Abstract A copepod nauplius of the family Dirivultidae Humes & Dojiri 1980 is described for the first time. The lecithotrophic nauplius of the widespread symbiotic copepod Stygiopontius pectinatus Humes 1987 was released from females bearing paired egg sacs that included only one yolky embryo each. The ovigerous females of S. pectinatus were washed from the branchial chamber of alvinocaridid shrimps ( Rimicaris exoculata Williams & Rona 1986 ) collected at a deep-sea hydrothermal field on the Mid-Atlantic Ridge at 5° S (Red Lion site, chimney 'Shrimps Farm', depth 3,048 m) by ROV Quest 4000 and maintained in a laboratory on the R/V METEOR (cruise M64/1, 2005). The nauplius of S. pectinatus , appears to be a stage I nauplius because it bears only one pair of caudal setae and the setose bud of maxilla 1 is absent. Like nauplii of other copepods of the order Siphonostomatoida, this nauplius of S. pectinatus possesses a reduced labrum and the body is filled with yolky granules; it also lacks a masticatory process on the antennal coxa. The presence of two inner setae (instead of one seta) on the mandibular endopod is hypothesized to be a primitive character of dirivultids that distinguishes them from the remaining siphonostomatoid genera. The Dirivultidae is a widespread and diverse family of copepods endemic to the deep-sea hydrothermal vents of the Pacific and Atlantic Oceans. Morphological features of the planktonic nauplius of S. pectinatus suggest nutritional independence during their dispersal.  相似文献

The nauplius ofC. yamadai shows the shape of typicalCentropages nauplius, as inC. hamatus andC. abdominalis. The nauplii of genusCentropages are oval in shape; somewhat rounded anteriorly and slightly pointed posteriorly. The rostrum is comparatively large. A nauplius eye is large at the proximal portion of the rostrum. There is a labrum with the minute spines on its posterior border. The antennule of 3 segments is oar-liked in outline as inCalanus, but on the ventral margin of terminal segment there is no seta. The abdominal portion is not divided from the carapace like that ofTemora orCalanus. There is no dorso-ventral flexure. The furcal setae are thick and long, and asymmetrical. An end seta which presents just dorsally against to a median seta, elongates backwards. The nauplius ofC. yamadai can be distinguished from nauplii of other species by the structure of appendages in the respective stages, but this nauplius is easily identified by the coloured body.  相似文献

An undescribed species of Tanaidacea was collected from Yokji Harbor in the southern coast of Korea. Hexapleomera yokjidona n. sp. can be distinguished from other species of the genus by the distinguishing features of a uropod with five articles, a pleopod basal article lacking inner seta, a mandible setal row with two setae, maxilliped coxa with two proximal setae, pereonites 1–3 together longer than wide, and pereopods 2–3 propodus with three ventral setae. To prove that H. yokjidona is a new species, detailed morphological characteristics of both genders are described and a comprehensive comparison among the species of the genus is tabulated. Additionally, diagnostic characteristics previously used to identify the species of Hexapleomera are reassessed and upgraded.  相似文献

A new species belonging to the genus Haloschizopera Lang, 1944 (Copepoda, Harpacticoida, Miraciidae, Diosaccinae) was identifi ed based on the samples collected from the East China Sea, near the off shore of Zhejiang Province, East China. The new species is closely related to H . pygmaea Norman & Sccot T., 1905 and shares a combination of the following features: A1 eight-segmented;A2 exp-2 with one distal seta, exp-3 with three setae;P1 endopodal segments subequal, enp-1 not exceeding exp-2;exp-3 of P3 with one inner seta, of P4 with two inner setae. The new species is characterized by the presence of one inner seta on P2 exp-3 of both sexes. It can also be distinguished from its congeners by the characters of female: P5 exopod subcircular, endopodal lobe extending beyond half-length of exopod;genital doublesomite ornamented with three dorsolateral rows of spinules on anterior part.  相似文献

Two species of benthopelagic calanoid Copepoda, Neoscolecithrix cf. magna (Grice, 1972) and N. ornata n. sp., are described from the upper slope off North Cape, New Zealand. Neoscolecithrix ornata is distinguished from other species of Neoscolecithrix Canu, 1896 s.s. that have a female leg 5 terminal segment with 4 spines (2 terminal and 1 on each border) principally by the transverse row of long, fine spines on the female genital double somite; and by the more squat terminal segment of leg 5 (length/width ratio about 3.7). This is the second time Neoscolecithrix has been recorded from New Zealand. A new genus, Cenognatha n. gen., is distinguished from Neoscolecithrix principally because: rostrum short (bearing 2 filaments); mandibu‐lar gnathobase masticatory margin with slender dorsal spinulose seta; maxilla endite 1 with 5 well‐developed setae, endite 3 without brush‐like sensory seta, endopod usually with 3 long worm‐like sensory setae and 5 brush‐like setae; posterodistal border of basis of legs 1–3 without spines; distal segment of female leg 5 and its basis subequal in length; male leg 5 of similar lengths on both sides (styliform on right), endopod present at least on 1 side, 1‐segmented and spine‐like on right.  相似文献

浮游介形类是海洋生态系统中极为丰富的一类小型甲壳动物,是海洋浮游动物的重要组成部分。吸海萤科是介形纲吸海萤目下的一大类群,其中,浮萤族已记述21属的生物。本文报道和描述了新近采自南海中部的一个浮萤族新属新种--复合多腺浮萤。该新物种与相关属和种可通过综合相关特征进行区分:位于右不对称腺体上方的侧角腺开口于近后缘;沿其壳腹缘具有一列排列密集的边缘腺;其前器官形状的综合特点与族内其他属物种均不同;第一触角的e刚毛不具有毛或刺;第二触角内肢乳状突表现为一具有腹面中央凹的椭圆隆起,第一外肢具有一根小背前缘刺,第一与第二外肢愈合,第三与第四外肢不具有刚毛或刺;大颚的第一内肢具一根长腹侧刚毛,第二内肢具一根腹侧刚毛;小颚第一内肢具两根基部刚毛;第五肢的第一外肢仅具一根腹侧刚毛;第六肢的第一与第二外肢不具有腹侧刚毛。其壳上主要腺体及开口位置与其他已记录属种的显著区别是该新属的主要特征。  相似文献

采用气相色谱法对秋季黄海颗粒悬浮物和中华哲水蚤的脂肪酸组成及其指示作用进行了研究。结果表明,黄海表层海水中硅藻所占比例要大于甲藻。硅藻在黄海南部浮游植物中所占比重高于黄海北部,甲藻在黄海南北部的差别不大。从脂肪酸组成来看,中华哲水蚤雌体、雄体和桡足幼体都摄食硅藻和甲藻,雌体和雄体摄食的硅藻远多于甲藻,而桡足幼体摄食的甲藻则比雌体和雄体多。雄体和桡足幼体植食性的程度高于雌体,而雌体则可能由于繁殖活动的需要,还摄食了原生动物等其它一些营养丰富的食物。对冷水团内外中华哲水蚤脂肪酸组成研究发现,桡足幼体比雌体积累了更多的脂肪酸以满足度夏过程中的能量需求和后期繁殖的需要。  相似文献

Xantharus Andronov, 1981 is reported, for the first time from New Zealand, from the upper slope (306 m) off the southeastern coast of North Island (41°04.10′S, 176°22.05′E). Xantharus cryeri n. sp. females differ from the three known species by a combination of characters: antennules that extend to the distal border of pedigerous somite 2; ancestral segment XVIII of the antennule with 1 seta; mandible basis with 3 setae; maxilla endite 1 with 5 setae; leg 1 basis with inner distal border lined with small spinules; and leg 5 is squat, with all segments as long as wide and the 2 terminal spine‐like extensions of the terminal segment approximately as long as the articulated, inner, subterminal spine.  相似文献

One new species of free-living marine nematodes Cephalanticoma filicaudata sp. nov. from the Huanghai Sea, China is described and illustrated. Cephalanticoma filicaudata sp. nov. is characterized by well developed cephalic capsule, three teeth at the anterior of oesophagus, excretory pore opens posterior to cervical setae, only two cervical setae per file, body length longer than 5 200 μm, tail long and no ventral-lateral seta between the supplement and the cloacal opening. Larvae of Boccardia knoxi (Rainer) were reared in the laboratory after dissection from brood capsules extracted from the outer shell and perio‐stracum of Cookia sulcata and Haliotis iris collected from Tasman Bay, New Zealand. All the eggs within each brood capsule developed into embryos. The dissected larvae had provisional setae and fed on phytoplankton. Larval development is described through to metamorphosis.  相似文献

三突蛀木水虱 Limnoria tripunctata Menzies (图1)属甲壳纲、等足目、扇肢亚目、蛀木水虱科(Limnoridae),分布于太平洋、大西洋和印度洋,在我国是一种常见的蛀木害虫。 三突蛀木水虱的体型较小,在木材表面凿木穴居,一般不易见到。它是海洋中木船、网樯、码头桩柱、海港护木和养殖池闸门等木质结构物的破坏者之一,能造成巨大的经济损失。 为了有效地防除蛀木水虱,需要对它的生态学和生物学进行详细的研究。本文根据作者1983-1984年在青岛港对三突蛀木水虱自然种群进行为时一周年的随机取样调查分析,和连续几年在实验室培养实验观察的结果,对其繁殖习性探讨、报道如下。  相似文献

本文对中国对虾消化道和中肠腺的发生进行了研究。完整的中肠管形成于N3期,它是由幼虫腹面的内胚层板向背中线上卷合拢而形成。在Z1期消化道完全贯通。至M1期,胃分化为贲门胃和幽门胃两部分,中肠前盲囊和中肠后盲囊也在此期出现,同时胃磨的雏形发生,但完整的胃磨形成于P期。另外,中肠腺始于N4-5期中肠前端突出的两对中肠腺盲囊。第一对中肠腺盲囊于M3期退化消失,而第二对中肠腺盲囊则发育为成体的中肠腺。中肠腺小管由4种不同类型的细胞(胚性细胞、吸收细胞、纤维细胞和泡状细胞)所组成  相似文献

拟哲水蚤是莱州湾桡足类中周年出现的优势种;是上层鱼类幼鱼早期开口饵料的重要贡献者;掌握其种群动态分布特点;有利于了解湾内生物环境状况、次级生产力生产水平。基于2011年5月至20 12年4月采集的浮游生物资料的分析结果显示;莱州湾拟哲水蚤的发育期丰度组成和个体大小均表现了明显的季节变化。调查季节中;4-6月以成体居多;其他季节以桡足幼体CⅢ-CⅤ较多;其中10-11月和3月主要由后期桡足幼体CⅣ和CⅤ期构成。成体中以雌体为主导;雌/雄比介于1.46~9.62;该比值在3-4月最低;10-11月最高。拟哲水蚤各期桡足幼体和成体个体大小以4-5月最大、8月最小;并与水温表现出明显的负相关。拟哲水蚤桡足幼体和成体的总生物量月变化与丰度变化相同;即以8月值最高;3-5月值最低;月均值为2.69 mg/m3(以碳计);日生产力估算值为0.74 mg/(m3·d)(以碳计)。由上述结果;推测莱州湾拟哲水蚤的种群结构周年变化主要可分3个阶段;4-6月是莱州湾拟哲水蚤开始繁殖期;7-8月为种群数量快速增长期;9月之后为种群增长相对停滞期。  相似文献

依据渤海周年的中型浮游动物网样品 ,研究了小型桡足类的优势种小拟哲水蚤(Paracalanusparvus)、强额拟哲水蚤 (Paracalanuscrassirostris)和双刺纺锤水蚤 (Acartiabifilosa)生物量的季节变动、分布和年产量 ,并与渤海大型桡足类的优势种中华哲水蚤 (Calanussinicus)进行了比较。结果表明 ,三种小型桡足类成体的年产量分别为 2 4 .89、1 0 .83和 1 9.5 4mgC/(m3·a) ,中华哲水蚤的年产量为 1 8.30mgC/(m3·a)。小型桡足类主要分布在近岸 ,特别是渤海湾和莱州湾 ,这里正好是许多经济鱼类的产卵场和育幼场 ;而中华哲水蚤主要分布在中央水域。小型桡足类的高峰季节持续时间长 ,从 4月到 1 0月 ,覆盖了几乎所有仔稚鱼大量出现的月份 ;而中华哲水蚤高峰季节持续时间短 ,仅 6月和 7月。另外 ,在粒度上 ,小型桡足类的卵、无节幼体、桡足幼体和成体都比中华哲水蚤等大型桡足类小了一个数量级 (按体积计 ) ,特别适合作为仔稚鱼的饵料。因此认为 ,在近海生态系统中 ,小型桡足类较之大型桡足类起更为重要的作用  相似文献

Life histories for the dominant, larger copepods of the subartic Pacific have been constructed by sampling from weatherships patrolling Ocean Station P (50°N, 145°W) during 1980 and 1981. Neocalanus plumchrus reproduced at depths below 250 m from July through February. Copepodite stages were present in surface layers from October through August with a large peak in numbers and biomass in spring. Fifth copepodites prepared for diapuse in 38 days during spring and descended to depths below 250 m. They commenced immediately to mature, and the females reproduced without renewed feeding. This schedule contrasts with that of the population in the Strait of Georgia, which remains in diapause from July to January and matures exclusively in January and February. There appears to be a difference between the coastal and oceanic habitats in preparing the diapausing individuals for maturation.Maturation of the diapausing stock of N. plumchrus maintained constant adult populations, averaging 714 males m?2 from June through October and 1,434 females m?2 from August through January. This constancy, together with the exponential pattern of decline in the diapause stock from September through February, suggests that density of adults may regulate maturation of fifth copepodites. Offspring of individuals delaying maturation and, thus, reproduction would benefit from the resulting moderation of intraspecific competition, probably that among copepodites.Reproduction of Neocalanus cristatus also occurred below 250 m, and, while spawning was continuous through the year, there was a substantial peak in November. That resulted in a peak of abundance for early copepodite stages in mid-winter, and a peak for the fifth copepodite stage in June. Stocking of the population of fifth copepodites in diapause below 250 m occurred from July through October. Some fifth copepodites were present in surface layers through the entire summer, and some younger copepodites persisted through the summer in progressively declining abundance just below the mixed layer. In autumn 1980 resurgence of early copepodite populations was rapid, occurring during the course of a prolonged October storm. The storm may have improved the habitat either by cooling the mixed layer or by resupplying nutrients to the euphotic zone.Eucalanus bungii reproduced in the mixed layer in early May and in early July. The first event was a spawning by females that had previously spawned in 1979 and then had returned to diapause. The second, heavier spawning (more females, more eggs per female) was by newly matured females from stocks that had overwintered as fifth copepodites. Nauplii peaked sharply in abundance on 19 July, one week after the peak in spawning. First and second copepodites peaked on 1 August, and all had advanced to the third copepodite stage by September. The diapause stock was established by September, principally between 250 and 500 m, and consisted of copepodite stages from third to sixth. Duration of the E. bungii life cycle appears to be typically two years. New nauplii develop as far as the third or fourth copepodite stage during their first summer, then enter diapause. The second summer they advance to the fifth copepodite stage and reenter diapause. Fifth copepodites mature in their third summer at two years of age. The males remain at depth and mate without subsequent feeding. Females migrate at night to the mixed layer where spawning occurs. About 20% of females that had already spawned in 1980 reentered diapause. They would reproduce again in their fourth summer at three years of age. All aspects of the life cycle suggest low mortality rates for copepodite stages, particularly at depth in the habitat occupied during diapuse. There can be no premium on rapid reproduction for E. bungii in the subartic Pacific, and there must even be benefit from spreading reproduction between years. This iteroparity may amount to a “bet-hedging” tactic, the young from a given mother having more than one chance to find sustaining conditions. It also produces gene flow between the year classes of the biennial life cycle.  相似文献

约80%的海洋无脊椎动物在生活史中具浮游幼体阶段,其中甲壳动物的幼体最为多样化。十足类甲売动物具典型的浮游幼体阶段,而后是由浮游到底栖这一生活习性转变的关键一一定居过程(settlement)。十足类幼体阶段持续的时间在不同的类群相差很大,影响其定居的因子也多种多样。 有关海洋无脊椎动物浮游幼体阶段存在机制的研究已进行了约半个世纪,这种普遍存在的浮游幼体被认为:(1)有利于种的分布与扩散;(2)由于浮游幼体采取多变的生活方式而避免了许多底栖捕食者;(3)增加种群间的基因交换,保持其遗传变异性和适应性;(4)浮游幼体以浮游生物为饵,减轻了卵子所需携带的卵黄量,从而增加了产卵量。浮游幼体也有其不利的一面,如幼体在漂移过程中的高死亡率等。然而浮游幼体阶段在海洋底栖无脊椎动物中的普遍存在,从进化角度讲,对种群发展利大于弊,是物种演化过程中一种选择性的折衷。 十足类幼体定居过程的研究多集中在龙虾和蟹类上。有关对虾类的研究很少见,仅有 Haghes (1966), Staples 等(1985), Coles 等(1987)和 Loneragan 等(1994)报道过对虾仔虾和稚虾的分布与栖息地海草分布的相关性。 由于甲壳动物栖息地的多样性,其幼体定居过程的研究对了解甲壳动物种群和群落动态具有十分重要的意义。影响定居过程的因子通常被分为三类,即生物因子、物理因子和化学因子。鉴于三者之间的密切相关性,本文将对其进行综合分析,并讨论有关幼体定居过程的两种假说:栖息地选择(habitat selection)学说和被动沉降(passive deposition)学说。  相似文献

We investigated the feeding habits of Calanus sinicus during its four developmental stages as copepodite 4 (CIV), copepodite 5 (CV), adult males and females in early June 2015 at 12 sampling stations along the southern coast of Korea to the northern East China Sea, to better understand the role of C. sinicus in controlling phytoplankton stocks. Ingestion rate, daily ration as body carbon, population ingestion rate, and grazing impact were estimated using the gut pigment method. The mean biomass of CVs was the greatest (13.5 mg C m–3) and that of adult males was the lowest (0.7 mg C m–3). The ingestion rate per C. sinicus individual tended to increase with developmental stage, with the highest rate in adult females (519 ng chl ind–1 d–1) and the lowest rate in CIVs (305 ng chl ind–1 d–1). A significant correlation was found between ingestion rate and temperature, but not salinity or chlorophyll-a concentration. The daily ration of C. sinicus as body carbon significantly decreased with increased body weight, with the highest value found in CIVs (66.4%) and the lowest value in adult males (30%). Despite the high ingestion rate of the adults, the mean grazing impact of C. sinicus on phytoplankton biomass, in terms of chlorophyll-a concentration, was the highest in CVs (2.6%), followed by CIVs and adult females, and was the lowest in adult males (0.1%). The higher grazing impact of copepodites than adults underscores the importance of evaluating copepodite stages in the feeding studies of marine food webs.  相似文献

采用聚丙烯酰胺梯度凝胶电泳技术,对凡纳对虾(Penaeus vannamei)个体发育早期6个时期的11种同工酶系统(EST、ALP、ACP、GDH、MDH、LDH、AAT、ME、LAP、ADH、AMY)进行研究。结果表明,凡纳对虾在幼体发育阶段已基本具备分解代谢蛋白质、脂类、碳水化合物的酶系。在早期发育过程中,EST同工酶系最为复杂,显示5-15条谱带,至少由6个位点编码;整个发育早期阶段GDH表达很弱,未见R-AMY及Q_AMY的表达;ALP、GDH、AMY及EST在无节幼体期表达很弱或未见表达;ACP、MDH、ME、ADH及AMY酶谱从糠虾幼体第Ⅲ期开始谱带数明显增加;除LAP、AAT酶谱简单且各期变化差异不大外,其它9种同工酶均随发育进程表现出明显差异。  相似文献
