Power-law solutions for f(G) gravity coupled with perfect fluid have been studied for spatially flat universe. It is shown that despite the matter dominated and accelerating power-law solutions, the power-law solution exists for an special form of f(G) when this universe enters a Phantom phase.  相似文献

The cosmological reconstruction of modified F(R) and F(G)F(\mathcal{G}) gravities with agegraphic dark energy (ADE) model in a spatially flat universe without matter field is investigated by using e-folding “N” as a forward way. After calculating a consistent F(R) in ADE’s framework, we obtain conditions for effective equation of state parameter w eff, and see that reconstruction is possible for both phantom and non-phantom era. These calculations also are done for F(G)F(\mathcal{G}) gravity and the condition for a consistent reconstruction is obtained.  相似文献

In this work, we have considered variable G in flat FRW universe filled with the mixture of dark energy, dark matter and radiation. If there is no interaction between the three fluids, the deceleration parameter and statefinder parameters have been calculated in terms of dimensionless density parameters which can be fixed by observational data. Also the interaction between three fluids has been analyzed due to constant G. The statefinder parameters also calculated in two cases: pressure is constant and pressure is variable.  相似文献

We study a gravitational model in which scale transformations play the key role in obtaining dynamical G and Λ. We take a non-scale invariant gravitational action with a cosmological constant and a gravitational coupling constant. Then, by a scale transformation, through a dilaton field, we obtain a new action containing cosmological and gravitational coupling terms which are dynamically dependent on the dilaton field with Higgs type potential. The vacuum expectation value of this dilaton field, through spontaneous symmetry breaking on the basis of anthropic principle, determines the time variations of G and Λ. The relevance of these time variations to the current acceleration of the universe, coincidence problem, Mach’s cosmological coincidence and those problems of standard cosmology addressed by inflationary models, are discussed. The current acceleration of the universe is shown to be a result of phase transition from radiation toward matter dominated eras. No real coincidence problem between matter and vacuum energy densities exists in this model and this apparent coincidence together with Mach’s cosmological coincidence are shown to be simple consequences of a new kind of scale factor dependence of the energy momentum density as ρa −4. This model also provides the possibility for a super fast expansion of the scale factor at very early universe by introducing exotic type matter like cosmic strings.  相似文献

The possibility that the cosmological term is proportional toGU, whereG is the gravitational coupling andU is the mass density of the universe is proposed and discussed. WithG = constant, a cosmological model is obtained, which avoids the flatness and horizon problems and does not affect the well known predictions on the cosmic helium abundance which come from standard big bang cosmology. In such model, the deceleration parameter is a null constant, there is matter creation process throughout the universe at the rate 10–47 g cm–3 s–1 and the cosmological term varies asH 2 =t –2, whereH is the Hubble constant andt is the cosmic time. The possibility of a time-dependentG is then considered. The main consequence of this is that there is a mass creation process on the local scale; the rate of mass creation inside a body of massM is dM/dt =M H. In Section 6 it is suggested that the new matter might be in the form of neutrinos. This suggestion leads to an interesting consequence in celestial mechanics: the radius of a binary system should depend on time according to the nature of the components (the radius of a binary star should decrease, the radius of a planet-moon system should expand, and the orbital radius of a planet should stay constant).  相似文献

This paper presents anisotropic, homogeneous two-fluid cosmological models in a Bianchi type I space–time with a variable gravitational constant G and cosmological constant Λ. In the two-fluid model, one fluid represents the matter content of the universe and another fluid is chosen to model the CMB radiation. We find a variety of solutions in which the cosmological parameter varies inversely with time t. We also discuss in detail the behavior of associated fluid parameters and kinematical parameters. This paper pictures cosmic history when the radiation and matter content of the universe are in an interactive phase. Here, Ω is closing to 1 throughout the cosmic evolution.   相似文献

In a previous paper Lyttleton (1976) has shown that the apparent secular accelerations of the Sun and Moon, as given by de Sitter, can be largely explained if the Earth is contracting at the rate required by the phase-change hypothesis for the nature of the core. More reliable values for these accelerations have since become available which warrant a redetermination of the various effects concerned on the basis of constantG, and this is first carried out in the present paper. The lunar tidal couple, which is the same whetherG is changing or not, is found to be (4.74±0.38)×1023 cgs, about three-quarters that yielded by the de Sitter values, while within the theory the Moon would take correspondingly longer to reach close proximity to the Earth at about 1.5×109 years ago.The more accurate values of the accelerations enable examination to be made of the effects that a decreasingG would have, and it is shown that a valueG/G=–3×10–11 yr–1 can be weakly satisfied compared with the close agreement found on the basis of constantG, while a value as large numerically asG/G=–6×10–11 yr–1 seems to be definitely ruled out. On the iron-core model, an intrinsic positive component of acceleration of the angular velocity cannot be reconciled at all with the secular accelerations even for constantG, and far less so ifG is decreasing at a rate suggested by any recent cosmological theory.ItG=0, the amount of contraction available for mountain-building would correspond to a reduction of surface area of about 49×106 km2 and a volume to be redistributed of 160×109 km3 if the time of collapse were 2.5×109 years ago. For earlier times, the values are only slightly reduced. IfG/G=–3×10–11 yr–1, the corresponding values are 44×106 km2 and 138×109 km3 for collapse at –2.5×109 yr, and not importantly smaller at 38×106 km2 and 122×109 km3 for collapse at –4.5×109 yr. Any of these values would suffice to account in order of magnitude for all the eras of mountain-building. An intense brief period of mountain-building on an immense scale would result from the Ramsey-collapse at whatever time past it may have occurred.  相似文献

We have calculated the equation of state of the neutron star matter and some of its properties for a wide range of nucleon-nucleon potentials using the lowest order constrained variational (LOCV) method. It turns out that for the UV 14+TNI potential, the proton fraction exhibits a peak and falls off at high densities. The equation of state with the UV 14+TNI potential is seen to be much harder than those with other potentials. The polytropic behaviour of the neutron star matter with various potentials are discussed. Compared with the other methods, the LOCV results show good agreement for densities below 0.7 fm -3. Above this density, however, the differences with other methods are appreciable.  相似文献

Several invariant properties of matter seem to fit remarkably well to quantized values obtained from Planck domain units by period doubling in three dimensions. The units are defined using natural constants only. Such properties include the elementary electric charge, electron and proton rest energies and others. It has been shown by W. G. Tifft that the quantized redshifts of galaxies fit the pattern, too. Magnetic moments of the electron, proton, neutron, muon and lambda particles also seem to obey the doubling rule. The same number of doublings seems to yield the electron and proton rest masses and magnetic moments correspondingly. The proton rest mass is E0×2–64 and the magnetic moment µ o × 264, where E0 and µ o are the Planck domain units. The corresponding exponent of 2 for the electron is 75.66. The units for the proton and the electron differ by a factor of . The magnetic moment of the muon suggests a close relationship between the magnetic structures of the muon and the proton, whereas the lambda particle seems to be related to the neutron. Reasons for the supposed existence of quantized 3-d time are represented.  相似文献

Motivated by the possibility that the fundamental “constants” of nature could vary with time, this paper considers the long term evolution of white dwarf stars under the combined action of proton decay and variations in the gravitational constant. White dwarfs are thus used as a theoretical laboratory to study the effects of possible time variations, especially their implications for the future history of the universe. More specifically, we consider the gravitational constant G to vary according to the parametric relation G=G 0(1+t/t ? )?p , where the time scale t ? is the same order as the proton lifetime t P . We then study the long term fate and evolution of white dwarf stars. This treatment begins when proton decay dominates the stellar luminosity, and ends when the star becomes optically thin to its internal radiation.  相似文献

An example of a cosmological model with variable gravitational couplingG and a time-dependent cosmological term , has recently been presented. It has been shown that there is no creation of matter and that the rest mass of particles stays constant in this model. In this paper we will generalize the field equations to the case where bothG and depend both on time and position. It is shown that even in this case there may be no creation.  相似文献

The interaction of modified holographic dark energy and dark matter with varying G in flat Kaluza Klein universe is considered. Further, we take infrared cutoff scale L as future event horizon. In this scenario, equations of state parameter as well as evolution are explored. We also check the validity of the generalized second law of thermodynamics. It is interesting to mention here that our results show consistency with the present observations.  相似文献

In this paper we study the evolution of a LRS Bianchi I Universe, filled with a bulk viscous cosmological fluid in the presence of time varying constants “but” taking into account the effects of a c-variable into the curvature tensor. We find that the only physical models are those which “constants” G and c are growing functions on time t, while the cosmological constant Λ is a negative decreasing function. In such solutions the energy density obeys the ultrastiff matter equation of state i.e. ω = 1.  相似文献

In a closed expanding-contracting Universe, matter will be subject to an inward acceleration large enough to prevent perpetual expansion. A closed Universe must also perform a simple harmonic motion, which might consist either of one single cycle or of an infinite series of oscillations about a central point. It is the purpose of this study to find the rate ofa 0, the cosmic acceleration, from which the gravitational constantG can be determined. It will be shown from Ampère's equation and Planck's radiation law that it is possible to derivea 0=7.623×10–12 ms–2, a value which also conforms with the uncertainty principle. The relationship betweena 0 and electromagnetic radiation is based on the concept that charges (such as electrons) must emit radiation while accelerating. The rate ofa 0 yields a universal gravitational constant ofG=6.645×10–11 N m2 kg–2.  相似文献

New ion cyclotron whistlers which have the asymptotic frequency of one half the local proton gyrofrequency, Gp2, and the minimum (or equatorial) proton gyrofrequency, Gpm, along the geomagnetic field line passing through the satellite have been found in the low-latitude topside ionosphere from the spectrum analysis of ISIS VLF electric field data received at Kashima, Japan. Ion cyclotron whistlers with asymptotic frequency of Gpm or Gpm2 are observed only in the region of Bm >B2 or rarely Bm >B4, where B is the local magnetic field and Bm is the mini magnetic field along the geomagnetic field line passing through the satellite. The particles with one half the proton gyrofrequency may be the deuteron or alpha particle. Theoretical spectrograms of the electron whistlers (R-mode) and the ion cyclotron whistlers (L-mode) propagating along the geomagnetic field lines are computed for the appropriate distributions of the electron density and the ionic composition, and compared with the observed spectrograms. The result shows that the ion cyclotron whistler with the asymptotic frequency of Gp2 is the deuteron whistler, and that the ion cyclotron whistlers with the asymptotic frequency of Gpm or Gpm2 are caused by the trans-equatorial propagation of the proton or deuteron whistler from the other hemisphere.  相似文献

We start from our extended scenario for the formation of astronomical objects from fragmenting macroscopic superstrings, and we combine it with our view of an “orderly” fragmentation applied to the formation of black holes (Brosche, Lentes & Tassie 2003), now to the whole objects: the radial order of the matter should be preserved. Then we have to adapt the value of the superstring tension derived from the observed ratios of κ = (angular momentum)/(mass squared). If we calculate potential energies on the basis of a fragmentation until baryonic elementary particles, it turns out that the changed string tension explains as well the mechanical state of observed astronomical objects (without large energy loss on the way from the parent string parts) as also the fraction of bound to unbound matter (about 1:10). The implied superstring tension is about μ = (1/3000) c 2/G . This corresponds to a string tension of 4 × 1040 Newton. (© 2006 WILEY‐VCH Verlag GmbH & Co. KGaA, Weinheim)  相似文献

The phenomenological nature of a new gravitational type interaction between two different bodies derived from Verlinde’s entropic approach to gravitation in combination with Sorkin’s definition of Universe’s quantum information content, is investigated. Assuming that the energy stored in this entropic gravitational field is dissipated under the form of gravitational waves and that the Heisenberg principle holds for this system, one calculates a possible value for an absolute minimum time scale in nature t = \frac1516 \fracL1/2(h/2p) Gc4 ~ 9.27×10-105\tau=\frac{15}{16} \frac{\Lambda^{1/2}\hbar G}{c^{4}}\sim9.27\times10^{-105} seconds, which is much smaller than the Planck time t P =(ħG/c 5)1/2∼5.38×10−44 seconds. This appears together with an absolute possible maximum value for Newtonian gravitational forces generated by matter Fg=\frac3230\fracc7L (h/2p) G2 ~ 3.84×10165F_{g}=\frac{32}{30}\frac{c^{7}}{\Lambda \hbar G^{2}}\sim 3.84\times 10^{165} Newtons, which is much higher than the gravitational field between two Planck masses separated by the Planck length F gP =c 4/G∼1.21×1044 Newtons.  相似文献

An equation of state for cold matter above white dwarf densities is evaluated. The gas is considered to be a mixture of degenerate neutrons, protons and electrons combined with nuclei of one type (that is only oneA andZ value). We derive the equilibrium equations for the mixture and calculate the number densities as well as theA andZ of the nucleus. Finally we calculate an equation of state, which smoothly goes over to that of a neutron, proton electron gas mixture at a density of 5×1013 g/cm3.  相似文献
