By introducing the Dirac δ-function and Pauli exclusion principle in the presence of superstrong magnetic fields(SMFs), we investigate the influence of SMFs on beta decay and the change rates of electron fraction(CREF) of nuclides~(56)Fe,~(62)Ni,~(64)Ni and~(68)Ni in magnetars, which are powered by magnetic field energy. We find that the magnetic fields have a great influence on the beta decay rates, and the beta decay rates can decrease by more than six orders of magnitude in the presence of SMFs. The CREF also decreases by more than seven orders of magnitude in the presence of SMFs.  相似文献

We present simultaneous observations of 12CO,13CO and C18O J=1-0 emission in 11 nearby(cz<1000 km s-1) bright infrared galaxies.Both 12CO and 13CO are detected in the centers of all the galaxies,except for 13CO in NGC 3031. Based on the theory of relativity, the assumption of a superstrong magnetic field (SMF), and the shell model, the neutrino energy loss (NEL) rates of nuclides 56Fe, 56Co, 56Ni, 56Mn, 56Cr, and 56V by electron capture are investigated in the range of magnetic fields from 1013 G to 1018 G in magnetars. We also discuss the rates of change of the electron fraction (RCEF) in SMF and compare our results in SMF with those of FFN and Nabi, which is for the case without SMF. The results show that the NEL rates are increased greatly and even exceed by eight orders of magnitude in SMF. The RCEF are decreased largely and even exceed by seven orders of magnitude in SMF. On the other hand, our calculated NEL rates with SMF are larger by seven orders of magnitude than FFN’s at B=1018 G, and even by eight orders of magnitude compared to Nabi’s.  相似文献

采用高斯修正法,研究了核素~(56)Fe、~(56)Co、~(56)Ni和~(56)Mn电子俘获过程中微子能量损失.结果表明:对核素的Gamow-Teller(G-T)共振跃迁能级分布的高斯修正使中微子能量损失率增加.在低能跃迁电子俘获过程为主导地位的反应中,高斯修正对中微子能量损失的影响很小,而对高能G-T共振跃迁为主要的电子俘获过程的中微子能量损失的影响将大大增加.如核素~(56)Fe在密度ρ_7=100(ρ_7以10~7 mol·cm~(-3)为单位),高斯函数半宽度△=14.3,18.3,22.3 Mev时,修正差异大约达2个数量级,核素~(56)Ni在△=6.3,18.3Mev差异分别达60%和40%.  相似文献

应用塞曼效应和多普勒冷却的理论,结合实验条件计算了87Sr原子束塞曼减速器的磁场.数值模拟给出了磁场线圈的层数、圈数、供电电流和其他参数,并据此制作了纺锤状线圈.测量结果表明,研制的纺锤状线圈的轴向磁场满足87Sr光晶格钟实验的要求.  相似文献

The ~2490 Ma DS4 impact layer in the Dales Gorge Member is the only bed in the Brockman Iron Formation (Hamersley Group, Western Australia) known to contain “splash form” impact spherules. At a newly discovered site in Munjina Gorge (MG), the internal stratigraphy of the DS4 impact layer differs from previously known occurrences; it ranges from 36 to 57 cm in total thickness and consists of two distinct subunits. The lower subunit contains abundant cobble‐ to boulder‐scale intraclasts and spherules supported by a finer matrix. We interpret this subunit as the product of poorly cohesive debris flows. The upper subunit is 11–15 cm of low‐density turbidites. The DS4 layer also consists of two newly recognized subunits at Yampire Gorge (YG). The lower subunit is rich in well‐sorted spherules, 0–22 cm thick, and comprises an unstratified bedform with an irregular or swaley upper surface. This is overlain by 2 dm‐scale, fine‐grained, irregularly laminated beds that we interpret as low density turbidites laterally equivalent to the upper subunit at MG. The bedform at YG could be the lateral equivalent of the debrite at MG, genetically related to the overlying turbidites, or a product of impact tsunami‐induced bottom return flow. Other DS4 layer sites that have debrites similar to the one at MG are geographically separated from one another by sites that both lack debrite facies and feature well‐sorted spherules like YG. These characteristics suggest the DS4 layer had a complex depositional history that generated multiple debrites.  相似文献

Results of the first polarimetric observations of Centaurs (5145) Pholus and (10199) Chariklo, and new observations of (2060) Chiron are presented together with the estimates of their absolute magnitudes. Observations were carried out at the 8 m ESO Very Large Telescope in 2007-2008. They revealed noticeable negative polarization in the phase-angle range 0.5-4.4° with a minimum varying from −1% to −2.1% in the R band. All three objects show diverse polarization phase-angle behaviour, each distinctly different from that of transneptunian objects. We found evidence of surface heterogeneity for Chariklo while Chiron and Pholus appear to have rather homogeneous surfaces. Polarization phase behaviours of Chiron and Pholus are significantly different from any other Solar System bodies studied so far. A shift of negative polarization minima toward small phase angles seems to be a characteristic feature of polarization properties of Centaurs. Presence of a small amount of water frost on a dark surface is considered as one of the possible ways to explain these properties.  相似文献

Three selected asteroids, numbered 58, 360 and405, were observed during 2000at Yunnan Observatory, China. Thenew lightcurves are presented inthis paper. The synodic period of (58)Concordia is estimated as 9.90 ± 0.01hfor the first time. The synodic period of (405) Thia derived from ourobservation is 9.96 ± 0.01h, which is slightly different from the previousresult. For 360, we obtained the synodic period of 6.18 ± 0.02h which isconsistent with previous values. Additionally, the BV and UB-colourindexes for the three asteriods were also determined.  相似文献

The results of photometric observations of (87) Sylvia, 2006 VV2, (90) Antiopa, and (39) Laetitia asteroids in 2006–2008 are presented. The specific features of light curves are considered for each object. In particular, for asteroid (87) Sylvia, possible mutual phenomena in this triple system are identified. Asteroid 2006 VV2 manifests a strong dependence of the light curve on the filter color, which testifies to the presence of inhomogeneities on its surface. The previously unknown brightness variation period with a duration of about three days was obtained for this asteroid. For binary asteroid (90) Antiopa, the strong dependence of its brightness on the phase angle was noticed; this may testify to the very flattened shape of its components. Considerable time variations of the shape of the light curve for asteroid (39) Laetitia may testify either to its complex shape or to its binary character.  相似文献

The authors of this paper try to disentangle the many problems arisen from a new enlarged sample of nearby low-mass,metal-rich-stars. These stars have reliable absolute magnitudes, deduced from Hipparcos parallaxes, precise bolometric corrections, effective temperatures and metal abundances from high resolution detailed spectroscopic analyses. Their ages have been derived from a grid of isochrones calculated with up to date physics. The main goal of this paper is to determine the ages of the slightly evolved SMR stars. Among those with well determinated ages about 80% of them have intermediate ages of (2 to 5 Gyr), but only 20% have ages of 8 Gyr or more. Nevertheless, the existence of very old metal-rich stars is confirmed. This revised version was published online in July 2006 with corrections to the Cover Date.  相似文献

Photoelectric observations of six asteroids are presented. The following synodic periods of rotation and amplitudes of variation are reported: 42 Isis, P = 13h.59, Δm = 0.32; 45 Eugenia, P = 5h.70, Δm = 0.30; 56 Melete, P = 13h.7 or 19h.0, Δm = 0.06; 532 Herculina, P = 9h.408, Δm = 0.15; 558 Carmen, P ≈ 10h, Δm ≈ 0.25. The asteroid 103 Hera exhibited no periodic variation in excess of about 0.03 magnitude. The period found for 532 Herculina is one half that previously reported by other observers.  相似文献
