Geochemical, magnetic mineral analyses and microfossils (radiolarians) are used to characterise a Holocene laminated sequence from the Alfonso Basin, northern Bay of La Paz, southern Gulf of California. In most cases, dark and light laminae show similar bulk chemical compositions and magnetic mineral properties. However, dark laminae contain relatively more terrigenous elements (Al, Si, Fe, K and Mg) supporting a pluvial origin related to the volcanic siliceous tuffs around the Bay of La Paz. In light laminae, calcium content is higher, representing biogenic input. The magnetic signal is dominated by low coercivity, fine‐grained low‐titanium titanomagnetites and magnetite. Hysteresis ratio parameters in domain state plots show that samples fall in the pseudo‐single domain field, indicating mixtures of single‐ and multi‐domain particles. Variations in hysteresis saturation magnetisation parameters for dark and light laminae reflect changes in relative mineral concentration. Results indicate a dominant volcanic source for magnetic minerals into the basin, associated with variable pluvial and/or aeolian transport. Low radiolarian abundance in dark laminae seems to be associated with larger penetration and longer residence time of oligotrophic subtropical waters into the bay that occurred during El Niño–Southern Oscillation (ENSO) events. Light laminae are the result of episodic pulses of high productivity. We suggest that dark/light laminae result from oceanographic and climatic cyclic processes, with main terrigenous input variation possibly associated with ENSO forcing of pluvial influx, and/or latitudinal migration of the Intertropical Convergence Zone. The laminated sequence of the Alfonso Basin formed a non‐annual depositional system, in contrast to the varved sediments characteristic of the central Gulf of California basins. 湖泊年纹层是进行高分辨率古气候环境研究的重要载体之一,其形成机理的研究能够为高分辨率古气候环境信息的提取提供重要的依据。本文以青藏高原北部可可西里库赛湖沉积的年纹层为研究对象,通过纹层薄片显微镜观察,以及纹层的扫描电镜、X衍射和同步辐射X射线荧光等微区分析,对库赛湖沉积年纹层的形态、沉积和成分特征进行了研究,以探讨库赛湖年纹层形成过程和机理。结果表明:年纹层层偶由深浅相间的微层组成,深色层主要由灰褐色—黑褐色的粗颗粒物质组成,磨圆中等、分选性差,矿物以石英、长石、白云母、黏土矿物等为主,其中石英含量占73%左右,且具有明显的风力搬运特征;浅色层呈灰白色,矿物颗粒较细,除石英、长石、白云母、黏土外,还有自生的文石,同时浅色层中含有大量的枝角类碎片和半月形介形类生物壳体。研究认为,库赛湖冬季温度低、风力强劲,风的机械搬运作用使大量的陆源物质在冰面堆积,等到春季湖泊开封,冰面上粗颗粒物质沉积到湖底形成库赛湖年纹层的深色层(粗颗粒层);夏季温度升高,冰雪融化,降水增加,河流搬运的陆源粗颗粒物质由于重力作用先在湖泊边缘沉积,而黏土矿物等细颗粒物质则在湖泊中心沉积,同时夏季湖水温度升高,蒸发作用加强,生物活动增强,湖泊自身的生物、化学作用加强,从而形成以细碎屑矿物、生物残体、自生碳酸盐沉积为主的浅色层(细颗粒层)。因此,库赛湖的年纹层层偶是由冬季冰面风成物质形成的粗颗粒深色层(冰融化后,风成物质沉降至湖底堆积)和夏季沉积的细颗粒浅色层两者交替而形成的。  相似文献

Seasonal and annual pollen deposition over an eight-year period (1981-89) in the snow layers of the Agassiz Ice Cap, Ellesmere Island, was investigated. The annual and seasonal layers were determined from the snow stratigraphy. Thirteen to thirty-five kg were sampled for each layer. Most of the pollen grains deposited on the ice cap originate either from the high Arctic regional tundra, or from the boreal forest and low Arctic tundra over 1,000 km to the south. The regional pollen types show large variations throughout the year and the maximum concentration is normally found in the late summer-early autumn snow. The exotic types usually show less seasonal variation, although with slight maximum in the spring or summer layers. The annual regional and exotic pollen influx to the ice cap can be highly variable. These variations are tentatively related to climatic parameters.  相似文献

Small (5–30 μm) aggregates of aragonite needles occur in calcite crystal crusts of present day hot water slope travertines at Rapolano Terme in Tuscany, Italy. The aggregates are mainly concentrated in irregular, wispy and dark laminae which cross-cut calcite crystal feathers to create a pervasive millimetre scale banded appearance in the deposit; they also occur less commonly scattered irregularly through the calcite layers. The aragonite needle aggregates are in the form of crosses, fascicles (sheaf shaped bundles, or dumbbell shaped), rosettes and spherulites. Locally, irregular masses of needles also occur. The fascicles, rosettes and spherulites have hollow centres which resemble microbial components (?fungal spores, bacterial colonies and pollen), suggesting that the aragonite crystals are biotically nucleated. The lamination is interpreted to reflect diurnal control. Stimulation of microbial activity during daylight concentrates cells in laminae and promotes aragonite calcification. Calcite feather crystals, although traversed by the aragonite aggregate laminae, have a clear appearance under the light microscope. They form more or less continuously through the diurnal cycle by abiotic precipitation. The constant association of aragonite with organic nuclei, irrespective of whether the latter are in laminae or scattered through the calcite layers, supports a biotic control on aragonite formation. Lamination in Pleistocene travertines is superficially similar to that in the present day deposits, but is diagenetically altered. In the Pleistocene deposits, the calcite feathers appear dark under the light microscope and the aragonite aggregates, where they are not altered to dark calcite, are dissolved, together with parts of the adjacent spar calcite, and therefore appear light coloured.  相似文献

The seasonal patterns ofAscophyllum nodosum (L.) Le Jolis tissue composition (N, C and ash) and ambient inorganic N were measured for 18 months at seven sites throughout the Great Bay Estuary System, New Hampshire-Maine, U.S.A. Overall, the seasonal cycle of tissue N coincided with ambient dissolved inorganic N, with low values in the late spring and summer and highest values in late fall and winter. even so, a pronounced lag occurred in the spring when ambient nutrients decreased, and the levels of tissue N remained high. The seasonal patterns of tissue N were very similar throughout the estuary, although the spring maxima were conspicuously greater at inner than outer estuarine sites. No conspicuous seasonal trend was apparent for tissue C, and the C/N ratios merely reflected variation in N. The percent ash values were extremely variable, and they did not reflect a simple salinity gradient within the Estuary. Two examples of the potential significance ofAscophyllum to the nitrogen pools in northern New England estuaries are discussed.  相似文献

纹泥反映了湖相沉积物中特有的沉积韵律,是气候的季节变化和年际变化的产物。山西榆社张村地区上新世晚期的湖心相沉积中发育了极为完好的纹泥剖面。纹泥深浅相间形成清晰的纹理,分别代表夏秋和冬春。一深一浅组成一对,代表一年。纹泥层的单层厚度平均为0.12~0.25mm/条,薄者<0.1mm/条,厚者可达0.3mm/条。暗色纹泥层的厚度大于浅色纹泥层。暗色纹泥的有机质含量丰富,木本植物孢粉占优势,同时CaO的含量低;浅色纹泥恰好相反。湖相纹泥具有建立高分辨率时间标尺和环境演化序列的特殊优越条件。  相似文献

In a small meromictic lake near Toronto, Canada, a mass mortality of photosynthetic bacteria followed the ventilation of the chemocline during fall (autumn) and resulted in 3–8 g m-2 day-1 of organic matter being deposited as a dark layer in sediment traps which were suspended in the permanently anaerobic zone. This mass mortality of photosynthetic bacteria occurred in late autumn following the annual thermal destratification of the lake's mixolimnion. Wind mixing during this period of homeothermy resulted in the introduction of low levels of dissolved oxygen into the lake's chemocline. The ensuing mass mortality of photosynthetic bacteria resulted in the release of elemental sulphur as the sulphur-rich bacteria decomposed and sank to the bottom of the lake. The ferrous ions in the water below a depth of 15 m in Crawford Lake reacted with this sulphur to form black ferrous sulphides and pyrite which formed a dark microlamina on the lake floor. Each dark microlamina was overlain by a light coloured (calcite-rich) layer which was deposited each spring and summer during the 3 yr period of this study. The mechanism of microlamina formation elucidated here has been based on the examination of bi-weekly sediment trap information. This approach has permitted an explanation of the mechanisms by which specific events such as calcite precipitation and phytoplankton seasonal succession are transcribed into the sediment record.  相似文献

Bacterially-mediated authigenesis of clays in phosphate stromatolites   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
Authigenic clays in close textural relation to carbonate fluorapatite within finely laminated phosphate stromatolites of Upper Jurassic age have been studied using scanning electron microscopy (SEM), transmission electron microscopy (TEM) and analytical electron microscopy (AEM). Stromatolite laminae consist of hexagonal prisms of francolite (sizes ranging between 0·1 and 1 μm) that are surrounded by poorly crystalline smectite and amorphous Fe–Si–Al oxyhydroxides. Microanalyses show that smectite is Fe rich, with highly variable composition, particularly regarding Fe and Si contents. Smectite has significant beidellitic, montmorillonitic and non-tronitic substitutions. Although the lack of fringe contrast in some areas adjacent to the smectite packets with 1·0–1·3 nm spacing is due to differences in orientation of layers, textural and analytical data clearly indicate the presence of Fe–Si–Al amorphous phases intimately intergrown with smectite. The occurrence of poorly crystalline smectite and associated amorphous phases within microbially precipitated stromatolite laminae, both as envelopes around, and as pore-fillings between extremely small calcium phosphate crystals, demonstrates authigenic smectite growth from a precursor Fe–Si–Al amorphous material. This material is formed in close association with a phosphate-rich precursor. The textural and structural relations, the preservation of chemical precursors of glauconite such as nontronitic montmorillonite, and the presence of Fe–Si–Al amorphous mineral phases, imply crystallization of the observed crystalline phases from synsedimentary (bacterially precipitated) amorphous precursors during early diagenesis in postoxic environments. Carbonate fluorapatite was the first phase to crystallize from the primary gel; smectite and associated amorphous Fe–Si–Al oxyhydroxides were the residual material of the crystallization process. The slow rate of transformation (at low temperatures) from Fe–Si–Al-rich gels to smectite, explains the textural relations between the poorly crystalline phases and the phosphate crystals, as well as the preservation of amorphous substances in relation to clays. Authigenic smectite represents the first step in glauconitization.  相似文献

During the 14-month collection period,Hemicyclops always appeared as naupliar stages andSaphirella as immature copepodite stages at 3 stations in the middle and lower estuary.Hemicyclops nauplii were abundant during late spring and summer, with a seasonal maximum of 7448/m3 in late spring at the upstream station.Saphirella stages were observed throughout the year, but higher population densities generally occurred in the summer and fall; the highest density was 3413/m3. Both species were usually more abundant upstream than downstream. The larvae may be life stages of a single bottom-dwelling species,Hemicyclops adhaerens.  相似文献

The Antarctic Peninsula is one of the most sensitive regions of Antarctica to climate change. Here, ecological and cryospheric systems respond rapidly to climate fluctuations. A 4.4 m thick laminated diatom ooze deposited during the last deglaciation is examined from a marine sediment core (ODP Site 1098) recovered from Basin I, Palmer Deep, western Antarctic Peninsula. This deglacial laminated interval was deposited directly over a glaciomarine diamict, hence during a globally recognised period of rapid climate change. The ultra‐high‐resolution deglacial record is analysed using SEM backscattered electron imagery and secondary electron imagery. Laminated to thinly bedded orange‐brown diatom ooze (near monogeneric Hyalochaete Chaetoceros spp. resting spores) alternates with blue‐grey terrigenous sediments (open water diatom species). These discrete laminae are interpreted as austral spring and summer signals respectively, with negligible winter deposition. Sub‐seasonal sub‐laminae are observed repeatedly through the summer laminae, suggesting variations in shelf waters throughout the summer. Tidal cycles, high storm intensities and/or intrusion of Circumpolar Deep Water onto the continental shelf introduced conditions which enhanced specific species productivity through the season. A 10-cm long section from varved sequence of Lake Nautajärvi, Finland, has been analysed using both X-ray densitometry and image analysis of Backscattered Scanning Electron microscope Images (BSEI) of thin sections. Lake Nautajärvi's clastic-organi c varves appear in X-ray images as a succession of dark and pale stripes, pale ones being the spring detrital minerogenic layers and dark ones organic matter laid down during the time of summer, autumn and winter ice cover. Owing to the sharp contrast of the minerogenic spring layer, a semiautomatic tree-ring width and density measurement DendroScan system was applied to obtain seasonal/annual data of relative X-ray density. Mean density of BSEI was also acquired. Then BSEI were processed to produce black and white images, where white pixels represent the clay-rich sedimentary matrix and black pixels the particles in the matrix: silt- or sand-sized, terrigenous grains, authigenic particles and diatoms. Measurements of the size of the detrital particles forming the varves were obtained. For each varve, mean grey-level values in BSEI correlated well with the mean grey-level values of X-ray images, but grain size obtained on BSEI did not correlate with any parameters computed from X-ray radiography.  相似文献

The phosphatic stromatolite discussed in this paper is a columnar type, comprised chiefly of collophane and subordinately of microcrystalline apatite. The column is composed of alternations of dark, cryptocrystalline laminae formed by the biological processes of algae and bacteria, and light, microcrystalline laminae formed by chemical precipitation. The intercolumnar filler, showing a concave anti-stromatolitic structure, is composed of alternations of loose laminae formed by mechanical deposition, and dense, crypto-, microerystalline laminae formed by chemical precipitation and algal bacterial organic process.Under the SEM, the column differs clearly from the intercolumnar filler in ultramicro-fabric. The three basic types of ultramicro-laminae that can be distinguished in the column are: prismatic apatite laminae of chemical origin, elastic apatite laminae of mechanical origin and branched-tubular apatite laminae of algal-bacterial origin, of which the first and second categories constitute light laminae and the third, dark laminae. The dark and light laminae were formed during the alternation of flourishing and dormant periods of algae and bacteria.Under the SEM. the clastic texture is obvious in the loose laminae of the intercolumnar filler. Andfour types of ultramicro-apatite assemblages can be distinguished in the dense laminae, i. e., the framboidal and the tubular apatite of algal-bacterial origin, the framboidal-prismatic and the framboidaltubular-prismatic apatite of chemical organic origin. The alternation of the loose and the dense laminae depends upon the changes of the energy in the water.In the stromatolites, no replacement phenomena have been found and there exists abundant prismatic apatite kept in the initial form of upward-crystallization, and especially, in the forms of algae and bacteria(framboidal, tubular and branched). All these undoubtedly indicate that the stromatolites were originally formed by algae and bacteria.The ultramicro-fabric features indicate that the collophane is not a simple mineral, but a disorderly arranged aggregateof ultramicro-granular apatite.  相似文献

The goal of this study was to develop a method for extracting quantitative annual records of diatoms and other microfossils from sediments that are resistant to existing varve-counting methods because of their variable, complex, or indistinct laminations. Very linely laminated organic sediments from a deep diamictic lake in central Minnesota, USA were collected by freeze-core, dehydrated by solvent exchange, embedded with epoxy, and petrographically thin-sectioned. Diatom frustules and pollen grains were counted in contiguous 400 pm microscope fields-of-view and used to construct a sediment chronology. The concentration of diatoms in the sediment was cyclic and lowest in sediment deposited during summer. The concentration of pollen in the sediment was also cyclic and sediment deposited during the summer contained the highest concentrations of pollen and the highest percentages of ragweed ( Ambrosia spp.) pollen. The sediment chronology that was produced accurately records the onset of regional (c. 1850) and watershed ( c . 1880) development, a historic tornadic storm complex (1894), and individual drought years (1932, 1934 & 1935) within the 1930's drought.  相似文献

Turnagain Arm is a macrotidal fjord‐style estuary. Glacier Creek is a small, glacially fed stream which enters the estuary tangentially near Girdwood, Alaska. Trenches and daily sedimentation measurements were made in a mudflat along the fluvio–estuarine transition of Glacier Creek during several summers since 2003. Each year, the flats appear to erode during the winter and then accrete vertically in the spring and summer. In each of the years studied, tidal laminae in vertically thickening and thinning laminae bundles were deposited by twice daily tides in neap–spring tidal cycles. In 2004, bundles of thickening and thinning laminae couplets were noted in trenches cut into the flats. Five laminae bundles alternated between thicker and thinner bundles, corresponding to the perigean (high spring) and apogean (low spring) tides. Well‐preserved apogean–perigean cycles have rarely been documented in modern tidal flat sediments. At this location, vertical accretion of tidal rhythmites with well‐developed neap–spring cyclicity is possible because of the near‐complete removal of the flat from the previous year, which creates accommodation space for vertical accretion without significant reworking. Macrotidal conditions, no reworking by infaunal invertebrates, protection from the main tidal channel by a gravel bar and protection from storm waves and fluvial erosion by a recess in the sedge marsh that surrounds the flats all aid in preservation of rhythmites during aggradation. The position of the flats relative to tidal range allows for accumulation of complete spring cycles and incomplete neap cycles. In the summer of 2004, apogee and perigee were closely aligned with the new and full moons, resulting in successive strong perigee and apogee tides which probably aided in the accumulation of successive thick–thin spring cycles encoding the apogean and perigean tidal cycle. Measurements of O2, Fe(II), Mn(II)and HS5 in salt marshsediments in the Tagus Estuary, Portugal, made with a voltammetric microelectrode, reveal strong seasonal differences in pore water composition within the 20~cm deep root zone. In spring, oxygen was below detection limit except close to the sediment surface. Fe(II) was present below 5 cm in concentrations ranging from detection limit to 1700 M. In summer, oxygen was present in the pore water almost to the bottom of the root zone in concentrations ranging from detection limit to more than 100 M. The spatial variability was intense: O2 concentrations as high as 78 M and as low as 25 M existed within 2~mm of each other. Fe(II) was below detection limit except towards the bottom of the root zone. In late fall, oxygen was found to 8 cm depth, but in concentrations lower than in summer, and Fe(II) was present below 9 cm. Mn(II) was found at levels declining from typical values of 200 M in spring to less than 20 M in late fall. With one exception, sulfide was below the detection limit in all measurements. During periods when dissolved Fe(II) is available in the pore water at the same time as 2 is delivered by roots, iron-rich concretions can form on roots. These conditions, which lead to precipitation of iron oxide in the sediment adjacent to roots, exist in spring, when new roots infiltrate anoxic Fe(II) containing sediment. They do not exist in summer, when dissolved Fe(II) is unavailable, or in winter, when oxygen is unavailable. The seasonal redox pattern revealed by the pore water chemistry is driven by the annual cycle of growth and decay of roots.  相似文献

Macronutrients and micronutrients were measured during the phytoplankton bloom period and then seasonally monitored after the bloom in the polluted Izmir Bay. Iron and the macronutrients (phosphate, ammonium, nitrate, nitrite, and silicate) were abundant in the waters of the inner and middle sections of Izmir Bay. The iron concentration decreased exponentially from the eutrophic inner bay to the oligotrophic outer bay. Suboxic–anoxic processes and the resuspension dynamics in the sediment were the most important factor in the control of iron, ammonium, and phosphate enrichment in the bay beside the anthropogenic activities. The biological removal of Fe in the inner and middle bay and nonbiological removal in the outer bay were effective in controlling iron concentration in Izmir Bay. The nitrate, nitrite, and ammonium nitrogen (N) and Si decreased to critical levels in the middle and outer bay at the end of the summer as long as the concentration of phosphate was high. The N/P ratios in the bay suggested that N might be the controlling nutrient for phytoplankton growth particularly in the middle and outer bay throughout summer. Furthermore, Si was also able to have controlling impact probably on diatom growth during autumn and winter in the inner and middle bay and in the early spring in the outer bay. The N/Si/Chelex labile Fe ratios implied that the iron could be a critical controlling nutrient for phytoplankton growth during early April in the outer bay unless the other macronutrients were low.  相似文献

Alternation layered lake sediment that had accumulated over a period of 22 years, from 1990 to 2012, was collected from the Tamagawa Dam Lake, which is located in the northeastern part of Akita Prefecture. The lake water is acidified (pH = 4.1) by the inflow of high‐acidic thermal water (pH = 1.2) from the Obuki Hot Spring, the main hot spring in the Tamagawa Hot Spring area. The vertical variations in Si, Al, Fe, Ti, and Pb contents of the sediment were determined by XRF, EPMA, and LA‐ICP‐MS in order to clarify the sedimentation processes of the lake sediment. The layers consisting of the sediment could be mostly classified into three types: dark brown, yellowish brown, and reddish layers. The contents of Si, Al, Fe, and Ti corresponded to the variation in color of each layer in the sample. Based on the Si, Al, and Fe contents in the sediment of Tamagawa Dam Lake, the sources of these elements were classified as detrital origin in dark brown and yellowish brown layers (Si, Al, and Ti) and chemical precipitate origin in reddish layers (Fe). Detrital components were derived from volcanic rocks in the watershed of Tamagawa Dam Lake. The variation of Pb content did not accord with the color of layers. The content of Pb in the sediment of Tamagawa Dam Lake ranges from 45 to 522 ppm. The vertical variation of Pb content in sediment corresponded to the temporal variation of Pb content in thermal water from the Obuki Hot Spring from 1990 to 2012. A large influence of hydrothermal activity of the Tamagawa Hot Spring on the vertical distribution of Pb was found during the active period of the Obuki Hot Spring, resulting in high Pb content within layers at 5–8 cm from the bottom of the sample. T‐Fe2O3‐rich reddish layers were also found in this range. Therefore, it is assumed that T‐Fe2O3 and Pb originated from Obuki Hot Spring and precipitated in Tamagawa Dam Lake. However, no correlation was found between T‐Fe2O3 and Pb contents for any of the dark brown, yellowish brown, and reddish layers. Some layers with high Pb content were also found to have high SiO2 and Al2O3 contents. These findings indicate that there are several possibilities for the sedimentation process of Pb. The sedimentation of Pb as well as that of T‐Fe2O3 in Tamagawa Dam Lake provides a good example of the accumulation of elements by chemical precipitation away from the source of elements.  相似文献

应用宁夏气象台站1961-2010年逐候降水量序列资料, 计算了春、夏、秋季3个季降水的集中期、集中度和干旱Z指数, 运用趋势分析、相关分析、合成分析讨论了3季的集中期、集中度与旱涝程度的时空变化特征及其相互关系. 结果表明: 50 a来宁夏春夏秋干旱等级均呈加剧趋势, 秋季加剧更明显, 3季中中部干旱带加剧最严重, 南部山区次之, 北部最小. 春季集中期无明显变化趋势, 但集中度有上升趋势, 夏季集中期、集中度缓慢下降, 秋季集中期、集中度变化不明显;近10 a来3季集中度明显增大, 春夏两季集中期推迟. 春季降水集中度对干旱没有显著影响, 但首场透雨出现早晚对干旱影响显著, 透雨出现偏早, 干旱等级低, 反之亦然;夏季集中期对干旱影响不显著, 但集中度显著影响干旱, 集中度高, 雨涝发生概率越大, 集中度低, 干旱发生概率大;秋季集中期、集中度对干旱都有影响, 集中度高, 集中期早, 雨涝发生概率大, 反之干旱出现概率大.  相似文献

Ten detailed vertical water column profiles were taken between April and November, 1979, in Esthwaite Water (English Lake district), a lake with high biological productivity and a seasonally anoxic hypolimnion. Measurements of the major-element particle composition (organic C, P, S, Si, Al, Ti, K, Mg, Ca, Fe, Mn, and Ba) and hydrochemical constituents (temperature, pH, dissolved oxygen, total suspended load, dissolved Fe, Mn, P, and Ba) were carried out. These have revealed new information about the mechanisms and kinetics of biogeochemical cycles in a lake.Pronounced seasonal cycles exist in which large excess concentrations (those unsupported by detrital components) of particulate organic C, Fe, Mn, P, S, Mg, K, Ba, and Ca are being generated and lost in situ in the water column (15m deep). In the epilimnion these elements (excepting Fe and Mn) are incorporated into the organic components of growing phytoplankton during the spring and summer. Simultaneously, in the hypolimnion there is a build-up and then a decrease in the excess concentrations of particulate C, P, S, Mg, K, Ba and Ca; this cycle is due to the indirect involvement of these elements with the iron redox cycle. As the hypolimnion becomes anoxic, dissolved ferrous Fe is released from the sediments and large concentrations of excess particulate iron (III) oxides accumulate; these oxides act as adsorbing substrates for the above mentioned elements. As conditions become more reducing, these same elements are solubilized as the iron (III) oxide particles are reduced to dissolved ferrous iron.Adsorption equations are derived from the field data which relate the concentration of excess particulate Fe to those of POC, P, S, Ca, Mg, Ba, and K. At the last stages of anoxia (before the lake overturns) large populations of bacteria and the formation of iron sulfide particles control the concentrations of excess particulate C, S, P, Mg, K, and Ca.  相似文献

四川江油马角坝地区船山组核形石十分发育,类型多样。基于对其内部显微结构的研究发现核形石核心和纹层各有5种类型,并伴随有3种圈层"构造"。基于对其核心、纹层和形态的研究将研究区核形石分为大球状核形石、小球状核形石、长棒状核形石、帽状核形石、不规则状核形石和复合核形石等6大类,并将它们划分成3种沉积环境,即台地边缘滩、开阔台地和局限台地,并探讨了碳酸盐岩地层中核形石的分布、形成环境和沉积环境的耦合关系。高含量、大颗粒、纹层厚度大于核心厚度、纹层复杂、核心组分与基质组分存在较大差异,亮晶胶结的核形石的形成环境与沉积环境不一致,即核形石形成于水动力较弱的局限台地或开阔台地环境,强水动力使核形石发生磨圆,基质生物碎屑破碎,进而沉积于水动力较大的台地边缘滩环境。中等含量、中等粒度、纹层简单、与完整生物碎屑共存且粒径类似、亮晶胶结的核形石的形成环境与沉积环境类似,即部分生物碎屑在中等水动力条件下,处于悬浮状态,捕获和粘附碳酸盐质点,当个体增大和水体环境变化时,核形石就地沉积于中等能量的开阔台地环境。含量低、粒径变化大、纹层厚度小于核心厚度、纹层简单、形状易受核心的影响,纹层外壳凹凸不平,基质生物含量低、泥晶基质含量特别高的核形石的形成环境与沉积环境一致,即形成并沉积于水动力偏弱的局限台地环境。  相似文献
