软岩三轴加、卸载试验中的抗压强度参数取值是一个非常关键的问题,目前还没有比较确定的方法,通常根据经验或工程要求确定。基于此,结合一组砂质泥岩的三轴加、卸载试验进行了详细研究,试验结果表明:(1)当围压大于10 MPa时,不论是三轴加载试验还是卸载试验,砂质泥岩均表现出明显的应变硬化特性;(2)砂质泥岩在三轴压缩和三轴卸荷两种应力路径的力学响应差别明显,在卸荷条件下通常只存在一条完整的剪切破坏面,而压缩条件下岩样没有明显的控制破裂面,并且剪胀效应明显;(3)将半对数法引入到软岩三轴加、卸载试验数据分析中,可以比较方便地确定软岩三轴加、卸载试验的抗压强度;(4)基于三轴加、卸载试验过程中的应力、应变增量分析,将软岩变形破坏过程分为3个阶段:平滑阶段、规则跳跃阶段和急剧跳跃阶段,各阶段划分的意义明确,可以作为抗压强度确定时的重要参考,因此,在软岩三轴试验数据分析时,可以综合采用这两种方法。研究提出的抗压强度确定方法可操作性强,在其他软岩三轴试验数据分析中值得参考借鉴。  相似文献

To measure the shear strength and deformability of a sedimentary soft rock, a small down-hole in-situ triaxial testing method is developed. The apparatus consists of a triaxial cell and an axial loading device which enables testing at any depth. In this method, a columnar specimen of diameter 90 mm and 285 mm height can be sheared at the bottom of a drill hole. A series of tests were conducted at a 50 m deep experimental cavern. The test gallery is contained in mudstone with some inter-bedded thin sand layers. The tests were done in three different depths in a borehole by a multiple-step loading method. The new testing method was successful to measure stress–strain relation of rock mass. The test results demonstrated that the multiple-step loading method is acceptable in mudstone formation, if an appropriate criterion for load reversal is selected to recognize the instant of failure by stress–strain relation during loading. In addition, different results for mechanical properties of mudstone rock mass were observed in the specimens contained sand layers. It is also concluded that, the same loading method is not successful if a sand layer is located in the middle of the specimen due to large damage induced in early stages of loading.  相似文献

Rock mechanical behaviors and deformation characteristics are associated with stress history and loading path. Unloading conditions occur during the formation of a salt cavity as a result of washing techniques. Such conditions require an improved understanding of the mechanical and deformation behaviors of rock salt. In our study, rock salt dilatancy behaviors under triaxial unloading confining pressure tests were analyzed and compared with those from conventional uniaxial and triaxial compression tests. The volume deformation of rock salt under unloading was more than under triaxial loading, but less than under uniaxial loading (with the same deviatoric stress). Generally, under the same axial compression, the corresponding dilatancy rate decreased as the confining compression increased, and under the same confining compression, the corresponding dilatancy rate increased as the axial compression increased. The dilatancy boundary of the unloading confining pressure test began with unloading. This is different from the dilatancy of the uniaxial and triaxial compression tests. The accelerated dilatancy point boundary stress value was affected by confining and axial compressions. The specimens entered into a creep state after unloading. The associated creep rate depends on the deviatoric stress and confining compression values at the end of the unloading process. Based on unloading theory and the experimental data, we propose a constitutive model of rock salt damage. Our model reflects the dilatancy progression at constant axial stress and reduced lateral confinement.  相似文献

对英安岩岩样开展单轴、常规三轴加荷和三轴卸荷试验,并对试验过程进行声发射监测,研究在3种应力路径下英安岩变形破坏过程的声发射b值特征差异,探索声发射b值在岩石破坏前兆方面的规律。研究结果表明:英安岩岩样的声发射b值特征与加载的应力路径关系密切,加荷路径即单轴路径和常规三轴路径下b值变化规律相似,加荷与卸荷路径下b值变化规律差异较大。单轴和常规三轴加荷试验中,围压对声发射b值特征有较大的影响。围压越大,岩样在破坏前,b值的整体水平越高。岩样在破坏时,声发射b值下降幅度越大、降低速率越快,且b值达到整个过程中的最小值。三轴卸荷试验中,围压对声发射b值特征影响不明显。与常规三轴试验相比,三轴卸荷试验在卸荷至一定水平后,其b值整体水平更低,最终破坏时b值的最小值更小。提出当岩样峰值强度后存在明显的应力跌落,此时声发射b值的快速下降可以作为破坏前兆。b值的临界值要通过大量室内岩石声发射试验的统计结果来确定。将声发射b值快速下降、临界值突破0.6作为试验英安岩岩样的破坏前兆。  相似文献

地下洞室开挖围岩经历典型径向卸载、环向加载应力路径,由此引起的岩体强度、变形特征和破坏机制也不尽相同。针对锦屏二级水电站高地应力赋存环境,对施工排水洞大理岩开展常规单轴全应变、三轴压缩、卸围压、卸围压-加载轴压等4种不同应力路径力学试验,得到应力-应变全过程曲线、变形破坏特征和极限储能变化规律。试验研究结果表明, (1)锦屏二级水电站大理岩破坏时轴向应变一般较小,为硬脆性材料,卸荷应力路径下该脆性特征更为明显;(2)卸围压同时加载轴压试验峰值强度对应轴向应变、环向应变及体积应变值一般高于单纯的卸围压值,而对应峰值强度则一般低于卸围压值;(3)卸荷速率较大时,变形模量越大,大理岩峰值强度越低。加载速率越大,变形模量越小,峰值强度越高。初始围压越高,变形模量值越低,峰值强度越高;(4)无侧限作用时试件主要为张拉破坏,低侧限作用时为剪切破坏为主,局部存在张拉破坏,较高侧限时,剪切面为典型X或Y型;(5)岩石试件具有极限储能值,该值受多种因素的影响。一般情况下试件破坏对应围压越高,极限储能值越高,卸载速率越大,极限储能值越小。研究结果对于岩爆孕育发生机制解释以及工程实际问题的解决均有参考价值。  相似文献

节理对卸荷条件下岩体的力学性质有重要影响。通过含2条不同间距预制断续节理岩体的三轴卸荷破坏试验,研究了节理岩体在卸荷应力条件下的应力-应变特征、强度、变形特征、破坏规律及节理间距对岩体力学性质的影响。研究表明:相比于完整岩体,节理岩体卸荷破坏时从峰值强度跌落至残余强度过程中轴向应变较大,为完整岩体的3~4倍,岩体破坏时极限强度明显低于完整岩体,脆性特征不如完整岩体明显;节理岩体卸荷破坏时,变形模量有较大幅度的降低,其降低程度是同条件下完整岩体的6~7倍,节理间距越大,变形模量降低程度越大;与含预制节理岩样三轴加载试验结果相比,节理岩体卸荷条件下破坏程度更为强烈,除剪切破裂面外,沿最大主应力方向分布的不同级别的张性裂隙非常发育,预制节理的间距对岩体破坏形态影响不大。  相似文献

Since cross-anisotropic sand behaves differently when the loading direction or the stress state changes, the influences of the loading direction and the intermediate principal stress ratio (b = (σ 2 ? σ 3)/(σ 1 ? σ 3)) on the initiation of strain localization need study. According to the loading angle (angle between the major principal stress direction and the normal of bedding plane), a 3D non-coaxial non-associated elasto-plasticity hardening model was proposed by modifying Lode angle formulation of the Mohr–Coulomb yield function and the stress–dilatancy function. By using bifurcation analysis, the model was used to predict the initiation of strain localization under plane strain and true triaxial conditions. The predictions of the plane strain tests show that the major principal strain at the bifurcation points increases with the loading angle, while the stress ratio decreases with the loading angle. According to the loading angle and the intermediate principal stress ratio, the true triaxial tests were analyzed in three sectors. The stress–strain behavior and the volumetric strain in each sector can be well captured by the proposed model. Strain localization occurs in most b value conditions in all three sectors except for those which are close to triaxial compression condition (b = 0). The difference between the peak shear strength corresponding to the strain localization and the ultimate shear strength corresponding to plastic limit becomes obvious when the b value is near 0.4. The influence of bifurcation on the shear strength becomes weak when the loading direction changes from perpendicular to the bedding plane to parallel. The bifurcation analysis based on the proposed model gives out major principal strain and peak shear strength at the initiation of strain localization; the given results are consistent with experiments.  相似文献

An Empirical Failure Criterion for Intact Rocks   总被引:1,自引:1,他引:0  
The parameter m i is an important rock property parameter required for use of the Hoek–Brown failure criterion. The conventional method for determining m i is to fit a series of triaxial compression test data. In the absence of laboratory test data, guideline charts have been provided by Hoek to estimate the m i value. In the conventional Hoek–Brown failure criterion, the m i value is a constant for a given rock. It is observed that using a constant m i may not fit the triaxial compression test data well for some rocks. In this paper, a negative exponent empirical model is proposed to express m i as a function of confinement, and this exercise leads us to a new empirical failure criterion for intact rocks. Triaxial compression test data of various rocks are used to fit parameters of this model. It is seen that the new empirical failure criterion fits the test data better than the conventional Hoek–Brown failure criterion for intact rocks. The conventional Hoek–Brown criterion fits the test data well in the high-confinement region but fails to match data well in the low-confinement and tension regions. In particular, it overestimates the uniaxial compressive strength (UCS) and the uniaxial tensile strength of rocks. On the other hand, curves fitted by the proposed empirical failure criterion match test data very well, and the estimated UCS and tensile strength agree well with test data.  相似文献

对灰岩开展单轴、常规三轴与峰前卸荷试验,对比分析不同应力路径下灰岩变形过程的能量变化特征。试验分析表明,灰岩加荷破坏和卸荷破坏的能量变化规律存在明显差异。由于围压抑制了裂纹的扩展,与单轴压缩破坏相比,常规三轴压缩试验灰岩吸收的总能量 和积蓄的弹性能 更多。常规三轴试验灰岩积蓄的弹性能 在峰值强度前一直增加,而卸荷破坏的弹性能 在卸荷开始后基本不变,说明卸荷破坏释放的弹性能 主要是在加荷阶段累积完成的,岩体所处的初始地应力状态决定了其破坏的能量释放量。加荷和卸荷应力路径下,灰岩临近破坏点耗散能 都快速增加,但是卸荷破坏耗散能 增速远大于加荷破坏耗散能增速,耗散能的迅速增加表明岩石破坏的发生。随着围压升高,灰岩吸收的总能量 和储存的弹性能 逐渐升高。随着卸荷速度增加,灰岩吸收的总能量 、储存的弹性能 和耗散的应变能 逐渐减小。  相似文献

川藏铁路在穿越西藏贡觉地区时遇到三叠系粉砂质泥岩,在高地应力条件下容易发生大变形等危害。文章开展了不同围压下的岩石三轴压缩和和三轴蠕变试验,结合PFC数值模拟,研究了粉砂质泥岩在不同围压下的蠕变特性和长期强度研究,结果表明:贡觉粉砂质泥岩流变具有西原蠕变模型特征,蠕变与常规三轴试验条件下,随着围压不断增大,粉砂质泥岩试样均由拉-剪破坏向单剪破坏过渡,剪切破裂面与水平线的夹角逐渐减小,微裂纹数量减少;蠕变试验相较于常规三轴试验,由拉应力引起的压碎带影响范围更广;在高围压条件下,粉砂质泥岩更容易发生流变,随着围压的增大,轴向应变、侧向应变和体积应变均增大,微裂纹数量呈下降趋势;瞬时弹性模量及黏弹性系数与围压呈线性递增关系,黏弹性模量与围压呈对数型增长关系,黏塑性系数与围压呈指数型增长关系。在荷载长期作用下,岩石长期强度低于瞬时强度。  相似文献

卸荷条件下的岩石强度特性研究对于分析开挖作用下岩石工程的安全性具有极为重要的意义。卸荷试验中影响岩石强度的因素很多,包括岩性、卸荷点的位置、卸荷应力路径和卸荷速率等,以锦屏大理岩为对象,重点研究卸荷速率对强度的影响。提出用屈服接近速率来统一表征加荷和卸荷下的应力增加或减小的速率,通过比较加荷和卸荷条件下的屈服接近速率表明,当围压卸荷速率为常规试验轴向应力加荷速率的0.2~0.3倍时,两种应力路径下接近破坏时的屈服接近速率相当。通过2D弹塑性细胞自动机的数值试验和大理岩的室内卸围压试验来验证理论分析的结果,表明:围压卸荷速率越大,岩样的强度就越高;当卸荷速率为常规轴向加荷速率的0.2~0.3倍时,卸荷和加荷路径下的强度相当。从而得出结论:对于各种卸荷应力路径,如果卸荷点处于弹性范围内,当接近破坏时的屈服接近速率一定时,应力路径对强度的影响不明显。  相似文献

Summary. Most currently used techniques for analysing the stability of near surface structures, such as rock slopes, are based on the application of the effective Coulomb shear strength parameters cohesion c′, and the angle of friction φ′ on some known or anticipated shear surface subjected to an effective normal stress σ′n. The most widely used of these techniques are the variants of the method of slices and related upper bound techniques. If the Hoek-Brown criterion is to be used to model the strength of near surface fractured rocks, it is necessary to determine equivalent Coulomb shear strength parameters for the specified level of effective normal stress. Calculation of the equivalent Coulomb parameters for the Hoek-Brown criterion for cases when a ≠ 0.5 is not a straightforward matter. A simple procedure for calculating instantaneous values of ci and φ′i has been developed based on spreadsheet calculations and the application of a numerical optimisation routine. This procedure can also be applied to calculating the Hoek-Brown envelope plotted in shear stress/normal stress space. A simple closed form solution for ci and tan φ′i has also been developed for the special case when a = 1. A three-dimensional version of the Hoek-Brown criterion has been developed by combining it with the Drucker-Prager criterion. This new yield criterion has been implemented by numerical solution of the governing equations. A simplification of this three-dimensional yield criterion has been developed by introducing an intermediate principal stress weighting factor. Comparison with published results demonstrates that this simplified criterion has the capacity to model the results of true triaxial tests for a range of different rock types over a wide range of stress levels. The new three-dimensional yield criterion has the advantage that its input parameters can be determined from routine uniaxial compression tests and mineralogical examination.  相似文献

为深入探究两淮矿区典型砂质泥岩劈裂注浆起裂机制,研制了常规三轴劈裂注浆试验装置,开展了类砂质泥岩浆压致裂起裂压力模型试验,基于试验结果分析了岩石强度与应力状态对注浆起裂压力、裂缝扩展形态影响规律,揭示了砂质泥岩劈裂注浆起裂机制。研究表明:起裂压力与岩石抗压强度呈正相关,且岩石抗压强度越高,劈裂路径越复杂;起裂压力对围压的敏感程度远高于轴压,且应力差 Δσ =σV σH越大,裂缝形态越规整;孔压三轴条件下,封闭裸孔段浆压致裂法确定的岩石抗拉强度值约为单轴抗拉强度的 2.5倍。该研究结果可为今后类似岩层劈裂注浆参数设计与施工提供参考。  相似文献

结合金坛地下盐穴储气库工程,以腔体围岩实际受力状态为研究依据,进行了盐岩卸围压力学特性试验,得到了盐岩卸围压过程的应力-应变关系、变形特征及其规律。试验结果表明,在卸围压初始阶段,试样的轴向和径向应变增加相对缓慢,且应变值和围压基本呈线性,随着围压继续降低,轴向与径向应变值急剧增加;卸载曲线与加载曲线相比,在最大主应力 相等的条件下,当卸载围压达到与常规三轴压缩围压相对应值时,对应的轴向和径向应变值较三轴压缩时应变值要大,表明卸荷试验能引起试样更大的变形,卸荷产生的扩容量比加载时扩容量更大,更容易导致试样变形破坏;盐岩卸围压表现为塑性变形特征,与其他硬岩卸围压属脆性破坏有较大区别。研究结果对盐穴储气库工程的稳定性评价和注采气过程具有一定的指导意义和参考价值。  相似文献

为了探究川藏交通廊道沿线典型岩石冻融循环条件下的劣化规律,选取昌都-林芝段的花岗岩、片麻岩和砂岩为试验对象,开展冻融循环条件下岩石加卸荷试验,结果表明:(1)随着冻融循环次数的增加,岩石抗压强度损失率达30%,粘聚力降幅达18.4%,内摩擦角降幅达10.5%,弹性模量逐渐下降,泊松比逐渐增加;(2)三轴压缩试验中,岩样的变形模量呈现与抗压强度类似的劣化趋势,但是变形模量的劣化幅度比抗压强度劣化幅度大;冻融循环作用下岩石抗压强度越大劣化程度越低,对砂岩的劣化最明显,片麻岩次之,花岗岩最小;(3)与三轴压缩试验相比,在卸围压试验中,冻融循环作用对岩石的卸荷量同样有劣化作用,卸荷程度较小时岩石劣化并不明显,随着卸荷量的逐渐增加,卸荷量大于80%时,岩石的变形模量呈指数型下降,泊松比呈指数型增加;(4)随着冻融循环次数的增加,三轴压缩试验中由拉张和剪切破坏造成的裂纹数量增多;卸围压试验中岩石以拉张破坏为主;岩石微裂纹数量增加的同时,不平整度增加,矿物颗粒之间的胶结状态变差;(5)综合试验结果分析,冻融作用对岩石劣化作用最强的为砂岩,其次是片麻岩,最弱为花岗岩.   相似文献

A series of triaxial compression tests, triaxial extension tests, and triaxial compression creep tests were conducted to evaluate the strength, deformability, and permeability of rock salt from the Jintan location. Based on a previous analysis, the measured data can be physically modeled very well as shown by the constitutive model Hou/Lux and indicate that China’s representative bedded rock salt from the Jintan location is characterized by good ductility and deformation properties, similar to the European high-purity rock salt. Based on a comparison of compression as well as extension failure strength determined at rock salt from Jintan location, a similarity of compression and extension failure strength could be demonstrated. Permeation flow seems to be an anisotropic process because the permeability measured at samples prior to failure by compression tests differs to those measured at samples prior to failure by extension tests. The anisotropy of damage and destruction of rock salt has a significant influence on permeability. In case of triaxial compression tests, the measured permeability increases two to six orders of magnitude because of consistent direction of injection and cracks. In case of triaxial extension tests, however, the permeability increases less with a maximum of two orders in magnitude. The test results are significant for understanding the load-bearing behavior of rock salt from Jintan location and investigations with reference to the stability and tightness of underground caverns.  相似文献

The thirteen single-crystal elastic moduli for diopside as determined by the acoustic technique based on Brillouin scattering are: c11=2.23, c22=1.71, c33=2.35, c44=0.74, c55=0.67, c66=0.66, c12=0.77, c13=0.81, c15=0.17, c23=0.57, c25=0.07, c35=0.43, c46=0.073. The Reuss bound of the adiabatic bulk and shear moduli calculated from these data are K s=1.08 Mbar and G=0.651 Mbar. The room-pressure isothermal bulk modulus, K T , and the pressure derivative of the bulk modulus, K′ T have also been determined on a four-circle diffractometer, from a single crystal mounted in a gasketed opposed-anvil diamond cell, giving values of K T =1.13 Mbar and K′ T =4.8. The principal axes of the strain ellipsoid, calculated from the elastic moduli and observed in the static compression data, are identical, and the linear compressibilities are in reasonable agreement. The single-crystal elastic moduli can be correlated with the structural features of diopside.  相似文献

采用岩石流变试验机,在三轴应力下分别对干燥与饱水两种含水状态的粉砂质泥岩开展室内蠕变力学试验。分析了水对粉砂质泥岩蠕变量、蠕变长期强度的影响作用。依据岩石的蠕变性质,选取Burgers蠕变模型对其进行描述,得出两种含水状态下岩石的蠕变模型参数。对比干燥与饱水含水状态下岩石的Burgers蠕变模型参数,分析得出了水影响Burgers蠕变模型参数的基本规律。结果表明:(1)相同应力水平下,水对粉砂质泥岩的瞬时应变特性影响较小,而对岩石的蠕应变特性影响相对较大;(2)饱水试样的蠕变长期强度是干燥试样的39.3%,由于水的作用,粉砂质泥岩的蠕变长期强度大幅降低,在工程中应考虑由于水的影响作用而导致的岩石长期强度降低问题;(3)水对Burgers蠕变模型各参数的影响作用从大到小依次为:η1、G1、G2和η2,即水对Burgers模型中串联的元件力学特性影响较大,而对并联的元件力学特性影响相对较小;(4)由于水的影响作用,粉砂质泥岩达到稳定蠕变阶段所需的时间显著增加,岩石的稳态蠕变速率显著增大;(5)由于水的影响作用,导致粉砂质泥岩的蠕变力学特性发生显著改变。因此,在重大岩石工程中应重视水对岩石时效变形的影响作用。  相似文献

By incorporating the nonlinear variation of a soil's compressibility and permeability during the process of consolidation, an analytical solution for the radial consolidation of vertical drains has been developed for a general time‐variable loading. The general solution was verified for the cases of instantaneous loading and ramp loading. Detailed solutions were further derived for two special loading schemes: multistage loading and preloading–unloading–reloading. The nonlinear consolidation behavior of a vertical drain subjected to these two types of loading schemes was then investigated by a parametric study. The results show that the loading rate, the ratio of the compressibility index to the permeability index (Cc/Ck), and the initial stress state have a significant influence on the consolidation rate. A smaller value of Cc/Ck, a larger initial stress, or a fast loading rate always leads to a rapid consolidation rate. During the unloading period, a negative excess pore water pressure may occur, and a slower unloading rate may reduce this negative value. Copyright © 2014 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

为研究高应力水平条件下岩石卸荷扩容特性及其剪胀角变化规律,开展了若干不同初始围压水平的三轴峰前卸围压试验,同时进行了相应围压水平的常规三轴压缩试验。基于试验成果分析了卸荷应力路径对砂岩扩容的影响效应,总结了卸荷应力路径下剪胀角变化规律,进而提出了基于卸荷应力路径的剪胀角函数,并给出了其数值实现方法,最后通过对三轴峰前卸围压试验的数值模拟,验证了所提出的剪涨角函数的可行性与合理性。研究表明:(1)加载路径时,不同围压水平下峰前扩容体积应变值相差不大,而卸荷应力路径时,随着围压水平的增加,峰前扩容体积应变从最小值3.15×10?3增加到最大值9.65×10?3,卸荷路径下的峰前扩容体积应变约为加载路径的1.1~4.0倍;(2)卸荷应力路径下偏应力峰值对应的体积应变基本为0或接近于0,而加载应力路径下偏应力峰值对应的体积应变均为负值;(3)卸荷应力路径条件下峰前扩容体积应变在总扩容体积应变中所占比例显著大于加载路径;(4)两种应力路径下,剪胀角随塑性剪切应变增加均经历了先增加后减小的过程,并且低围压工况下偏应力峰值对应的剪胀角和最大剪胀角均大于高围压工况;(5)与加载路径相比,卸荷路径下的剪胀角更快达到剪胀角最大值,并且其偏应力峰值对应的剪胀角和最大剪胀角更大;(6)基于砂岩三轴卸荷试验成果,采用线性拟合方法得出了以围压和峰后塑性剪切应变增量为自变量的剪胀角函数,基于该函数与应变软化本构模型的砂岩三轴峰前卸围压试验的数值模拟结果与试验结果吻合较好,表明该函数能较好地描述三轴峰前卸围压条件下砂岩的扩容特性。以上结论可为深部地下工程变形预测、稳定性分析与支护设计提供理论基础。  相似文献
