钦杭成矿带南段的庞西垌-金山银金矿田位于粤东与桂西交界处,包括庞西垌、金山、中苏、竹根坡、高村等银金矿床及一系列银金矿点,是20世纪80年代规划的十大银矿基地之一。庞西垌地区经历了多期的构造-岩浆活动,韧性剪切带和断裂构造尤其发育。印支期以来,可识别出3期主要构造:第一期为右行韧性剪切,前人利用糜棱岩中白云母测得时代为221 Ma;第二期为左行韧脆性剪切,北东向的庞西垌-金山断裂带反映最为突出,切过燕山晚期花岗岩;第三期为脆性走滑。银金矿体及矿石结构、构造主要受第二期左行韧脆性剪切带控制。应用里德尔剪切体系对控矿构造的分布特征分析显示,银金矿脉主要赋存于里德尔体系的D、R和T裂隙中;D裂隙是最重要的赋矿构造,热液蚀变岩型和石英脉型矿体呈透镜状左行斜列于主断裂面中,沿走向往南西侧伏;R和T裂隙主要发育梳状含金石英脉。R裂隙呈密集剪破裂产出,与主断裂面夹角15°~35°;T裂隙呈雁列状等距分布,与主断裂面夹角约为45°。这些矿脉就位体系,可以为该区进一步找矿作参考。  相似文献

吉林夹皮沟金矿带中所发育的含金脉系,无一例外地赋存于规模不等、方向不同的剪切带之中。研究表明,由于区内NW向主剪切带的长时期右行走滑,诱发两侧岩块(尤其是东侧上盘的夹皮沟花岗-绿岩地体)中形成大量的次一级剪切褶皱群和剪切脉系,并产生强烈的渐进应变。区域右行走滑控制脉系的基本形态和构造方位,渐进应变则制约脉系内部的构造细节;据此可以对夹皮沟金矿带内次一级剪切脉系的几何方位和发育规律进行鉴别。属于R和D的含矿剪切裂隙在两维的延展上较为稳定;而T属于水平单剪体制下形成的张性裂隙,如果它生成后没有进一步叠加剪切应变的话,理论上其三维延展要比R和D差一些。研究不同力学性质的含矿裂隙的发育规律,在找矿勘探和成矿预测中具有重要的实际应用价值。   相似文献

Archaean lode gold deposits in the Coolgardie Goldfield, Western Australia, occur in mafic and ultramafic rocks which have been metamorphosed to the amphibolite facies. Mineralisation was broadly synchronous with peak metamorphism, the main phase of granitoid emplacement, and regional deformation. Several different structural styles are represented by the deposits of the Coolgardie Goldfield. Mineralisation occurs along sheared felsic porphyry-ultramafic rock contacts, in gabbro-hosted quartz-vein sets, in fault-bounded quartzvein sets, and in laminated quartz reefs sited in brittleductile shear zones. The structures hosting mineralisation formed in response to a progressive deformation event, related to granitoid emplacement in an east-west compressional far-field stress régime, but with local heterogeneous stress orientations. This occurred after an earlier period of thrust-stacking, with probable north-south directed tectonic transport. Two contrasting styles of goldrelated wallrock alteration are associated with the auriferous lodes of the Coolgardie Goldfield. A high-temperature assemblage (formation temperature >500°C), characterised by the proximal alteration assemblage garnet+ hornblende + plagioclase + pyrrhotite, contrasts with a medium-temperature assemblage (formation temperature <500°C), consisting of calcic amphibole + biotite + plagioclase + calcite + arsenopyrite + pyrrhotite. The distribution of the two styles of gold-related alteration is controlled by distance from voluminous syntectonic granitoids located to the west of the Coolgardie Goldfield, with the high-temperature style of alteration more proximal to the granitoid-greenstone contact than the medium-temperature style. The occurrence of gold deposits that formed under amphibolite facies conditions throughout the Coolgardie Goldfield supports a crustal continuum model for Archaean lode-gold deposits, which proposes that gold is deposited in metamorphic environments that range from the sub-greenschist to granulite facies. In addition, the data from Coolgardie suggest that syntectonic, synmineralisation granitic plutons may play a significant role in controlling the style of gold associated wallrock-alteration at deep crustal levels.  相似文献

Shear and extensional veins formed during the reactivation of the Magdala shear system at Stawell in western Victoria, Australia, contribute to the formation of the auriferous Central and Basalt Contact lodes. Within this shear system is a range of fault rocks accompanied by steep-dipping (>65°) quartz-rich laminated shear veins and relatively flat-lying extensional veins. Both vein sets appear to have been a primary source for the host rock permeability during fluid flow in a regime of significant deviatoric stresses. The macro- and microstructures suggest that the dilatancy, that produced mineralized veins, formed under conditions of overpressure generated by fluid infiltration late in a tectonic regime. A new microfabric analysis technique is used to investigate the quartz-rich veins, which allows rapid integration of the microstructure with the crystallographic preferred orientations (CPOs). Both the shear and extensional quartz veins have a random CPO with ∼120° dihedral angles between the quartz–quartz grains, which is typical of a metamorphic equilibrium microfabric. The microstructures indicate that the quartz has undergone extensive grain adjustment in the solid-state, with grain shape and size affected by interfacial solution (pressure solution) effects. These features are consistent with inferences from experimental rock deformation studies, where grain boundary migration is enhanced in a water-rich environment. The onset of solution-transfer processes (pressure solution) developed as the quartz microfabric stabilized and continued to modify the CPO and microstructure significantly. It is concluded that grain growth and pressure solution are coupled diffusive mass transfer processes, related to fluctuations in pore fluid pressures in a region undergoing deformation at near lithostatic pressures.  相似文献

Two distinct types of en-echelon vein arrays are recognised, those which form in active ductile shear zones and those which form by the primary nucleation of fractures not connected with active shear zones. The theoretical relation between vein width and orientation in a zone undergoing progressive simple shear is examined and compared with similar data from natural arrays. It is found that many veins have undergone dilation prior to rotation during simple shear, showing that shearing occurred after the en-echelon array was established. Generally, all strongly sigmoidal veins occur in arrays in which pressure solution was also active. In non-sigmoidal arrays there is a clear relation between the amount of overlap of adjacent veins and the orientation of the veins relative to the zone containing them. Two different patterns of dilation and distortion of arrays in which pressure solution was not active are described. It is concluded that primary en-echelon veins originated as tensile fractures, whilst en-echelon veins formed in active shear zones originated as shear fractures.  相似文献

The Rosario–Bunawan district is situated about 200 km north of Davao City, the capital of the Mindanao Island, Southern Philippines. Gold is produced from the Co-O mine, containing about 2,034,000 t of ore at 10.9 g/t Au, and in numerous small-scale operations by local miners. Epithermal gold mineralization in the Rosario–Bunawan district and the Co-O mine is confined to narrow (0.2–4 m) low-sulfidation quartz–chalcedony–calcite veins in volcanic and volcaniclastic wall rocks. Three major vein orientations are distinguished: (1) the NNW–SSE-trending set with a sinistral strike-slip sense of deformation (Philippine Fault trend); (2) the ENE–WSW-trending dextral strike-slip set (Palawan trend) and associated veins in the Riedel geometry; and (3) the WNW–ESE-trending conjugate set (Co-O trend). Three structural stages are defined: (1) extensional shear or shear veins formed in the Co-O, the Philippine Fault, and Palawan trends during regional NW–SE compression and near vertical vein opening (D1); (2) reactivation of veins in the Philippine Fault, veins associated with the Palawan, and, to a lesser extent, the Co-O trends during E–W compression and near horizontal N–S-oriented vein opening (D2). New D2 extensional shear or shear veins formed in the Philippine Fault, and structures associated with the Palawan and associated Riedel trends; (3) the D3-stage block faulting subsequently displaced all of the auriferous veins. The auriferous Rosario–Bunawan district is situated between two splays of the Philippine Fault, which acted as a lateral ramp system during the oblique convergence of the Philippine Sea plate and the Eurasian plate. The oblique convergence resulted in a change from a compressional (D1) to a transpressional (D2) regime, which was a prerequisite for the two-stage vein opening and hydrothermal mineralization, leading to an economic gold enrichment. D1 compressional tectonics may have caused an elevated geothermal gradient in shallow crustal levels, forming the heat source for the fluid plumbing system, which is at variance to typical epithermal deposits formed in extensional zones. D2 thrusting of a limestone nappe together with syn-tectonic diorite intrusions may have further increased the geothermal gradient, maintaining the fluid plumbing system. The limestone nappe may, at the same time, have represented an aquitard forcing the hydrothermal fluids into the volcanic and volcaniclastic wall rocks, which is regarded as critical for the two-stage gold mineralization in the Rosario–Bunawan district.  相似文献

科克萨依金矿床为典型的韧性剪切带蚀变糜棱岩型金矿床,它与克孜勒它乌推覆构造系统有着十分密切的内在成因联系,其变形作用以韧性变形为主,具典型的深层次变形构造组合特点,其成矿过程可划分为3个重要的构造演化阶段,即早期的剪切片理化阶段、中期的变形分解阶段和晚期的液压致裂阶段,从而建立了该剪切带金矿床的构造演化模式。早期的剪切片理化阶段仅具微弱的金矿化;中期变形分解过程中,含金流体的渗流导致水热蚀变和金在递进缩短应变域的大规模沉淀,形成了主成矿期的金矿化;在晚期液压致裂阶段,含金流体涌入张裂隙,形成高品位、小规模的含金石英脉。  相似文献

Vein structures are typically the earliest expression of brittle deformation within sediments. These mud-filled veins, which characteristically occur regularly spaced within bed-parallel arrays, form in sediments that possess a strong interlocking particle framework. Downslope creep has been proposed to explain the origins of vein structures, however, a recent suggestion that they are generated by the passage of earthquake shear waves through sediments explains aspects of their morphology, and their dominant occurrence at active convergent margins. Their coexistence with less disruptive “ghost veins” in Peru margin sediments, and their almost normal attitude to bedding, however, suggests that vein structures were formed by processes more complex than downslope creep, or seismically induced shearing alone.

Experimental earthquake simulation was undertaken by laterally shaking a box containing crushed diatomite. Fractures were induced almost normal to the horizontal shaking direction, and to a lesser extent as antithetic Riedel shears, both of which closely resembled vein structures. The fracturing process during shaking may be viewed as a progressive fragmentation of the diatomite, in which new fractures form half-way between pre-existing ones. Thus fracture spacings are progressively halved. Shear zones oriented at a low angle to the shaking direction were also generated, combining with the high-angle fractures to form structures very similar to those observed in Peru margin sediments. When shaken, fines added to the diatomite segregated into planar zones that resembled ghost veins, half-way between fractures. The alternating pattern of fractures and fines indicated that a standing pressure wave had been created within the box during shaking. The fractures were created by alternating compression and extension at the antinodes, while the fines concentrated in zones of minimum grain movement around the nodal planes. This suggests that vein structures are initiated by the combined action of shear and pressure waves within a sediment. The strain waves may be seismic in origin, or may also form in downslope movement system.  相似文献

The Baolun gold deposit is a mesothermal orogenic gold deposit located in the southwestern part of Hainan Island, South China. The deposit comprises a series of NNW-trending quartz-sulfide lodes situated within a parallel array of fault zones traversing a sequence of variably foliated flysch siliciclastic rocks of the Lower Silurian. Detailed field mapping documented at least five phases of deformation in the deposit including NNW-trending folding of the Lower Silurian rocks (D1), development of NNW-trending, steeply dipping ductile shear zones with an oblique dextral sense corresponding to NNE-SSW shortening (D2), WNW-ESE shortening and extension associated with an early oblique sinistral ductile shearing along the NNW-trending fault zones (D3), ENE-WSW shortening (D4), and near N-S extension (D5). The gold-bearing quartz lodes cut the strata folded in the D1, show some laminar layering related to ductile shear in the D2 and are overprinted by brittle structures formed in the D3 to D5. 40Ar–39Ar dating on muscovite from an auriferous quartz lode yielded an age of 242 ± 2.5 Ma, which, together with the age of 232 ± 2.5 Ma for an aplite vein in the deposit, suggests that the mineralization may be related to a tectono-thermal event in the Triassic. In the context of the southern South China plate tectonics, the formation of the Baolun gold deposit is interpreted to be related to the oblique dextral ductile shearing (D2) along the NNW-trending fault zones during the Indosinian orogeny, in relation to the convergence between the Indochina and South China plates.  相似文献

Microstructural analysis and microthermometry are useful methods for determining the deformation evolution. To address this issue, rheological behavior of quartz, feldspar and calcite in veins and host rocks during deformation, are presented in the mylonite zone of the dextral reverse Zamanabad Shear Zone (ZSZ), in northern part of Sistan Suture Zone (SSZ), in east of Iran. Microstructure evidences revealed two evolution stages of high and low temperature deformation. Quartz microstructures in the ZSZ show abundant evidences for early high-temperature plastic deformation (e.g. Bulging recrystallization (BLG)) which are as microstructures with SW directed ductile shearing in the central parts of the ZSZ. This shear zone shows progressively decreasing strain away from the central of shear zone toward the wall. High-temperature microstructures are overprinted partly or completely during shearing by the later low-temperature deformation (e.g. Pressure solution, fractures, veinlets). Microstructural observations of veins (quartz and calcite) confirms the results of microstructures in the host rock, as quartz veins occurred from peak metamorphic conditions (<400°C) and then in lower P–T conditions have been formed calcite veins (~250°C). According to microthermometric studies, two primary fluid groups are observed in quartz veins: (1) fluids trapped during peak deformation conditions, with higher-salinity, They were initially trapped at ~300–400°C, (2) smaller fluids by trapping of low-salinity inclusions at ~240–180°C that related to subsequent phases of shear zone exhumation in lower deep. Microthermometry results and microstructural analysis indicate deformation under lower greenschist facies conditions for the ZSZ, and then exhumation of the early of high-temperature rocks within regime of ductile-brittle transition to brittle.  相似文献

本文将辽宁省金矿划分四种类型,十个主要金矿集中区。这些集中区均受华北地台东西向基底构造活动带及中生代太平洋板块俯冲影响、所产生的北西向构造挤压带和北东向构造—岩浆岩带的复合作用控制。它们分别处于太不洋成矿带的内带(辽东)和外带(辽西)。并以郯庐断裂为轴线,构成了两大“U”字形,类似共轭曲线展布的构造样式。根据深部地球物理资料,综合分析了控制金矿集中区构造样式的形成机制。区内脉状金矿大都分布在深断裂(深度大于五公里断裂)带附近。  相似文献

辽宁柏杖子金矿床是冀东金矿带大型金矿之一,金矿化类型为含金黄铁矿石英细脉浸染型和含金黄铁矿石英脉型,大部分金矿矿体是隐伏矿体,矿体与围岩电性差异明显,矿床普查阶段开展了电阻率中梯测量、激电中梯测量和激电测深工作。矿体具有低阻高极化特点,异常带与矿区主构造和花岗斑岩吻合一致,因此由以往围绕北西向小矿体找矿,改变为沿矿区主构造和花岗斑岩寻找隐伏矿体,根据电法异常布设钻孔,取得了显著找矿效果。  相似文献

Current mine exposures of auriferous veins in the Charters Towers Goldfield (CTGF) are characterized by a scarcity of kinematic indicators. Furthermore, the dip direction of exposed and historically mined orebodies largely coincides with the orientation of pre-existing discontinuities. Consequently, the reactivation of earlier structures during gold deposition is strongly indicated. Both factors complicate the structural analysis of the auriferous vein systems, as slip on earlier faults likely occurred before new rock failure and evolution of fault networks reflecting the stress field present at the time of gold deposition. Despite access to drillcore, open pits and underground workings, extracted data were limited to ten occurrences of wear groove striations and three reverse separations of dykes and a pegmatite cut by sulphide-bearing quartz veins. Because of the scarcity of kinematic information, the structural analysis focused on the geometry of veins and ore-shoots, also applying basic graphical and kinematic methods.  相似文献

The Bogosu-Prestea mining district of southwestern Ghana is a 33 km section of the Early Proterozoic Ashanti Gold Belt. Greenschist facies carbonaceous and carbonate-bearing turbidites and greywackes, and mafic dikes host numerous economic mesothermal gold deposits. Structurally higher ores in the Bogosu concession have brittle deformation and consist of disseminated-sulphide lodes in tectonically-disrupted sedimentary rocks and carbonate-altered mafic dikes. Most gold occurs as micrometre-size particles in arsenian pyrite, and as invisible gold in arsenian pyrite and arsenopyrite. The structurally deeper ores of the adjoining Prestea concession are associated with brittle-ductile deformation and consist of extensive crack-seal quartz-veins and graphitic shear zones. Only minor amounts of invisible gold were detected; in these deeper lodes, gold occurs dominantly as abundant microscopic and larger particles in sulphide/arsenide minerals and in gangue. The gold distribution patterns revealed by SIMS microprobe analysis and ion maps, EMP and colour staining suggest that most of the primary gold in the Bogosu-Prestea system precipitated in solid-solution with sulphide/arsenide minerals. However, post-depositional concentration and redistribution occurred, in increasing degree with: 1) increase in metamorphic/hydrothermal gradients in the gold system (depth), 2) decrease in the refractory properties of the host mineral, and 3) increase in the amount of post-depositional, host-mineral recrystallization and deformation. Gold evolved from primary solid-solution within sulphide/arsenide minerals, to colloidal and micrometre-size particles concentrated in voids, fractures and internal grain boundaries, and finally to microscopic and larger particles at sulphide/arsenide grain margins and in the gangue assemblage. The general conclusions presented here are applicable to As-rich gold deposits of all ages, worldwide. The presence of gold in late fractures is insufficient evidence for late-stage introduction of gold in mesothermal gold systems.  相似文献

丁家林-太阳坪金矿带与丁家林-太阳坪脆-韧性剪切带同位分布、同能源作用、同步生成,是脆-韧性剪切变形形成的石英脉型金矿,总体走向NE,主要由丁家林和太阳坪2个金矿床组成,分石英单脉、单脉密集带、复脉带3个亚型。丁家林以含Au石英复脉为主,太阳坪以含Au石英单脉为主;成矿物质来源于富含Si质的志留系黄坪组,成矿流体主要是构造水;内生成矿作用分脆.韧性剪切变形-构造分异热液期和韧-脆性剪切变形-构造分异热液期,与2期脆-韧性剪切变形相对应,第2期为主成矿期。其成矿机理是脆-韧性剪切变形动力成岩成矿。  相似文献

Geometric analysis of nested Riedel structures was used to identify and quantify strain localization processes within faulted Navajo sandstone. The analysis shows systematic deviation from the basic Riedel geometry complying with the Mohr–Coulomb criterion. Using cross-cutting relations amongst deformation bands within the Riedel structures, and comparing the orientations of the deformation bands to theoretical strain calculations, we identify two coupling deformation mechanisms involved in the early stages of shear-zone evolution, namely, granular flow and discrete faulting. Both mechanisms localize during strain accumulation, and the granular flow facilitates considerable change in the initial geometry of the Riedel structures. The analysis demonstrates a systematic sequence, by which new Riedel structures form after a constant amount of shear strain takes place in the sandstone. Analysis further indicates that granular flow is the major deformation mechanism during early stages of shear-zone evolution and discrete faulting is the dominant mechanism during later deformation stages.  相似文献
