结合应用ＭＡＰＧＩＳ地理信息系统制作《河南省城市地图集》的实践,分析了ＭＡＰＧＩＳ制图系统的基本原理及方法;总结了数字地图制图技术要点及优势;指出目前应完善ＭＡＰＧＩＳ功能,强化ＭＡＰＧＩＳ智能化水平,以加快ＧＩＳ产业化进程。

划质环境下的ＧＩＳ互操作,已成为ＧＩＳ研究领域中日渐受到重视的问题。异质性是ＧＩＳ互操作的一大障碍。本文探讨了ＧＩＳ互操作中的异质性问题及解决方法。     

应用遥感与GIS技术进行热带林保护区乡村混农林业规划

详细阐述了遥感与地理信息系统（ＧＩＳ）技术在热带林乡村混农林业规划项目中的应用。通过利用遥感和ＧＩＳ技术建立乡村ＧＩＳ专题数据库,结合生物生态学理论、模糊数学及多元统计分析方法建立混农林业规划模型,利用ＧＩＳ软件平台二次开发技术,进行了热带林乡村混农林业规划研究。结果表明,遥感ＧＩＳ技术能有效提高乡村混农林业规划的自动化水平,使规划结果更加科学化、合理化。

本文从ＷＷＷ和电子论坛两个方面介绍了ＧＩＳ网络资源,给出了话多精选的有关ＧＩＳ的网址,希望对了解和获取ＧＩＳ网络资源有着裨益。     

地理信息系统图例库的研究

图例库是地理信息系统（ＧＩＳ）的有机组成部分,开发灵活实用的图例库是研制ＧＩＳ软件的重要内容之一,关系到ＧＩＳ成果图形表达的科学性。借鉴ＩＮＴＥＲＧＲＡＰＨ／ＩＧＤＳ的图例库设计思想,引入“符合集合”及“操作函数”的概念,从图例库的基本内涵、实体内容及主要操作等几方面论述了作者对图例库的研究成果。     

土地沙漠化动态监测的遥感与GIS一体化探讨--以龙羊峡库区为例

以龙羊峡库区为试验区,实现遥感与ＧＩＳ一体化,建立了龙羊峡库区地理信息系统,在此基础上,探讨了高寒干旱与半干旱地区土地沙漠化动态监测有关问题。研究结果表明,自１９８７￣１９９６年库区土地沙漠化日趋严重,十年来严重沙漠化土地扩大了１８９ｋｍ＾２,以每年２１ｋｍ＾２的速度扩展,土地沙漠化正过程处于强烈发展态势,库区土地沙漠化普遍发生。     

云南省GIS事业的回顾与云南省地理研究所3S中心的发展

计算机技术的飞速发展与信息的社会化带动和推动了地理信息系统（ＧＩＳ）的发展。ＧＩＳ的广泛应用表明了ＧＩＳ在社会中需求地位和价值。云南的ＧＩＳ同全国一样走过了起步、建设到发展的过程。云南地理研究所的３Ｓ（ＧＩＳ、ＲＳ、ＧＰＳ）中心在云南ＧＩＳ的事业中占有主要的地位,３Ｓ中心的发展方向会不同程度地影响云南省ＧＩＳ事业的发展方向和进程。在回顾云南ＧＩＳ发展的历程后提出今后３Ｓ中心的发展方向与工作奋斗目标     

基于组件对象模型构建WebGIS技术的研究

在近年来的软件发展中,组件化和网络的进步是其重要的特征之一。软件工业的主要突破点便是软件之间的结合和组件化。本文在研究国内外有关成果的基础上,介绍了组件技术和万维网地理信息系统的结合,针对ＧＩＳ的特殊性,指出了用组件技术构建ＷｅｂＧＩＳ系统可行性、一般步骤和主要任务,着重剖析了在ＷｅｂＧＩＳ系统中组件模型的运行机制。将组件对象模型这一新的技术引入 ＷｅｂＧＩＳ领域,提高 ＷｅｂＧＩＳ技术水平和工作效率,充分发挥ＷｅｂＧＩＳ的效能。     

西双版纳勐养保护区热带林保护GIS研究

西双版纳是生物多样性的荟萃地, 利用 Ｇ Ｉ Ｓ进行保护研究十分重要。研究共分３ 个部分： （１） Ｇ Ｉ Ｓ的建立。（２） Ｇ Ｉ Ｓ的应用。其中包括物种资源保护、环境监测和可持续发展规划。（３） 提高 Ｇ Ｉ Ｓ实用性的探讨。结果认为： 保障数据源质量、数据标准化、控制数据处理和增强数学模型的灵敏度是提高 Ｇ Ｉ Ｓ实用性的重要途径。     

城市空间增长与格局变化的预测

该文综述城市空间增长和空间格局变化的理论，并评述现今利用ＧＩＳ进行城市空间增长和格局变化的现状，分析促进城市空间增长及空间格局变化的动力机制和影响因素，提出用ＧＩＳ进行城市空间增长及格局变化预测

Deserts and Aeolian Desertification in China: Book review and some thoughts

Desertification is a global phenomenon that affects about two billion people. It occurs in arid zones where the annual precipitation is below 400 mm, partic- ularly in the marginal areas of the world＇s largest deserts. It is a result of water and wind erosion, over- grazing, global warm-ing, improper soil cultivation, and increased pressure ot population growth, and it causes degradation of soil and natural and agricultural vegetation. The direct result is less food for people and livestock, which influences pop- ulation and animal husbandry fluctuations. Despite ef- forts to combat and reduce desertification, the affected areas are annually increasing.
