本文利用NCEP/NCAR再分析资料从不同角度评估了BCC_CSM气候模式对风暴轴的模拟能力。对于气候态的模拟,BCC_CSM气候模式可以准确地模拟出各季节风暴轴主体的强度与位置。对于时空分布的年际变化的模拟,BCC_CSM模拟的冬季风暴轴EOF分解的第一与第二模态特征向量场同NCEP再分析资料对应的特征向量场结构类似,前两个模态分别为全区一致及南北反向型,第三模态则有所不同。对于年内逐月的风暴轴强度和纬度指数变化,BCC_CSM有着较好的模拟效果,可以模拟出太平洋风暴轴独有的“深冬抑制”现象,但对经度指数变化的模拟则与再分析资料有着较大差异。对于风暴轴向极移动情况的模拟,太平洋地区的模拟结果没有表现出向极移动,而大西洋地区则模拟出1970年以后风暴轴位置向极地偏移的趋势。 相似文献

The Strait of Georgia is a large, semi-enclosed body of water between Vancouver Island and the mainland of British Columbia connected to the Pacific Ocean via Juan de Fuca Strait at the south and Johnstone Strait at the north. During the winter months, coastal communities along the Strait of Georgia are at risk of flooding caused by storm surges, a natural hazard that can occur when a strong storm coincides with high tide. This investigation produces storm surge hindcasts using a three-dimensional numerical ocean model for the Strait of Georgia and the surrounding bodies of water (Juan de Fuca Strait, Puget Sound, and Johnstone Strait) collectively known as the Salish Sea. The numerical model employs the Nucleus for European Modelling of the Ocean architecture in a regional configuration. The model is evaluated through comparisons of tidal elevation harmonics and storm surge with observations. Important forcing factors contributing to storm surges are assessed. It is shown that surges entering the domain from the Pacific Ocean make the most significant contribution to surge amplitude within the Strait of Georgia. Comparisons between simulations and high-resolution and low-resolution atmospheric forcing further emphasize that remote forcing is the dominant factor in surge amplitudes in this region. In addition, local wind patterns caused a slight increase in surge amplitude on the mainland side of the Strait of Georgia compared with Vancouver Island coastal areas during a major wind storm on 15 December 2006. 首次利用气候模式作了跨年度的针对冬季和春季气候异常形势的预测试验.预测结果显示,今冬的气候特点为,我国北方降水正常,南方略偏多,气温在我国全境基本为正常,因此,不会出现暖冬现象,而欧亚大陆北部则为明显的暖冬.预测结果还表明,明春我国西北、华北、东北降水正常,其他地区略多,全国气温均较正常,因此,明春的沙尘暴形势如常,不会出现超出常年的春季沙尘暴形势.但由于近些年的气候变化趋势使然,明春的沙尘暴仍可能在局部时空段内相当严重. 相似文献

报告了利用气候模式对我国今冬明春气候异常进行跨年度实时预测的初步结果.根据作者的预测,今冬我国北方降水基本正常,南方略偏多.西北、东北及黄河下游和长江下游之间的温度会较常年略偏暖,全国其他地区的冬季气温接近常年.同时,欧亚大陆中部会出现暖冬,但强度明显较去年要弱.此外,预计明春我国110°E以西,河西走廊一带以外地区降水较常年偏多,其他地区基本正常.加之预测结果中出现冬季极涡加深,东亚大槽减弱,春季我国北方低层风场无明显西北风距平,以及今冬明春东北亚始终有明显反气旋控制的气候特征,认为明春沙尘暴形势正常或略偏弱. 相似文献

基于最大熵模型(MaxEnt)和GIS技术,提出一种薄壳山核桃气候适宜性区划方法。利用美国本土274个种植点,结合美国本土和中国云南省1981—2010年气候数据开展薄壳山核桃气候适宜性区划研究。结果表明:7月平均气温、年平均气温、30年极端最低气温、年降水量、3—5月降水量、年日照时数和4—5月日照时数为影响薄壳山核桃气候适宜性的主要气候因子。基于美国本土种植点构建的MaxEnt模型在该区域具有较高精度,但将模型直接外推用于中国云南省可靠性不足。因此,利用模拟区域和训练样本气候因子值域的偏离程度改进气候适宜性指数,并将云南省薄壳山核桃适宜性划分为最适宜、适宜、次适宜和不适宜4个等级。其中,最适宜区和适宜区分布于热量资源丰富、日照相对充足并具备较好冬季低温条件的亚热带地区和热带地区边缘。受云南省复杂地形和气候条件影响,区划结果呈现出破碎化分布。 相似文献

An interdisciplinary investigation was conducted to assess the impact ofclimate change on grain yields using an economy--climate model (C-D-C). Themodel was formulated by incorporating climate factors into the classicCobb-Douglas (C-D) economic production function model. The economic meaningsof the model output elasticities are described and elucidated. The C-D-Cmodel was applied to the assessment of the impact of climate change on grainyields in China during the past 20 years, from 1983 through 2002. In thestudy, the land of China was divided into eight regions, and both the C-D-Cand C-D models were applied to each individual region. The results suggestthat the C-D-C model is superior to the classic C-D model, indicating theimportance of climate factors. Prospective applications of the C-D-C modelare discussed. 相似文献

This study evaluates the ability of the global coupled climate models in hindcasting the Arctic Oscillation (AO) and Antarctic
Oscillation (AAO). The results show that the models can well simulate the spatial distribution of AO with better results in
winter than in spring. In the troposphere in spring, the simulation of AO on the whole is still relatively good with a comparatively
high correlation with the NCEP/NCAR reanalysis. The models can also well reproduce the spatial distribution of AAO throughout
the year at all levels of the troposphere, and the spatial simulation is better at 850 hPa than at the surface. Although the
simulation is better in winter than in other seasons, the seasonal variation is not so significant and the differences among
different models are relatively small. In addition, the capability of the models for “predicting” the AO and the AAO index
time series is limited, because only a few models can capture their observed interannual variability at the 95% significance

The regional climate model RegCM3 has been one-way nested into IAP9L-AGCM,the nine-level atmospheric general circulation model of the Institute of Atmospheric Physics,Chinese Academy of Sciences,to perform a 20-yr(1982-2001)hindcast experiment on extraseaonal short-term prediction of China summer climate.The nested prediction system is referred to as RegCM3_IAP9L-AGCM in this paper.The results show that hindcasted climate fields such as 500-hPa geopotential height,200-and 850-hPa zonal winds from RegCM3_IAP9L-AGCM have positive anomaly correlation coefficients (ACCs) with the observations,andare better than those from the stand-alone IAP9L-AGCM.Except for the 850-hPa wind field,the positive ACCs of the other two fields with observations both pass the 90% confidence level and display a zonal distribution.The results indicate that the positive correlation of summer precipitation anomaly percentage between the nested prediction system and observations covers most parts of China except for downstream of the Yangtze River and north of Northeast and Northwest China.The nested prediction system and the IAP9L-AGCM exhibit different hindcast skills over different regions of China,and the former demonstrates a higher skill over South China than the latter in predicting the summer precipitation. 相似文献

In this study, the CERES(Crop Estimation through Resource and Environment Synthesis) crop model was coupled with CLM3.5, the land module of the regional climate model RegCM4. The new coupled model was named RegCM4_CERES; and in this model, crop type was further divided into winter wheat, spring wheat, spring maize, summer maize, early rice, late rice,single rice, and other crop types based on each distribution fraction. The development of each crop sub-type was simulated by the corresponding crop model separately, with each planting and harvesting date. A simulation test using RegCM4_CERES was conducted across China from 1999 to 2008; a control test was also performed using the original RegCM4. Data on crop LAI(leaf area index), soil moisture at 10 cm depth, precipitation, and 2 m air temperature were collected to evaluate the performance of RegCM4_CERES. The evaluation provided comparison of single-station time series, regional distributions,seasonal variations, and statistical indices for RegCM4_CERES. The results revealed that the coupled model had an excellent ability to simulate the phonological changes and spatial variations in crops. The consideration of dynamic crop development in RegCM4_CERES corrected the wet bias of the original RegCM4 over North China and the cold bias over South China.However, the degree of improvement was minimal and the statistical indices for RegCM4_CERES were roughly the same as the original RegCM4. 相似文献

引入能够将非线性、非平稳过程的数据进行线性化和平稳化处理的EMD方法,对广东降水的时间序列进行时间尺度分离,从复杂的非平稳信号中提取相对简单以不同时间尺度振荡的准周期信号,选取能较好描述降水周期特征的IMF分量作为建模备选因子,然后以均生回归、均生相关、韵律拟合误差和拟合误差4种方法构建预测模型,结果得到采用多尺度因子构建的4种单预测模型近10年Ps评分和降水距平符号同号率平均分在68~73分和50%~58%之间,而采用4种模型构建的回归集成模型两种评分方法的平均分分别高达79.8和68.8%,较单一预测模型评分分别提高了近10分和10%以上。将具有降水指示信号的前冬赤道东太平洋海温因子耦合到回归集成预测模型,其Ps评分结果与纯降水集成模型相当,但同号率评分略高3.1%。从而,提取要素序列的多种时间尺度特征,并采用多模型的集成预报,均能有效提高短期气候预测水平。 相似文献

On the basis of two ensemble experiments conducted by a general atmospheric circulation model (Institute of Atmospheric Physics nine-level atmospheric general circulation model coupled with land surface model, hereinafter referred to as IAP9L_CoLM), the impacts of realistic Eurasian snow conditions on summer climate predictability were investigated. The predictive skill of sea level pressures (SLP) and middle and upper tropospheric geopotential heights at mid-high latitudes of Eurasia was enhanced when improved Eurasian snow conditions were introduced into the model. Furthermore, the model skill in reproducing the interannual variation and spatial distribution of the surface air temperature (SAT) anomalies over China was improved by applying realistic (prescribed) Eurasian snow conditions. The predictive skill of the summer precipitation in China was low; however, when realistic snow conditions were employed, the predictability increased, illustrating the effectiveness of the application of realistic Eurasian snow conditions. Overall, the results of the present study suggested that Eurasian snow conditions have a significant effect on dynamical seasonal prediction in China. When Eurasian snow conditions in the global climate model (GCM) can be more realistically represented, the predictability of summer climate over China increases. 相似文献

基于ECMWF细网格模式的定时最高(低)气温预报产品,针对2017年陕西99个国家级气象站的日最高(低)气温预报,检验和比较了递减平均法和一元线性回归法两种方法对气温预报误差的订正效果。结果表明,两种方法都显著地提高了日最高(低)气温的预报准确率,随着预报时效的延长,订正能力逐渐减弱。技巧评分与模式对气温的预报能力有显著的负相关关系,秦岭及其以南地区的日最高气温预报和秦岭以北地区的日最低气温预报的准确率偏低,其技巧评分一般超过40%,极大值超过70%。两种方法都有效降低了系统误差,较小误差范围的站次增多,较大误差范围的站次减少,对日最高气温在预报绝对误差≤2℃误差范围的订正能力较为突出,对日最低气温在预报绝对误差≥3℃误差范围的订正更有优势。一元线性回归法对日最高气温预报的订正能力略优于递减平均法,对日最低气温预报的订正能力不及递减平均法,利用这两种方法对气温预报进行混合订正的效果更佳。 相似文献

建立了不均匀的地表径流算法,修改了RegCM2中径流方案,这一算法适用于疏松土壤和紧密土壤.设计了一个适合与气候模式RegCM2耦合、能模拟水文站流量的汇流模式.模拟了1998年夏季大暴雨期间6、7、8月降水的空间分布,分析了该径流方案对降水、地表热量通量、地表径流、土壤湿度产生的影响,结果表明:①本文提出的方案在模拟1998年长江流域夏季大暴雨期间降水的空间分布上有一定的合理性,在一定程度上改善了降水量的模拟,其影响大致是总降水量的10%左右.②地表径流方案改变了地面向大气输送的热量通量,这种作用随时间发生变化,这种变化与地表水分的再分配有关.③本方案计算的土壤渗透能力较强.在暴雨的初期,产生径流较少,而在暴雨后期土壤湿度增大,产生的地表径流较大,这一点更符合洪水形成的特点. 相似文献

A regional atmosphere-ocean coupled model,RegCM3-POM,was developed by coupling the regional climate model(RegCM3) with the Princeton Ocean Model(POM).The performance of RegCM3-POM in simulating a persistent snow storm over southern China and the impact of the Madden-Julian oscillation(MJO) on this persistent snow storm were investigated.Compared with the stand-alone RegCM3,the coupled model performed better at reproducing the spatial-temporal evolution and intensity of the precipitation episodes.The power spectral analysis indicated that the coupled model successfully captured the dominant period between 30 and 60 days in the precipitation field,leading to a notable improvement in simulating the magnitude of intraseasonal precipitation variation,and further in enhancing the intensity of the simulated precipitation.These improvements were mainly due to the well-simulated low-frequency oscillation center and its eastward propagation characteristics in each MJO phase by RegCM3-POM,which improved the simulations of MJO-related low-frequency vertical motions,water vapor transport,and the deep inversion layer that can directly influence the precipitation event and that further improved the simulated MJOprecipitation relationship.Analysis of the phase relationship between convection and SST indicated that RegCM3-POM exhibits a near-quadrature relation between the simulated convection and SST anomalies,which was consistent with the observations.However,such a near-quadrature relation was not as significant when the stand-alone RegCM3 was used.This difference indicated that the inherent coupled feedback process between the ocean and atmosphere in RegCM3-POM played an important part in reproducing the features of the MJO that accompanied the snow storm. 相似文献

利用国家气候中心全球海气耦合模式(BCC_CM1.0)嵌套区域气候模式RegCM3进行了近10年(1998-2007年)夏季回报及2010年华东夏季实时业务预报。从10年回报的模拟平均状况来看,模式基本能反映出中国东部夏季的平均状况,模式回报的夏季气温分布与实况较为相似,但回报的夏季降水量分布形态与实况有一定差异。使用国家气候中心六级Ps评分及简化的Ps评分对模式10年回报进行了评估。结果表明,该模式对华东地区夏季气温和降水有一定的跨季度预报能力,温度和降水10年平均Ps评分分别为69.9和60.9;对华东地区南部的气温及其东南部的降水有较好的回报效果。利用该模式进行了2010年夏季实时业务预报,预报检验表明,模式预报的2010年夏季温度距平和降水距平百分率分布与实况较为一致,夏季温度和降水的Ps评分分别为71.4和55.3;对影响较为严重的气候事件如江西降水极端偏多等也进行了准确预报。 相似文献

采用泰勒图和偏差分析等统计方法,评估分析了德国区域气候模式(REMO)对中国1989-2008年气温和降水的模拟能力。结果表明:REMO气温模拟值与观测值空间相关系数为0.94,降水空间相关系数较低(0.42),气温模拟结果明显优于降水;从空间偏差上看,在中国大部分地区,REMO模拟的气温高于观测值,偏差在±4℃以内,青藏高原整体有明显的-4~-2℃的冷偏差;模拟的降水值则高于观测值,空间偏差分布较均匀,中国大部分地区偏差在±300 mm之内;除青藏高原、华南和西南地区外,REMO能较准确地反映出中国气温和降水的空间分布特征,其中华北和东北地区模拟效果最好;REMO对夏季气温和冬季降水的模拟能力相对较好;REMO在地形起伏较大地区的模拟能力有待提高。 相似文献
