (92GSCTAGLU, 92GSCKUMAK, 92GSCUNIPKAT; sample core depths ranging from 0.36 to 413.82 m) in the Mackenzie Delta of the Northwest Territories of Canada reveal the presence of hydrocarbon gases from both microbial and thermogenic sources. Analyses of most headspace and blended gas samples from the ice-bonded permafrost portion of the core holes yielded C1/(C2+C3) hydrocarbon gas ratios and CH4–C isotopic compositions (δ13C CH4) indicative of microbially sourced CH4 gas. However, near the base of ice-bonded permafrost and into the underlying non-frozen stratigraphic section, an increase in ethane (C2) concentrations, decreases in C1/(C2+C3) hydrocarbon gas ratios, and CH4–C isotopic (δ13C CH4) data indicate the presence of hydrocarbon gases derived from a thermogenic source. The thermogenic gas below permafrost in the Mackenzie Delta likely migrated from deeper hydrocarbon accumulations and/or directly from thermally mature hydrocarbon source rocks.  相似文献

In order to investigate the migration and accumulation efficiency of hydrocarbon natural gas in the Xujiaweizi fault depression, and to provide new evidence for the classification of its genesis, a source rock pyrolysis experiment in a closed system was designed and carried out. Based on this, kinetic models for describing gas generation from organic matter and carbon isotope fractionation during this process were established, calibrated and then extrapolated to geologic conditions by combining the thermal history data of the Xushen-1 Well. The results indicate that the coal measures in the Xujiaweizi fault depression are typical "high-efficiency gas sources", the natural gas generated from them has a high migration and accumulation efficiency, and consequently a large-scale natural gas accumulation occurred in the area. The highly/over matured coal measures in the Xujiaweizi fault depression generate coaliferous gas with a high δ^13C1 value (〉 -20‰) at the late stage, making the carbon isotope composition of organic alkane gases abnormally heavy. In addition, the mixing and dissipation through the caprock of natural gas can result in the negative carbon isotope sequence (δ^13C1 〉δ^13C2 〉δ^13C3 〉δ^13C4) of organic alkane gases, and the dissipation can also lead to the abnormally heavy carbon isotope composition of organic alkane gases. As for the discovery of inorganic nonhydrocarbon gas reservoirs, it can only serve as an accessorial evidence rather than a direct evidence that the hydrocarbon gas is inorganic. As a result, it needs stronger evidence to classify the hydrocarbon natural gas in the Xujiaweizi fault depression as inorganic gas.  相似文献

Organic inclusions could be formed at the stages of either primary or secondary migration of hydrocarbons so long as mineral crystallization or recrystallization takes place in the sediments, presenting a direct indicator of oil/gas evolution, migration and abundance. Based on the study of organic inclusions in carbonate-type reservoir beds of commercial importance from North China, Xingjing, North Jiangsu, Jianghan, Sichuan and Guizhou in China, many inclusion parameters for oil/gas potential assessment of carbonate reservoir beds are summarized in this paper, including: 1) Types of organic inclusion: Commercially important oil beds are characterized by inclusions consisting of either pure liquid hydrocarbons or liquid plus minor gaseous hydrocarbons, while commercially important gas reservoirs are characterized by inclusions consisting of either pure gaseous hydrocarbons or gas plus minor liquid hydrocarbons. 2) Quantity of organic inclusions: The number of organic inclusions in commercially important oil/gas reservoirs is over 60% of the total inclusion percentage. 3) Temperature of saline inclusions: The homogenization temperatures of contemporaneous saline inclusions in oil reservoirs range from 91–161 °C, while in gas reservoirs from 150–250 °C). 4) Inclusion composition: In commercially important oil reservoirs, C1/C2=2−10, C1/C3=2−4, C1/C4=2−21, (C2−C4)/(C1−C4)(%)>20, (CH4+CO+H2)/CO2 (molecules/g)=0.5−1.0, and in C2−C3−nC4 triangle diagram there should be an upside-down triangle with the apex within the ellipse, while in commercial gas reservoirs, C1/C2=10−35, C1/C3=14−82, C1/C4=21−200, (C2−C4)/(C1−C4)(%)<20, (CH4+CO+H2)/CO2>1, and there would be an upright triangle with the apex within the ellipse. The above-mentioned parameters have been used to evaluate a number of other unknown wells or regions and the results are very satisfactory. It is valid to use organic inclusions as an indicator to assess the oil/gas potential during oil/gas exploration and prospecting. This approach is effective, economic, rapid, and easy to popularize.  相似文献

Coal-derived hydrocarbons from Middle–Lower Jurassic coal-bearing strata in northwestern China are distributed in the Tarim, Junggar, Qaidam, and Turpan-Harmi basins. The former three basins are dominated by coal-derived gas fields, distributed in Cretaceous and Tertiary strata. Turpan-Harmi basin is characterized by coal-derived oil fields which occur in the coal measures. Based on analysis of gas components and carbon isotopic compositions from these basins, three conclusions are drawn in this contribution: 1) Alkane gases with reservoirs of coal measures have no carbon isotopic reversal, whereas alkane gases with reservoirs not of coal measures the extent of carbon isotopic reversal increases with increasing maturity; 2) Coal-derived alkane gases with high δ13C values are found in the Tarim and Qaidam basins (δ13C1: − 19.0 to − 29.9‰; δ13C2: − 18.8 to − 27.1‰), and those with lowest δ13C values occur in the Turpan-Harmi and Junggar basins (δ13C1: − 40.1 to − 44.0‰; δ13C2: − 24.7 to − 27.9‰); and 3) Individual specific carbon isotopic compositions of light hydrocarbons (C5–8) in the coal-derived gases are lower than those in the oil-associated gases. The discovered carbon isotopic reversal of coal-derived gases is caused by isotopic fractionation during migration and secondary alteration. The high and low carbon isotopic values of coal-derived gases in China may have some significance on global natural gas research, especially the low carbon isotope value of methane may provide some information for early thermogenic gases. Coal-derived methane typically has much heavier δ13C than that of oil-associated methane, and this can be used for gas–source rock correlation. The heavy carbon isotope of coal-derived ethane is a common phenomenon in China and it shed lights on the discrimination of gas origin. Since most giant gas fields are of coal-derived origin, comparative studies on coal-derived and oil-associated gases have great significance on future natural gas exploration in the world.  相似文献

A suite of natural gases from the northern Songliao Basin in NE China were characterized for their molecular and carbon isotopic composition. Gases from shallow reservoirs display clear geochemical evidence of alteration by biodegradation, with very high dryness (C1/C2+ > 100), high C2/C3 and i-C4/n-C4 ratios, high nitrogen content and variable carbon dioxide content. Isotopic values show wide range variations (δ13CCH4 from −79.5‰ to −45.0‰, δ13CC2H6 from −53.7‰ to −32.2‰, δ13CC3H8 from −36.5‰ to −20.1‰, δ13CnC4H10 from −32.7‰ to −24.5‰, and δ13CCO2 from −21.6‰ to +10.5‰). A variety of genetic types can be recognized on the basis of chemical and isotopic composition together with their geological occurrence. Secondary microbial gas generation was masked by primary microbial gas and the mixing of newly generated methane with thermogenic methane already in place in the reservoir can cause very complicated isotopic signatures. System openness also was considered for shallow biodegraded gas accumulations. Gases from the Daqing Anticline are relatively wet with 13C enriched methane and 13C depleted CO2, representing typically thermogenic origin. Gases within the Longhupao-Da’an Terrace have variable dryness, 13C enriched methane and variable δ13C of CO2, suggesting dominant thermogenic origin and minor secondary microbial methane augment. The Puqian-Ao’nan Uplift contains relatively dry gas with 13C depleted methane and 13C enriched CO2, typical for secondary microbial gas with a minor part of thermogenic methane. Gas accumulations in the Western Slope are very dry with low carbon dioxide concentrations. Some gases contain 13C depleted methane, ethane and propane, indicating low maturity/primary microbial origin. Recognition of varying genetic gas types in the Songliao Basin helps explain the observed dominance of gas in the shallow reservoir and could serve as an analogue for other similar shallow gas systems.  相似文献

The Ledong gas field, consisting of three gas pools in a shale diapir structure zone, is the largest gas discovery in the Yinggehai Basin. The gases produced from the Pliocene and Quaternary marine sandstone reservoirs show a considerable variation in chemical composition, with 5.4–88% CH4, 0–93% CO2, and 1–23.7% N2. The CO2-enriched gases often display heavier methane δ13C values than those with low CO2 contents. The δ15N values of the gases range from −8 to −2‰, and the N2 content correlates negatively with the CO2 content. The high geothermal gradient associated with a relatively great burial depth in this area has led to the generation of hydrocarbon and nitrogen gases from the Lower–Middle Miocene source rocks and the formation of abundant CO2 from the Tertiary calcareous-shales and pre-Tertiary carbonates. The compositional heterogeneities and stable carbon isotope data of the produced gases indicate that the formation of the LD221 gas field is attributed to three phases of gas migration: initially biogenic gas, followed by thermogenic hydrocarbon gas, and then CO2-rich gas. The filling processes occurred within a short period approximately from 1.2 to 0.1 Ma based on the results of the kinetics modeling. Geophysical and geochemical data show that the diapiric faults that cut through Miocene sediments act as the main pathways for upward gas migration from the deep overpressured system into the shallow normal pressure reservoirs, and that the deep overpressure is the main driving force for vertical and lateral migration of the gases. This gas migration pattern implies that the transitional pressure zone around the shale diapir structures was on the pathway of upward migrating gases, and is also a favorable place for gas accumulation. The proposed multiple sources and multiple phases of gas migration and accumulation model for the Ledong gas field potentially provide useful information for the future exploration efforts in this area.  相似文献

In the surroundings of the Gaoqing-Pingnan fault zone are developed quite a number of gas reservoirs. Based on gas compositions, they can be divided into two groups, i.e., CO2 and CH4. Their composition and isotope geochemistry were dealt with in this study. The CO2 contents range from 60.72%–99.99%, the δ13CCO2 values from -3.41‰– -9.8‰, and the 3He/4He ratios from 4.35×10-6–6.35×10-6 (i.e. R/Ra=4.45–4.35). Based on the data on composition and isotope geochemistry, deep geological background, deep faults and volcanic rocks, it is shown that CO2 ,distributed in the Gaoqing area, mostly originated from mantle-source inorganic matter which is associated with magmatic rocks. The favorable tectonic environment for the formation of CO2 reservoirs is the rift, which is related to great fault-magmatic activity, the formation of CO2 gas pools and their space-time correlation to the most recent magmatic activities. Hydrocarbon gas pools occur in the Huagou area. The CH4 contents are within the range of 88.83%–99.12%, and the δ13CCH4 values, -44.7‰– -54.39‰. This indicates that the hydrocarbon gas resulted from the decomposition of oil-type gas at high temperatures. Volcanic rocks in the CO2 gas pool-and CH4 gas pool-distributed areas show significant differences in Fe2O3 and FeO contents. This has proven that the hydrocarbon gas may have resulted from various chemical reactions. Magmatic activities are the primary reason for the distribution of CO2 and CH4 gas pools in the Gaoqing-Pingnan fault zone.  相似文献

Surface adsorbed gas surveys and geo-microbiological surveys are known techniques of petroleum exploration and aim towards risk reduction in exploration by way of identifying the areas warm with hydrocarbons and to establish intense exploration priorities amongst the identified warm areas. The present investigation aims to explore correlation between the adsorbed gas distribution pattern with the distribution of the counts of methane, ethane, propane and butane microbial oxidizers in the sub soil samples to establish the role of the latter in identifying the upward migration of hydrocarbons especially in the known petroliferous Krishna-Godavari Basin, India. A total of 135 soil samples were collected near oil and gas fields of Tatipaka, Pasarlapudi areas of Krishna Godavari Basin, Andhra Pradesh. The soil samples were collected from a depth of 2?C2.5 m. The samples collected, were analyzed for indicator hydrocarbon oxidizing bacteria, adsorbed light gaseous hydrocarbons and carbon isotopes (??13Cmethane). The microbial prospecting studies showed the presence of high bacterial population for methane (3.94 × 105 cfu/gm), ethane (3.85 × 105 cfu/gm), propane (4.85 × 105 cfu/gm) and butane oxidizing bacteria (3.63 × 105 cfu/gm) in soil samples indicating microseepage of hydrocarbons. The light gaseous hydrocarbon analysis showed 83 ppb, 92 ppb, 134 ppb, 187 ppb and 316 ppb of C1, C2, C3, nC4 and nC5, respectively, and the carbon isotopic composition of ??13C1 of the samples ranged between ? 36.6 ?? to ?22.7?? (Pee Dee Belemnite) values, which presents convincing evidence that the adsorbed soil gases collected from these sediments are of thermogenic origin. Geo-microbial prospecting method and adsorbed soil gas and carbon isotope studies have shown good correlation with existing oil/ gas fields of K.G basin. Microbial surveys indicating microseepage of hydrocarbons can, therefore, independently precede other geochemical and geophysical surveys to delineate areas warm with hydrocarbons and mapped microbiological anomalies may provide focus for locales of hydrocarbon accumulation in the K.G basin.  相似文献

In the Northern Jiangsu basin there are high pure CO2 gas pools, low condensed oil-containing CO2 gas pools, high condensed oil-containing CO2 gas pools and He-containing natural gas pools, with the δ13Cco2 (PDB) values ranging from -2.87‰ to -6.50‰, 3He/4He 3.71×10-6 to 6.42×10-6, R/Ra 2.64 to 4.5, 40Ar/36Ar 705 to 734, belonging to typical mantle source inorganic gas pools which are related to young magmatic activity. The gas layers occur in two major reservoir-caprock systems, the terrestrial Meso-Cenozoic clastic rock system and the marine Meso-Palaeozoic carbonate rock-clastic rock system. Controlled by the difference in the scale of traps in the two reservoir-caprock systems, large and medium-scale inorganic gas pools are formed in the marine Meso-Palaeozoic Group and only small ones are formed in the terrestrial Meso-Cenozoic strata. Inorganic gas pools in this basin are distributed along the two deep lithospheric faults on the west and south boundaries of the basin. Gas pools are developed  相似文献

Heat flow and the origin of helium in natural gases from fault basins of the continental rift-valley in eastern China are discussed in terms of helium isotope geochemistry.3He/4He ratios in natural gases from the rift-valley range from 2.23 × 10−7 to 7.21 × 10−6, which are directly proportional to the concentration of helium and ΣNHC/ΣHC ratio in natural gases. Geological and isotope geochemical data suggest that helium in natural gases consists predominantly of crustal radio-genic and upper mantle-derived helium. In a simple mixing pattern between crustal He and mantle-derived He, mantle-derived helium in natural gases would account for 10–60%. Calculated values for heat flow (Q) range from 59.7 to 82.4mWm−2, of which about 60 percent in the rift-valley is derived from the upper mantle. Natural helium reservoirs would be found in the areas where the upper mantle uplifted greatly and heat flow is large in the continental rift-valley. The project is financially supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China.  相似文献

The Tertiary Thrace Basin located in NW Turkey comprises 9 km of clastic-sedimentary column ranging in age from Early Eocene to Recent in age. Fifteen natural gas and 10 associated condensate samples collected from the 11 different gas fields along the NW–SE extending zone of the northern portion of the basin were evaluated on the basis of their chemical and individual C isotopic compositions. For the purpose of the study, the genesis of CH4, thermogenic C2+ gases, and associated condensates were evaluated separately.Methane appears to have 3 origins: Group-1 CH4 is bacteriogenic (Calculated δ13CC1–C = −61.48‰; Silivri Field) and found in Oligocene reservoirs and mixed with the thermogenic Group-2 CH4. They probably formed in the Upper Oligocene coal and shales deposited in a marshy-swamp environment of fluvio-deltaic settings. Group-2 (δ13CC1–C = −35.80‰; Hamitabat Field) and Group-3 (δ13C1–C = −49.10‰; Değirmenköy Field) methanes are thermogenic and share the same origin with the Group-2 and Group-3 C2+ gases. The Group-2 C2+ gases include 63% of the gas fields. They are produced from both Eocene (overwhelmingly) and Oligocene reservoirs. These gases were almost certainly generated from isotopically heavy terrestrial kerogen (δ13C = −21‰) present in the Eocene deltaic Hamitabat shales. The Group-3 C2+ gases, produced from one field, were generated from isotopically light marine kerogen (δ13C = −29‰). Lower Oligoce ne Mezardere shales deposited in pro-deltaic settings are believed to be the source of these gases. The bulk and individual n-alkane isotopic relationships between the rock extracts, gases, condensates and oils from the basin differentiated two Groups of condensates, which can be genetically linked to the Group-2 and -3 thermogenic C2+ gases. However, it is crucial to note that condensates do not necessarily correlate to their associated gases.Maturity assessments on the Group-1 and -2 thermogenic gases based on their estimated initial kerogen isotope values (δ13C = −21‰; −29‰) and on the biomarkers present in the associated condensates reveal that all the hydrocarbons including gases, condensates and oils are the products of primary cracking at the early mature st age (Req = 0.55–0.81%). It is demonstrated that the open-system source conditions required for such an early-mature hydrocarbon expulsion exist and are supported by fault systems of the basin.  相似文献

Sixty-five natural gas samples were collected from 19 oil-gasfields in the Qaidam basin, China. The chemical composition and carbon isotope values of the samples were measured, and the geochemical characteristics and origin of the natural gases were studied. The gases can be divided into biogenic gases, sapropelic oil-type gases, mixed type oil-type gases, coal-type gases and mixed gas. The δ13Ci values of the biogenic gases are very small and the C2+ contents of them are very low, ranging from -68.2‰ to -61.8‰ and 0.06% to 0.20% respectively. They have heavy δD and δ13Cco2> showing a CC>2 reduction pathway. They are distributed in the East depression region and derived from the Quaternary source rocks. The sapropelic oil-type gases have small δ13C2 values and high C2+ ranging from -36.6‰ to -28.6‰ and from 33.01% to 47.15% respectively. The mixed type oil-type gases have <5I3C2 values and C2+ contents varying from -28.6‰ to -24.8‰ and from 4.81% to 26.06% respectively. Both sapropelic oil-typ  相似文献

Deep fluids in a petroliferous basin generally come from the deep crust or mantle beneath the basin basement, and they transport deep substances(gases and aqueous solutions) as well as heat to sedimentary strata through deep faults. These deep fluids not only lead to large-scale accumulations of CO_2, CH_4, H_2, He and other gases, but also significantly impact hydrocarbon generation and accumulation through organic-inorganic interactions. With the development of deep faults and magmatic-volcanic activities in different periods, most Chinese petroliferous basins have experienced strong impacts associated with deep fluid activity. In the Songliao, Bohai Bay, Northern Jiangsu, Sanshui, Yinggehai and Pearl Mouth Basins in China, a series of CO_2 reservoirs have been discovered. The CO_2 content is up to 99%, with δ~(13)C_(CO2) values ranging from-4.1‰ to-0.37‰ and ~3He/~4He ratios of up to 5.5 Ra. The abiogenic hydrocarbon gas reservoirs with commercial reserves, such as the Changde, Wanjinta, Zhaozhou, and Chaoyanggou reservoirs, are mainly distributed in the Xujiaweizi faulted depression of the Songliao Basin. The δ~(13)CCH4 values of the abiogenic alkane gases are generally -30‰ and exhibit an inverse carbon isotope sequence of δ~(13)C_(CH4)δ~(13)C_(C2H6)δ~(13)C_(C3H8)δ~(13)C_(C4H10). According to laboratory experiments, introducing external H_2 can improve the rate of hydrocarbon generation by up to 147% through the kerogen hydrogenation process. During the migration from deep to shallow depth, CO_2 can significantly alter reservoir rocks. In clastic reservoirs, feldspar is easily altered by CO_2-rich fluids, leading to the formation of dawsonite, a typical mineral in high CO_2 partial pressure environments, as well as the creation of secondary porosity. In carbonate reservoirs, CO_2-rich fluids predominately cause dissolution or precipitation of carbonate minerals. The minerals, e.g., calcite and dolomite, show some typical features, such as higher homogenization temperatures than the burial temperature, relatively high concentrations of Fe and Mn, positive Eu anomalies, depletion of 18 O and enrichment of radiogenic ~(87)Sr. Due to CO_2-rich fluids, the development of high-quality carbonate reservoirs is extended to deep strata. For example, the Well TS1 in the northern Tarim Basin revealed a high-quality Cambrian dolomite reservoir with a porosity of 9.1% at 8408 m, and the Well ZS1 C in the central Tarim Basin revealed a large petroleum reserve in a Cambrian dolomite reservoir at ~6900 m. During the upward migration from deep to shallow basin strata, large volumes of supercritical CO_2 may extract petroleum components from hydrocarbon source rocks or deep reservoirs and facilitate their migration to shallow reservoirs, where the petroleum accumulates with the CO_2. Many reservoirs containing both supercritical CO_2 and petroleum have been discovered in the Songliao, Bohaiwan, Northern Jiangsu, Pearl River Mouth and Yinggehai Basins. The components of the petroleum trapped with CO_2 are dominated by low molecular weight saturated hydrocarbons.  相似文献
