未来地震地面运动不仅具有随机性而且具有强烈的模糊性。这种模糊性是由于地震烈度和场地土类別的定义和评定标准的模糊性所引起的,在其模型中应该予以考虑。 本文从不同特征和条件的工程实际出发,在充分考虑上述模糊性和随机性的基础上,提出了地震地面运动的两种模糊随机模型。第一种模型是在预测地震烈度和应用地震反应谱的基础上建立起来的;第二种模型是在现有的随机过程模型的基础上,通过引进适当的模糊参数而建立起来的。   相似文献

In this paper a probabilistic approach has been adopted to study both the effects of uncertainty in earthquake frequency content and the correlation between earthquake frequency content and ground motion intensity on the response of a single-storey torsionally coupled elastic structure. The earthquake ground motion has been assumed to be a Gaussian, zero mean, stationary random process which is fully characterized by a power spectrum. The ground acceleration power spectrum is idealized as a probabilistic normalized power spectrum computed from actual earthquake records. The advantage of such an idealization is that it enables the effect of the natural frequency as a controlling structural parameter in torsional coupling to be assessed. Comparisons of the dynamic amplifications of eccentricity with those obtained from modern codes of practice and conventional response spectrum analyses have been made. The results of this study have shown that the variation in the frequency content has a significant effect on the response of low frequency structures, while the correlation between the frequency content and the intensity of seismic ground motion is insignificant for the wide range of structures considered. The structure natural frequency has been shown to be an important controlling parameter in the torsionally coupled response of structures subject to seismic loading. The frequency dependence of the dynamic amplification of eccentricity was found not to be reflected in the response spectrum analysis and the torsional provisions of modern building codes.  相似文献

利用随机振动理论,分别考虑3种地震动随机过程模型,本文对反应谱变异系数及相关问题进行了深入分析。研究结果表明:在一定范围内,地震动模型、场地条件和结构体系阻尼比对结构加速度反应越零率有明显影响,但这三者对反应谱变异系数的量值影响不大。在工程设计中,可以采用白噪声模型按本文给出公式计算反应谱变异系数。  相似文献

The calculation of design spectra for building sites threatened by seismic ground motion is approached by considering the maximum responses of linearly elastic oscillators as indicators of ground motion intensity. Attenuation functions describing the distribution of response as a function of earthquake magnitude and distance are derived using 68 components of recorded ground motion as data. With a seismic hazard analysis for several hypothetical building sites, the distributions of maximum oscillator responses to earthquakes of random magnitude and location are calculated, and spectra are drawn to indicate the maximum responses associated with specified probability levels. These spectra are compared to design spectra calculated from published methods of amplifying peak ground motion parameters. The latter spectra are found to be inconsistent in terms of risk for building sites very close and very far from faults. A ground motion parameter defined to be proportional to the maximum response of a 1 Hz, 2 per cent damped linearly elastic oscillator is investigated; this parameter, in conjunction with peak ground acceleration, is found to lead to risk-consistent design spectra. Through these two parameters, a design earthquake magnitude and design hypocentral distance are defined, for a specified building site and risk level. The use of these parameters in the seismic hazard mapping of a region is illustrated.  相似文献

Earthquake ground motion records are nonstationary in both amplitude and frequency content. However, the latter nonstationarity is typically neglected mainly for the sake of mathematical simplicity. To study the stochastic effects of the time‐varying frequency content of earthquake ground motions on the seismic response of structural systems, a pair of closely related stochastic ground motion models is adopted here. The first model (referred to as ground motion model I) corresponds to a fully nonstationary stochastic earthquake ground motion model previously developed by the authors. The second model (referred to as ground motion model II) is nonstationary in amplitude only and is derived from the first model. Ground motion models I and II have the same mean‐square function and global frequency content but different features of time variation in the frequency content, in that no time variation of the frequency content exists in ground motion model II. New explicit closed‐form solutions are derived for the response of linear elastic SDOF and MDOF systems subjected to stochastic ground motion model II. New analytical solutions for the evolutionary cross‐correlation and cross‐PSD functions between the ground motion input and the structural response are also derived for linear systems subjected to ground motion model I. Comparative analytical results are presented to quantify the effects of the time‐varying frequency content of earthquake ground motions on the structural response of linear elastic systems. It is found that the time‐varying frequency content in the seismic input can have significant effects on the stochastic properties of system response. 本文详细评述了现今常用的几种加速度反应谱与功率谱的转换关系。对于小阻尼单质点体系而言,考虑到输入地震动是一非平稳的随机过程,又由于其传递函数的窄频带滤波特性,它的加速度反应将是一窄频带的非平稳随机过程。对于峰值系数水平的超越不是独立的,而是成群超越。据此本文考虑非平稳效应和对峰值系数水平的成群效应,对前人的转换关系进行了修正,并基于随机振动理论,给出了对工程上常用的频率平稳、强度非平稳的地震;动模型的功率谱和反应谱的转换关系。此转换关系对于长、短持时的地震动记录和反应谱长、短周期部分以及不同阻尼比的反应谱都能给出精度较高的结果。  相似文献

A recently developed earthquake ground motion model non-stationary in both intensity and frequency content is validated at the inelastic Single-Degree-Of-Freedom (SDOF) structural response level. For the purpose of this study, the earthquake model is calibrated for two actual earthquake records. The objective of a constant (or target) displacement ductility used in conventional earthquake-resistant design is examined from the statistical viewpoint using this non-stationary earthquake model. The non-linear hysteretic structural behaviour is modelled using several idealized hysteretic SDOF structural models. Ensemble-average inelastic response spectra corresponding to various inelastic SDOF response (or damage) parameters and conditioned on a constant displacement ductility response are derived from the two identified stochastic ground motion models. The effects of the type of hysteretic behaviour, the structural parameters, the target displacement ductility factor, and the ground motion model on the statistics of the inelastic response parameters are thoroughly investigated. The results of this parametric study shed further light on the proper interpretation and use of inelastic response or damage parameters in earthquake-resistant design in order to achieve the desirable objective of ‘constant-damage design’. © 1997 by John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

在PEER地震动数据库(PGMD)的基础上, 结合近几年国内外特大地震的地面运动记录, 建立了地面运动数据库, 同时根据日本MW9.0特大地震获得的141组记录进行统计回归建立加速度反应谱衰减关系, 并采用条件均值反应谱法, 即设定地震与结构概率需求结合的方法选择地面运动. 选波实例表明, 当设定地震为特大地震时, 基于条件均值反应谱法选取地面运动记录时, 扩展数据库中大震记录并建立符合大震记录加速度反应谱的衰减关系是十分必要与迫切的. 该思路为进一步研究结构动态时程分析中地面运动记录选取问题及所选记录提供了依据.   相似文献

Theoretical and experimental results from computational physics and non-linear rock mechanics have been merged in order to obtain a deterministic model of a stick-slip earthquake. The model has been exercised to uncover the dependence of peak ground motion and response spectra on fault length, rupture velocity and dynamic stress drop during rupture. A particular method for generating a design spectrum has been tested against results from the model. Utilization of this deterministic technique seems especially appropriate when design information is required at sites located near the epicentre.  相似文献

为了提高铁路房屋的抗震能力,分析地震动竖向分量对铁路房屋的地震响应性能,提出基于荷载—变形关系联合评估的地震动竖向分量对铁路房屋的地震响应评估模型。构建地震动竖向分量的力学响应评估模型,识别铁路房屋的地震屈服响应参数,采用荷载—变形关系和极限荷载结合的方法进行铁路房屋的地震屈服响应应力评估,分析地震动竖向分量对铁路房屋的响应。建立动量平衡方程和弯矩平衡方程,构建铁路房屋的地震响应的三阶段荷载—变形模式,实现地震动竖向分量对铁路房屋的地震响应性能评估模型的优化设计。测试结果表明,采用该模型能有效分析地震动竖向分量对铁路房屋的地震响应性能影响,Simulink仿真结果和有限元模拟结果的准确性较高,力学参数辨识性能优越,计算结果准确可靠。  相似文献

The 1995 Hyogo-ken Nanbu (Kobe) earthquake brought about enormous damage to structures in the Hanshin and Awaji areas. In this paper the importance of investigating the relationship between ground motion and structural damage is pointed out.

Strong seismic motion was observed at the NTT (Nippon Telegraph and Telephone) Building during this earthquake. The structural damage to this building was relatively slight. In order to evaluate the relationship between ground motion and structural damage, it is necessary to assess the effects of the soil–structure interaction. In this study, the seismic response of the building and of the surface soil were evaluated by means of a nonlinear soil–structure interaction analysis using FEM.

It was found that, the nonlinearity of surface soil near the building had a great effect on the soil–structure interaction, especially the rocking of the building.  相似文献

The seismic performance of Tuned Liquid Column Dampers (TLCDs) for the passive control of flexible structures is investigated using random vibration analysis. A non-stationary stochastic process with frequency and amplitude modulation is used to represent the earthquake strong motion, and a simple equivalent linearization technique is used to account for the non-linear damping force in the TLCD. The governing equations of motion for the structure TLCD system are formulated and reduced to a first-order state vector equation, from which the differential equation for the system response covariance matrix is obtained. The TLCD performance is evaluated on the basis of selected structural response statistics, namely, the expected maximum and root-mean-square displacements, and root-mean-square absolute accelerations and interstorey shears. A parametric study and sensitivity analysis are conducted to assess the TLCD performance and identify critical design parameters. Illustrative examples are presented using SDOF and MDOF shear-beam structural models, a wide-banded stationary random base acceleration and two non-stationary random input ground motions representative of long- and short-duration ground accelerations with significant low-frequency content.  相似文献

The response and damage assessment of engineering structures under near-field ground motions is currently of great interest. Near-field ground motion with directivity focusing or fling effects produces pulse-like ground motion that has characteristics different from those of ordinary records. This paper develops simple deterministic and probabilistic models for near-field pulse-like ground motions. These models belong to the class of engineering models that aim to replicate some of the gross features observed in near-field records. The ground velocity is expressed as a steady-state function or a stationary random process modulated by an envelope function. Both models account for the non-stationarity and the multiple pulses in the ground velocity. While the deterministic model is similar to some of the models developed earlier, the probabilistic model facilitates handling uncertainties in the ground motion and variability in the structure's properties. For instance, this model combined with structural reliability methods can be used for reliability assessment of structures under near-field random ground motion. The reduction of the structural response by adding supplemental dampers is also investigated.  相似文献

This study investigates the applicability and limitations of the Eurocode 8 earthquake ground motion selection framework for the assessment of both elastic and inelastic structural response of multi-storey, irregular R/C buildings subjected to bi-directional loading. In order to minimize modelling uncertainties inherent in the quantification of structural damage and the consideration of the supporting soil–foundation system for complex structural systems, an existing building damaged by the 2003 Lefkada earthquake was adopted as case study. This selection has an advantage in that ground excitation, soil profile and damage observations are all available, thus permitting calibration of the finite element model with the observed response, especially in terms of use of appropriate plasticity models and damage indices, plus the assessment of soil–structure interaction effects. After establishing a reliable finite element model of the structure under study, extensive parametric analyses for different EC8 compliant sets of records were conducted, permitting quantification of the discrepancy of the structural response due to record-to-record and set-to-set variability (i.e., intra-set and inter-set scatter, respectively). The results confirm that many of the observations found in the literature regarding the effect of ground motion selection on the predicted seismic performance of SDOF systems are also valid for bi-directionally excited, multi-storey, irregular buildings. Finally, the results also highlight specific limitations of the EC8 provisions that may lead to erroneous results in many practical cases.  相似文献

A procedure to estimate the seismic motion at the base of a building from measured acceleration response at two or more floors is presented. The proposed method is comprised of two steps. In the first step, the dynamic characteristics of the building are inferred by using an output‐only system identification procedure. In the second step, the motion of the base of the building is estimated by using the transfer function of a simplified building model consisting of a shear and flexural continuous beam together with dynamic properties obtained in the first step. The proposed method is validated first with an analytical model subjected to the 1940 El Centro ground motion and then with an instrumented building in California that experienced the 1994 Northridge earthquake, and the ground motions at the base of the building are available. It is shown that the proposed method is capable of providing very good estimates of the motion at the base. The use of the proposed method is finally illustrated on an instrumented building, where the sensor at the base of the building did not function during the 1994 Northridge earthquake. Accurate estimation of the peak seismic responses of structures is important in earthquake resistant design. The internal force distributions and the seismic responses of structures are quite complex, since ground motions are multi- directional. One key issue is the uncertainty of the incident angle between the directions of ground motion and the reference axes of the structure. Different assumed seismic incidences can result in different peak values within the scope of design spectrum analysis for a given structure and earthquake ground motion record combination. Using time history analysis to determine the maximum structural responses excited by a given earthquake record requires repetitive calculations to determine the critical incident angle. This paper presents a transformation approach for relatively accurate and rapid determination of the maximum peak responses of a linear structure subjected to three-dimensional excitations within all possible seismic incident angles. The responses can be deformations, internal forces, strains and so on. An irregular building structure model is established using SAP2000 program. Several typical earthquake records and an artifi cial white noise are applied to the structure model to illustrate the variation of the maximum structural responses for different incident angles. Numerical results show that for many structural parameters, the variation can be greater than 100%. This method can be directly applied to time history analysis of structures using existing computer software to determine the peak responses without carrying out the analyses for all possible incident angles. It can also be used to verify and/or modify aseismic designs by using response spectrum analysis.  相似文献

本文建立了三维正交地震动多点激励下大跨度空间网格结构的随机地震反应分析方法,依据现行抗震设计规范的有关规定,确定了平稳随机地震动功率谱密度的模型参数。数值仿真分析了一柱距80m的正方形平板网架分别在一维地震动或三维地震动的一致激励、行波激励和考虑部分相干效应的随机激励下的地震反应。结果表明:考虑地震动的空间效应会很大程度地改变结构杆件的内力,其中控制杆件的内力增幅达到30%;地震动的行波效应对结构杆件内力的影响比随机地震动的部分相干效应的影响更大;三维地震作用比一维地震作用下结构杆件的内力大。由此得出结论,对于大跨度空间网格结构,必须进行多维多点地震激励下的随机地震反应分析。  相似文献
