In this paper, the configuration and working mechanism of the recently developed double spherical seismic isolation (DSSI) bearing are introduced in detail. Then, vertical displacement of the DSSI bearing due to sliding on a spherical surface is analyzed. The results from seismic performance testing of the bearing are given, and a numerical analysis of a four span continuous girder bridge is performed. The numerical analysis compares the influence of three different bearing arrangement schemes on the structural seismic response, and the results show that the DSSI bearing is effective in increasing the vertical load bearing capacity, reducing the vertical displacement, and controlling the energy dissipation capacity within a certain range. 相似文献

为研究强地震作用下,桥台及台后土体对斜交连续梁桥抗震作用的影响。以一座三跨连续斜交箱梁桥为依托,应用sap2000建立不同斜度的模型,针对有、无桥台两种工况,采用非线性时程分析方法,研究了纵向不同地震动强度输入下,桥台及台后土体作用对不同斜度的连续梁桥主梁和桥墩位移的影响规律,并对桥墩的延性性能进行分析。研究结果表明:桥台及台后土体的存在会抑制主梁的纵向位移,大大增加主梁梁端的横向位移,地震动幅值越大,这种作用越明显;桥台及台后土体作用会减小墩顶纵向位移和墩底纵向弯矩,降低桥墩纵向位移延性需求,提高桥墩纵向安全性,斜交角越大,该影响效果越小;桥台作用对桥墩的横向反应几乎无影响。建议在桥梁抗震设计时应考虑桥台以及台后土体的作用,并针对不同斜度的连续梁桥采取相应的抗震措施,以提高其抗震性能。 相似文献

A roller seismic isolation bearing is proposed for use in highway bridges. The bearing utilizes a rolling mechanism to achieve seismic isolation and has a zero post‐elastic stiffness under horizontal ground motions, a self‐centering capability, and unique friction devices for supplemental energy dissipation. The objectives of this research are to investigate the seismic behavior of the proposed bearing using parametric studies (1) with nonlinear response history analysis and (2) with equivalent linear analysis according to the AASHTO guide specifications, and by comparing the results from both analysis methods (3) to evaluate the accuracy of the AASHTO equivalent linear method for predicting the peak displacement of the proposed bearing during an earthquake. Twenty‐eight ground motions are used in the studies. The parameters examined are the sloping angle of the intermediate plate of the bearing, the amount of friction force for supplemental energy dissipation, and the peak ground acceleration levels of the ground motions. The peak displacement and base shear of the bearing are calculated. Results of the studies show that a larger sloping angle does not reduce the peak displacement for most of the parametric combinations without friction devices. However, for parametric combinations with friction devices, it allows for the use of a higher friction force, which effectively reduces the peak displacement, while keeping a self‐centering capability. The AASHTO equivalent linear method may underestimate the peak displacement by as much as 40%. 本文以高烈度区的某三跨连续梁桥为例,分别采用基础隔震和消能减震两种措施进行结构的减震分析;针对隔震结构减震效果好但主梁位移过大的特点,提出了在采用铅芯橡胶隔震支座的同时设置粘滞阻尼器的减震方案,其非线性时程分析结果表明,该方案能有效地降低结构的地震反应,可供工程实践参考。 相似文献

Elastomeric isolation bearings consist of multiple rubber layers with their top and bottom surfaces bonded to steel plates to restrict compressive deformation. Deformation constraints result in a variation of elastic modulus over the cross section of the rubber layers. In this paper, we describe a normalized compression modulus distribution on a circular rubber pad. The compressive and bending moduli of the rubber pad can be reproduced by applying the distribution to a series of axial springs. We also present a mechanical model for predicting the behavior of elastomeric seismic isolation bearings subject to large shear deformation and high compressive load. The mechanical model consists of a series of multiple shear springs at midheight and a series of axial springs at the top and bottom interfaces of the bearing. Simulation analyses of bearing tests were conducted to validate the proposed model. The analyses demonstrated that a model for circular lead-rubber bearings can successfully capture the influence of the axial load magnitude on the bearing shear behavior. The new model can simulate much more realistic behavior than prior models based on a uniform modulus assumption. 相似文献

针对城市桥梁采用的独柱墩连续梁桥具有的缺点,提出了采用两跨T形刚构桥梁的结构形式。利用非线性时程分析方法,考虑钢筋混凝土桥墩材料的非线性,对两种桥梁结构在纵向地震动作用下的非线性地震反应行为进行了分析,得到了两种桥梁结构桥墩的弯矩、剪力、位移以及塑性铰转角时程。结果表明,在同一地震动作用下,T形刚构桥墩所受弯矩小于连续梁,所受剪力大于连续梁,桥墩塑性铰的转角远小于连续梁。因此,在同等损伤程度和保证桥墩抗剪能力的情况下,T形刚构比连续梁能够承受更强的地震。 相似文献

结合长联大跨连续梁桥的特点,以1座(65+123+156+123+10×90+55)m长联大跨摩擦摆支座隔震连续梁桥为背景,建立了全桥三维有限元模型,运用非线性时程分析法,分析了地震动输入模式、地震动强度、摩擦摆支座参数对该桥内力、位移和能量响应的影响。研究结果表明:(1)长联大跨连续梁桥布置摩擦摆支座,可有效延滞固定墩顶有效主梁质量效应,实现全桥协同抗震。大部分地震能量可通过支座滞回耗能散耗,大幅降低了该桥固定墩地震能量耗散需求。(2)长联大跨连续梁桥减隔震设计中,建议采用水平单向+竖向地震组合进行内力设计,采用三向地震组合进行位移设计。(3)强震作用下,支座摩擦因数取0.029~0.034时该桥隔震性能最优。 相似文献

为了提高中小跨径简支梁桥的抗震能力,促进多级抗震设计思想的完善,以汶川地震中的寿江大桥为背景,构建了支座-挡块-桥墩相互作用分析模型,采用增量动力分析(IDA)方法,以挡块强度和墩高作为变化参数,研究了支座滑移、挡块限位和桥墩塑性三者之间抗震性能状态的耦合关系。研究表明:提高挡块强度可有效地控制支座的滑移,但会增大桥墩的曲率延性系数,且桥墩越矮,曲率延性系数增长越快;随着挡块强度的变化,支座滑移比的变化幅度明显大于桥墩曲率延性系数;随着墩高的增大,挡块的相对限位能力会提高;对于中小跨径简支梁桥而言,理想的抗震状态为:允许挡块破坏,使得支座出现小幅滑移,桥墩出现可修复的塑性损伤。因此,在挡块设计中,可优先考虑支座的限位效果,再综合考虑桥墩的地震响应,当桥墩为矮墩时,挡块的设计强度不可过大。 相似文献

For the purpose of predicting the large‐displacement response of seismically isolated buildings, an analytical model for elastomeric isolation bearings is proposed. The model comprises shear and axial springs and a series of axial springs at the top and bottom boundaries. The properties of elastomeric bearings vary with the imposed vertical load. At large shear deformations, elastomeric bearings exhibit stiffening behavior under low axial stress and buckling under high axial stress. These properties depend on the interaction between the shear and axial forces. The proposed model includes interaction between shear and axial forces, nonlinear hysteresis, and dependence on axial stress. To confirm the validity of the model, analyses are performed for actual static loading tests of lead–rubber isolation bearings. The results of analyses using the new model show very good agreement with the experimental results. Seismic response analyses with the new model are also conducted to demonstrate the behavior of isolated buildings under severe earthquake excitations. 为研究近断层地震动对曲线连续梁桥地震响应及碰撞效应的影响,采用非线性时程分析法,分别研究脉冲效应、上盘效应及方向性效应对某三跨曲线连续梁桥支座位移、桥墩内力及邻梁间碰撞力的影响;通过支座隔震率的对比分析,探究不同类型近断层地震动下地震响应产生差异的原因。研究结果表明:脉冲效应、上盘效应和方向性效应均会增大曲线连续梁桥地震响应,脉冲效应的影响尤为显著;脉冲效应和方向性效应削弱了高阻尼橡胶支座的隔震特性,而上盘效应对桥梁响应的影响仅与上盘地震动自身特性有关;综合来看,脉冲效应对曲线梁碰撞响应影响最明显,上盘效应影响不大。 相似文献

During past strong earthquakes, highway bridges have sustained severe damage or even collapse due to excessive displacements and/or very large lateral forces. For commonly used isolation bearings with a pure friction sliding surface, seismic forces may be reduced but displacements are often unconstrained. In this paper, an alternative seismic bearing system, called the cable-sliding friction bearing system, is developed by integrating seismic isolation devices with displacement restrainers consisting of cables attached to the upper and lower plates of the bearing. Restoring forces are provided to limit the displacements of the sliding component. Design parameters including the length and stiffness of the cables, friction coefficient, strength of the shear bolt in a fixed-type bearing, and movements under earthquake excitations are discussed. Laboratory testing of a prototype bearing subjected to vertical loads and quasi-static cyclic lateral loads, and corresponding numerical finite element simulation analysis, were carried out. It is shown that the numerical simulation shows good agreement with the experimental force-displacement hysteretic response, indicating the viability of the new bearing system. In addition, practical application of this bearing system to a multi-span bridge in China and its design advantages are discussed. 相似文献

钢-混凝土组合连续刚构桥的关键在于墩梁连接节点,设计了双层钢箱混凝土、钢筋混凝土和钢管混凝土等3种不同类型墩柱的连接节点构造形式。基于OpenSees平台建立了墩柱截面纤维有限元模型,并利用双层钢箱混凝土墩柱拟静力试验结果验证了数值模型的有效性,进而基于纤维有限元模型对3种不同类型墩柱节点进行了非线性滞回性能计算分析。结果表明:纤维模型能够模拟拟静力作用下组合连续刚构桥墩梁连接的滞回性能,双层钢箱混凝土墩柱与钢箱-混凝土组合梁连接节点的整体抗震性能要优于钢筋混凝土墩柱和实心钢管混凝土墩柱与钢箱-混凝土组合梁的连接节点,建议的刚性节点构造合理和传力路径明确,可为钢-混凝土组合连续刚构桥设计提供参考。 相似文献

为完善大跨长联连续梁桥的减震和隔震技术,提出将负刚度装置引入某带有摩擦摆支座隔震的大跨长联连续梁桥中组成新型减震和隔震系统。基于CSIBridge软件建立全桥有限元模型,负刚度装置采用弹性多段线模拟,摩擦摆支座采用双线性恢复力模型,输入7条地震波进行了非线性时程分析,考查了新型减震和隔震系统下桥梁结构的地震反应,探究了负刚度系统对大跨长联隔震连续梁桥地震反应的影响。研究结果表明:在大跨长联隔震连续梁桥上布置负刚度装置后,梁体加速度及支座位移可被有效降低,近场地震动下的墩底内力也有明显减小。负刚度装置可有效提高大跨长联摩擦摆支座连续梁桥的抗震性能,负刚度装置也适用于大跨长联隔震连续梁桥。 相似文献

In this paper, the effect of lead core heating and associated strength deterioration on the seismic response of bridges isolated with lead rubber bearings (LRB) is investigated as a function of the characteristics of the isolator and near fault ground motions with forward rupture directivity effect. Furthermore, the ability of bounding analyses to provide a design envelope for maximum isolator force and maximum isolator displacement is verified. For this purpose, a series of nonlinear dynamic analyses are conducted for LRB isolated bridges where both deteriorating and non‐deteriorating force‐deformation relationship of LRB were employed. The analyses are performed for both simulated and recorded ground motions. It is found that while the temperature rise in the lead core generally increases with increasing magnitude and number of near fault ground motion velocity pulses, it decreases with larger distances from the fault. It is also found that bounding analysis method provides conservative (envelope) estimates of maximum isolator displacement and maximum isolator force for design purposes that fulfill its intended purpose. In this study, a series of shaking table tests are carried out on scaled models of two seismically isolated highway bridges to investigate the effect of rocking motion and vertical acceleration on seismic performance of resilient sliding isolators. In addition, performance of RSI is compared with system having solely natural rubber bearings. Test results show that variation of normal force on sliders due to rocking effect and vertical acceleration makes no significant difference in response of RSI systems. In addition, analytical response of prototype isolated bridge and the model used in experiments is obtained analytically by using non‐linear model for isolation systems. It is observed that for seismically isolated bridges, dynamic response of full‐scale complex structures can be predicted with acceptable accuracy by experiments using a simple model of the structure.
