It is shown how modern concepts to integrate the elasto‐plastic rate equations of standard plasticity via an implicit algorithm can be generalized to plasticity without an explicitly defined yield surface and to overstress‐type models of viscoplasticity, where the stress point can be located outside the loading surface. This paper proposes a yield and failure criterion for cohesive and frictional materials. The function is given by the combination of a Lode dependence for the behaviour in the deviatoric plane and a meridian function for the pressure‐dependent behaviour. A variety of shapes can be achieved with the proposed criterion including Lode dependences which are able to reproduce the behaviour of isotropic and cross‐anisotropic materials in the deviatoric plane. The criterion is validated through the comparison with experimental data based on multiaxial experimental tests on clays, sands, rocks and concrete. 为了描述天然软土的时间相依以及结构性特征,提出了一种能考虑土体超固结和结构性的实用弹黏塑性本构模型。它以Asaoka和Hashiguchi的上下负荷面作为某一应变速率下的参考屈服面,按照相对过应力的基本思路,新引入了两个能通过不同应变速率三轴压缩试验测定的率敏性参数 和 ,建立了以当前应力、黏塑性应变以及黏塑性应变速率为状态变量的动屈服准则函数,并给出了基于Newton-Raphson迭代的应力积分算法,且成功地将其嵌入到大型有限元软件ABAQUS中。最终通过数值算例来验证模型的正确性以及应力积分算法的可靠性。结果表明:该模型能同时描述土体的率敏性、蠕变以及结构性特征,模型参数物理意义明确、易懂可测,预测结果与试验数据吻合良好,可用于复杂边值问题的有限元计算。  相似文献

Proxy reconstructions of climatic parameters developed using transfer functions are central to the testing of many palaeoclimatic hypotheses on Holocene timescales. However, recent work shows that the mathematical models underpinning many existing transfer functions are susceptible to spatial autocorrelation, clustered training set design and the uneven sampling of environmental gradients. This may result in over‐optimistic performance statistics or, in extreme cases, a lack of predictive power. A new testate amoeba‐based transfer function is presented that fully incorporates the new recommended statistical tests to address these issues. Leave‐one‐out cross‐validation, the most commonly applied method in recent studies to assess model performance, produced over‐optimistic performance statistics for all models tested. However, the preferred model, developed using weighted averaging with tolerance downweighting, retained a predictive capacity equivalent to other published models even when less optimistic performance statistics were chosen. Application of the new statistical tests in the development of transfer functions provides a more thorough assessment of performance and greater confidence in reconstructions based on them. Only when the wider research community have sufficient confidence in transfer function‐based proxy reconstructions will they be commonly used in data comparison and palaeoclimate modelling studies of broader scientific relevance. Pollen recovered from core tops of deep‐sea cores from offshore northwestern Western Australia were used to build climatic transfer functions applied to sediment samples from major rivers bordering the ocean in the same region and a deep‐sea core offshore Northwest Cape. Results show for the last 100 000 years, with a gap in the record spanning the 64 000 to 46 000 years interval, that from about 100 000 to 82 000 yr BP, climatic conditions represented by rainfall, temperature and number of humid months, were significantly higher than today's values. For the entire record, the coldest period occurred about 43 000 to 39 000 yr BP but it was wetter than today, whereas the Last Glacial Maximum saw a significant reduction in summer rainfall, interpreted as a result of the absence of monsoonal activity in the region. The Holocene can be divided into two distinct phases: one peaking around 6000 cal. yr BP with highest rainfall and summer temperatures; the second one commencing at 5000 cal. yr BP and showing a progressive decrease in summer rainfall in contrast to an increase in winter rainfall, paralleled by a progressive decrease in temperatures. The effective stress concept for solid‐fluid 2‐phase media was revisited in this work. In particular, the effects of the compressibility of both the pore fluid and the soil particles were studied under 3 different conditions, i.e., undrained, drained, and unjacketed conditions based on a Biot‐type theory for 2‐phase porous media. It was confirmed that Terzaghi effective stress holds at the moment when soil grains are assumed to be incompressible and when the compressibility of the pore fluid is small enough compared to that of the soil skeleton. Then, isotropic compression tests for dry sand under undrained conditions were conducted within the triaxial apparatus in which the changes in the pore air pressure could be measured. The ratio of the increment in the cell pressure to the increment in the pore air pressure, m, corresponds to the inverse of the B value by Bishop and was obtained during the step loading of the cell pressure. In addition, the m values were evaluated by comparing them with theoretically obtained values based on the solid‐fluid 2‐phase mixture theory. The experimental m values were close to the theoretical values, as they were in the range of approximately 40 to 185, depending on the cell pressure. Finally, it was found that the soil material with a highly compressible pore fluid, such as air, must be analyzed with the multi‐phase porous mixture theory. However, Terzaghi effective stress is practically applicable when the compressibilities of both the soil particles and the pore fluid are small enough compared to that of the soil skeleton.  相似文献
