ECOMSED模式在杭州湾海域流场模拟中的应用   总被引:13,自引:0,他引:13  
针对杭州湾独特的喇叭型强潮河口湾的特点,基于Blumberg等(1996)的ECOMSED模式,引入动边界技术,建立杭州湾三维动边界的潮流模型.模型以正交曲线坐标下三维非线性水动力方程为基本方程,应用Mellor和Yamada的2.5阶湍流闭合模型计算紊动黏滞系数,嵌入Grant和Madsen的底边界层模型考虑波浪对底部应力的作用,采用干湿网格法模拟潮流漫滩过程;综合考虑径流,风应力,密度流和M2,S2,K1,O1四个主要分潮和M4,S4,MS4三个浅水分潮的作用,从而提高杭州湾潮流模拟的精度.通过验潮站调和常数和多次海流连续观测资料的验证,表明该文建立的模型可以更好的用于杭州湾流场的预报模拟.  相似文献

应用变网格有限元方法,采用任意四边形等参单元,离散横向积分的Navier—Stokes方程,建立河口潮流垂向二维数学模型。应用此模型,对长江口北槽水域两个观测站的潮流水位、流速垂线分布和整个北槽潮流流速纵向分布进行了模拟。潮流水位、流速垂线分布的模拟值分别与观测站的实测值可以较为吻合,证明了本文模型的实用有效。模拟得到的涨急、落急时刻整个北槽潮流流速纵向分布给出了定性的结果。  相似文献

The wind-induced water exchange between the ria of Ferrol (NW Spain) and the adjacent shelf is analyzed by means of a three-dimensional hydrodynamic model (MOHID2000). Since thermohaline measurements indicate that the estuary can be considered vertically homogeneous a barotropic version of the model has been used. Real in situ wind measurements have been used for model calibration and further analysis. The approach to study the wind effect on water exchange through the ria strait consisted in subtracting the signal calculated with only tidal forcing (Ts) from the one with wind and tidal forcing (WTs). This shows the existence of a residual circulation, with water flowing in wind direction along surfaces layers and a counter current flowing in the opposite direction at bottom layers. The flux across the strait of Ferrol has shown to increase linearly on wind strength, with a correlation larger than 96% and reaching values close to 20 m3 s−1 under real wind forcing.  相似文献

采用SWAN模型对渤海湾在定常风和非定常风作用下的波浪场进行了模拟,并利用黄骅港附近波浪统计资料对模拟结果进行了验证。结果表明:SWAN模型较好地模拟了渤海湾在定常风和非定常风作用下风浪成长和传播过程。此外,还应用ADCIRC潮流模型,初步探讨了潮流对波浪要素的影响:(1)无流存在时,波高的成长和波周期的变化是一条光滑的曲线,但当有流加入时,由于其流速和水位在一个潮周期内随时间的变化足不均匀的,其对波浪成长产生影响,使波高和周期呈不规则变化;(2)波浪成长初期,流对波高增长的影响并不明显,但当波高增大到一定程度时,流的存在对波高的影响是很明显的。  相似文献

The concept of age of water (AW) is applied to the Chesapeake Bay to investigate the long-term transport properties for dissolved substances. A real-time calibrated hydrodynamic Chesapeake Bay model in 3 Dimensions (CH3D), employing a boundary-fitted curvilinear grid, is used for the study. The long-term transport properties, represented by AW, are investigated under the conditions of low river inflow of 1995 and high river inflow of 1996, as well as for constant mean inflows. The influences of freshwater, density-induced circulation, and wind-induced transport on age distribution have been investigated. Model results show that river inflows, wind stress, and density-induced circulation play important roles in controlling the long-term transport in the Bay. The model results shows that it requires 120–300 days for a marked change in the characteristics of the pollutant source discharged into the Bay from the Susquehanna River to affect significantly the conditions near the mouth under different hydrodynamic conditions. An increase of river discharge results in increases of downstream residual current and gravitational circulation, and thus reduces AW. The density-induced circulation contributes to the transport substantially. The dissolved substances discharged into the Bay are transported out of the Bay more rapidly when the estuary becomes more stratified. Southeasterly and southwesterly winds have strong impacts on the transport compared to the northeasterly and northwesterly winds. The former increases lateral and vertical mixing significantly. Consequently, the gravitational circulation is reduced and the transport time is increased by 50%. The model results provide useful information for understanding the long-term transport processes in the Bay.  相似文献

为研究珠江口悬浮泥沙输运动力机制,本文发展了一套三维波、流、泥沙耦合数值模型。模型结果与观测数据吻合较好,统计显示模型获得良好的评分分值。利用数值模拟研究了不同强迫(径流,波浪和风)对珠江口中悬浮泥沙的影响。模型结果表明,河口重力环流对珠江口最大浑浊带的发展起着重要作用,特别是在小潮期间。另外,径流的增加可导致泥沙向海输运。底部的悬浮泥沙浓度随着波浪底部轨迹速度和波高的增大而增加。由于西滩水深较浅,波浪对西滩悬浮泥沙的影响大于东槽。西南风引起的波浪对悬沙的影响大于东北风引起的波浪的影响,而东北风致流对悬沙的影响略大于对西南风致流的影响。在其他条件相同情况下,稳定的西南风比稳定的东北风更有利于伶仃洋悬浮泥沙浓度的增加;在稳定的西南风下,伶仃洋平均悬浮泥沙浓度约为稳定东北风下的1.1倍。  相似文献

利用ECOMSED模式中的示踪粒子三维追踪模块分析罗源湾的水交换情况。结果表明,水交换能力的强弱与纳潮量的大小成正比。这里分析湾内水逗留期的空间分布,然后根据湾水存留期的不同将湾内划分为4个地区。进一步的研究表明不同海区湾水逗留期的差异主要是由欧拉余流场的结构差异造成的。由于风场可以影响当地的海流,因此不同的风场也会影响水交换能力。本文结果表明西南方向的风有利于水交换;而作为罗源湾全年主导风向的东北风,在平均风速的情况下,却阻碍了湾内水体的交换。本文还发现在不同投放时刻水交换能力的不同。初始投放时刻的不同对质点总数的减少速度有较明显的影响,高潮时和落潮中间时投放的质点数要比涨潮中间时和低潮时投放的质点数减少得快。罗源湾水交换能力的垂直分布不是均匀的:表层交换率较快,底层较慢,整个海域的交换能力与中层的相当。  相似文献

基于普林斯顿海洋模式(Princeton Ocean Model,POM),以M2、S2、K1、O1、M4和MS4 6个分潮为驱动,建立了包含漫滩处理的高分辨率钦州湾水动力模式。与现场观测的数据对比表明,该模式能较好地刻画钦州湾的水动力特征。在此基础上建立了水质模型,模拟钦州湾的水交换过程。模拟结果表明:钦州湾水交换能力整体上较强,整个湾平均的水体半交换时间约为18 d,水体平均存留时间为45 d。空间分布上,钦州保税港区以南海域水交换能力最强,半交换时间小于1 d;沿着水道向北,水交换能力逐渐减弱;茅尾海中部半交换时间为26~28 d;茅尾海的东、西、北3个部分存在水交换滞缓区,半交换时间超过50 d。数值实验表明,采用漫滩技术对准确模拟钦州湾潮流速度和水交换能力非常重要,不考虑漫滩过程会低估钦州湾的潮流速度和水体交换能力。水平扩散系数对流速及交换时间都有影响,但影响有限。  相似文献

Water exchange between a semiclosed bay and the adjacent sea, and its relation to atmospheric forcing is examined from a field experiment undertaken in the Bay of Kaštela (Adriatic Sea, Yugoslavia). Four ‘Aanderaa’ RCM4 current meters were attached on a single mooring in a 45 m deep inlet of the Bay for about two months. Water samples were taken for phytoplankton and bacteria determination at several additional stations. Salinity, temperature measurements, and determinations of the Secchi-disc depth were also made. Samples were taken approximately each week during the current measurement period so as to resolve the synoptic time scale. In the first part of the current measurement period the water was stratified, while in the second part the entire water column became vertically mixed after a strong wind event. During stratified conditions kinetic energy was at a maximum in the intermediate layer, while during homogeneous conditions the kinetic energy was trapped mainly in the bottom layer. Vertical modal structure of the current field showed that during homogeneous conditions wind induced surface flow was 180° out of phase with respect to the bottom flow. The current reversal appeared at the depth between 8 and 20 m. Under stratified conditions the surface flow was in phase with the bottom flow and water entered the Bay on one side of the inlet in the whole water column and left on the other side. These water exchange structures were reflected in the horizontal distribution of density, bacteria, Secchi-disc data and phytoplankton composition.  相似文献

The solution of the linear three dimensional hydrodynamic equations describing wind induced flow in a sea region is developed using the Galerkin method through the vertical. A basis set of B-splines is shown to have some computational advantages over a set of eigenfunctions (vertical modes). However, a basis set of modes leads to a system of essentially uncoupled equations and current profiles can be interpreted in terms of vertical modes.The influence of wind induced surface turbulence and turbulence at depth due to tidal motion upon current profiles in both deep (260 m) and shallow (35 m) sea regions is examined. The variation in the angle between surface current and surface wind for different viscosity profiles, and the effect of bottom friction upon it is considered.The magnitude and direction of the surface current is significantly influenced by surface eddy viscosity. However, viscosity at depth due to tidal motion also has an important effect upon the surface current.The time evolution of current structure following the sudden onset of a wind is examined using the modal model. Calculations show that the rate of damping of the internal modes is inversely proportional to the square of the depth. Consequently wind induced current structure takes longer to reach a steady state in a deep sea region than a shallow area.The influence of sea surface elevation gradients in determining the direction of surface current is also considered.  相似文献

The higher mode predominance in the current velocity fields associated with wind-induced shelf waves in the nondispersive regime is studied with a special attention to the effect of the geographical boundary, e.g. wide strait or wide bank areas. The effect of such large topographic change is represented by wind forcing with a finite dimension near the geographical boundary. The time development processes of the wind-induced shelf waves is examined in the context of an initial-value problem, where a spatially finite wind stress is applied att=0. Various modes of shelf waves excited at the boundary start propagating simultaneously and develop monotonically within the forcing region. After the passage of such wave, the energy of wind is used to maintain the attained equilibrium condition, i.e. the steady shelf circulation. The current evolution of the lower mode is restricted to the earlier stage because of the large propagation speed. In contrast, the higher mode waves can travel slowly within the forcing region so that the kinetic energy is supplied from wind stress for a long time before the equilibrium condition is established. Consequently, the observation at the fixed point near the geographical boundary would show that the higher mode waves gradually dominate as time goes on, i.e. for the long-term forcing.  相似文献

A three-dimensional tidal current model is developed and applied to the East China Sea (ECS), the Yellow Sea and the Bohai Sea. The model well reproduces the major four tides, namely M2, S2, K1 and O1 tides, and their currents. The horizontal distributions of the major four tidal currents are the same as those calculated by the horizontal two-dimensional models. With its high resolutions in the horizontal (12.5 km) and the vertical (20 layers), the model is used to investigate the vertical distributions of tidal current. Four vertical eddy viscosity models are used in the numerical experiments. As the tidal current becomes strong, its vertical shear becomes large and its vertical profile becomes sensitive to the vertical eddy viscosity. As a conclusion, the HU (a) model (Davieset al., 1997), which relates the vertical eddy viscosity to the water depth and depth mean velocity, gives the closest results to the observed data. The reproduction of the amphidromic point of M2 tide in Liaodong Bay is discussed and it is concluded that it depends on the bottom friction stress. The model reproduces a unique vertical profile of tidal current in the Yellow Sea, which is also found in the observed data. The reason for the reproduction of such a unique profile in the model is investigated.  相似文献

Wind plays an important role in regulating mixing/stratification, estuarine circulation, and transport timescale in estuaries. A three-dimensional model was used to investigate the effect of wind on transport time by using the concept of water age (WA) in the tidal Rappahannock River, a western tributary of the Chesapeake Bay, USA. The model was calibrated for water level, current, and salinity. A series of experiments regarding the effects of wind on WA was conducted under various dynamic conditions. The effect of wind on transport timescale depends strongly on the competition between the wind and buoyancy forcings, and on the pre-status of the circulation. A down-estuary wind generally decreases WA along the estuary. An up-estuary wind increases WA substantially because it changes the vertical mixing and estuarine circulation more significantly. When the buoyancy forcing increases, the up-estuary wind effect decreases whereas the down-estuary wind effect increases. A 2-day period wind pulse with a maximum speed of 15 m s−1 can alter WA for 3 days; but the wind influence on WA lasts up to 40 days in the simulation. Both local and non-local wind forcings alter WA distribution. The local wind enhances vertical mixing and changes the gravitational circulation in the downstream portion of the estuary whereas it enhances transport in the freshwater portion of the estuary. Consequently, the local wind has a significant impact on WA distribution. In contrast, the non-local wind does not change the gravitational circulation significantly by imposing setup (setdown) of water level at the open boundary, resulting in a lesser impact on WA distribution.  相似文献

南汇咀近岸水域是长江口与杭州湾交汇以及近岸水沙交换的重要地带。根据杭州湾口北部南汇咀-崎岖列岛断面上6个测站1999年1~2月大、中、小潮海流与悬沙含量的现场同步观测资料,阐述了该断面上潮流和悬沙浓度的分布变化特征,并通过断面进出潮通量和悬沙通量的计算,得出该断面以出水出沙为主要特征,与余流方向一致。分析表明,长江口与杭州湾的水沙交换是复杂的,而间接交换是其主要的方式。  相似文献

建立了一个基于σ变换和内外模式分裂技术三维水流数学模型,采用有限节点法(平面)和变步长差分法(σ向)对方程进行了离散;通过风生流和环岛水流两个理论模式对所建模型进行了校验,并将该模型应用到杭州湾的三维水流数值模拟中,效果良好,所建模型垂向分辨率高,简单实用,可应用于河口,海岸,湖泊等大范围水域的水流数值计算。  相似文献

The Dardanelles Strait is a remarkable example of a long, narrow, shallow, and strongly stratified strait with bidirectional exchange that is governed by both baroclinic and barotropic forcing with a wide spectrum of variability. A three-dimensional free surface primitive equation model is applied to study seasonal hydrodynamics variability in this strait. The calculated vertical structure of temperature, salinity, and velocity fields agrees well with available survey data. Seasonal monthly values of the volume exchange at the Aegean and Marmara exits are estimated. It is found that the seasonal exchange dynamics is governed by the turbulent friction and entrainment at the Nara Passage area. The mean annual water transport in the upper layer is increased by 80% after the Nara Passage. About 25% of water entering in the Dardanelles bottom layer reaches the Marmara Sea in winter, and 50% reaches it in summer. The estimate of the Dardanelles hydrodynamics according to hydraulic and viscous–advective–diffusive regime classification shows significant deviation from the two-layer hydraulic asymptotic. However, according to three-layer hydraulic theory, the flow is found to be critical in the Nara Passage area.  相似文献
