哈尔滨荒山剖面是东北地区第四纪典型剖面,因缺乏绝对年龄数据,关于其地层划分及时代还有不同认识.对荒山剖面进行了系统的磁性地层学研究,并与AMS14C、OSL等年代学数据相结合,重新厘定了荒山剖面第四纪地层的年代框架.结果表明,荒山剖面记录了Matuyama负极性时晚期至Brunhes正极性时的沉积,B/M界线位于剖面下部46.7 m,剖面起始沉积年龄早于0.90 Ma.根据AMS14C和OSL年龄确定了全新统和上更新统的底界,对第四纪岩石地层单位的分层标志及顶、底年龄进行了分析,确定第四纪各个岩石地层单位的时代分别为:坦途组的年龄为~12 ka BP,顾乡屯组的年龄为12~79 ka BP,哈尔滨组的年龄为79~138 ka BP,上荒山组的年龄为138~580 ka BP,下荒山组的年龄>900 ka BP.据此建立了荒山剖面第四纪地层系统,为区域地层对比提供依据.   相似文献

Paleomagnetism and rock magnetism have been studied for the first time in Campanian-Maastrichtian carbonate deposits (Sengilei, Karsun, and Radishchev Formations) from the Bolshevik and Kommunar quarries near the town of Volsk (Saratov area, Volga region). Characteristic components of normal and reverse polarity were detected in samples demagnetized in the alternating field, and positive results of the reversal test were obtained. The virtual geomagnetic pole wander paths calculated for the Sengilei Formation and lower Karsun Formation rocks showed statistical similarity to those for stable Europe of the respective age. The magnetostratigraphic zones revealed in the Bolshevik and Kommunar sections were correlated to chrons 33r, 32n2, 32n1, and 31r of the geomagnetic polarity time scale. The magnetic zones of predominantly reverse and normal polarity detected, though discontinuously, in the low magnetic uppermost Karsun Formation and in the Radishchev Formation correspond to the top of chron 31r and joint chrons 31n and 30n, respectively. Rock magnetic data help identifying deposits rich in cosmogenic metal particles and provide stratigraphic constraints on the Radishchev Formation base.  相似文献

Three to seven oriented paleomagnetic samples were collected from 16 sites in the Nelson Bay and Bridgewater formations at Portland, Victoria, which contains the recently discovered Nelson Bay local fauna (L.F.). The entire section has reversed polarity. These results, along with Globorotalia truncatulinoides within the section, and the presence of underlying middle Pliocene-dated basalts, indicate that the Portland section, and the included Nelson Bay L.F., was deposited within the late Matuyama Chron between 1.66 and 0.73 myr ago. This represents the first well-documented pre-14C Pleistocene mammalian fauna in Australia calibrated in direct stratigraphic context with absolute dating methods. In addition, the reversed polarity for the Bridgewater Formation confirms the previous hypothesis that the depositional history of this beach-sand deposit is time-transgressive across the Brunhes-Matuyama boundary.  相似文献

根据岩石剩磁测试资料所反映的古地磁场极性变化特征,甘肃玉门旱峡剖面原先厘定为下白垩统的新民堡群包括7个正向极性亚时带和7个反向极性亚时带。通过与国际中生代极性年表和深海沉积物极性年表的对比,新民堡群实际上可分为两个地层单位:以第三个反向极性亚时带为界(从下往上数),下部层段属于上侏罗说(厚约460m),上部层段属下白垩统(厚约636m)。剖面玄武岩脉的喷溢时代应早于中新世,晚于旱白垩世,分为两期岩浆活动。  相似文献

The Permian-Triassic effusive traps in the Kotui River valley (Siberian Platform) were studied in detail by a paleomagnetic method, resulting in a summarized magnetic stratigraphic section of the studied sequence. The presence of the reversed polarity zone corresponding to the Khardakh Formation was argued for the section basement. Inside the Kogotok Group, the boundary between the direct and reversed polarity zones occurs in the lower part of the Onkuchak Formation and mismatches the boundary between the formations of the Kogotok Group, as was accepted before. These results contradict the presence of the transition record between the direct and reversed polarity zones in basalts of the lower part of the Onkuhcak Formation. The strong transitional interval between the Ivakinsk Formation and the upper parts of the Nadezhda Formation of the Norilsk section has no analogs in the Kotui section. This means the absence of any significant volcanic activity in the Maimecha-Kotui province during the intense eruptions in the Norilsk region resulting in origination of the greater part of the lower formations of the trap sequence. These data and possible correlations of the traps of the Kotui River valley and Norilsk region indicate that the Norilsk and Maimecha-Kotui sections were temporally overlapped.  相似文献

对北京大兴凸起南部PGZ05孔(孔深255 m)全孔岩心进行了磁性地层、岩石地层、AMS14C测年研究,在系统性的古地磁样品采集(440块岩样)、处理和测试基础上,分析认为255 m的岩心记录了布容正向极性时(Brunhes)、贾拉米洛(Jaramillo)极性亚时、奥尔都维(Olduvai)极性亚时和高斯正极性时(Gauss)。在此磁性年代框架上,结合AMS14C测年及岩性特征,对PGZ05钻孔剖面进行第四纪地层划分,确定下更新统、中更新统、上更新统和全新统的分布深度及年代,将更新统的底界(Q/N)定位于181. 35 m处,亦为一重要岩性(棕红色半固结黏土)界限,中更新统、上更新统、全新统的底界分别定位于75. 60 m、57. 20 m、17. 35 m处。研究成果为大兴凸起南部第四纪地层划分与对比、古地理环境演变及区域地层研究提供了可靠的地层年代学框架,具有重要地质意义。  相似文献

山西省榆社县王宁剖面的古地磁测试结果表明,R红土始自高斯正极性带顶部,向上跨越包括奥杜威极性亚带在内的松山负极性带下半部。这一结果揭示了老R红土的存在,对于确定R红土的层位和沉积年代提供了重要依据。R红土磁化率值的变化与土壤化程度呈正相关性,反映了形成期内气候波动的特征。在它所跨越的1Ma间,R红土记录了9次明显的气候波动。这种由古土壤层和R红土层更迭及磁化率峰谷交替表现出来的气候波动韵律与天文韵律中0.1Ma周期相近。且红土的磁化率各向异性度很小,线理、面理同等发育,粘滞剩磁很强,以及阻挡温度谱等主要磁学性质都与原生黄土系列相近,意味着二者成因的相似性。  相似文献

长江三角洲北翼地区缺少较长尺度的第四纪海陆变迁及环境演变的深入探讨,深达423m的海安县基岩标J9孔为此提供了较好的研究对象。通过观察该孔松散层岩芯,总结其沉积特征,认为岩芯明显可划分为6个特征岩性段。同时,地层古地磁测试结果显示:   0~200m为布容正极性世,200~334m为松山负极性世,334m以下为高斯正极性世。综合分析岩芯沉积特征并参考古地磁测试结果对地层进行了初步划分,认为 0~39m为全新世地层,39~153m为晚更新世地层,153~200m为中更新世地层,200~334m为早更新世地层,之下为新近纪地层。从沉积地层特征推测,在第四纪地层中可能存在有5个海侵层,自上而下为第Ⅰ海侵层(镇江海侵)、第Ⅱ海侵层(滆湖海侵)、第Ⅲ海侵层(昆山海侵)、第Ⅳ海侵层(嘉定海侵)和第Ⅴ海侵层(如皋海侵),分别出现在孔深 5~39m段、59.2~85.1m段、121~153m段、171~200m段和 246.3~277.2m段。孔深39~41m存在的晚更新世晚期特征硬粘土标志层,指示本地不是冰后期古河谷的发育地。  相似文献

第四纪地层年代学格架的建立对区域地层对比及古地理环境演化研究具有重要意义。通过分析河北大厂凹陷北部第四系标准孔S9钻孔岩心沉积物颜色、结构构造、岩性组合特征,应用测井曲线、古地磁、AMS 14C和OSL测年方法,对S9钻孔剖面进行详细地层划分、沉积相分析和地层年代学格架建立。将S9孔揭示的松散沉积物分为4套岩性组合:第1套岩性组合代表洪积扇沉积;第2套岩性组合代表辫状河沉积;第3套岩性组合代表洪积扇沉积;第4套岩性组合代表泛滥平原沉积和河床沉积。通过对古地磁实验结果的分析得出, 0~145.3 m为古地磁极性带的布容正极性时,145.3~212.6 m为古地磁极性带的松山反极性时,212.6~251.8 m为古地磁极性带的高斯正极性时。以磁性地层为主导,以岩性地层特征、14C和OSL测年数据为辅,对S9孔第四纪岩性地层进行初步划分,其第四纪地层的下更新统、中更新统和上更新统的底界对应深度分别为210.9 m、145.4 m和24.05 m。  相似文献

通过对扎陵湖和鄂陵湖沿岸的湖积阶地中湖相沉积的野外地质调查和实测剖面,对分布于盆地内的第四纪早更新世-全新世湖相地层进行了详细的研究和划分、重新厘定了该区第四纪岩石地层单元,确立了生物地层和年代地层序列.建立了青海东南部地区第四纪早更新世-全新世湖相地层单位-黄河源群(QH),黄河源群是由第四系下更新统野生沟组(Qp~1γ)、中更新统鄂陵湖组(Qp~2e)、上更新统大野马岭组(Qp~3d)和全新统黑河乡组(Qhh)等4个组组成.为青藏高原湖泊演化、气候变化、古地理变迁研究,以及第四纪地层的划分与对比等提供了新资料.  相似文献

The Quaternary sediments in the Yangtze delta are loose and lack precise stratification marks in the lithology. Moreover, due to the limitations of dating methods, it is difficult for Quaternary cores to deliver accurate age constraints. Thus, it is a challenge to establish the Quaternary stratigraphic framework. Gravity core LZK1 was drilled on Hengsha Island, Shanghai, in the Yangtze delta, in 2012. The core was terminated at 403.83 m below the local land surface, the uppermost 291.2 m comprising a thick sequence of Quaternary sediments. This study investigated the stratigraphic subdivision and paleoenvironmental change of the Quaternary sediments. From bottom to top, the Quaternary stratigraphic sequence can be subdivided into the lower Pleistocene Anting Formation, Middle Pleistocene Jiading Formation, Upper Pleistocene Chuansha Formation and Nanhui Formation, Holocene Loutang Formation, Shanghai Formation, and Rudong Formation. According to this study, the Hengsha Island area was dominated by a freshwater lacustrine environment during the early Pleistocene, an alternation of shallow lake and shore lake environment during the Middle Pleistocene, a delta plain to lagoonal environment during the early Upper Pleistocene, a fluvial channel to floodplain environment from the LGM (Last Glacial Maximum) to the end of the Upper Pleistocene, and a delta environment during the Holocene.  相似文献

河北平原发育巨厚的冲积、冲洪积沉积物,其岩性、岩相变化明显,仅仅依靠钻孔岩芯的岩性组合、沉积相分析难以建立具有代表性意义的地层层序,测试手段的发展和研究精度的提高,为建立河北平原区广大冲积平原的标准地层提供了可能。文章通过对第四系标准孔G01孔(钻孔深度415.5 m)的岩芯观察,按照沉积物颜色、沉积环境、沉积旋回和沉积构造等特点,将G01孔揭示的松散沉积物分为9大岩性段:第1岩性段主要为灰黑色粘土及灰黑色中砂,代表了河漫滩沉积和河道沉积;第2~5岩性段主要为灰黄-灰绿色粘土-粉砂质粘土-粉砂,发育水平层理和块状层理,局部发育波状层理,代表了河漫滩沉积;第6~9岩性段主要为灰黄-棕红色粘土、粉砂质粘土、粘土质粉砂夹灰黄色粉砂、细砂及砂砾层,代表了边滩、河道沉积和河床滞留沉积。通过对古地磁实验结果的分析得出,0~105.5 m为布容正极性时,105.5~183.7 m为松山反极性时,183.7~415.5 m为高斯正极性时。以磁性地层为主导、岩性地层特征和14C测年数据为辅,对固安G01孔第四纪岩性地层(183.7 m内)进行初步划分,其第四纪地层的下更新统、中更新统、上更新统和全新统的对应深度分别为183.7~105.5 m、105.5~59.2 m、59.20~21.45 m和21.45~0 m。  相似文献

对包头平原第四纪堆积物的年代地层、生物地层、岩石地层和磁性地层的研究表明,该区晚更新世—全新世地层可与我国华北晚更新世—全新世典型地层剖面——萨拉乌苏河滴哨沟湾剖面对比,并可进一步划分出萨拉乌苏组、城川组、大沟湾组和滴哨沟湾组。这一研究不仅重新厘定了包头平原这一时段地层的层序,完成大区域地层对比,同时也为研究包头地区乃至呼包盆地晚更新世—全新世古气候和古地理环境变迁提供了基础资料。  相似文献

四川茂县较场剖面厚101.1m,其中湖相沉积厚98.0m,为一套浅黄色-灰色的粉砂、粘土质粉砂和粉砂质粘土层。古地磁测试显示,除2个样品的磁偏角显示负极性外,其余样品的磁偏角全部为正,属布容正极性时,没有出现B/M界线。根据该套地层的岩性、岩相和所处的地貌部位,可以和云南金沙江谷地的龙街组对比,推测其开始沉积的时代为100~120 kaBP.另外,距顶4.0 m处光释光年龄为16.7±1.2 kaBP,推测其结束于10kaBP.湖相沉积历时约100kaBP,是岷江流域出露的末次(间)冰期以来厚度最大的剖面之一。   相似文献

This study is focused on sedimentary environments, facies distribution, and sequence stratigraphy. The facies and sequence stratigraphic analyses of the Bahram Formation(middleelate Devonian) in southcentral Iran are based on two measured stratigraphic sections in the southern Tabas block. The Bahram Formation overlies red sandstones Padeha Formation in sections Hutk and Sardar and is overlain by Carboniferous carbonate deposits of Hutk Formation paraconformably, with a thickness of 354 and386 m respectively. Mixed siliciclastic and carbonate sediments are present in this succession. The field observations and laboratory studies were used to identify 14 micro/petrofacies, which can be grouped into 5 depositional environments: shore, tidal flat, lagoon, shoal and shallow open marine. A mixed carbonate-detrital shallow shelf is suggested for the depositional environment of the Bahram Formation which deepens to the east(Sardar section) and thins in southern locations(Hutk section). Three 3rdorder cyclic siliciclastic and carbonate sequences in the Bahram Formation and one sequence shared with the overlying joint with Hutk Formation are identified, on the basis of shallowing upward patterns in the micro/pertofacies.  相似文献

The Qiangtang Basin located in northern Tibet is a Jurassic foreland basin, whereas the sedimentation for the arc\|basin system during the Late Triassic. Paleomagnetic sampling sites and sections include the Lower Jurassic section in Juhuashan, Shuanhu district, the Middle and Upper Jurassic section in Nadigangri Mountain and the Lower Cretaceous section in Abushan, Shuanhu district. The Lower Jurassic Nadigangri Fm. is composed of tuffaceous volcanic rocks and turbidite (lower) and purple clastic rocks. The Middle Jurassic consists of Quemocuo Fm. purple clastics , Buqu Fm. carbonates and Xiali Fm. gypsum\|bearing varicolored clastics.The Upper Jurassic includes Suowa Fm. carbonates and Xueshan Fm. purple clastics. The Lower Cretaceous Abushan Fm. is lacustrine clastics.1723 oriented paleomagnetic samples of Jurassic and Cretaceous strata were collected in 1997.The sampling sections is located in Shuanhu district of northern Tibet. Although it is unlikely that the sections studied formed by constant and continuous deposition, field evidence indicates no major breaks in the Jurassic sedimentation, except early Bajocian stage. Based on sections of actual survey, all sampling was done using a portable gas\|powered core drill, and cores were oriented with magnetic compass and inclinometer. Samples were obtained at common stratigraphic spacing of 0 5~5m, partly 5cm at some important geological boundary\|surfaces and beds/members. 25mm diameter and 20~50mm length paleomagnetic core samples were drilled in cropping field. The measuring of most samples was completed at the China Academy of Geosciences Paleomagnetic Laboratory using a type DSM\|2 digital rotational magnetometer (its sensitivity of reaching 10 -5 A/m) made by SCHONSTEDT Company of U.S.A., and SCHONSTEDT TSD\|1 for thermal demagnetization. The apparatus used for AF demagnetization was a commercial (SCHONSTEDT GSD\|5)instrument, capable of reaching 100mT peak field. 10% of total measuring samples were completed at the Beijing Geological Institute Paleomagnetic Laboratory of China Academy of Sciences using a type 2G\|755R magnetometer made by Superconducting Technology for weak magnetized samples (sensitivity of reaching 10 -8 A/m). Most samples were stepwise thermally demagnetized, at 50℃ intervals from 100 to 700℃.  相似文献

对山西襄汾敬村更新统剖面黄土—古土壤的系统古地磁学研究表明,磁化率曲线与洛川黄土—古土壤磁化率标准曲线有较好的对应关系。这种对应关系由极性测量结果进一步证实。根据这一对应关系可推断,敬村剖面底部微红土及其下的砂砾层年代应老于1000ka。这一研究结果也可与距其1km外具有类似接触关系、年代有争议的丁村遗址进行磁性地层学对比。  相似文献

文章对西部黄土高原糜子湾黄土-古土壤剖面进行了磁性地层学研究。该剖面厚度为164.4m,记录了15个正磁极性段和15个负磁极性段,可与标准极性表中从C5r.3r到C5En之间的极性带对比。根据极性界限用平均沉积速率外推,得到该剖面顶界年龄为约11.6MaB.P.,底界年龄为约18.5MaB.P.。糜子湾剖面位于已发表的QAⅠ中新世黄土剖面以东约30km,两剖面相同时代的地层在岩性地层结构和磁化率曲线波动上具有高度的一致性,表明中新世黄土-古土壤序列与第四纪黄土-古土壤序列一样,地层在空间上有很好的可对比性。文章的结果为从空间角度研究中新世环境变化行为提供了新剖面的年代地层框架。  相似文献
