Many studies have shown the soil gas method to be one of the most reliable investigation tools in the research of earthquake precursory signals and fault delineation. The present research is aimed finding the relationship between soil gas distribution and tectonic systems in the vicinity of the Hsinhua Fault zone in the Tainan area of Southern Taiwan. More than 110 samples were collected along 13 traverses to find the spatial distribution of Rn, He, CO2 and N2. The spatial congruence of all the gases shows that N2 is the most probable carrier gas of He, whereas CO2 seems to be a good carrier gas of Rn in this area. From the spatial distribution of Rn, He, CO2 and N2 the trace of Hsinhua Fault and neotectonic features can be identified. The spatial distribution of studied gases shows a clear anomalous trend ENE–SWS along the Hsinhua Fault.  相似文献

Chemical (major and trace elements) and isotopic compositions (δD and δ18O in waters and δ13C in CO2 and 3He/4He in gases) of natural thermal (11) and cold (39) fluids (spring waters and gases) discharging from a tectonic window of Mesozoic limestones in central Italy, have proved to be the result of mixing processes inside the limestone formations. The limestones provide a preferential route for subsurface fluid migration and they gather both descending cold, Ca-HCO3, B-depleted groundwaters and rising convective Ca-SO4(HCO3), CO2-saturated, B-rich thermal waters. Atmospherically-derived descending gas components (N2, Ne, He), dissolved in rainfall that infiltrates the limestone system mix with N2, Ne, He-depleted hot rising waters. Boron in the liquid phase and N2 and Ne in the gas phase are the most useful elements to trace the mixing process. The deeper gas samples recognised in the area are associated with the hotter waters emerging in the area. In spite of being depleted in Ne and He and light hydrocarbons they have the higher measured 3He/4He ratios, suggesting a contribution of mantle 3He to the gas phase. This contrasts with deep circulation in the crust which would lead to increased concentration of 4He in the deeper gases. Paradoxically, there is more relative concentration of 4He in the more air-contaminated gas samples than in the deeper gas samples. A similar paradox exists when the δ13C of CO2 in the deeper gas samples is considered. The shallower air-contaminated gas samples, although they should be affected by the addition of soil-13C depleted organic C, have δ13C in CO2 more positive than the deeper gas samples recognized. Since any deep hydrothermal source of CO2 should generate CO2 with more positive values of δ13C than those measured at surface, a multiple (single) calcite precipitation process from hydrothermal solutions, with C isotopic fractionation along the rising path inside the Mesozoic limestone formations, is proposed.  相似文献

The spatio-temporal variations of soil gas in the seismic fault zone produced by the 12 May 2008 Wenchuan Ms 8.0 earthquake were investigated based on the field measurements of soil gas concentrations after the main shock. Concentrations of He, H2, CO2, CH4, O2, N2, Rn, and Hg in soil gas were measured in the field at eight short profiles across the seismic rupture zone in June and December 2008 and July 2009. Soil-gas concentrations of more than 800 sampling sites were obtained. The data showed that the magnitudes of the He and H2 anomalies of three surveys declined significantly with decreasing strength of the aftershocks with time. The maximum concentrations of He and H2 (40 and 279.4 ppm, respectively) were found in three replicates at the south part of the rupture zone close to the epicenter. The spatio-temporal variations of CO2, Rn, and Hg concentrations differed obviously between the north and south parts of the fault zone. The maximum He and H2 concentrations in Jun 2008 occurred near the parts of the rupture zone where vertical displacements were larger. The anomalies of He, H2, CO2, Rn, and Hg concentrations could be related to the variation in the regional stress field and the aftershock activity.  相似文献

Carbon dioxide emissions from the soil have been investigated along lines of equally spaced sampling points perpendicular to the Pernicana fault on Mt Etna. Anomalous values of soil CO2 have been found not only along the fault plane, but also along directions parallel to it, both to the N and to the S of the main fault. The acquired data seem to reveal a shallow step-like geometry of the Pernicana fault system with parallel faults being generally not deeper than the interface between Etna's volcanic cover and its sedimentary basement (a few hundred meters). The distribution of the anomalous CO2 emissions has also revealed that the Pernicana fault continues at least as far as the Ionian sea, in an area where only sedimentary rocks crop out. This finding would suggest that the main structure is deeper than the base of the volcanic cover, thus cutting at least the uppermost portion of Etna's sedimentary basement.Isotopic analyses of C carried out in samples from locations of high CO2, seem to indicate that the emitted CO2 is a mixture of an organic shallow component and a minor deeper magmatic one.Both chemical and isotopic data on soil gases emitted in the easternmost part of the studied area distinguished another tectonic structure which seems to be much deeper than the Pernicana fault and is roughly directed NNE-SSW, this direction being coincident with an important structural trend of eastern Sicily.  相似文献

幔源CO_2气的形成和分布与不同级别断层早白垩世以来的活动密切相关。郯庐断裂带是研究区最主要的成气断层,拆离断层和变换断层这些地壳断层是次要的成气断层,二者于早白垩世143Ma、124Ma、新生代~43Ma、~24Ma和~8Ma的走滑或伸展活动,以及与之准同时的新生代碱性玄武岩浆活动,控制了幔源CO_2气的分散和聚集。它们与基底断裂、盖层断裂共同组成运移通道,其中拆离滑脱处的低速带和盖层断裂中的顺层断层是重要的水平运移通道。早白垩世古太平洋板块俯冲脱水脱气,产生的幔源CO_2气沿着郯庐断裂带向上分散聚集;新生代以来受控于太平洋板块俯冲方向和速度的改变以及印欧板块碰撞的远程效应,形成幔源CO_2气。与此同时郯庐断裂带切割深度亦逐渐加大,~43Ma碱性岩浆活动亦开始形成幔源CO_2气并主要位于断裂带,24Ma和8Ma(5Ma)为新近纪碱性岩浆活动脱气两个主要形成时期。郯庐断裂带的活动使地幔脱气形成的CO_2沿断层走向向上运移,并在作为重要横向运移通道的拆离断层拆离滑脱处,与因岩浆脱气形成的CO_2汇合,再通过陡倾斜、缓倾斜基底断层、盖层断层的接力传递在浅部聚集成藏。预测郯庐断裂带附近是无机成因油气重要的聚集分布区带。  相似文献

Sardinia is typically seismically quiescent, displaying an almost complete lack of historical earthquakes and instrumentally recorded seismicity. This evidence may be in agreement with the presence of a ductile layer in the northern sector of the island, as suggested by the He isotopic signature in fluids rising to the surface through quiescent fault systems. The fault systems have been found to be “segmented” and therefore isolated in fluid circulation. The study of fluid behaviour along fault systems becomes strategically important when applied to solve some geological risk assessments such as Rn-indoor, or to define geological structures like potential CO2 storage sites. Both of these have been recently requested by the exploitation in Italy of the Euratom Directive and the evolution of the KyotoProtocol policy.Four water-dominated hydrothermal areas of Sardinia, located along regional fault systems, were considered: Campidano Graben, Tirso Valley, Logudoro and Casteldoria. A fluid geochemical survey was carried out taking into account physical–chemical and environmental parameters, major elements within gaseous and liquid phases, a few minor and trace elements, selected isotope ratios (2H, 18O, 13C, 3He/4He), 222Rn concentration, and some dissolved gases.Two different fluids have been recognised as regards both water chemistry and dissolved gases: (i) CO2-rich gases, poor in He and Rn, with a relatively high 3He/4He ratio (up to R/Ra = 2.32), associated with Na–HCO3–(Cl) thermal and cold groundwater; (ii) gases rich in He and N2, poor in CO2 and Rn, with a low 3He/4He ratio, associated with alkaline thermal and cold waters. The distribution of these two groups of fluids characterises the Sardinian tectonic systems. In fact, gas fluxes are not homogeneous, being mainly related to the different fault segments and to the areas where Quaternary basalts crop out. The underground geochemical evolution of the Sardinian fluids, as a function of the geological and tectonic systems, provides some suggestions for solving one of the most important problems: CO2 geological sequestration. In order to reduce the CO2 excess produced by human activity, the best geological disposal sites are reservoirs with low hydraulic conductivity, sealed to fluid movement, or aquifers characterised by maximum pH buffering capacity of their mineralogical matrix. The knowledge of the role of faults, as permeability barriers or as deep fluid uprising pathways, is prerequisite.  相似文献

The CO2 gas pools of Jiyang sag are located along the Gaoqing–Pingnan fault within a region of alkaline basalts. The concentration of CO2 in the gas pools is in the range of 68.85–96.99%. All of the geochemical tracers for the CO2 gas pools support the suggestion that CO2 was mainly derived from mantle degassing. The δ13C values of CO2 in the gas pools are in the range of −5.67–−3.41‰, which are higher than those of organogenic CO2, and near to those of abiogenic CO2. Their 3He/4He ratios are 2.80–4.47×106, i.e. the R/Ra ratios are 2.00–3.19, showing that the Jiyang sag had undergone strong mantle degassing. CO2/3He ratios are 0.59–0.89×109, which are identical to those for N-MORB, indicating that CO2 in these CO2 gas pools was mainly derived from the mantle. Accompanying the intrusion of mantle-derived magma, the mantle-derived CO2 migrated upwards along deep faults and was trapped in advantageous structures forming gas pools.  相似文献

Chemical and isotopic compositions have been measured for N2-He-rich bubbling gases discharging from hot springs in the Hainan Island, Southern China. Observed 3He/4He ratios (0.1–1.3 RA) indicate the occurrence of a mantle component throughout the island, which has been highly diluted by a crustal radiogenic 4He component. The occurrence of mantle-derived helium is high in the northern island (12%–16% of total He) and gradually decreases towards southern coast (1%–3% of total He). Such a distribution pattern is most likely controlled by the Pleocene-Quaternary volcanic activities in the northern island and groundwater circulation along the deep major faults. The 40Ar/36Ar and N2/Ar ratios suggest that N2 and Ar of the hot spring gases are mostly meteoric. Although δ13C values of CO2 (–20‰ to –27‰) with low concentrations are consistent with the biogenic origin, the combination of 3He/4He and d13CCO2 suggests a two end-member mixing of mantle and crustal components with CO2/3He ratios of 2×109 and 8×1011, respectively. However, the low CO2/3He ratios (1–22×106) can not be ascribed in terms of the simple mixing but has to be explained by the addition of radiogenic 4He and loss of CO2 by calcite precipitation in the hydrothermal system, which is most likely controlled by the degree of gas-water-rock interaction.  相似文献

A physical model based on the advective-diffusion theory was developed in order to describe the mixing between a deep gas source and the atmosphere. The model was used to predict the isotopic fractionation of carbon in soil CO2. Gas samples were collected at different depths in areas characterized by different geological settings and CO2 fluxes. The relative theoretical and experimental isotopic profiles were compared and a good agreement was found. These profiles show how the isotopic composition of CO2 changes through the upper few decimeters of soil and how the amount of the isotopic fractionation is strongly influenced by soil CO2 flux. Finally, the model was used to derive the carbon isotopic composition of unfractioned deep CO2 source for all the investigated sites.  相似文献

Niutuozhen geothermal field is located in the Jizhong graben, belonging to the northern part of Bohai Bay Basin in North China. Chemical and isotopic analyses were carried out on 14 samples of the geothermal fluids discharged from Neogene Minghuazhen (Nm), Guantao (Ng), and Jixianian Wumishan (Jxw) formations. The δ2H and δ18O in water, δ13C in CH4, δ13C in CO2, and 3He/4He ratio in the gases were analyzed in combination with chemical analyses on the fluids in the Niutuozhen geothermal field. The chemical and isotopic compositions indicate a meteoric origin of the thermal waters. The reservoir temperatures estimated by chemical geothermometry are in the range between 60 and 108 °C. The results show that the gases are made up mainly by N2 (18.20–97.42 vol%), CH4 (0.02–60.95 vol%), and CO2 (0.17–25.14 vol%), with relatively high He composition (up to 0.52 vol%). The chemical and isotopic compositions of the gas samples suggest the meteoric origin of N2, predominant crustal origins of CH4, CO2, and He. The mantle-derived He contributions are calculated to be from 5 to 8% based on a crust–mantle binary mixing model. The deep temperatures in the Jxw reservoir were evaluated based on gas isotope geothermometry to be in the range from 141 to 165 °C. The mantle-derived heat fraction in the surface heat flow is estimated to be in the range of 48–51% based on 3He/4He ratios.  相似文献

In the Northern Jiangsu basin there are high pure CO2 gas pools, low condensed oil-containing CO2 gas pools, high condensed oil-containing CO2 gas pools and He-containing natural gas pools, with the δ13Cco2 (PDB) values ranging from -2.87‰ to -6.50‰, 3He/4He 3.71×10-6 to 6.42×10-6, R/Ra 2.64 to 4.5, 40Ar/36Ar 705 to 734, belonging to typical mantle source inorganic gas pools which are related to young magmatic activity. The gas layers occur in two major reservoir-caprock systems, the terrestrial Meso-Cenozoic clastic rock system and the marine Meso-Palaeozoic carbonate rock-clastic rock system. Controlled by the difference in the scale of traps in the two reservoir-caprock systems, large and medium-scale inorganic gas pools are formed in the marine Meso-Palaeozoic Group and only small ones are formed in the terrestrial Meso-Cenozoic strata. Inorganic gas pools in this basin are distributed along the two deep lithospheric faults on the west and south boundaries of the basin. Gas pools are developed  相似文献

Gas concentrations and isotopic compositions of He and CO2 were determined on free gas samples from ten hot springs of the Rehai geothermal field, Tengchong, China. The results showed that hot-spring CO2 gas, together with He,was derived mainly from the mantle, indicating the accumulation of mantle-derived volatiles beneath the survey area. The δ^13C values of CO2, higher than those of the typical mantle-derived carbon and the isotopic composition of hot-spring-free CO2 in unequilibrium with dissolved CO2, are recognized only in the Rehai geothermal field, suggesting that there seems to be a still-degassing magmatic intrusion at depths, which provides mantle-derived volatiles to the hydrothermal system above. The accumulation of those volatiles has probably played an important role in triggering earthquakes in this region.In addition, the isotopic characteristics of He and C also indicate that the magmatic intrusion seems to have been derived from the MORB source, and could be contaminated by crustal materials during its upwelling through the continental crust.  相似文献

To investigate the control on small-scale variation of He in soil gas exercised by minor fracturing, shallow surveys have been carried out over a cave system formed along an approximately orthogonal set of fractures in Devonian limestone in southwest England. The possibilities that He variation could be related to deep-seated, major fractures or hidden mineralisation, and that other soil gases may also be affected by minor fracturing were assessed by contemporary surveys for CO2 and O2. Comparisons of soil gas values with variations in electrical apparent resistivity were also carried out. Location of fractures with direct connection to the cave system was determined by spiking the cave atmosphere with He and then resurveying after equilibration.The results for CO2 and O2 show anomalies of low magnitude (with respect to atmospheric concentrations), and although they display an antithetic relationship, this is generally poor. There is also no strong correlation with the results of the He surveys either before or after spiking, or with the apparent resistivity values. Moreover, anomalies in CO2 + O2 do not support the pattern of variation shown by the individual gases. These negative results suggest the absence of deep-seated fractures or hidden mineralisation, and show that CO2 and O2 values are independent of minor fracturing. The origin of the variation is attributed to bacteriological productivity.He soil gas concentrations were obtained as disequilibrium values relative to Field Atmospheric Air (ΔHe/ppb-FAA). Positive ΔHe values were generally found to correlate with areas of thin, dry soil cover, enhancement occurring along fracture lines. Negative ΔHe values were also found to correlate with fracture lines, but in these areas the fractures are overlain by a thick soil cover with a high moisture content. It is considered that distinctions can be drawn between water-conducting and dry fractures, and that negative ΔHe values are likely only to be encountered with shallow soil gas samples. Results of spiking with He show a clear distribution of enhanced values along the set of orthogonal fractures, irrespective of the sign of the natural He anomaly. It is considered, therefore, that major deep-seated fractures may result in positive He anomalies superimposed upon negative ΔHe values. This implies that He anomalies must always be related to a local datum value. It is concluded that resolution of interacting variables in the interpretation of soil gas data is facilitated by integrated soil gas surveys.  相似文献

In March 1994, soil gases were sampled in the area of Vulcano Porto, on the island of Vulcano, using a grid of about 200 points/km2. Analysed gases were CO2, He and222Rn and, over a smaller area, H2S. Some of the samples were also analysed for the isotope composition of CO2C. Three anomalous CO2 degassing areas were identified: Grotta dei Palizzi, the area near the Telephone Exchange, and the area near the beach fumaroles. The behaviour of He and222Rn is different in these 3 areas. The concentration of He is much lower than that of atmospheric He (down to −3950 ppb) in the isthmus, and only in the area near Grotta dei Palizzi does it have values significantly higher than atmospheric ones (up to 1900 ppb). The activity of222Rn, always significantly positively related to CO2 concentrations, peaked in the 2 fumarole areas (isthmus, Telephone Exchange).  相似文献

A geochemical survey, in shallow aquifers and soils, has been carried out to evaluate the feasibility of natural gas (CH4) storage in a deep saline aquifer at Rivara (MO), Northern Italy. This paper discusses the areal distribution of CO2 and CH4 fluxes and CO2, CH4, Rn, He, H2 concentrations both in soils and shallow aquifers above the proposed storage reservoir. The distribution of pathfinder elements such as 222Rn, He and H2 has been studied in order to identify potential faults and/or fractures related to preferential migration pathways and the possible interactions between the reservoir and surface. A geochemical and isotopic characterization of the ground waters circulating in the first 200 m has allowed to investigation of (i) the origin of the circulating fluids, (ii) the gas–water–rock interaction processes, (iii) the amount of dissolved gases and/or their saturation status. In the first 200 m, the presence of CH4-rich reducing waters are probably related to organic matter (peat) bearing strata which generate shallow-derived CH4, as elsewhere in the Po Plain. On the basis of isotopic analysis, no hints of thermogenic CH4 gas leakage from a deeper reservoir have been shown. The δ13C(CO2) both in ground waters and free gases suggests a prevalent shallow origin of CO2 (i.e. organic and/or soil-derived). The acquisition of pre-injection data is strategic for the natural gas storage development project and as a baseline for future monitoring during the gas injection/withdrawing period. Such a geochemical approach is considered as a methodological reference model for future CO2/CH4 storage projects.  相似文献

Stable isotope ratios of oxygen and carbon were determined for CO2 in soil gas in the vicinity of the massive sulfide deposit at Crandon, Wisconsin with the objective of determining the source of anomalously high CO2 concentrations detected previously by McCarthy et al. (1986). Values of δ13C in soil gas CO2 from depths between 0.5 and 1.0 m were found to range from −12.68‰ to −20.03‰ (PDB). Organic carbon from the uppermost meter of soil has δ13C between −24.1 and −25.8‰ (PDB), indicating derivation from plant species with the C3 (Calvin) type of photosynthetic pathway. Microbial decomposition of the organic carbon and root respiration from C3 and C4 (Hatch-Slack) plants, together with atmospheric CO2 are the likely sources of carbon in soil gas CO2. Values of δ18O in soil-gas CO2 range from 32 to 38‰ (SMOW). These δ18O values are intermediate between that calculated for CO2 gas in isotopic equilibrium with local groundwaters and that for atmospheric CO2. The δ18O data indicate that atmospheric CO2 has been incorporated by mixing or diffusion. Any CO2 generated by microbial oxidation of organic matter has equilibrated its oxygen isotopes with the local groundwaters.The isotopic composition of soil-gas CO2 taken from directly above the massive sulfide deposit was not distinguishable from that of background samples taken 1 to 2 km away. No enrichment of the δ13C value of soil-gas CO2 was observed, contrary to what would be expected if the anomalous CO2 were derived from the dissolution of Proterozoic marine limestone country rock or of Paleozoic limestone clasts in glacial till. Therefore, it is inferred that root respiration and decay of C3 plant material were responsible for most CO2 generation both in the vicinity of the massive sulfide and in the “background” area, on the occasion of our sampling. Interpretation of our data is complicated by the effects of rainfall, which significantly reduced the magnitude of the CO2 anomaly. Therefore, we cannot rule out the possible mechanism of carbonate dissolution driven by pyrite oxidation, as proposed by Lovell et al. (1983) and McCarthy et al. (1986). Further work is needed on seasonal and daily variations of CO2 concentrations and stable isotope ratios in various hydrogeologic and ecologic settings so that more effective sampling strategies can be developed for mineral exploration using soil gases.  相似文献

岩房湾铅锌矿位于陕西省太白县境内。文章通过矿床的成矿流体及地球化学特征研究,对比同属于风太矿田的八方山—二里河、铅硐山、银母寺等大型铅锌矿,认为岩房湾铅锌矿床成矿流体为中-低盐度、中-低温、含有CO2,N2,CH4等气体的还原性流体体系,并显示出热卤水成因特点。流体包裹体主要包括水溶液包裹体、CO2-H2O-NaCl包裹体、纯CO2包裹体3种类型,为不混溶包裹体群,均一温度高于八方山—二里河等铅锌矿,可能与西坝岩体的侵入有关。氢、氧同位素特征显示成矿流体为岩浆水与变质水的混合,碳、氧同位素特征显示成矿过程中碳质来源于泥盆纪正常海相碳酸盐岩,铅同位素特征显示出造山带与上地壳混合来源的特点。岩房湾铅锌矿成矿流体和同位素特征与同区大型SEDEX型铅锌矿存在着一些差异,不宜笼统将其与同区热水沉积成因大型铅锌矿床归为同一类型。  相似文献

Chemical and isotopic compositions are reported for water, and CO2 and noble gases in groundwater and soda springs from Bioko, Principé, São Tomé and Annobon, all islands located in the off-shore part of the Cameroon Volcanic Line in West Africa. The soda spring waters are of Ca–Mg–HCO3 type, with δD and δ18O values that range from −20 to −8‰ and −5.4 to −2.7‰ respectively, indicative of a meteoric origin. CO2 is the main gas species in the springs. δ13C–CO2 values vary from −2.8 to −5.0‰, overlapping the observed mantle C range (−3 to −8‰). CO2/3He ratios (3–9×109) suggest that most C (∼90%) in the samples is derived from the mantle. Neon has atmospheric isotopic compositions, while Ar is slightly enriched in radiogenic 40Ar. 3He/4He ratios (3.0 to 10.1×10−6 or 2.1 to 7.2Ra, where Ra is the atmospheric ratio of 1.4×10−6) are much higher than those for typical crustal fluids (∼10−8) but lower than those expected for fluids derived from ‘high-3He/4He’ hotspots like Loihi and Iceland. This precludes significant contributions of such fluids in the source regions of the gases, and by inference, in the magmatism of these oceanic islands. Alternatively, approximately 90% of the He in São Tomé gases is inferred to be derived from a source similar to the MORB source. The 3He/4He ratio for the Bioko gas (6.6×10−6) may be derived from a source with a higher time integrated (U+Th)/3He ratio than the MORB source.  相似文献

为了判断甘肃省嘉峪关断层监测点气氡浓度2015年6月以来的高值异常变化是否反映了嘉峪关断层活动的增强,本文基于土壤气跨断层分布规律,应用跨断层测量方法,通过多组分相关性分析及理论建模,综合分析了嘉峪关断层监测点气氡浓度高值异常变化与断层活动的关系。结果显示:监测点断层气中氡浓度快速增加期间,CO2、CH4和H2的浓度没有增加,气氡与CO2、CH4浓度的变化不具正相关关系,表明监测点增加的氡气来源深部较浅,不代表断层活动的增强。监测点两侧跨断层测量结果表明,地表环境未改变一侧的氡气浓度符合断层气分布规律,地表环境发生改变一侧的氡气浓度不符合断层气分布规律,并且地表环境的改变时间与监测点气氡浓度异常变化时间同步。因此监测点气氡浓度的高值异常是由地表环境的改变引起的,嘉峪关断层的活动并没有增强。该方法为用断裂带土壤气体测量方法研究断层活动性的可靠性提供了思路。  相似文献

Chemical and C–He isotopic compositions have been measured for N2-rich hydrothermal gases from the Liaodong (abbreviation of East Liaoning Province) Peninsula from which the oldest crustal rocks in China with ⩾3.8 Ga outcrop. With the exception of one sample containing tritogenic 3He and atmospheric 4He in Liaoyang, the observed 3He/4He ratios from 0.1 Ra to 0.7 Ra indicate 1–8% helium from mantle, 92–98% from crust and 0.1–0.8% from atmosphere. Despite the lack of Quaternary volcanism, such 3He/4He ratios suggest, together with geophysical evidences, the existence of intrusive magmas that contain mantle helium and heat within the Liaodong middle-lower crust. The 3He/4He ratios are high along the NE-trending Jinzhou faults and gradually decrease with the increase of distance from the faults. Such a spatial distribution suggests that the mantle helium exsolves from magmatic reservoir in the middle-lower crust, becomes focused into the root zones of Jinzhou faults, and subsequently traverses the crust via permeable fault zones. When transversely migrated by groundwater circulation in near surface, mantle helium with high 3He/4He ratio may have been further diluted to the observed values by addition of radiogenic helium produced in the crust. This pattern shows strong evidence that the major faults played an important role on mantle-derived components transport from mantle upwards.  相似文献
