Soil salinity is a major environmental hazard. The global extent of primary and secondary salt affected soils is about 955 and 77 M?ha, respectively. Soil salinity tends to increase in spite of considerable effort dedicated to land reclamation. This requires careful monitoring of the soil salinity status. The objectives of this study were: (a) to evaluate the capability of thematic mapper (TM) and multispectral scanner (MSS) imagery for mapping land cover types, (b) to analyse the spectral features of sail crusts relative to bare soil and gravely soil surface conditions, and (c) to detect the soil salinity changes during the period 1975–2004 in the Ardakan area located in the central Iranian Deserts. The Landsat MSS and TM on two different dates of September 14, 1975 and September 11, 2004, respectively, were used. Due to great confusion between some classes, the TM 6 was included in the band combination. The result of the image classification based on the combination of TM bands 3, 4, 5, and 6 showed of the classification results. For multi-temporal analysis, both TM and MSS images were classified with the same method but with a different number of training classes. The TM-classified image was regrouped to make it comparable with MSS regrouped classified image. The comparison between the classified images showed about 39% of the total area had changed in 29 years. The result of this study revealed the possibility of detecting important soil salinity changes by using Landsat satellite data  相似文献

庐枞盆地内的中生代火山-潜火山岩具高钾和相对富碱为特性,属典型的橄榄玄粗岩系列。它们在地球化学上表现出明显富集Rb、Th、U、K等强不相容元素和轻稀土元素,亏损高场强元素Nb和Ta的特征。Nd、Sr同位素组成总体位于富集型的扬子克拉通岩石圈地幔的范围内或其附近,显示其母岩浆主要是由富集型地幔部分熔融形成的。火山-潜火山岩的成分变异趋势显示橄榄玄粗质幔源岩浆在高压下(斜长石稳定压力之下,1.5GPa)经历过以单斜辉石和钛铁氧化物为主的矿物分离结晶作用。低压下矿物的分离结晶作用及上地壳物质的混染则不明显。这套火山-潜火山岩的部分地球化学性质(如Ce/Yb比值)类似于大洋岛弧内的橄榄玄粗岩,可能意味着区内由于岩石圈的减薄,软流圈地幔上涌到了岩石圈相对较浅的部位,控制源区部分熔融的主要是尖晶石相地幔岩。虽然局部(如靠近郯庐断裂的盆地西缘)可能存在着明显的热侵蚀,但"突发性的"机械拆沉是区内(乃至整个长江中下游地区)岩石圈减薄的主要机制。在整个晚中生代岩石圈减薄的过程中,这两种机制可能一直相互促进着。  相似文献

The Mesoproterozoic Khariar basin, to the SE of Chhattisgarh basin, comprises 1000 m thick arenaceous-argillaceous sediments. For the first time, a multidisciplinary approach has been made to the integrate interpreted satellite imagery, aero-magnetic and aero-radiometric data with available ground exploration data sets with an objective to understand structural fabric and to establish various parameters for unconformity related uranium mineralization in the environs of Khariar basin. Total Magnetic Intensity (TMI) anomaly image has been useful to mark major faults (ENE-WSW), magnetic bodies and overall basement characteristics. Combination of first vertical derivative (1VD) and tilt derivative magnetic images brought out presence of NW-SE magnetic linear (dominant) with minor ENE-WSW and NNE-SSW trends. Basic dykes and quartz veins are the surface manifestations of NW-SE trend in basement. Radially averaged power spectrum indicates the approximate basement configuration. Enhanced Thematic Mapper satellite imagery (Landsat ETM+) interpretation has shown lineaments along NW-SE, NNE-SSW, ENE-WSW and ENW-WSE directions. These observations are corroborated by interpreted results of magnetic data. Analysis of both results indicate NW-SE and ENE-WSW trends as post depositional. Aero-radiometric images (U, Th, K and ternary U-Th-K) show overall radio-elemental distribution for various litho-units. Besides, Th and K images along with interpreted ETM+ satellite imagery (RGB: 432/752/751) are useful to map small outliers and to modify basement-sediment contact. Geochemical data from basement rocks around Khariar basin suggests the younger Bundeli granitoids and its equivalents are good source of uranium in the western margin. Presence of labile uranium is inferred from higher concentration of uranium in water samples. The Airborne gamma-ray spectrometry (AGRS) and hydro-geochemical anomalies fall along fault zones and intersection of fault zones. The western and southern margin of Khariar basin are also characterized by presence of paleosol at unconformity, which are favorable factors for unconformity type uranium mineralization. Based on the present study, part of western and southern margin emerge as potential target areas for further exploration of uranium.  相似文献

对大石寨组火山岩的形成时代和形成背景的认识存在较大的分歧。对采自建组剖面底部英安岩样品中的锆石进行阴极发光照相、微区原位LA—ICP—MS微量元素分析和U-Pb测年。锆石U—Pb同位素分析结果显示,锆石发育典型的岩浆震荡环带,高Th/U(0.51~1.57),轻稀土元素亏损,重稀土元素富集,具有强烈的正Ce异常和强烈的负Eu异常等特征,表明锆石均属于岩浆成因。22个分析点获得的谐和年龄为(314±1)Ma(MSWD=0.88),代表了大石寨组火山岩的形成时代。结合前人的资料,认为大石寨组火山岩为裂陷早期的产物,而晚古生代的沉积岩石组合为在这一基础上发展起来的具有裂陷盆地性质的沉积组合。  相似文献

Tropical forests play a crucial role in the function of our planet and in the maintenance of life. Tropical forest vegetation maps are very important for managing tropical forests. Mapping tropical forest vegetation only by spectral-based remote sensing techniques has proven to be problematic. The objective of the study is to develop a rule-based model to identify different forest types using Landsat TM images and GIS. In this paper, we developed the rule-based model to identify different forest types in Xishuangbanna, P.R. of China, using two temporal Landsat TM images and geo-data such as DEM, rainfall and temperature. The results show that the method put forward is useful and effective in tropical forest vegetation mapping, which can effectively integrate multi-knowledge and multi-resource data to identify the tropical forest vegetation types with higher accuracy.  相似文献

The aim of this paper was to investigate the suitability of the pixel-level and product-level image fusion approaches to detect surface water changes. In doing so, firstly, the principal component analysis technique was applied to Landsat TM 2010 multispectral image to generate the PC components. Several pixel-level image fusion techniques were then performed to merge the Landsat ETM+ 2000 panchromatic with the PC1PC2PC3 band combination of Landsat TM 2010 imagery to highlight the surface water changes between the two images. The suitability of the resulting fused images for surface water change detection was evaluated quantitatively and visually. Finally, the support vector machine (SVM) technique was applied to the qualified fused images to map the highlighted changes. Furthermore, a product level fusion (PLF) approach based on various satellite-derived indices was employed to detect the surface water changes between ETM+ 2000 and TM 2010 images. The accuracy of the resulting change maps was assessed based on a reference change map produced using visual interpretation. The results demonstrated the effectiveness of the proposed approaches for surface water change detection, especially using the Gram Schmidt-SVM, PLF-NDWI, and PLF-NDVI methods which improved the accuracy of change detection over 99.70 %.  相似文献

A comparison of K, Rb, Th and U concentrations in granulite facies rocks with those of unmetamorphosed common rock types shows that depletion of these elements in granulites is variable. K/Rb ratios for granulites are generally higher than unmetamorphosed rocks, but K/Rb ratios only reach extreme values when K < 1%. The covariation of K/Rb ratio with K concentration suggests that protolith composition, hence mineralogy, is very important in controlling the degree of Rb depletion in granulites. Felsic granulites exhibiting extreme K/Rb ratios are mainly Archean, reflecting the high abundance of low K felsic rocks in Archean terrains. The Scourian granulites of Scotland all have very high K/Rb ratios and cannot be considered to be representative of granulite facies terrains. It is impossible from this data set to state conclusively whether K is depleted in granulites; K/La ratios of granulites show complete overlap with igneous rocks. Th/U ratios in many granulites are greater than 4, indicating U loss relative to Th. Felsic granulites with low Th/U ratios also have high La/Th ratios, indicating that these granulites have been depleted in Th. The low Th/U ratios of these rocks may reflect retention of Th and U in resistant accessory phases.  相似文献

岩石的吸收光谱主要是由杂质、包体、蚀变及替代成分产生的,每种岩石都难以形成象它的组成成分那样具有可分辨的很清晰的光谱特征;不同类型的岩石放射性元素的含量和分布特征是不同的,岩石放射性信息是岩性识别研究的重要判据。遥感与航空放射性信息的集成.既能提取光谱图像中的光语信息和空间纹理信息。又可利用航空放射性信息常常具有的甚至是诊断性的岩性识别能谱标志。能明显提高识别岩性的精度,更重要的是能谱不受值被的影响,有利于识别植被覆盖区的岩性。因此,这可能是遥感岩性识别研究的发展趋势之一。  相似文献

近30a来若尔盖盆地沙漠化时空演变过程及成因分析   总被引:5,自引:0,他引:5  
在遥感(RS)和地理信息系统(GIS)技术的支持下,采用1975年的MSS影像和2005年的TM影像对若尔盖盆地土地沙漠化的时空演变进行了监测。研究发现,从1975年到2005年的30年间,若尔盖盆地的沙漠化土地以年均70.18 km2的速度发展,共增加了2105.36 km2,其中主要以中、轻度沙漠化土地的增加为主,增加面积分别为957.13和1146.75 km2;重度沙漠化土地变化很小,仅增加了1.48 km2。在1965—2007年,若尔盖盆地年平均气温升高了1.41℃,年平均降水减少了34 mm,人类活动对环境的破坏作用加强,严重过度放牧,因此该地区沙漠化发展是自然环境变化和人类活动共同作用的结果。  相似文献

沉积盆地中碎屑岩的地球化学成分主要受物源区控制,因此,通过分析碎屑岩的化学成分可以揭示盆地沉积岩的源区构造背景和物源属性。思茅盆地上白垩统勐野井组(K2me)细碎屑岩的稀土元素组成分析结果表明,研究区沉积物具有轻稀土元素富集,较平坦的重稀土元素分布模式,以及中等程度 Eu 负异常的总体特征。根据样品的(Hf-La/Th、La/Sc-Co/Th和REE-La/Yb)图解,特征性微量元素比值(La/Sc、Sc/Th、Cr/Th 和 Co/Th),并结合岩矿薄片分析,认为勐野井组细碎屑岩具有典型的上陆壳特征,源区母岩以长英质岩石为主。微量元素 Cr/Co 结合岩相古地理的分析显示勐野井组细碎屑沉积物应属于近源沉积。通过与不同构造背景下杂砂岩的稀土元素特征对比及主元素(K2O/Na2O-SiO2/Al2O3和SiO2-K2O/Na2O)判别图解,勐野井组细碎屑岩源区构造背景应属被动大陆边缘环境,这与思茅盆地所处的三江造山带构造背景相符。  相似文献

本文通过对MSS和TM图像的分析与研究,结合其它地质资料,指出修水地区的金成矿主要受高湖-蕉溪岭断裂和幽居-船滩断裂控制,二者是郯-庐断裂带西侧一支在本区的散开部分。高湖-蕉溪岭断裂既控岩又控盆。本区金矿床、矿田的定位模式为控金断裂与北东东向断裂相交,发育与岩浆活动有关的环状构造,并有金源层分布的地段。与该定位模式相似的地段有7处。模式地段的构造条件提供有利的成矿环境,如存在其它矿源层(体),也可形成相应的金属矿产。在模式地段应用TM图像对含矿构造及蚀变进行研究,可有效地为找矿服务。  相似文献

Statistical analysis is conducted to determine the unique value of real- and synthetic-aperture side-looking airborne radar (SLAR) to detect interpreted structural elements. SLAR images were compared to standard and digitally enhanced Landsat multispectral scanner (MSS) images and to aerial photographs. After interpretation of the imagery, data were cumulated by total length in miles and by frequency of counts. Maximum uniqueness is obtained first from real-aperture SLAR, 58.3% of total, and, second, from digitally enhanced Landsat MSS images, 54.1% of total.Publication authorized by the Director, U.S. Geological Survey, on 20 September 1984.  相似文献

The paper presents an example of the application of remote-sensing techniques in peat resource investiga-tions. The study was carried out in the Zoige region. The optimal imagery time (during October) and theoptimal band (MSS_7) of Landsat data were selected. The preferred images were processed optically and bycomputer and interpreted in a comprehensive way. And in-situ spectrum measurements and drilling verificationwere carried out.The identification signature of the peat bogs in Zoige was defined. The feature of the identifi-cation signature for peat was that the peat bog area showed a dark tone with lower reflectance in images of thefour MSS bands. The distribution range of peat bogs in the region was exactly located. The types of peat bogswere distinguished. The total peat area of 4038 km~(2) was defined with a total reserve of 5 billion m~3. The resultof the study indicates that the large-area, small-scale investigation of peat resources by use of satelliteremote-sensing data is an advanced method. by which the work efficiency can increase by about 20 times.  相似文献

从CE-1 γ能谱测量获得的数据出发,对原始数据进行处理,将原始谱线按每5°×5°网格内平均而获得月表上的γ能谱数据。选取了12条不同位置分别代表玄武岩、斜长岩、富镁岩和KREEP岩的能谱曲线进行分析,发现同一岩性的谱线具有相似性。通过对每种岩性选择的一条谱线进行分析可知,不同的岩性能谱曲线有一定的差别,表现为不同岩性在元素特征能谱峰的变化不同,玄武岩的能谱曲线特征峰主要的元素为Th、K、Si、Ca、C、Fe和Ti;斜长岩的能谱曲线特征峰主要元素为U、Ca、C、Mg、Al和Mn。KREEP岩的能谱曲线特征峰主要为K、Th、U、Si、Ca和Fe,而低C和Al;富镁岩能谱曲线表现为低U、Si、Ca和Cl而高K、Mg、Th和Fe含量特征。文中给出了能较好区分不同岩性的元素特征峰能量,可为月表γ能谱的定量分析奠定基础。  相似文献

应用美国S101图像处理系统,对山东水道—冯家幅能谱(U、K、Th、Tc)数据作了图像处理.能谱比值合成图像反映了原图件未显示的线性、环形构适、蚀变带等,其中一些环形构造与MSS图像上反映的环形构造一致.依据地质图件,应用能谱图像,详细划分岩性,圈定了构造、岩体和蚀变带,取得了满意的地质解译效果.  相似文献

There is a correlation between thorium and the light rare earth elements, indicated by La/Th ratios in fine grained sedimentary rocks of various ages from Australia and Greenland. The correlation between Th and the heavy rare earth elements (Th/Yb) is much less significant. Archean sedimentary rocks have a higher La/Th (3.6 ± 0.4) than post-Archean sedimentary rocks (La/Th = 2.7 ± 0.2).The cause of this correlation can be attributed to the coherent behaviour of these elements during most sedimentary processes (weathering, transport, diagenesis, etc.). Since the chondrite-normalized rare earth element distribution of clastic fine grained sedimentary rocks is accepted to be parallel to the distribution of REE in the upper continental crust, an estimate of upper crustal Th abundances can be made. Using reasonable assumptions of certain elemental ratios (K/U, Th/U, K/Rb) in the upper crust, minimum estimates of the abundances of K, U and Rb can also be made for the post-Archean and Archean upper crusts.The post-Archean values (K = 2.9%; Rb = 115 ppm; Th = 11.1 ppm; U = 2.9 ppm) compare favourably to some previous estimates made from direct sampling and theoretical considerations and help confirm a granodiorite present day upper continental crust. The Archean data (K = 0.92%; Rb = 30ppm; Th = 3.5 ppm; U = 0.92 ppm) support models which suggest a significantly more mafic exposed crust at that time.  相似文献
