太湖浮游植物中重金属含量的季节变化特征及湖区差异   总被引:4,自引:2,他引:2  
近年来随着社会经济的发展,排入太湖的污水中重金属含量不断增加,为研究太湖浮游植物中重金属的污染状况,分别于2009年春季(4月)、夏季(7月)和冬季(12月)对太湖不同湖区展开调查,通过HCA聚类分析和Pearson相关分析探讨不同湖区浮游植物中重金属含量的季节变化,并与优势藻种进行CCA分析,对浮游植物重金属与各藻种关系进行初步探讨.结果表明:太湖浮游植物中重金属的含量大小为:ZnMnPbCuNiCrAsCdHg,其中Zn、Cu、Mn、Pb、Ni的季节变化明显,Zn和Cu、Pb、Ni、Cr之间的相关系数很高且具有同源性.通过对比不同湖区,发现北部梅梁湾的浮游植物重金属含量较高,东太湖和湖心区含量均低于沿岸湖区.CCA分析表明春季重金属与优势藻种呈正相关,而夏季和冬季二者呈负相关.三季中重金属与蓝藻和绿藻的相关性最高,与隐藻的相关性最低.蓝藻中,重金属与铜绿微囊藻的相关性高于水华微囊藻.  相似文献

重金属是一类具有潜在危害的重要污染物,越来越多的重金属被排入水体,对水生生态环境构成严重威胁.藻类在长期响应重金属胁迫过程中,建立起一系列的适应机制.藻类通过控制重金属的吸收、富集、转运与解毒,使不同细胞组分中的重金属维持在正常浓度范围内.这些保护机制主要包括藻细胞的某些胞外组分与重金属结合,从而减少重金属进入胞内;在重金属诱导下藻细胞可合成金属结合蛋白或多肽;重金属诱导藻细胞合成一些代谢物使其免受伤害或修复由重金属胁迫造成的损伤;藻细胞通过液泡区室化作用使重金属远离代谢;藻细胞对重金属具有排斥与排出作用.  相似文献

Concentrations of heavy metals (Cu, Ni, Cd, Pb, Cr, and Zn) in bottom sediments, water, snow, and biota of the Uvod Reservoir, as well as of rare-earth elements (Ce, Dy, Er, Eu, Gd, Ho, La, Lu, Nd, Pr, Sm, Tb, Y, and Yb) in its water are assessed. Geochemical studies of concentrations of Cu, Ni, Cd, Pb, Cr, and Zn in soils, water, and snow allow us to state that the metals enter the reservoir mostly from natural sources; however, some part of them are of anthropogenic origin. The sum of concentrations of light rare-earth elements (La, Ce, and Nd) make almost the total of all rare-earth elements in the reservoir—from 70 to 97%, depending on the sampling site. The highest concentrations of metals (and the highest percentage of their labile forms) are recorded in the Priplotinnyi and Kolbaskinskii (in macrophite deposits) pools and at the site of water inflow from the Volga-Uvod canal. There is also reason to suppose a secondary entry of the elements under study into the water mass. The largest variations in metals’ concentrations are observed during the periods of spring and autumn floods, when a great quantity of terrigenous suspended matter enters the water body. The distribution of the above metals and rare-earth elements in water is uneven; their highest concentrations are observed in the site of water inflow from the canal and in the Uvod River (the latter is likely to be due to the effect of the settlement of Pistsovo). The analysis of biota (fennel-leaved pondweed and zooplankton) has shown that the Uvod Reservoir is polluted with heavy metals.  相似文献

Particulate heavy metals (Cu, Pb, Cd) were measured following intensive sampling in June and October 1994 at 70 stations in the Changjiang Estuary and Hangzhou Bay, China. In the study area, particulate Cu and Pb have a similar level that is higher than the concentration of particulate Cd. Cu, Pb and Cd concentrations in suspended sediments are higher than those in bed load. In the middle of Hangzhou Bay, heavy metal concentrations in suspended sediments and bed load are similar. This may be the result of the frequent exchange between them, which is due to the strong dynamic condition. A negative relationship was observed between concentrations of heavy metals in bed load and bulk density. Fine-grained sediments were the main carriers of heavy metals. Sedimentary dynamics dominate the fate of heavy metals in these sites. The distributions of metals (especially Cu) in suspended sediments can indicate the transfer of sediments in this area.  相似文献

The purpose of this study was to assess the chemical partitioning of selected heavy metals(Fe,Mn,Cu,Zn,Pb,Cr,Co and Ni) in 10 surface sediments at Tirumalairajan River Estuary in the southeastern coast of India.A five-step sequential extraction technique was used to assess the environmental status of heavy metals.Most of metals were considered to be immobile due to the high availability in the residual fraction of heavy metals.The sediments of Tirumalairajan River estuary had not been polluted by heavy metals,and they didn’t pose any high ecological risk.The seasonal variations of heavy metals were slightly higher in summer than in monsoon season.Factor analysis was also carned out to understand the associations of metals in different fractions with sand,silt,clay,organic matter,pH,salinity and other metals.The relationship between the Q-mode and R-mode cluster analyses was useful for identifying the pollution levels in both seasons.It was proved that the enrichment of heavy metals was related with geogenic and anthropogenic sources.The information on total metal concentrations in sediments was not sufficient for assessing the metal behavior in the environment,but the sequential extraction technique was more effective in estimating the environmental impact of contaminated sediments.  相似文献

湖泊沉积物的重金属污染防治一直是环境领域的热点问题.本研究采用氨基生物炭作为覆盖材料,利用梯度扩散薄膜技术(DGT),研究了上覆水不同pH及水流扰动条件下Cu(Ⅱ)、Pb(Ⅱ)在沉积物水界面间的原位释放特征,以及氨基生物炭对湖泊沉积物重金属污染的原位修复效果.研究结果表明,在0 r/min或100 r/min水动力条件下,可移动态重金属离子有不断由沉积物向其他介质扩散的趋势,1.81 kg/m 2的氨基生物炭覆盖强度可降低Cu(Ⅱ)、Pb(Ⅱ)释放通量达89%以上,有效减小了水环境中重金属的潜在生态风险.在pH=5的酸性及pH=9的碱性水环境中原位修复效果较差,水体中大量的H+或络合物均会削弱氨基生物炭对重金属离子的吸附,当上覆水在pH=7的中性条件时原位修复效果最佳.100 r/min水流扰动下的上覆水Cu(Ⅱ)、Pb(Ⅱ)含量在释放平衡时较0 r/min条件下高出0.036~0.096μg/mL,说明高强度的水流扰动易造成覆盖材料的扬起和浮动,导致覆盖材料与重金属发生解吸.  相似文献

江苏省五大湖泊水体重金属的监测与比较分析   总被引:4,自引:2,他引:2  
2001—2011年(不含2004年)10年间对江苏省五大湖泊(太湖、滆湖、洪泽湖、高宝邵伯湖和骆马湖)的水体重金属浓度进行长期定点监测,按系统分组资料进行方差分析,以比较各重金属浓度在湖泊间的差异显著性,并在此基础上应用多指标综合评价法(TOPSIS法)对5个湖泊水体重金属进行综合比较.结果表明:除铜浓度外,5个湖泊间铅、镉、汞和砷4个指标浓度均存在极显著差异;5种重金属浓度湖泊内站位间均差异不显著;铅、镉和汞浓度站位内年份间差异显著或极显著.TOPSIS分析结果表明,总体而言高宝邵伯湖水体重金属污染程度最小,骆马湖水体重金属污染程度最大,洪泽湖、太湖和滆湖水体重金属污染综合评价优劣相当.  相似文献

Dredging operations produce considerable quantities of materials, to be managed and this opens an opportunity for valorization in civil engineering. However, the contamination of the dredged sediments has become a major problem to solve. The major contaminants are heavy metals and organic compounds. This study focuses on the use of phosphoric acid (H3PO4) to stabilize heavy metals from sediments and destroy organic matter by calcination at 650 °C with a goal of using sediments in roadworks. Several studies have been conducted in this eld. The stabilized materials obtained have been used in civil engineering. The main purpose of this work is to discuss the environmental behavior of marine sediment treated by phosphatation and calcination. Two types of phosphoric acids were used. The pH dependence leaching test has been used as the basic characterization to evaluate the effect of the type of phosphoric acid on the metals behavior in a valorization scenario. The standard leaching test and the Toxicity Characteristic Leaching Procedure (TCLP) were conducted as compliance tests. In regards of the obtained results, the environmental assessment has also shown a reduction in the availability of targeted heavy metals in alkaline environment whatever the type of acid used for treatment. Suspended sediment adsorbs pollutants from flowing water in rivers and deposits onto the bed. However, the pollutants accumulated in the river bed sediment may affect the bio-community through food chain for a long period of time. To study the problem the concentration of heavy metals (Cr, Cd, Hg, Cu, Fe, Zn, Pb and As) in water, sediment, and fish/invertebrate were investigated in the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River during 2006-2007. The concentrations of heavy metals were 100-10,000 times higher in the sediment than in the water. Benthic invertebrates had relatively high concentrations of heavy metals in their tissues due to their proximity to contaminated sediments. Benthic invertivore fish had moderately high concentrations of heavy metals whereas phytoplanktivore fish, such as the silver carp, accumulated the lowest concentration of heavy metals. The concentrations of Cu, Zn, and Fe were higher than Hg, Pb, Cd, Cr, and As in the tissue samples. The concentration of heavy metals was lower in the river sediments than in the lake sediments. Conversely, the concentration of heavy metals was higher in river water than in lake water. While a pollution event into a water body is often transitory, the effects of the pollutants may be long-lived due to their tendency to be absorbed in the sediments and then released into the food chain. The heavy metals were concentrated in the following order: bottom material 〉 demersal fish and benthic fauna 〉 middle-lower layer fish 〉 upper-middle layer fish 〉 water.  相似文献

以巢湖蓝藻水华聚集地西半湖表层沉积物与蓝藻为对象,研究了表层沉积物重金属(Cd、Cr、Cu、Zn、Pb、Ni和Mn)总量的分布特征.同时,利用BCR连续提取法对沉积物中重金属Cd和Mn的形态进行分析,模拟探究蓝藻腐殖化过程中重金属含量的变化,探讨了蓝藻腐殖化对重金属吸附-释放的影响.结果表明,各采样点表层沉积物重金属含量均不同程度超出背景值,且距离南淝河越近越突出.潜在迁移指数表明整个西半湖沉积物中重金属Cd比Mn更易形成二次污染.相关性分析显示重金属Cd和Mn各形态含量和总量之间均表现出极显著正相关.巢湖西半湖属于典型的藻型湖,Cd和Mn的来源和分布均与蓝藻聚集密切相关,结合实验室模拟蓝藻腐殖化过程对重金属的吸附-释放规律,认为蓝藻腐殖化过程会对Cd和Mn的迁移释放产生影响.  相似文献

Analyses of fish tissues are routinely carried out by a number of laboratories to monitor the levels of contamination of the marine environment and food by toxic elements, e.g. by heavy metals. To improve and control the quality of such determinations, the Community Bureau of Reference (BCR) has organized a certification campaign which enabled us to produce a reference material (cod muscle CRM 422) certified for its contents of As, Cd, Cu, Fe, Hg, I, Mn, Pb, Se, and Zn. This material was collected in the southern part of the North Sea, carefully prepared (filleted and crushed under liquid nitrogen) and its homogeneity and long term stability were verified. For a wide variety of substances aquatic systems are the medium of origin, or sinks in a longer or shorter lasting stay or even in geological periods. For surface sediments of Berlin waters and their surroundings this paper describes the enrichment and distribution of heavy metals (SM), which have a high priority under international aspects and a marked capability to geoaccumulation. From the 25 metals investigated Hg, Pb, Cu, Cd and Zn are of anthropogenic origin, all others are of geochemical provenience and correspond to background values. Some metals (Hg, Cd, Ni, Co, Cu, Cr and Pb) have specific concentration profiles with increasing depth of water and sediment. The study of correlation of SM in sediments demonstrates generally a strong relation to macroelements and between some metals themselves.  相似文献

The ecological risk assessment for Al,Zn,Cu,Ni,V,Pb,Cd,and Hg in surface sediment collected from the Egyptian Red Sea coast was evaluated using the Geo-accumulation Index(I_(geo)).Sediment Enrichment Factor(SEF) and Potential Ecological Risk Index(PERI) methods.The predominant heavy metal,aluminum,showed high concentrations along both of Aqaba Gulf(4378.8 ± 2554.1 μg/g) and southern part of the Red Sea(2972.8 + 1527.5 μg/g).while it recorded the lowest concentration in Suez Gulf(829.7 ± 398.2 μg/g).The determined heavy metal concentrations had the order of Al Zn -Ni V Pb Cu Cd Hg.The statistical analyses showed some correlations among the heavy metals contents.Several international sediment quality guidelines were used to estimate the quality of the collected sediments.Interestingly,the recorded average heavy metals concentrations were lower than those of the permissible contents for sediment quality guidelines.The Geo-accumulation index calculations(I_(geo)) proved that the investigated region could be classified as an unpolluted area.Sediment Enrichment Factor(K_(SEF)) study showed high values in Suez Gulf region.The single pollution index analysis of heavy metals in the sediments(C~i_f) indicated that Al,Zn,V,and Pb were of natural origin,while Ni,Cd and Hg were seriously affected by human activities.Interestingly,amongst,all the determined heavy metals,Cd and Hg gave moderate ecological risk indicators.  相似文献

通过对白洋淀沉水植物及对应沉积物和水中Cd、Pb、As含量测定,以期揭示白洋淀沉积物-沉水植物-水系统中重金属污染状况及分布规律,明确不同沉水植物对重金属的富集能力.结果表明,地表水Cd、Pb、As浓度均符合我国地表水I类水质标准,不同采样区重金属浓度差异不显著.上覆水Pb浓度显著高于地表水和间隙水,间隙水As浓度显著高于地表水和上覆水;地积累指数法和潜在生态危害指数法评价结果表明,沉积物中重金属污染程度表现为Cd > Pb > As,Cd污染最严重,达到"轻度-偏重度"污染程度,"中等-极强"生态危害级别,As为清洁水平,不同采样区重金属污染程度表现为生活水产养殖区 > 纳污区 > 淀边缘区;沉水植物重金属富集能力表现为金鱼藻(Ceratophyllum demersum L.) > 菹草(Potamogeton crispus L.)和穗状狐尾藻(Myriophyllum spicatum L.) > 篦齿眼子菜(Potamogeton pectinatus L.).植物体内重金属含量与体内氮、磷含量呈显著正相关,氮、磷营养盐影响沉水植物对重金属的富集.  相似文献

The artificial reservoir Lagoa da Pampulha in central Brazil has been increasingly affected by sediment deposition and pollution from urban and industrial sources. This study investigates water chemistry and heavy metal concentrations and their fractionation in the lake sediment using ICP-OES, ICP-MS, and XRD analyses. Fractionation analysis was done by sequential extraction under inert gas as well as after oxidation. The lake exhibits a permanent stratification with an oxygen-free hypolimnion below 2 m depth. Nutrient concentrations are enriched for phosphorous components (SRP, PO4). In the sediment it was not possible to detect oxygen. Carbon, sulfur, and most of the analyzed heavy metals are enriched in the top sediment layer with a pronounced downward decrease, indicating the presence of an anthropogenic influence. Statistical analysis, including correlations and a Principal Component Analysis (PCA) of depth-related total concentration data, helps to distinguish presumably anthropogenic heavy metals from geogenic components. Some samples with high element concentrations in the sediment also show elevated concentrations in their pore water. Analyses of element distribution between sediment and pore water suggest a strong bonding of heavy metals to the anoxic sediment. The trend towards elevated solubility in the pore water of oxidized samples is clear for most of the analyzed elements. Fractionation analysis reveals characteristic associations of selected elements to specific mineral bonding forms. In addition, it indicates that the behavior of heavy metals in the sediment is strongly influenced by organic substances. These substances provide buffering against oxidation, acidification, and metal release. The high nutrient loading causes reducing conditions in the lake sediment. These conditions trigger the accumulation of sediments rich in S2−, which stabilizes the fixation of heavy elements. In the future, care must be taken to reduce the supply of contaminants and to prevent the release of heavy metals from sediments dredged for remediation purposes.  相似文献

Recently in the Sultanate of Oman, there has been a rapid surge of coastal developments. These developments cause metal contamination, which may affect the habitats and communities at and near the coastal region. As a result, a study was conducted to assess the level of metal contamination and its impact on the marine sediments in the vicinity of the Single Buoy Moorings 3 (SBM3) at Mina Al Fahal in the Sultanate of Oman. Marine subtidal sediment samples were collected from six different stations of the SBM3 for the period ranging from June 2009 to April 2010. These samples were then analyzed for their level and distribution of the heavy metals of cadmium (Cd), copper (Cu), lead (Pb) and vanadium (V). Overall, low concentrations of all four heavy metals were measured from the marine sediments, indicating that the marine at SBM3 is of good quality.  相似文献

A preparative method was developed to sample dissolved organic carbon (DOC) and heavy metals (Ni, Mn) from polluted surface waters. Main focus was set on the preparative production of freeze‐dried samples mainly composed of organic ligands from heavy metal complexes. First characterizations were done in the aqueous phase. Finally, freeze‐dried samples provide stable organic matter for multiple characterizations. Acid mine drainage of the former mining area of Ronneburg (Germany) hold elevated concentrations of heavy metals and low concentrations of DOC. Municipal wastewater, passing the spoil pile, held elevated concentrations of DOC and low concentrations of heavy metals. Dissolved components smaller than 0.45 μm and larger than 1 nm were concentrated by nanofiltration. Organic heavy metal complexes were isolated from this solution by size‐exclusion chromatography (SEC). Different size classes of molecules were collected from the column effluent, depending on their elution time, and were characterized by UV spectroscopy, ICP‐OES, and DOC measurements. All samples held organic heavy metal compounds with different retention times. The organic heavy metal complexes in acid mine drainage had higher retention times than complexes from municipal wastewater. Most interestingly, we found different affinities of heavy metals to different size classes of DOC. This affinity of the heavy metals differs with size and origin of the DOC.  相似文献

This investigation had the purpose of evaluating the reliability of a sequential extraction procedure according to Zeien and Brümmer (1989) which is performed routinely to analyse the distribution of heavy metals to different soil phases. Reliability was tested by two hypotheses. According to the first hypothesis an error propagation increased during a morefold extraction of heavy metals from a single soil sample to such an extend that it does not allow a statistical comparison of different analyses. This assumption was confirmed in an interlaboratory study of five participants applying the sequential extraction scheme on two different soils. The heavy metal amounts extracted by the different partners were of the same magnitude, but from the results no statistical correspondence at the 95% confidence level could be observed. The second hypothesis stated that also weak extraction agents were able to release metals from the more immobile soil fractions, especially if the amount of easily soluble metals was comparatively small. To answer this question the sequential extraction was modified by carrying out selected weak extraction steps several times. As expected the intensified extraction conditions caused a decrease of the element content within the more resistant phases. However, the additional release in the first four extraction steps of Pb, Mn, Fe, and Zn was only in the range of 5 to 10%. Furthermore, it was observed that a single EDTA extraction (step four within the sequential extraction scheme) was capable to extract the same amount of metals as the first four extraction steps of the original scheme at a variation of about 15%. From these results it was concluded that the EDTA step alone already represents a reliable pool of mobilisable metals. Thus it can be maintained that such a simple single EDTA extraction can be used to assess the environmental risk from heavy metal contaminated soils or to predict the potential heavy metal release of soil remediation processes.  相似文献

Glucose uptake in lake water samples has been determined with short-time14C-experiments at different additions of the single heavy metals Cu++, Zn++, Cd++, Pb++, Hg++ and at different additions of a combination of all metals. The degree of a metal induced inhibition of glucose uptake varied from lake to lake and from season to season, whereby the addition of legally tolerated concentrations of 10 μg Cu/l and 200 μg Zn/l inhibited glucose uptake in most samples significantly, as well as the simultaneous addition of all metals. The legally tolerated limit of 1 μg Hg/l inhibited glucose uptake in Lake Lucerne samples almost completely, showed however no effect in samples of Lake Baldegg. The equimolar toxicity sequence of heavy metals for heterotrophic microorganisms has been determined as: Hg>Cu>Cd>(Zn. Pb). Glucose uptake of plankton sampled from metal polluted limno-corrals was less inhibited than that of the control plankton, when heavy metals were added to the samples singly or in combination. It is assumed that this effect is due to the natural selection of more resistant plankton species.  相似文献
